Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Jason scooped the bird up into his hand and carried him up the steps carefully, making sure not to jerk his leg around to much. Jason reached his room, and carefully laid the bird onto his desk, than opened his closet, exposing it's components, and grabbed the first aid kit he had in there. He kept one on hand, there were two in the bar, and one in his room.

Jason plopped the plastic box next to the bird on the desk, and popped the top off. Inside were a number of ointments and bandages, some magical some not. Jason with drew some athletic tape and a tube labeled "Magic Sporen" and twisted the cap off.

"This, little guy will help your leg, it should be better by the morning, you may still feel some pain but it will definitely speed up the healing process"

Jason looked at the bird, and applied some of the ointment to a q-tip.

"Hold still now"

Jason gently rubbed the ointment against the birds broken leg, as soon as it came into contact with the injury it began to glow a faint green color, Jason then unraveled the athletic tape, and let it do it's work. It flew through the air and wrapped around the injury, ever so lightly, it then flew back into Jason's hand. Magical stuff was awesome.

"There you go, all healed up" Jason then walked over to Jaxus, and let the tape do it's work on him, there didn't seem to be a need for the ointment considering it probably wouldn't do much, not for his injuries. Jason lifted up the bird and placed him on Jaxus' chest, that was that.

"Sqwaah..." Persies let out an annoyed, slightly pained call as she was placed on Jason's desk. "C-CAW!" As Jason placed the medical box to the side with a plop, Persies leaped up in surprise, backing away from the box as flames began to dance from within her feathers, small trails of smoke leaving her body as she bunched herself up in a defensive fashion, spreading her wings to the sides. Though, once the contents of the box became revealed, the Rainbow Falcon hatching pressed her wings back down to the side, the trails of smoke and embers in her feathers disappearing as quickly as the arrived.

"Caw..." As Jason explained the use of the ointment, the bird looked to him in a strangely inquisitive manner, as if mentally attempting to figure out the situation as Jason applied the ointment to the q-tip. "Sqwaah..." Persies let out a sudden, slightly pained sound as Jason applied the q-tip, but she managed to behave without attempting to peck or bite him. "Ca-Caaaaw..." Persies let out a relieved, somewhat grateful in tone call as the ointment did it's magic, the pain in her right leg slowly fading away with the green glow. Persies looked to the man and cocked her head sideways, as if attempting to analyze him. Before long, Jason perched her on Jaxus' chest, ruffling her feathers and adjusting the placement of wrinkles in Jaxus' clothes, as if setting up a nest before turning to the man. There was a lack of anger, or violent intent, but Persies was "very" protective of Jaxus.

Now that Jason reunited her with her dear companion, she was "setting up the fort," so to speak, even if she couldn't do much to protect him. As the time passed, however, Persies too would fall to the day's exhaustive adventure, soon falling asleep upon Jaxus' chest, tucking her head into her coat of feathers for warmth. "Nnn..." Still unconscious from his exhaustion, Jaxus hand weakly and slowly rose, weakly falling upon his dear bird as a smile spread across his bloodied face.

-The Next Morning-

"Nnn..." Jaxus weakly shifted in his sleep, having rested without a single blink throughout the entire night. Though, rest was a relative term in some senses, his dreams seeming to keep him on his toes the entire time. Though, what he dreamed of, was anyone's guess. Soon, the morning passed away, the noon sun rising into the sky, shining brightly as rays of light suddenly focused upon Jaxus' face, narrowing around his face before focusing around his eyes. "Mmm..Nnh...!" Jaxus violently torqued to the side, digging his face into the sheets to hide from the rays of sun. "CA-CAAAW!" "AIIIEGH! PERSIES! QUIET!" Having tossed Persies to the side of the bed on accident with his spin, she shrieked in surprise as she was woken from her sleep, illuminating the piercing migraine shooting through Jaxus' skull.

"Ahgh...What the hell happe-E-EH?!? AGHGH! ...Aiiieee..." "SQWWAAAH!" As Jaxus rubbed his head in a pained manner, not really taking much notice if anyone was even in the room, he looked down to the bed, leaping off the bed in shock, hitting the ground as he realized something rather obvious. He was in a bed, and considering he wasn't a home owner, it was probably another person's property. "W-What the...! Hrgh...!" "CAW! CAW!" //IDIOT! DOWN! IDIOT!// As Jaxus rose to his feet, he suddenly lurched over, pain shooting through every fiber of his body as Persies attempted to calm him down. "A-Aie..." Finally rising to his feet in a panic, Jaxus found himself looking out a window, his reflection clear as day in it.

