Jason eyeballed the bouncer, turning his head to focus on him. The dude really did have a tight grip, it was annoying to say the least. Jason smiled at the bouncer innocently.

"Alright, Alright I'll leave, I don't want no trouble"

Jason walked forward from under the bouncers grip. Then in a flash of light he disappeared, than reappeared behind the bouncer. Jason quickly reached the bouncers sword and attempted to remove it from it's sheath, and then swung it at the bouncers neck, if he succeeded it would probably decapitate him, or do some serious damage. Jason leapt back after delivering the blows, hopefully they landed.

"I'm sorry I couldn't hear you right bitch, you said something about you dieing right?"

Jason kept the sword in his hand, it could come in handy later on. The man who had attacked Jaxus mentioned having business with Jason and Jaxus later on, like hell they would, Jason would settle this right here and now.

"Oi fugly and hideous, just where the hell are you going, let's settle this right here right now"

Jason spoke aggressively, he didn't give a shit that the other bouncer had got up, and that they probably could be using their time better than fighting each other, he wasn't going to back down. Not against a rude person like the man.

"What's your name Fugly?"

Jason asked Bones for his name, planning to give his in return, he'd like to know the name of the person he slaughtered. Jason stepped forward, spinning the sword at his side.

"Actually, how about a bet, which ever one of us can take down their bouncer with no help first wins?"

Killer Lord, The Silencer of Men.

Ugh boys.

Sighing as the cultists were able to get into the back without being noticed, Amelia could not help but draw her eyes towards the growing spectacle that was happening on the other side of the bar. Assuming it was simply a "whos got the largest feet" contest and thought of paying it no mind, Amelia would of truly started to give it her attention once the bar's guards stepped in. Contact once made and in a flurry of movement one of the bodyguards was threatened while the other was flipped into one of the unused tables.

And...here we go...

Slowly standing up and removing the hood off her head, Amelia would quiet down the barman who seemed over himself to try and get her to get involved. "This is what we hired you for." "How can you just sit there and do nothing." Blah blah blah. To be honest, Amelia was a bit concerned if this was what the cult was made up of. Men and women to scared to handle their own problems so they hired others...then again...this was what most would consider the bottom of the food chain after all...Maybe they got stronger the higher you went...

With her thoughts more focused on the hierarchy of the cult, Amelia would wait start talking in order to grab everyone's attention before any fists...any more fists started flying. As the bodyguards knew her they would wait before assaulting the men who attacked them, regrouping themselves as they stood on their two feet and side by side.

"Okay. You boys over here are quite loud, this is a place of cultist activity, not your personal playground. Take your fighting and such far from here least I become your current problem."

Her eyes would scan the room, gentle touching all who were the focus of her words. Jaxus, his blond friend, the leader of the three goons as well as his underlings. Spotting one(Skuzz) of them however, Amelia would gasp quietly. She knew him.

"Aren't you from Tartaros? What are you doing here?"

She would say moving her cloak to the side so that her guild tattoo placed seductively upon her hip could be seen. If these men were all from her guild perhaps they would understand her position and leave. However that was just hopeful thinking because with her experience, Tartaros members never excused themselves from a good fight, regardless of who was participating.

I don't even know.
CRACK! As Skuzz smashed the weight of the bouncer upon the table, afew of the bars patrons rose from their seats and made their way to the exit in a panic. At the same time, Jaxus found his sight shifted from the scene to Jason, a worried expression crossing his face. "Eh...?" However, before he could put too much thought in it, he felt his feet touch the ground, causing him to look to Bones with a confused look. "Eheh!~" At Bones comment, a mischievous wide grin spreading across his face. "Oi, oi! Even an idiot like me ain't no coward! I ain't gonna run, ya hear!? Don't doubt it!"

"Great.~ Be on your way now..." As Jason acted as if he'd leave, Amedio's pupils dilated as the flash of light appeared, seeing the swing and gleam of metal in the corner of his eyes. Fwip! //Close one...// The slice of the blade missed Amedio's neck as he slid his feet across the ground, lowering his posture and ducking his head to lower his elevation as fast as possible as afew stray hairs of blonde were hacked off from the tips of his haircut, causing a disgruntled look to spread across his face as he positioned his feet closer together before leaping backwards out of Jason's range, leaving Jaxus to chuckle as he turned his attention to the scene.

