The lavender forest, a wonderful place. The forest was beautiful and held many oddities, they were part of it's charm. Jason made his way towards The guild of wishes, they always had top of the line supplies. His order of drinks for his bar had come in, he had made a deal with the guild awhile ago they had agreed to hold the shipments of alcohol that came for him every month, they even check it for impurities. Of course this all came at a price, but it was worth it to Jason, plus he liked the people at the merchant guild, they were fun. Jason reached the man who held his shipments and smiled happily. "You know Jason, in all my years only a few bars have opened in Poinsettia, and yours is the only one that requires shipments every month, it's very profitable for the guild" Colin spoke to Jason as he approached the stand. "And here I thought you guys loved me for my personality" Jason responded also smiling at his old friend. Collin had been one of the first people Jason had met when he moved to Poinsettia, Colin was a merchant at heart, but he got along well with Jason. Collin snorted obnoxiously and laughed so loud that it drew attention. Collin was a rather tubby man, he was short and greasy, always wearing a dirty white shirt. Collin bent over and whispered to Jason loudly. "Jason first rule of The Guild of Wishes, nobody likes you for your personality, all these greedy pigs want is your money, trust me I'm one of them" Collin spoke to Jason a smile still on his face, he had a great sense of humor. COllin handed Jason a clipboard with a paper on it, the paper was required to confirm Jason received his purchase, Jason signed with the pen that had been placed on the board next to the paper. "You know one of these days you're gonna be heard by your guild mates and gonna be knocking on my door asking for a job" Jason replied jokingly, handing the clipboard back to Collin. Order done, time to return to Poinsettia. |

Shaking hands with the salesman from the guild of wishes, Darion gave one of his fake smiles (which few could see through) as he had just finished a deal with the local merchant guild for a few...rare items. Items which, if known to the authorities, would be confiscated and Darion would have a hard time explaining to his father why he was being put on trial. After all, this time he had come with a contract signed by his father, making Darion his own personal representative. Usually, Darion went on these kind of trips as a member of the family, but being sent as the personal representative of the Head is highly unusall, showing that the task is of utmost importance. In fact, not even Darion knew the contents of the large chest that his father had purchased. Grabbing his coat from a guard of one of the more shadier merchants, Darion quickly put it on as he took his cane and signaled to his own guards to retrieve the chest. Doing so without any questions, they showed an extreme care when handling the chest, and as soon as they got out an additional four guards started to protect the cargo. Two infront and two in the back. Waking infront of the two foremost guards, Darion lit a cigar and started to smoke on it as they walked through the rough road that would lead them to the outskirts of the forest where a carriage was awaiting them. As they walked close to one of the merchants houses, probably a storage room, as they rounded a corner suddenly a boy (not older than 17-18 or so to Darion) bumped into one of the guards carrying the chest, making it fall to the ground. Darion snapped his fingers, and soon two of the bodyguards had captured the boy in an iron grip. Darion walked up to the boy and said in a low voice "You little street rat, what do you think you are doing? Do you know the value of the chest, huh?!" The boy, too scared to formulate any real words, just shook and looked at Darion with a pale face, scared to death. Darion gave of a sound and said "I will teach you some manners, boy!" before raising his hand, preparing to strike to boy. As he was about to slap the boy, he heard someone shouting "Wait!" Turning around, he a saw one of the merchants running towards them with an angry look in his eyes. " What the hell do you think you are doing?! Release the boy before you get hurt!" Hearing a small laughter from the bodyguards, Darion smiled and chuckled as he snapped on his fingers, showing that the two bodyguards could release the boy. But as they did that, Darion quickly unsheated his sword and in an 360 degrees turn, he cut the throat of the boy. The merchant, looking at the boy first with fear in his eyes, but then with unspeakable rage, rushed towards Darion who simply avoided and slit the man's throat as well. Cleaning of his sword with the man's shirt, he sheated it and turned to the bodyguards and asked; " Is the cargo alright?" Getting a simple nod from one of them, he nodded in return and started to walk, his men following him. |

Jason shook hands with Collin and turned to leave, they would send the shipment directly to his bar via teleportation circle, it was quite a handy relationship Jason had with this merchant guild. Jason whistled as he walked away, it was gonna be a good day. As he reached the edge of the town he saw something quite out of place. Jason watched as a man, who looked to be around the same age as Jason, raised his hand to strike a man who also looked to be around Jasons age. Jason narrowed his eyes, he was reluctant to get involved, not at this level of violence. Jason continued on his way, continuing to eye the scene from a distance. Jason should have intervened sooner. A man tried to stop the guy from hitting the boy, and the man who had started it all responded with his blade. The man sliced the boys throat, then the mans. Jason watched calmly as the man went on with his business, leaving two body's in his wake. Jason had executed many people in a similar fashion, and even tho he had given up that life, acts like this still didn't shake him, not like they would a normal person. Jason's eyes glassed over, he had gone into that mode again, a mode where he ignored his emotions, a mode where he became heartless, he reverted back to his days with the church. Jason rushed forward, closing the gap rather quickly. Jason came in low, he had reached one of the body guards. Jason jabbed at the mans kidney the man almost fell from the surprise and from the pain but manage to stay up. Jason maneuvered in front of the man, he then shot his arm forward at the man's throat. Jason hit him right in the adams apple, the man fell to the ground trying to breath, good luck. The other guards were aware of Jasons presence now, hopefully they weren't to hard to beat. The guards dropped the case they were carrying and focused on Jason. Jason had gotten himself into this situation, he would get himself out, and then he would turn his attention to the mother fucker in the carriage, he wasn't getting away. |

Darion had just stepped into the carriage that was awaiting him and the cargo, and when the coach had closed the door and Darion had just started on a new cigar, he heard someone groan in what sounded to be pain then just gurgles. Looking out of the window he could see a man, around his own age, who seemed to have punched one of Darion's guards and making the others put the chest down in defence of their Master. Sighing with a bored look, Darion opened the carriage door and took a careful look at the figure who had dared interrupt his travel home with the prized chest. It was, as said, a man around Darion's age who wore a white shirt with a black vest, around 190 centimetres tall, and with quite a fair complexion. Surerly this man was popular with the ladies. Darion inhaled from the cigar and breathed out the smoke, saying in an ordinary tone with a slight hint of annoyance; "And who might you be, and how can I aid you? I am in a hurry so whatever you want, I recommend you to spit it out." Two of his guards quickly positioned themselves right next to Darion, standing in an position that was a sort of mix between "attention" and "I'll kick your ass" whilst looking at the unknown young man. Darion snapped his fingers and nodded towards the wounded guard, and the coach along with the fourth guard quickly understood what Darion wanted. They helped the guard up and brought him to Darion's side, looking completely ignorant of what was going to happen. Darion looked at the guard who was getting less and less air due to the strike at the adam's apple. The guard looked back and tried to utter some words, while Darion just sighed and with a short sentence "Useless.." he took out one of his throwing knifes from his jacket, and slit the guards throat as well. Signaling his guards to throw away the body, the guards did so without any hesitation knowing fully well that failure for them means death. Or at least disciplinary action. Darion now looked at the man again, waiting for his reply. |
