Due to the crusade being started by the magic council, guild masters and the head of the knights, a program was created for the knights and the wizard to team up. And Reggie was the perfect candidate of Blue Pegasus for the program as Mistress Mai is so confident about the blonde wizard's skills and magic. This left Reggie with no choice but to follow orders. But she was somehow excited that the mistress informed her that she would be working with a person whom she met before. It couldn't be Toshiro since one wizard will be paired with a knight, so it is very unlikely for that to happen. She was assigned to find out and stop the cult that was going on in Oshibana. It was a long trip from the north. The sight of the big train station that dominates the town made her relieved that the long train ride was finally over. She stepped out from her compartment dressed in her non-usual clothes, or else a mob of fans would crowd around her. That would be inconvenient for the mission. She was now wearing a green summer dress that only covers up to her knees along with a pair of brown leather boots with fur. It was very unlikely for her to mismatch her clothes, but she felt like she would need the boots during the mission. Hair was worn into a messy bun. She was now sitting on a bench as she waited for her program partner to show up. "Oh! Where is that knight?" Reggie muttered as she tapped her bag out of boredom. |

Cyrus held his head in his hands. How, how in the world had he gotten put on an Inquisition assignment with Reggie? The knight couldn't fathom it, the world worked in mysterious ways, that was the only half-answer that he could come up with. Cyrus didn't think he would see the blond again after their strange encounter over the holidays- yet here he was, sitting on a trolley through Oshibana on his way to go team up and smash some cultists. Oh well, there were far worse people he could have been paired with in all honesty- at least it was a familiar face too, Reggie seemed rather kind despite her overwhelming extrovert behavior. The trolley bumped and creaked as it rolled along down the hill towards the train station where he was supposed to meet his new parter for this little adventure of theirs. "This could be one of those days" the knight said to himself as he had a sinking feeling that things were about to get uncomfortable once again. Still, the last time they had prepared for a dangerous mission they had found out it was always a ruse- Cyrus had a feeling that they wouldn't get the same luck twice. Oshibana was a pretty decent city, but there were plenty of underground trading networks which dotted the area. There was also the obstacle in that Cyrus had no idea where to start looking for cultists, he simply let orders flow down from the top and go off those. Investigating was somewhat more foreign to him. |

The blonde wizard was now worried as Sir Sawyer did't show up yet. She was now walking back in forth in te train station trying to look for the blonde knight. "Where could that man be?" She said as she caught of a glimpse of the hair as yellow as corn. Reggie run towards it and poked the blonde guy. "There you are Sir Sawyer!" But it feels like her jaw reached the ground as the blonde guy turned to her. It was not Sir Sawyer! "Sorry! I thought you were the guy that 8 have been waiting on this station. Reggie said as she smiled awkwardly at him. "It's okay. I'm waiting for someone too and I know the feeling." The blonde guy said and smiled back at her. "I'm Andrew by the way." He said as he offered his hand for an introduction. "Oh pleasure to meet you. I'm Regina Mckenzie." Reggie said without realizing that she just revealed her disguise to someone in the crowd. Good thing the guy was not a crazy fan or something. He just casually said," For real?" Reggie just nodded at him as she don't want the other people in the station noticed her. "So what are you doing in here? Should you be in Crocus doing charity works and stuffs?" Andrew asked. "Oh! I am on a break. Even someone like the Miss Fiore deserves a break sometimes." Reggie said. She was looking at Andrew when she saw a familiar figure behind him. He just got off from the train. "Sir Sawyer!" Reggie called as she run towards him. She then realized that she just left Andrew without a word. "Nice meeting you by the way!" She said, turning a bit to Andrew and then went on running towards Sir Sawyer. The blonde guy watched the blonde wizard meeting the blonde knight. He knew the guy is a knight since Reggie called him "sir." His lips curled into a smile. "Just as what I expected." He said as he went out of the station and head into an unknown place. |