"Eheh, nice one Jason!" Jaxus pressed out a wide thumbs up in response as he turned to Jason, now free of the grip which held him as he gave a cheesy grin. "Lighten up though, for me please?~ Bones is alright.~ Eheh.~" Maybe it was just the alcohol talking. Still, Jaxus was grateful Bones hadn't decided to pummel him in the midst of this chaos. For a Dark Mage, Jaxus had a respect for his code of honor, even when Bones code of honor differed from his. "Ey! Amedio!" "Huh...?" As Amedio looked Jason down in the middle of his rant, acting as if he wasn't even there as his hands tensed and untensed in anticipation before looking to a hooded, bar patron as a gleam of metal shined through the air. "Heh. Thanks." Reaching forward, Amedio gripped a metal Katana which had been tossed to him from within the crowd. No sooner than this occured, the figure that tossed the object slowly walked towards the door, slowly blending in with the crowd and if unstopped, they would soon fade away into the streets outside. "Don't be getting too full of yourselves..." Vicinte slightly backed up by a single pace, slowly reaching to grip his Katana as a certain, focused glare flashed through his eyes, gleaming with murderous intent as Bones and Skuzz surrounded him.

"Time to end this..." As Jason swung the sword around, completely disregarding his own movements or how he was reacting, Amedio tested the swords balance and grip as he tensed up, about to deliver a finishing blow before another new voice entered the fray, yet, one all too familiar to Jaxus. "Amelia...!?" At that moment, both bouncers froze mid motion. Amedio, with a lamenting sigh, leaped backwards to close formation with Amelia. At the same time, Vicinte, in the dead center of Bones and Skuzz would have a much harder time to escape. "Heh..." Suddenly, a twitch in Vicinte's right arm occurred, but in a purposed attempt to off set their timing, he leaped backwards, using his sizable strength to leap "clear on top of the table behind him.

If this move had succeeded, he would take a step backwards and in a split second twitch, swing the sword in a wide arc forward in order to prevent their advance upon him. Yet, the speed at which it was drawn was great, greater than expected as he torqued his entire torso into the motion, slicing fast enough to hear the air whip. Vicinte, as it seemed, was actually trained in Laido. If the follow up succeeded, Vicinte leaped backwards and kicked the table mid jump, hoping to prevent Bones and Skuzz from following him immediately as he attempted to regroup with the other two, sheathing his sword in the motion.

"Oi...Amelia...!" As the bouncers attempted to close the formation, Jaxus turned his attention straight to the group, a slight hunch in his posture as he struggled to process the information. His face twitched and contorted as emotions flooded through his being. He felt...sadness....anger...anxiety...and even fear. Not for the fear of what to come, but what he may have to decide upon. "T-This is a joke...right?" Jaxus couldn't believe it, this was a cultist hide out, and Amelia was helping them? He didn't want to believe it, but something about Amelia said she wasn't joking. As Jaxus realized this, his head tilted downwards, his fingers tightly clenching as miniture tremors built up in his fists. "...Nande...? ....Nande...!?" Jaxus spoke to Amelia, first as a pained whisper, then a sudden, slightly louder yelp, but as he looked to Amelia, a look of anger, nor the dead set, determined expression that was so characteristic of his was not present. Instead, sadness lingered in his eyes and grimace, his fingers clenching and unclenching, dealing with the rising anxiety. "NANDEYO!?" As Jaxus said this last part, his eyes clenched slightly, holding back the emotions. Unfortunately, this was one of those moments where Jaxus couldn't think. He could only know how he felt, and he verbalized it in just one word alone.

-On the other side of the bar-
"Hey Sarge, think we should be getting involved now...?" "Not yet, these guys may actually be useful..." "Come on Sarge!" "Private...!" "Fine..." In the corner of the Bar, two oddly dressed figures bantered, viewing the scene out of the corner of their eyes as they watched everything unfold. //Who woulda' thought that lead was right...We're way outmanned here...// Little did the other bar patrons know, these two figures, dressed in common civilian clothes were undercover knights. Under the rumors of this bar's association with the cult, the two had come to investigate. Yet, now in front of their eyes, the entire establishment and perhaps the mission was at risk. They'd wait, for now, and decide if the moment is right to step in.

All amongst the chaos, more and more patrons began to make their leave, some in panic, some unnaturally calm. Through the waitresses, notes under drinks, and more, each of the members were communicating and relaying their plans to handle the situation. They were preparing for the final blow to assure their bar's secret remained safe. "Caaaw....?" Yet, as afew figures slipped into the back, a certain, feathery figure caught the act, outside of the chaos and carefully observant, as most predator birds were. "Caw!" Leaping from the table, Persies began to follow the assorted "patrons" to the back, curious as to their intent. Despite being a bird, Rainbow-Tail's were incredibly observant, and the way those men walked acted as if they didn't want to be spotted.