"......" Blood was on his face, his clothes, his arms, it was everywhere, leaving him to look to it in a odd, childish confused fashion, mouth agape. "...WHAT THE HELL! KONO YAROU! WHERE DID ALL THIS BLOOD COME FROM!?" Really, Jaxus probably wasn't doing Jason any favors with his panic attack right now. "D-DID I BEAT UP SOMEONE FOR THEIR BED?!? I-I'M A MONSTER! WH-AUGH!" "CAAW!" Persies had enough. Using the springs of the bed, she leaped forward in thanks to the medical treatment Jason had applied, tackling Jaxus to the ground as shining, white flames engulfed her body. //IDIOT! QUIET! FRIEND!// "A-Aughuh...W-What...?"

Jaxus looked to Persies in a confused manner, now perched upon his chest as he laid flat across the ground. Looking upwards into the ceiling, memories slowly began to become less foggy, coming back in bits and chunks. First there was a man who grabbed his bird...He punched him...Had a small sized drink...and things were pretty fuzzy after that. He remembered a crack...then getting the crap beaten out of him by some blonde guy. "H-Huh..." The last thing he remembered was when the larger group of men arrived, but from the moment he saw afew of them go for his friend, and every moment afterwards, was a complete blank. Adrenaline can do that, after all, and the copious amounts of alcohol he consumed considering his lack of tolerance didn't help either. Slowly rising to a criss cross position, Jaxus looked left, to right with a curious, yet somewhat pained expression, scratching his head as he thought to himself. "...Where the hell am I, anyway?"

Jason watched the duo sleep, they got along well enough. Jason had just given out his only bed to a man who he had put in the current state he was in. Jason sighed and walked over to his desk, he took out his spare blanket and pillow from the closet and set himself up in the chair, it wasn't to uncomfortable. Jason leaned his head back and closed his eyes, it had been a long day.

Jason drifted into his own mind, he saw his greatest fears and greatest desires each night through dreams. He looked to his left, to his right. Everything was gone. He stood in what used to be his bar. Jason didn't know how he knew it was his bar, it wasn't recognizable. He just knew where he was, Poinsettia, except this wasn't the city he was used to. The city was silent, fires burned, rubble was flung over the streets, small fires burned here and there. Some building were completely toppled, other were on the verge of collapsing. Jason stepped out the rubble that was his bar. He walked down the street that he usually took to get to the guild. He walked for what seemed like an eternity, bodies were flung here and there, voices filled the air with the sound of agony, but there was nobody just Jason.

Jason reached the guild, it was collapsed, the bodies of his guild mates littered the area. Jason looked into the center of the wreckage, a young girl, who was maybe 2 years younger than Jason was standing there, on the body of the guild master. She held a sniper rifle that was bigger than the actual girl. It was held loosely by her side. She turned towards Jason, and Jason recognized her immediately. She had short red hair that didn't reach her shoulders, and a school like outfit.

"P-Paula?

Jason stammered. Paula was the girl he had left behind, the one regret he had about leaving the church, she was like his little sister. She was crying.

"Why'd you have to blab"

She sounded heart broken, her voice cracked as she cry'd.

"Jason i didn't want this to happen, didn't want any of this to happen, why'd you ever leave? We could be happy, just like the old days, Jason I didn't want to, but they sent me because it would hurt you that much more"

Jason tried to respond, he tried to move but he couldn't he fell into the black hole that was his dream.

Jason woke up in his bar, except he was still dreaming. It was full of panicked faces, Jaxus was there, something was happening. Jason looked around, it was all the same outside. Jaxus suddenly started screaming.

"WHAT THE HELL! KONO YAROU! WHERE DID ALL THIS BLOOD COME FROM!?"

Jason stared at this imaginary jaxus confused. His dream tried to compensate, and the room filled with a puddle of blood.

"D-DID I BEAT UP SOMEONE FOR THEIR BED?!? I-I'M A MONSTER! WH-AUGH"

Jason shook in his chair, he opened his eye slowly, his head was against the desk. He tried to go back to sleep but Jaxus continued to cause a ruckus. Jason opened his eyes once more and scrunched his eyebrows together, his face twisting in annoyance.

"SHUT THE HELL UP"

Jason spun out of his chair and launched his pillow in Jaxus' direction.