Cyrus hopped off the trolley and found himself standing in front of the Oshibana Train Station, this was where he had been told to meet the Blue Pegasus mage herself. The knight looked around, the town seemed fairly busy today, although there was not much out of the ordinary. A few people nodded at Cyrus as he walked up the stairs of the front courtyard to the train station entrance. With the Inquisition sending all its troops out to try and impose some sort of resemblance of law upon the land, people began to salute civil servants such as Cyrus more and more. The knight nodded at a few older veterans here and there as he heard a familiar voice cry out over the moving sea of people. Reggie McKenzie, the young woman certainly seemed younger for her age- yet she had enough respect for the knights to say 'sir' before addressing them. It was a lost art these days, a bit dated and heralding back to the olden days of Fiore, "Please, it's just Cyrus" the knight said, putting up a hand in protest although it was all in good fun. "Now then, just what are we doing here? I wasn't given a lot of details about this besides that we were supposed to investigate the town" he said, looking around the train station before looking back to Reggie. They were here on a mission after all, and with how deeply entrenched the cultists were into Fiore, it would be no easy task to root them out. |

Well, calling him 'sir' was really old fashion. But it was the proper way that Reggie knew how to show her respect to the knight. It was the least she can do for all the things they did when the whole country was fast asleep. Protecting the citizens from the darkest evil spell. But if he preferred the informal way, then Reggie should address him in the way he wanted. "Okay Sir Sawyer! I mean, Cyrus." She said as she blushed. The knight then asked her about the mission details as he seemed to be not well informed about their crusade. "There were sightings of occultic activities going on behind closed doors in the town. We just needed to pin point the location of the demonic activities. There were more than fifty household in the town." Reggie said as she tried to recall the other details. "It is said that the activities were done at night so the two of us have to do this when the night falls upon us." Reggie said as she looked at the clock on top of the town hall. "Well, we should find a place to stay during the investigation. It's three in the afternoon. Four more hours until we start moving through the town." Reggie said as she lifted her bag full of clothes. "Come one! There should be a cozy place to stay somewhere in this town." She said as she lead the knight outside that train station and into the hot streets of Oshibana. Reggie looked around. It was nothing but a small town filled with shabby shops and street vendors that sells flowers and fruits. She passed by an old shop and noticed that there were actually interesting items within the place. But she had no time getting fascinated by the antiques. They finally came to an inn, just a few blocks from the train station. The honeybee inn. Reggie knocked on the door and it was opened by a young girl. She looked at Reggie and was wondering if the blonde mage was Regina Mckenzie or just a look alike. But she pretended not to hear her as her while attention got caught by Cyrus. "Oh! What a cutie!" She said as her tone seemed to be more inviting compared to when Reggie asked for a room. The two settled inside a room with different beds on the of both sides of the room. All of them were facing the easy where the sun rises. "Pretty cool isn't it?" She said as she adored the view. |

Wait... He had to stay overnight? Cyrus managed to keep up with the other blond as she told him the basic details of the mission. It was the standard case of cultists up to no good and only the two of them could find them and stop them, that part he was fine with. The knight crossed his arms in front of his chest as he heard that they still had almost four hours before they could even start investigating the area- such frivolous wastes of time did not go over well with the knight. Unfortunately, there was no use crying over spilt milk, the man was here and he couldn't just leave or ditch the mage. Reggie hefted up her multiple bags of clothing and started leading the knight out of the train station and back into the city streets. The sights and sounds were a dime dozen for places like Oshibana, that of the flea market or a city full of vendors in full throttle. The scenery seemed to sort of just whiz past the knight as he shuffled onwards behind the younger girl reluctantly, finally the two ended up at an inn. The title alone caused the knight's stomach to drop, the word 'honeybee' felt sickeningly sweet for an otherwise salty and bitter person like him. Still, he followed Reggie inside and kept quiet while she set everything up, it would speed up the process hopefully. After a few more minutes the two were in a modest room with a nice view. "Yeah, its nice I suppose" Cyrus said, he didn't wait for another question, he simply flopped down onto his bed and stared up at the ceiling- oh lord how he was bored, how in the world was he supposed to wait for four more hours? |