Fear does not exist
Bones broke into his fighting stance, squaring up against the sizable figure in front of him. He was only a few inches taller than himself, but Bones could tell he was a fair bit heavier, and that the man could handle himself in a fight. Skuzz had slammed him into a table and the man had gotten up with a scratch. They'd have to put him down hard to get him to stay down, that much was certain. Bones could vaguely make out the blonde haired man, who he was going to dub Idiot two: Idiot harder, talking non stop behind him. He cocked his head from one side to the other as he shot Skuzz a look. "He sure talks a lot, doesn't he?" Skuzz said calmly, his eyes never straying from their opponent. "Yes. Yes he does." "So he's one of those annoying types, isn't he?" "Yes. Yes he is." Vicinte's hand casually strayed towards his weapon, and both Bones and Skuzz tensed up at the same time. They moved forward as one, but something drew Vicinte's attention. He suddenly began to try and get space, leaping backwards. Bones made to give chase, but Skuzz reached out a hand and grabbed him, stopping him in time to prevent him from being sliced in two.

Vicinte kicked the table at them as he leapt backwards again, but neither made any attempt to chase him further. He fell in line with the other bouncer and a cloaked woman that he hadn't seen before now. The woman had the hood of her cloak drawn, allowing them to see her face. She was attractive, but probably a bit young on the young side, but apparently she was calling the shots here. Bones crossed his arms as he and Skuzz stepped forward to hear the woman. She advised the to leave or she would take up the fight. In all honesty, Bones didn't find her particularly impressive. He was about say something, when the woman addressed Skuzz, asking if he was from Tartaros. She pulled back part of her cloak to reveal a Tartaros tattoo on her hip, to which Bones and Skuzz exchanged looks.

Skuzz pulled up his shirt to reveal the Tartaros tattoo just below his chest, right on his solar plexus. At the same time, Bones tapped the toe of his flip flop against the ground to dislodge it, lifting his leg up to reveal the Tartaros tattoo on the bottom of his right foot. Having all presented their tattoos, Bones relaxed a little bit. Not too much, but a bit. Grinning smugly, Bones squatted down so that he was eye level with Skuzz, and began playfully elbowing him in the ribs. "Skuzz, you sly dog you, that your lady?" Skuzz's face remained impassive, but his tone was annoyed. "If that was my lady, she would probably recognize me." "So you guys just had a passionate night at the guild house then, eh? Still not too shabby." Skuzz stifled a groan, rolling his eyes slightly. "Not even, I've just seen her a couple times at the guild is all." Bones, who had been playfully elbowing Skuzz since the beginning of the conversation, switched over to his other side, elbowing him with the other arm. "You sure? I saw a look of recognition that wasn't just an "ah, I've seen you" look. I mean, if you got it man, flaunt it."

"You're an idiot." Bones straightened up with a laugh. "I'm just messin' with you man. I know there's no way in hell you'd be able to pull a chick like that.""F*ck you." Still chuckling, Bones nodded to the woman. "Is this a guild job? My answer is dependent on that. If it's a guild sanctioned job, I might consider leaving. Changing the venue once the first punch has been thrown isn't really my style. I tell you what though. Kill the loudmouth," he said, jerking his thumb at Jason, "And we'll leave. Hell, if this is a job for the guild, maybe we'll help you. What say you?"

Jason gave up his angry act and let it go. He was still gonna beat the tartaros mages ass, just later. Jason sighed in aggrivation. He was done with this front he was putting up, his eyes narrowed and as if like magic they became void of any form of compassion. They were blank and soulless, the eyes of a killer. Jason felt movement in his chest pocket, what the hell? He looked down a a slugs head poped out. Hibiki.... He didn't remeber bringing her along, he thought he had left her asleep at the bar.

"God damn it Jason you and you're buddies are way to loud, you woke me up from my nap, and I was having the best dream ever"

Hibiki spoke loud enough for everybody to hear, she climbed up onto his shoulder.

"And get that look out of your eyes, you're softer than a pillow, no way you'd fool anybody with a look like that"

Hibiki lectured him as if she was his mother. Hibiki had been with Jason even when he was still part of the church, maybe she was trying to avoid trouble. Hibiki hated when Jason got all serious, she didn't want him to be like that, she wanted a normal life for him. Alas that wasn't possible, but she wanted him to live as normal as he could. Jasons old look came back and he just looked at Hibiki, a little relieved to have a friend with him. I mean he had Jaxus but.. Jaxus was, Jaxus was weak compared to the people who have shown up. Jason could practically feel the murderous intent in the air, it blanketed the place making it all awkward and shit.

"God damn it Hibiki I was just about to give a kick ass speech about how they have one chance to turn themselves in, or I do some crazy ninja shit, and then embarass ugly over there. But nooo you had to pop out and ruin the moment, there's a reason I leave you at home you know"

Jason spoke to Hibiki, making disrespectful gestures to Bones as he mentioned him.

"Jason what do you mean you left me at home, then explain how the hell I got here you ass hole?"