"CAN'T YOU SEE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SLEEP, WHO THE HELL WAKES UP IN SOMEBODY ELSES HOUSE AND THEN WAKES THEM UP"

Jason boomed at Jaxus, his arms spread wide. Jason took a second to calm down, he despised being woken up, by anything. He hated when his alarm woke him up. It's why his bar opened somewhere between 1pm and 2pm depending on the day, or sometimes as late as 3pm. Jason waited for Jaxus' response.

FWUMP! "AIE!" "CAAAW!" The spinning motion Jason added to the throw worked wonders, sending the pillow hurtling straight into Jaxus' face, knocking him back first against the ground with a thump. "E-Eh...?" Jaxus quickly popped back to a criss cross, sitting position, a surge of pain causing him to jolt as he rose and took the pillow off from his face. Geez, he had a number done on him last night. "O-Oh...You're..." Jaxus looked to Jason for a moment in a confused stupor, and suddenly, his eyes widened as he realized who the man was.

CRACK! The sound echoed through Jaxus' mind, the pained scream of his friend echoing in the distance. "...Oh..." Jaxus' fists clenched tightly, tense as the memory replayed through his mind, over, and over, prompting him to slowly attempt and rise. "I-I'll..." "CAW-CAAAW!" "AUGHK! PERSIES, WHY!??!" Thwack, thwack, thwack! The moment the thought of a rematch crossed Jaxus mind, Persies leaped forth from his lap towards his face, unleashing a fury of pecks. "COME ON, STOP ALREADY! OW!" //Down! Friend!// "H-Huh...?"

Suddenly, Jaxus' eyes widened as he looked down to Persies, finding a lack of broken bones anywhere on her body as she briefly motioned to Jason. "...H-Huh...?" Jaxus slowly directed his attention back to Jason, looking him over in a strangely inquisitive look. Really, it didn't look serious, if anything, it looked dopey and absent minded. "O-Oh...Y-You...patched up Persies, didn't you...?"

Clap!

Still in his criss cross pattern, Jaxus pressed his palms together and made a slight bow, in an oddly spiritual, even amiable gesture towards the man. "Sumimasen!" Jaxus held the posture for a moment, seemingly sincere in his apology. "I really didn't mean to wake ya'..." Jaxus rose up to his sitting position, nervously rubbing the back of his neck with his left hand, his right fidgeting with the fabric of his pants leg as he directed his eye contact away from Jason, seemingly out of embarrassment. "Just...uh...not used to waking up in a bed, ya' know? Kinda freaked me out, honestly..." Despite his earlier disposition, Jaxus was far different outside of combat. Compared to the tough, unyielding fighter he acted like, he was surprisingly a highly conscientious kid.

Jason watched as the boy rubbed his neck, it kind of made Jason feel bad for hitting him with a pillow, almost.

"Sorry I have a bad temper"

Jason explained to the boy getting out of his chair.

"I think I owe you an apology for a lot more tho, you see yesterday when we were fighting I had initially mistake you for somebody, somebody from my past"

Jason was on melting ice, he couldn't say to much if he did he would endanger everybody he had ever come into contact with, what a drag. This boy definitely deserved to know why Jason had beat his ass, it wasn't fair to not tell him. But if he did tell him somebody would know, and the shot would be fired.

"You see, I used to live a very interesting life, and I met some very dangerous people, people who would kill everybody I have ever met if I told you exactly why I flipped out on you last night"

Jason spoke carefully, choosing his words with caution, everything he said from now on could mean the end of everything.

"I never meant for any of this to happen you see, and I apologise for everything I put you through thus far, I think we got off on the wrong foot so let's make sure the next step is the right one"

Jason continued to speak to Jaxus.

"As I have told you already, I'm Jason Light, I'm a Blue Pegasus mage, I'm 18 years old and this is my home, it's above the bar we fought in last night"

Jason informed Jaxus, assuming he would want to know. Hopefully they could fix their relationship, Jason would rather not make another enemy.

"Anyway, you fight pretty good for a guy off the streets, with proper training you could be dangerous, but as a start you should avoid low kicks, it's a bad habit of your's to get caught by them"

Jason said trying to lighten the mood, he walked across the room, he was barefoot. He reached out his hand, in a gesture asking Jaxus to take it, it seemed that his bird was on Jasons side, that was a start.