Reggie saw the knight fell to his bed bored. Well thinking of waiting for four hours would be boring. And doing it would be even more boring. But the blonde wizard didn't see a reason why they should wait for four hours when they can start investigating right now. "Sir Sawyer, I mean Cyrus. Just because the rituals usually took place at night doesn't mean we can't investigate in the broad daylight." She said as she started fixing her hair and was now wearing the old glasses that Toshiro owned. She put a bit of perfume and lipgloss. "Get yourself ready. We will look through the town and made a map ourselves. Who knows what will happen tonight. And our disadvantage would be the maze that is the town." Reggie said as she brought with her her exquip purse. "Let's go now." She said as she went downstairs and waited for Cyrus to come down. The two of them head off to the streets. "So the inn was located at the easten part of the town while the most occupied residential zones are in the southern part, then some in the western part and the northern part would be where the upper class family lives." Reggie said as she read the map she borrowed from the inn. "We could check the north first. And then went down to the west all the way to the south. Reggie said as hold the map upside down trying to see the map from where she was standing. "Hmmm. So this street will actually lead us to the three parts. We just needed to go at the center. I say we head to the Nothern part so we can find a way towards the west part while running away from some demons." Reggie said as she walked down the street towards the center part of the town where they would eventually take a turn to a street that would lead them to the northern part of the city. |

"-Yes, but we'd stick out like sore thumbs" he said in response to the other blonds proposition that the two of them simply start investigating now. The knight would have rather just taken a nap then see where a wild goos chase led them. Still, seeing as how they didn't have any other way to kill time effectively, the knight didn't put up much of a protest. He got up and grabbed his sword off the bed, it seemed that the Blue Pegasus mage would be leading things as usual while Cyrus just tagged along and smacked anything that got too close to them. A few minutes later they were back in the streets of Oshibana, the teen logic'd things out enough for them to decide to head to the upper class district of the town first. The knight simply gave a shrug of approval, there wasn't much use in putting up a fight otherwise. With that he looked at the map the teen had opened up, the plan seemed simple enough, he didn't care to construct a more in-depth one, not when they had no idea just what they were going up against. The two walked through the city a bit before heading northwards, entering the upper class district of the city. Lavished houses and impressive homes lined the streets, Cyrus let out a small whistle as he passed the various mansions and estates- people sure could make money in this city that much was certain. |

So the upper class district consist of beautiul mansions and houses within the town. Reggie felt herself walking in the streets of Poinsettia, where every mansions and houses were as grand, sometimes even grandier, as the ones she passed by the northern district of the town. The street was not littered with any vendor and the sidewalk was adorned with lamp posts and flower beds in front of the houses filled with mostly roses, tulips and daisies. "Hmmm, the street in this district is clean not littered." Reggie said as she held the map in front of her. They suddeny came to a corner and Reggie turned to the right. "This should lead us to the western part of the town." She said as she found the nothing suspicious in te northern district. Well the sun was still up anyway and the ritual will take place at night. The two went on and end up in a busy part of the town. Vendors were now occupying the sidewalks. People would have trouble staying out of the way as a carriage would pass by. Unlike the northern district, the houses in here were mostly two storeys and were standing close to the street, giving them no space for gardens. Reggie was walking when she suddenly saw a bunch of people walking towards an alley. "Follow me." Reggie whispered to Cyrus as the two of them headed towards the dark alley. |

The two walked through the more upper-class and wealthy part of Oshibana, casually strolling along the sidewalk in front of lavish mansions as the sky began to darken above them. Indeed, they were starting to approaching the witching hour wherein they'd have better luck finding more info on the cultists. The knight simply followed the young teen silently, she seemed to know the city much better than Cyrus did- something that the knight were perfectly fine with really. The two made their way along the wealthy district before they made a sharp turn and started heading southwest towards the busier merchant quarter of the city. The streets tarted to turn from a largely empty avenue into a jam packet flea market. Vendors littered the sidewalks and merchants constantly tried to sell things to anyone who passed by, practically shoving goods into their faces. Carriages rolled along the streets and Cyrus simply did his best to not get run over by horses or the massive influx of humans trampling over one another to get the best deals at the market. Reggie seemed to spot some suspicious activity though, thus Cyrus simply followed her as they neared an alley. Initially, the knight didn't think much of it, alleyways tended to be simple connectors between parallel streets after all. If there were indeed cultists in these streets though, then they were going to have to take nothing for granted. |