"I don't know, what it looks like is that you were asleep in my pocket the whole time"

"How the hell didn't you notice me in your pocket, this is besides the point, you are being childish, focus on the matter at hand, we are surrounded by cultists and there are three Tartaros mages, two of whom are about to join the 'dark side' do something about it and stop complaining about how I ruin your 'epic moments'"

Hibiki scolded him and examined the situation in the bar. She was never really asleep, she had snuck into his pocket before he left the house, she wouldn't admit it but she didn't like being alone at the bar, she had nothing to do there, no one to talk to.

Jason didn't bother complaining, there was no winning this argument, Hibiki would just embarass him further.

"Fine fine fine, just shut up already"

Jason really was acting like a child at this point. Jaxus seemed to know the girl who had just made an appearance, he seemed upset by her presence, and her alliance with the cultists. Jason remained calm and studied the situation closely. If the ugly guy and midget left the team, that would leave Jason and Jaxus vs Ugly, Midget, Female Midget, and the bar that was apparently a cultist hot spot. Jason sighed, he hated impossible siuations. Every time he had come across situations like this things have gotten out of control, and somebody had ended up dead, given he planned to kill somebody anyway, that wasn't the point. Jason couldn't teleport again just yet, and the body guards seemed to be able to keep up with him, so a suprise attack was to risky. Not to mention he didn't know the abilities of the female Tartaros Mage who had just shown up, their safest bet was to bid for time.

"Where are my manners, I haven't introduced myself yet have I, they call me Jason, Jason Light of Blue Pegasus"

Jason unbuttoned his shit and pulled it down so his chest was exposed, he flashed his guild mark for all to see proudly. The Tartaros folk probably wouldn't react to kindly to a Blue Pegasus Mage, since the two guilds are like polar opposites. From what Jason has heard of Tartaros, it seems they lack female members, while Blue Pegasus lacks male members. Tartaros seems to believe in brute force, Blue Pegasus believes in pacifism. Polar opposites. The girl was kind of hot, a little under developed, she was hot in a cultish sort of way. Of course Jason being the man that he is couldn't fight the urge to flirt, not that he consciously had this urge.

"You know beautiful women like yourself shouldn't hang around the heathens at Tartaros, they might violate your sacred body, not that you can't hold your own, it's just that Fugly over there looks like he's into that kind of thing, shit they probably all talk about it behind your back, I mean their guild is a Suasage fest, they probably get lonley"

Jason spoke calmly, he didn't want to spook anybody with his insults. Jason continued to assess the situation. Now that Hibiki was here he had a better chance at survival or even winning, tho his chance of survival was still low. Jason continued to contemplate possible actions he could take from this point on. He could try and attack the cultists and the girl out right, maybe Jaxus would have his back, or he could try and escape, but he had no means of communicating and planning the escape with Jaxus. Jason for a second missed the days when it was just him and he didn't have to worry about morals and friends and things, but alas friends were a pleasure, and he'd have to work to keep it.

"You know, always talking about killing people isn't veyr appealing, I bet you got bullied when you were little and that's why your all bitter now, you should lighten up, you know find some good friends to drink beer and dick around with"

Jason spoke his voice friendly, as if he wasn't insulting anybody. He attempted to put his hand on Jaxus's shoulder, so that Hibiki could run over and whisper the plan, but then he realized she didn't know the plan either. Jason sighed, time to act stupid again.

"TEAM MEETING"

Jason called and he attempted to wrap his arm around Jaxus and turn around , attempting to force Jaxus down into a huddle like stance their back to the bar.

"Guys I have a plan"

Jason whispered quietly to Hibiki and Jaxus.

"Your plans suck"

Hibiki whispered back to Jason, he paid no mind to her insults.

"First we have to see what ugly over there does, if he betrays us I'll cause a distraction and we'll make a break for the door, Hibiki be ready with all your spells I'll need your help, and Jaxus, do you think ugly will betray us for that girl? And since you seem to know who she is, how strong is she, cause if we can get out we can bring Knights, but I don't want to lead anybody in a blood path, ultimately Jauxs it's your call on how we proceed from here, I can beat the body guard if I really have to, but not with out using one of my trump cards, your call man"

Jason whispered to Jaxus, Hibiki knew what he meant by trump card, it was a spell that the two had developed a while back, they called it sage mode. Maybe things would work out after all...

Killer Lord, The Silencer of Men.

The scenario had seemed to flip or rather take an interesting turn of events.

Ignoring the slight bickering between Skuzz and his friend whom both introduced themselves as Tartaros mages, Amelia considered the leader's words carefully. If she said it was a personal mission, would that pit him against her? As it was said, it seemed due to the honor of being within the same guild he would not interfere though his help would only extend to fighting the blond haired boy whom had easily taken sides with Jaxus. Strangely Amelia noticed that it was a good old fashioned good versus evil situation with Amelia making the calls.

How horrid.