Jaxus kept his head to the side for a brief moment as Jason apologized, his expression insinuating he was still feeling abit nervous. Really, Jaxus had been traveling for at least half a year now, and the beds he normally used were in trashy, run down inns unless he had a fairly lucrative adventure. Not like he's had many, as an unguilded mage, he took jobs for the challenge and adventure, rather than for payment most of the time. Though, as Jason began to vaguely describe why he attacked him, and apologized once more, Jaxus turned his attention back to Jason, cocking his head to the side, his arms calmly resting upon his criss-crossed legs.

As Jason continued to explain, Jaxus' mouth twisted and shifted to his left side, switching to the right side and back ever so slowly as Jason described the circumstances, as if attempting to digest his words. As Jason formally introduced himself, Jaxus cocked his right eyebrow at the mention of Blue Pegasus. Though, this serious expression was quickly broken as Jason complimented his fighting skills, followed by a gist towards his lack of training in guarding against low attacks, causing Jaxus to abruptly break out into a chuckle. "Eheheheh.~ I'll keep that in mind.~" Jaxus offered the man a cheesy, goofy grin in response, rubbing the back of his neck vigorously in response as a light blush filled his cheeks. Really, he was embarrassed that he took so many low attacks, and this provided abit of insight towards his personality. Truth was, Jaxus was kind of awkward with people.

"But, ya know, if anything...~"
Jaxus accepted Jason's hand, slowly bringing himself to his feet in a pained manner. "I think ya' owe Persies the apology, ya' ain't done nothin' to me, ya know?~" THWACK! "OW!" "Ca-caaaw..." "Aie..." Giving Jason the most dopey, friendly grin, Jaxus quickly received a peck from Persies, causing him to recoil and slightly rub the side of his head in pain. Persies really wasn't helping his headache in the slightest. Though, in some senses, this was her way of saying Jason owed her nothing. Really, these two were pretty odd. They had the crap beaten out of them, got pulled into a street fight, and both were bloodied for their efforts. Yet, the dialogue between them was lighthearted, even slightly comical. If anything, Jaxus was acting more casual, and it may have been clear. Neither Jaxus, nor Persies held malice to Jason. They had already forgiven him and moved on.

"Anyway!~ Nice to meet ya', Jason.~ Name's Jaxus Morbane, seventeen years old, don't gotta' guild, and the world is my home.~ Eheheh.~" Jaxus stated the last part confidently, acting as if this didn't basically equate to "homeless." "Don't forget it either, cuz' you'll be hearin' my name as a legend someday.~ Eheheheh.~" Jaxus let out a childish, carefree laugh as he said this, and while it may have seemed abit condescending, it quickly became apparent Jaxus didn't mean it as such. Maybe, he just didn't know what was appropriate in social circumstances. THWACK! "OW!" Abruptly, Persies pecked Jaxus in the side of the head, stopping his chuckle rather suddenly. "Oi, oi, right.~ And this is my traveling companion, Persies.~" "CA-CAAAAW!" Persies spread her wings proudly as Jaxus rose his left arm up, looking to Persies as he petted her feathers. "Oi..." Jaxus turned to Jason with a friendly, dopey smile, a light hearted chuckle leaving his mouth. "Thanks for takin' care of Persies while I was out. She means alot to me, ya' know?~"

Jason thought about what Jaxus had just said, no home means no job, no job means they were probably looking for one. Jason pounced at the opportunity.

"You know...there's always a spot open at the bar"

Jason spoke with confidence, he could always use some more hands.

"How does 500k jewel a day sound?"

Jason offered, being the excellent business owner he was there was no way he could turn down an opportunity to gain some employees, sure it would take away from his monthly take in, but the pay out was worth it. Jason thought about where he could lead this conversation, regardless of if Jaxus accepted the offer or not. Jaxus was a mage, he seemed to use some form of light magic, which Jason thought was cool, considering all the other light mages he had met were evil and were trying to get an excuse to kill him at this very moment.

"So, tell me more about the light magic you use, it interests me seeing a kind that isn't wielded by the c..., lets say bad people"

Jason had almost spilled the beans, he had to be careful. Jason hoped Jaxus hadn't noticed his slip of the tongue, it'd be awkward if Jaxus asked Jason anything to specific about his past, if he did the church would probably kill him.

Jaxus and the bird seemed to have a good enough relationship, which made Jason happy he fixed the bird first, because if it wasn't for the bird Jaxus would have probably gone nuts by now.

