Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Embodiment of Pandemonium/Aspect of Sacrifice
The store was well lit by the ceiling light, it's fan slowly rotating, creating an, almost, hypnotic sound. People moved among the bookshelves, unaware of the eyes the flickered over them from the counter. To them, it was just another day, but for him, it was Hell. His eyes fell on one man in particular that seemed to be rumaging through the literature about ocean life. As Eric watched him, he felt his lungs fill with water. Fear encompassed him as his arms thrashed about, breaking the water's surface, desperately trying to find something to grab hold of so that he could pull free and take in air once more, but he couldn't. Hands around his neck, they were keeping him under, they did not want him to breath, did not want his heart to keep beating. His lungs were hurting so bad now, his conciousness was struggling as the black began to press against his eyes. He felt so weak... He wasn't going to last much lo-

"Excuse me."

The voice cut through the vision, bringing Eric back to the here and now. Blinking, his eyes focused on an older woman, placing a few books on the counter top. With a small smile, he took the books, looking them over and ringing them up on the register. Taking her money and giving back the change, he thanked her for coming and she responded in kind before taking her new purchase and leaving the store. The moment her back had turned, Eric's eyes flicked back to where the man had been standing before, but he was gone.

Eric wasn't like everybody else. He was, for the lack of a more accurate word, special. Though, those few who knew his secret said he was gifted or blessed, Eric liked to refer to it as his curse. You see, Eric had the ability to see the marks of the soul, those imprints that are left behind from interactions. More accuratly, he saw the marks left behind by sinful acts. Almost everyone had at least one sinful imprint, breaking a vow, betraying another's trust, the small things barely even showed up. Every now and then, however, Eric saw the big ones. Heinous acts against others were glaring, the worse they were, the more obvious the mark. In some case, Eric would even get a glimpse of the act that created the mark. This usually happened only if it was recent.

It would be hard to explain to someone what an imprint looks like. Some are nothing more than little cuts of light, shining off the person. Others are more obvious, bloody hands, bullet holes in the body, a rope around the neck. The more horrific, usually, the more obvious the mark, though that was not always the case. These marks made it extremely difficult for Eric to have any kind of relationship. How would you sit down across from someone, look at them, and see the sins they have commited. He tried blind dating once, the woman he got paired with had four bloody neckties hanging from her neck. He could to find that she was a widow, all four of her past husbands and die unexpectedly from "accidents."

He could not trust anyone, he could not have the life he wanted. His "Gift" forced him to live alone and trust no one. Everyday, was a new Hell for him.