Then again, she could use this to her advantage...But only if the leader/Skuzz's friend accepted the terms not to interfere. Hypothetically, if Amelia suggested that the bodyguards focused on clearing the bar so that there were no onlookers nor any bystanders that would get hurt, she could deal with Jaxus, while Skuzz and his friend handled the blond haired one. While she thought on this, the man introduced himself as Jason Light of Blue Pegasus. Well thats nice, but Amelia was focused on more pressing issues. The appearance of his slug made Amelia question what happened to that bird Jaxus had with him...Did anyone see where it went?

"In fact it is."

Amelia lied. Her attention was then drawn to the...seduction? efforts of Jason as he not only bad mouthed the men in front of him, but also the guild she was apart of. She knew she should say something, but the silence would be more of a decent response to his repulsive advances. While the two had their little meeting by the bar, Amelia would look to Bones and speak calmly, after suggesting(said as ordering) the bodyguards to clear the bar, telling anyone who was not apart of their "group" to leave. Now.

"Instead however I'd like to take you up with a different offer. The details of why I'm here are more focused on protecting and ensuring certain events happen. if possible could I leave them to you? That way you technically do not have to change venue and can still get any testosterone out of your system."

Waiting until Jaxus and Jason were finished, Amelia would flick a bang out of her face before speaking nonchalantly.

"Seeing as none of you here can afford repairs to this bar, I suggest you take your fighting outside. As men you are duty bound to deal with any prior engagements before dealing with my clients. Hence why my clients items should not be damaged as a result of your fighting.

Taking a breath as the bodyguards finished escorting the last group of people out of the bar, the bodyguards would quickly approach two lone "civilians" far on the other side of the bar...

"If your successful in beating my guildmates here, you can then attempt to deal wtih me and my clients, though I personally don't think you guys will last too long...I mean. Your hair color does speak for itself to be honest."

Once the situation had been laid out and Amelia gathered herself after talking for so long, she would look around the bar making sure everyone was removed before motioning for Bones, Skuzz, Jason, Jaxus and one of the bodyguards to leave the bar so that the fighting could be done outside. She actually chose not to respond to Jaxus' words earlier. It seemed that reality had crushed on the child too quickly his mind unable to process an ally now turning or rather becoming an enemy. But in reality, she was always an enemy...He just had not known it yet..but she did. It was only a matter of time.

"Jaxus...if you want to talk...I'm here. But you gotta beat those guys first okay?"

If everything went smoothly, Amelia would watch as the bar was cleared of civilians, Jaxus and Jason went outside, Bones and Skuzz went outside as well as one bodyguard followed them out closing the door behind him. That would leave Amelia, the cultists and the remaining bodyguard within the bar free to watch the fight outside via the windows, or as Amelia was more concerned, finding that bird that seemed to be with Jaxus earlier but has disappeared during the recent events.

I don't even know.
"Nandeyo..." Jaxus whimpered, motionless as he kept his head tilted to the floor. This feeling in his chest, it was pain. Compared to his other friends, Amelia and himself went on multiple jobs already. First, their escapade adventure with Gryffin through dimensions, then back at Halloween town, ironically on the same mission once again. They even spent part of a Christmas party together, in the same fashion of a chance meet up. After the last encounter with a Windigo, Jaxus had grown so used to Amelia as his ally. Even with her affliction, he never gave any thought that this may have been inevitable to stop. Amelia's quest for power, and Jaxus' search for fame, now met at in impasse.

-Outside the bar-

"Ah, man, Sarge, what are we gonna' do now...?" "Quiet Private..." As the young knight whined to his on the field partner, the higher ranked officier closed his eyes as they casually walked down the street, having been "escorted" by Vicinte off the premise. "Why don't we just go back to headquarters and tell em? The place will be toast in a night!" "Private...!" The Sargent raised his eyebrow as the Private spoke, letting out an annoyed growl before shaking his head from side to side. "If we go back, we gotta' get proof. Worse yet, if we leave, the best chance we got at proof is happening right now." //If only we could get out a signal somehow...// The Sargent placed his hand over his chin, deep in thought as he attempted to think of the best way to handle the situation. "Assuming the rumors are true and those two idiots keep raising a ruckus...This way." Motioning for the rookie to follow, the Sargent motioned for his comrade to head into the back alleys with him. Perhaps not the tactically best choice, but if there were representatives meeting who fled, it certainly wouldn't be out the front door. They'd probably first try the back door to get out discreetly.

-Back inside the bar.-

Keywords of the talks around him came and went through Jaxus' mind, passively listening. Yet, behind his long bangs, looking to the floor, a grimaced, saddened expression spread across Jaxus' face, clenching his eyelids as he attempted to stop himself from crying. He really, really had no idea what to do. To protect his friends, he had to fight his friend. This was impossible to decide! "Woah!" Suddenly pulled out his trance as Jason gripped him and pulled him into a huddle, all during the time Bones and Amelia had begun to converse. "Huh..." Jaxus looked to the slug of Jason's in a confused manner as he declared he had a plan, only for it to retort. Normally, Jaxus would probably crack a joke at Persies' expense, but he wasn't in the right mindset for such banter, and the neutral, saddened expression on his face as Jason spoke showed how much Amelia meant to him as a friend.