"And if you're ever looking for a guild I'm sure you have the marks to get into Blue Pegasus, not only are we strong, but we have all the hot ladies"

Jason didn't know if Jaxus was into girls or not, but it was worth a shot. Bp could always use some more guy members, from what Jason had observed, him and this other dark skinned guy that he had seen around the guild hall were the only men in the guild. Plus Jaxus seemed like he would be a nice addition, he seemed to be fun enough to talk to so why not?

"Oreh?" Jaxus let out a confused, odd sound as Jason offered him a spot at the bar, cocking his head to the side. "E-EH?!" His jaw dropped at the offer, considering he normally took jobs out of charity, that was more Jewels than he usually saw in a month. After all, "homeless nomad" wasn't exactly the most well paid career. "A-Aie! Sounds great!" Initially, Jaxus exuded enthusiasm in the idea, before a sudden thought hit him. "But...uh...aie." Jaxus attempted to think of the best way to form his words, Persies perched on his shoulder the entire time. "Well, I kinda' like traveling, ya' know?~ I'd want to help, but...uh...." Jaxus suddenly grinned with a blush, nervously rubbing the back of his neck as he looked to Jason. "Well, lotta' my expeditions end up pretty crazy, ya' know?~" And that was the catch, Jaxus couldn't be around all the time, but he was more than willing to offer a hand. Really, Jaxus had a knack for finding trouble, for good and bad.

As the conversation moved along, Jason mentioned an interest in his magic, though, before he could respond, he proposed that Jaxus had what it took to be in a guild, shortly thereafter mentioning the notable about of women in the guild. "I...uh...!" Suddenly, Jaxus' head jolted to his left side as his right hand began to vigorously rub the back of his neck, a bright, crimson blush growing across his face. "Eheh...Uh..." Jaxus suddenly turned his head abit further to the side, his nerves getting the best of him as his left hand began to fidget and rub his earlobe. It may have been comical, actually. Despite fearlessly fighting an entire group of men in combat, just the very thought of a guild filled with attractive women caused him to seize up with anxiety.

THWACK! "OW!"

Shaking his head left to right, Jaxus received a quick reboot from his earlier state as Persies gave him a swift peck. "Anyway.~ I kinda' been wonderin' bout Blue Pegasus for while, honestly. Gets abit dull not havin' many people to talk to.~" THWACK! "OW! ...Present company, excluded, of course..." "Ca-Caaaw!" Jaxus chuckled slightly, a carefree, wide grin plastered upon his face, only for Persies to peck him in annoyance. He tried not to let onto it, but Jason's comment had...well...made him incredibly happy. For a kid used to being bullied and looked down upon, Jason had just offered him a home, and that meant alot. Despite this, his nerves had forced him to change topics after his little freeze up. "As for my magic, it's...uh...kinda' hard to describe. Eheheh.~" Jaxus chuckled loudly once more, yet, his chest seemed to puff up ever so slightly in response, as if taking pride in the comment.

"Basically..." Jaxus rose his right hand to point to his eye with his index finger, and rapidly, the emerald coloration collapsed, revealing the same, golden white hue which he had used in combat. "I kinda' realized I could control my eyes while back..." Suddenly, his friendly smile turned somewhat more cocky, toothy grin. "And figured out I can use em' to reflect light.~" Suddenly, a glowing, golden white orb appeared upon Jaxus' index finger, spiraling and floating ever so gently towards Jason before fading away into nothingness, his eyes darting with the motion, as if guiding it. "I guess you could consider my eyes a big ol' mirror house. Eheheh.~" Jaxus chuckled lightly at the comment, a certain tone of pride in his voice. After all, it took him six years to find his magical talent. If only he knew the depth of his potential, for refraction was also part of his skillset, even if he didn't know it just yet.

Jason had no worries about Jaxu' concern about how often he would be able to work, Jason's bar ran on his time, he closed when he wanted and opened when he did, he didn't see why he couldn't give Jaxus free days.

"Don't worry about hours, tell you what, show up to work when ever you want and you'll be fine, just don't dissapear for like a year"

Jason offered to Jaxus in a tone that seemed to say that he hadn't ignored Jaxus' magic explanation.

"And your magic sounds interesting I'm looking forward to see how it develops"

Jason said this in a casual voice, as if he was going to spend a lot of time with Jaxus, as if Jaxus was definitely going to join Blue Pegasus. Jason had no doubt that Jaxus would enjoy the guild. As soon as Jason had stepped foot in it they had made him welcome, it was an enjoyable community that embraced new members, not bothering to worry about their background (thank the light).