"Wai-What...?" As Jason said it was his call, he looked up to him in a confused expression, surprise clearly in his eyes. "your call man." As Jason told Jaxus he held his trust, Jaxus felt a thump in his chest as his eyes opened wide, hands shaking and vibrating at this realization. Even in a dark situation like this, Jason trusted him completely. He...He couldn't back down, not now. Seemingly finding his resolve at the last moment, Amelia told Jaxus he needed to fight Bones if he wanted to talk to her later. "Jason..." In a whispered tone, Jaxus forced a gentle, close lipped smile, yet, it was ever so slight it was obvious it was forced as he closed his eyes to give Jason an innocent look. "I got a plan...Trust me...and...uh...take it out of my pay..." Oh lord. Now "Jaxus" had a plan. Just like Jason, whenever he said this, it was bound to be trouble.

Seemingly just a moment after Amelia said this, Jaxus tilted his foot to his right and turned to Amelia, his chest expanding and filling with air as he steeled himself for this. This, was going to be a gamble. Suddenly, two fingers and thumb extended, Jaxus shifted and pointed to Amelia as he lifted his head to attempt and meet her gaze. "OI, OI, OI, OI, OI! WHAT KIND OF CRAP IS THAT!? TALK LATER!? THESE GUYS WANT TO DESTROY "EVERYTHING!" LIGHT GUILDS, DARK GUILDS, THEY'RE A DANGER TO "EVERYONE!" Immediately, Jaxus seemed able to discern through the lie, perhaps a rather unexpected turn of events for someone so clueless.

With Vicinte now guarding the door outside to prevent any "unwanted" guests, and Amedio at Amelia's side, he waited for her order to attack as the boy ranted on. Yet, suddenly his tone got quiet, and his facade quickly became apparent as sadness became apparent in his voice. "I-I'm not gonna' lecture ya', your doin' somethin' that's important to you...right? So..." Jaxus suddenly forced his resolve up once more, slamming his right fist into his left palm as a determined glare sparked in hias eyes. Yet, for the first time in earnest since this revelation, Jaxus gave Amelia a gentle, innocent smile, attempting to show there was no hard feelings as he said his next words in the most childish, playful tone. "I'm just gonna' go round' you and beat your clients up, ok?~" As he said this, Jaxus tilted his head to the hallway that lead to the backrooms before quickly turning to Amelia to scan her reaction. Jaxus was bluffing entirely. He noticed awhile back Persies was gone, and though she was out of communication range, their special link allowed them to sense the general direction of eachother. It took a moment, but if Persies was back there, either the chef was, or someone Persies didn't like. Way he saw it, it was a fifty, fifty chance, and Amelia's reaction could be the sealer to prove the suspicion that her clients were in the very building.

Timing the moment to hopefully off set Amelia with the surprise bluff, Jaxus quickly turned his attention to Bones. "Ey.~ If ya' want to kill me or Jason later, ya' can always find us round' here at Blue Pegasus, so how bout' a job for now instead?" Jaxus looked back to Jason and pointed his thumb backwards to refer to him. "One point five million Jewels from Jason..." Jaxus dragged his thumb back to his chest, giving Bones a nod. "And the same from me. If these clients are important, they probably got a good bounty on em, but mainly..." Jaxus paused slightly, forcing up to courage to fight, giving Bones a mischievous grin. "I just wanna' tear this place apart.~ You and your friend interested?~"

Behind Jaxus' childish grin, something may have become apparent to those listening, especially Bones. In the earlier talk they had in the north pole, Bones had expressed his guild's, and his own dedication to finishing their jobs. In essence, Jaxus was attempting to make a power play, and use that knowledge to attempt and have Bones join their side. Furthermore, he hoped Bones would be more willing to consider the offer when he offered for Jason to pay part of the bill without asking him, something he was sure would annoy Jason, but perhaps get a laugh from Bones and be the final negotiating piece they needed. In reality, behind his dopey exterior, Jaxus was actually...kind of clever.

Suddenly shifting his weight, Jaxus' legs began to twitch as if preparing to take off as he looked to the hallway before looking to Amelia. At the same time, he pressed his hands together at his side as orbs of light suddenly ignited around his hands. As he opened his palms wider, they began to spiral inwards into a larger, brighter sphere of golden white light. "Oi, Amelia, let's still be friends after this, alright...?" Jaxus forced a gentle, innocent smile, but it only lasted for a moment as it quickly turned into an expression that may have been forced. If Amelia noticed his hands shaking as he charged up the laser, it may have become apparent that this fight pained him as much as he hid it. He didn't want to do this, but he'd have to. Hero's needed to make tough decisions, after all. "Jason, get ready..."

-In the back of the bar-

"Caw...?" Persies let out a hushed, curious whisper as she walked about the hallways. Yet, as a certain creek of footsteps sounded along the floorboards, she shuffled under a nearby table, ducking low to keep out of sight as a figure lightly jogged past the table seemingly in a rush. SLAM! "Please forgive the interruptions, my lords.~" One of the cultists who had slipped behind, dressed in buisness casual opened the door to the meeting, clasping his hands and offering a bow to the meeting figures, revealing a discrete, sound proof room with no windows to0 speak of. "There's a fight going on outside, and two of them seem to be Inquisitors. Amelia's assumed command of Vicinte and Amedio, but the reinforcements may not arrive in time if she needs them. It may be safest to regroup at a later point."

"Ahahah!" A bellowing laugh came from one of the more arrogant Liasons, Byron Olstead as he ashed his cigar upon the circular meeting table. "Don't worry rookie, we hired that Amelia girl for a reason. What, you think we can't pick our guards?" The man had a grizzled appearance, with a grey beard and a large santa belly, wearing traditional mafioso clothes, hat and all. "Mmmm? What do you guys think? I wouldn't mind ending the meeting early so I can get my drinks in, going to be a long trip back for all of us I'm guessing, right, right?~ Bahahah!" Byron was always like this and attempting to get out of the meetings early. Of course he'd try and use this as an excuse to adjourn early to soothe his thirst for bourbon.

Fear does not exist
The events that followed the Tartaros woman's plan could only be described as strange. Bones figured that the two idiots wouldn't leave quietly, but the manner in which they refused to do so was unbelievably stupid. First, a slug seemingly appeared from nowhere. Like, literally from nowhere. It crawled out of the blonde haired mage's shirt, and began berating him in front of everyone. Bones and Skuzz exchanged looks, as the man argued with the slug about how it had ruined his chance of making a cool speech. "Pretty sure nobody cares about you're speech..." As soon as that happened, the man introduced himself as Jason Light of Blue Pegasus, and began to both insult their guild and Bones in particular, while praising the Tartaros mage. The way that he'd displayed his guild mark, it seemed almost as if he was expecting those assembled there to react in some way to the revelation. Skuzz actually laughed. "Blue Pegasus? That pansy light guild? No wonder all this guy does is talk..."

Bones nodded appreciatively. "It would make sense, I guess. Had he dropped the name of a real light guild, maybe that'd mean something. But Blue Pegasus? What a joke..." The Tartaros woman drew his attention as she explained the focus of the job, which was protecting certain events and making sure that they proceeded uninterrupted. As far as Bones could figure, that meant that something was happening here, something important, and that meant making sure that these mages left so as not to disturb those involved. It seemed like a straight forward enough job. As Bones straightened up, he became aware of Jaxus and Jason both huddled up in a circle. They stayed like that for a bit, but eventually, Jaxus popped up and began screaming something about how someone wanted to destroy everything, both light and dark guilds. Bones raised his eyebrows slightly, but didn't comment. It didn't matter what was happening or who was involved. In his mind, if the client paid, they'd receive the service of Tartaros. There was no middle ground.

Jaxus spoke to the woman with what could only be described as mixed feelings. His voice was both low and full of sadness, and the look on his face seemed hurt. Apparently the two knew each other from somewhere, possibly had a history. Now the woman's actions seemed less like delegating and more like reluctance to fight. She didn't want to clash with Jaxus, or at the very least wanted to postpone it as long as possible. Either way, her prior business with him didn't really concern him as long as it didn't effect her ability to do the job.It didn't take long before Jaxus began speaking to Bones, offering him a "job" to, as far as he could tell, wreak havoc in the bar. He offered 1.5 million jewels from both himself and Jason, to which Bones replied with a chortle. "You pay attention relatively well, but you still make bad decisions. The job is important, but it's only important because of the guild. Why would I accept a job that directly hinders a job given to the guild, no matter what the pay? The money, at least in my case, isn't the entirety of the issue. It's the guild's pride in making sure all jobs are completed, despite the interference. Besides that...That's insulting. one point five million? You couldn't afford me."

"Hell, I was thinking at least double that." Bones snorted softly. "I was thinking triple. No deal. You and your friend made your beds. No backing out now." In reply to this, Jaxus' hands fell to his sides, igniting balls of light at his palms. "Careful. He's a light mage. I don't think he's that strong, but a well placed blast in the eyes can be debilitating." That was more for Skuzz than the woman, since he figured she knew far more about Jaxus than he probably ever would. When Jaxus called her by name, it confirmed everything Bones had been thinking. "You knowing him isn't going to be a problem, is it? I don't want to hear any complaining afterwards," he asked nonchalantly, his eyes never wavering from Jaxus and Jason.