"I wonder.....what would happen if you tried to reflect my Susano'o?"

Jason asked Jaxus out of curiosity, Jason pictured his fist just bouncing off, or maybe it would bounce back? It would be interesting to find out, not to say that Jason would use that spell on Jaxus. Maybe it would like, teleport through or something. It'd be interesting to find out, to say the least.

"Any way, you said you were interested in Blue Pegasus right?'

Jason quickly changed the subject, last thing he needed was a shouting mach about whose magic was better.

"I'd be willing to show you if you wanted to see it?"

Jason offered to Jaxus, he didn't see the harm in it, this was one of the few times he was up before 1, might as well use his time to show a possible ally around. Jason waited for Jaxus to respond, the guy was a little awkward but he was easy enough to talk to, Jason enjoyed watching him and the bird interact, he found it amusing. Jason wondered if Jaxus would really join Blue Pegasus, it'd be cool if he did, he was a good fighter, not that Bp was a fighting guild, but strong members never hurt anybody.

"Eheh.~ That'd be easy enough.~ Count me in.~" Jaxus gave Jason a confident thumbs up, a wide, cheeky grin on his face as his eyes slowly collapsed back into their natural, bright emerald coloration. Though, as Jason complimented his magic, his awkward side revealed itself once more, a slight blush appearing on his face, his grin taking a somewhat awkward twist as he nervously rubbed the back of his neck. "Eheh.~ Ya' really think so...?~" Though, as Jason asked a question regarding how his magic would function on his technique, a confused, puzzled look crossed Jaxus' face, bringing his right hand to rub his chin, closing his eyes as if he was deep in thought. "Su...sa...no'o...? OH!" Suddenly, Jaxus slammed his left fight into his right palm, making the mental connection.

"Urk..rh..." Suddenly, a pained expression crossed his face, suddenly gripping his hand in a pained manner. "AIIIIEEE!" The pained yelp finally escaped his mouth, and as he had forgotten the events of last night, he had slammed the palm which Jason had axe kicked previously, sending ripples of pain down the sensitive nerves. "Caaaaaaw..." Persies let out what could only be guessed as the equivalent to a sigh, shaking her head left to right ever so gently. //Idiot...// "OI! How bout' some compassion, ey, Persies?!" THWACK! "OW!" Jaxus recoiled the moment he turned to his bird, gently rubbing his nose in response to the thwack his received from her beak, sighing gently. "Anyway!~ Susano'o' is that really cool, smashy thing you made, right?~" Jaxus' vague terms of Susano'o may have came out as comical, or annoying, depending on personal perspective.

"Dunno!~" Jaxus said with an innocent, childish laugh as he tucked both of his palms behind his neck in a casual manner, giving Jason a stupidly wide grin. "It's alot harder to reflect someone else's light magic, like...think tryna' make a rushin' river flow the other way round'.~ Eheheh.~" Jaxus attempted to give the best analogy he could to describe his magic. Controlling natural light was one thing, but magical light was governed by it's magic power. In other words, if he wanted to control spells formed from light, he would need far more control over his magic, as well as raw power to overcome the natural "flow" of the spell. Surprisingly, he was fairly humble about the magic's limitations, admitting to them forthright.

"Aie!" As Jason brought up the subject of Blue Pegasus, Jaxus' arms remained casually upon the back of his neck, elbows outstretched as he gave Jason a nod, seemingly his way of accepting Jason's offer to show him the guild. "Well, I mean, I've kinda' been thinkin' bout' joining a guild for while now, honestly. My old man used to be a mage there, so I was kinda' wonderin' bout what made it so cool.~ Eheh.~" Jaxus chuckled for a moment as he said this, and while it may have come off as abit insulting, his innocent expression and up-beat tone confirmed he meant it in a completely earnest, curious way. "But...uh..." Jaxus turned to the nearby window, glancing over to his reflection as something seemed to galvanize his nerves once again. Like earlier, dried blood coated his face, hands, and clothes, causing his right hand to rise and grip his earlobe with his index finger and thumb, nervously rubbing it as he looked upon his reflection. "...T-This...probably won't make a good first impression..." No matter how amiable the guild was, walking in there looking like he just killed someone probably wouldn't do him any favors.