Jason gritted his teeth at the news. He'd rather avoid a fight with dark mages, he didn't care that the man had insulted his guild. He did however find it irritating that the man had just dissed them. Jasons expression changed in an instant, his face showed a lack of emotion, his eyes were cold.

"That's enough"

Jason spoke forcefully, he placed his hand on Jaxus' shoulder and stepped forward, he was only a few feet away from the Tartaros crew.

"I don't know your name, but are you really that stupid? I mean think about it, look around, this is not a job from your beloved guild, if it were at least two people would have been sent, unless Amelia here is b class or above, which I don't believe she is. If she were it'd be a different story, and I'd end your lives right here and now. But since Amelia is lying to you I don't see the need to do that."

Jason spoke coldly, he had picked up the girls name from when Jaxus had said it. Jason stepped forward, he was in the mans face now.

"If you don't believe me, how about you see it for yourself, if Amelia is truly strong enough to lead this operation, she won't mind participating."

Jason motioned towards her as he spoke.

"In order to tell if Amelia is on a guild mission I will fight her, if she beats me we will leave peacefully, if I beat her, or she refuses to fight, you help us take down the cultists"

Jason readied himself. He was going to beat her.

"Oh and another reason why I doubt this is a guild job, the demons invaded Coreopsis, and I highley doubt that Tartaros would aid the people who caused this invasion, I mean after they tried to leave Fiore I thought Tartaros loved their dear city"

Jasons voice was cold and dull, he lacked emotion when he spoke, he lacked fire in his eyes, he was himself, but not the one Jaxus knew. The one that had killed so many people, the one that he had run away from. Jason was confident that he could beat Amelia, and salvage this whole situation, it was a wreck at the moment. And even if he didn't manage to get the man on their side, he'd just resort to plan B, killing them both. Jason looked at Hibiki and nodded, she looked back at him and did the same, they had come to an agreement, this had to be done.

"Jason do you want me to use the trump card?"

Hibiki whispered in his ear. Their trump card was one that they had never used in a real fight, they had only used it during practice, but Jason had no doubt it would work. They called it sage mode, and it was a last resort.

"Not yet, but be ready to use it at a moments notice, and prepare to use your healing magic, in case I get cut or something"

Jason whispered back to Hibiki.

"You better not get hurt because of some gut feeling, you get out of here if she is stronger than you"

Hibiki warned. She treated him like a child, as if she was his guardian or something. Jason nodded, he wasn't going to listen, but he didn't want to argue with Hiniki right now. Jason waited for a response, things were going to get intresting.

Killer Lord, The Silencer of Men.

"Beat him within an inch of his life. Remember, just an inch."

Amelia said with a slight smile her body instantly getting into a ready position despite that aforementioned position being not much different than her usual stance. With her hands held confidently aloof at her sides, Amelia would notice the light Jaxus was building and sighed at how both boys had decided not to leave the bar like she suggested. The words Jaxus spoke made Amelia think that he was still taking this lightly, though there was a slight hint of seriousness. Jaxus has been around Amelia enough to know that to go against her was not an easy task. And to call her out like that...

Could only be coupled with the disgusting words of his friend. Jason had not only claimed that Amelia was a liar, but also called her out swearing that he could beat her. It was a dismaying prospect, to be beaten by such a loud mouth though the things he said had merit. Despite being completely biased, it was clear that he wanted Bones out of the picture and would rather take herself on as a target than him.

"Funny. The light mage boy, acts as if hes knowledgeable on how Dark Guilds think. Not only that, he also assumed to understand the thoughts of the Guild Masters themselves. Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. But, as a pacifist from Blue Pegasus, I wouldn't expect you to understand that."

Quickly reviewing what was said and how things were said, Amelia came to a quick and probably assumed conclusion. Both sides seemed to be desperately trying to pull Bones to their side. That meant that either side knew that Bones would be the deciding factor of the fight if one was to break out... Feeling ashamed that she had been unwillingly drawn into a child's game of tug-of-war, Amelia was quick to act to rectify her earlier decisions.

"Well, you had your chance."

And with that simultaneously kick and throw two of the tables closest to her towards both Jason and Jaxus. These wooden projectiles would hurt and probably knock the boys off their feet but also give the "dark side" time to make their initial battle actions. Unfortunately the tables if connected would hit Jaxus and probably ruin the build up of whatever he was doing as well as cause a bit of damage to Jason. The bodyguard with her, armed with a sword and unique fighting style would be quite the asset though Amelia's "survival of the fittest" attitude deemed her the best candidate for defeating the mages. If anything, Bones could sit and watch her dance her dance of death for both boys who had crossed her and her mission.
