Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Rhevas would sigh at Ranth’s endless worries. He could have swore that the man had turned into a mother. For a moment, it was all about not getting lost and them being underway to a house-arrest, next thing, he was telling him off from getting into trouble or killing someone. Was it really that hard for him to trust Rhevas at all?

He paused. Sometimes Rhevas would not even trust himself with certain issues for he knew he could act according to a prior principle called ‘let justice be done though heaven falls’, in which case would always (not missing one incident) get him into trouble. But it was like asking him not to be himself when that was who he truly was. Not a trouble-magnet, but a person who just does things that may not be what society appreciates. So how cane he even think of changing that part of him.

They stopped when a nun seemingly found them and Ranth had to act all diplomatic-like. Rhevas glanced at the blonde and observed his actions. He knew the man was keen to stay out of trouble, but the words they were spitting out were too fast for his brain to recognize comprehensibly and within context. Damn Fiorean speech for its weird syntax!

He thought they were merely bickering about something trivial, but then he saw that the woman had then pulled out both her guns. Immediately, Rhevas sensed the delight in this situation and a bit of worry for Ranth. He may be a peacemaker but he was also too easy to fool sometimes. So he quickly pulled Ranth back, a swift power surge left his body and the bullets from the nun’s guns would each be deflected by each bladed wing that belonged to Raziel. The sudden appearance of one his demons was sight to behold, a glowing entity of humanoid shape with blades for wings and overly protective of Rhevas’s welfare. Bullets were a definite no.

Sarcasm. Because beating the shit out of people is illegal.

Ranth hadn't realised it until the moment that Rhevas intervened to block their oddly dressed assailants attack, but he somehow knew that he would and so besides having to take a step to the side thanks to being pushed by the man as he stepped out to meet the attack head on he made no other sign of defending himself. Whilst this would come across as arrogant and conceited, Ranth didn't really care. But he did have some manners and they dictated that it was only polite to respond in kind when challenged- especially when it seemed that this uppity woman was looking down on them and Ranth hadn't gone through hell to become a B ranked Grimoire Heart wizard to be called a 'boy' by a gypsy living in the woods.

Spreading his hands in an imperious gesture, the air around Ranth burst to life as a deep red aura surrounded him and he felt his physical prowess increase drastically as Seturno's technique gave him a potent boost in strength. orangered]"Well if it's a fight you want, then it'd be rude to refuse", Ranth said before leaping into the air and soaring over the top of Rhevas's demon. At first this might seem to be just an astounding jump, but it would become apparent that Ranth was in fact flying as if the woman shot at him, he would demonstrate incredible maneuverability as he rapidly closed the distance between them and deliver a powerful punch straight at the centre of the woman's body.

Ranth had zero reservations about fighting seriously against a woman and that went double for women wielding a pair of guns that she'd already demonstrated a willingness to use on him. Regardless of the success of the first hit, Ranth was committed now and possessed of a body that was able to ignore the pain of small arms fire for the sake of landing a blow of his own, he continued to attack with both his hands and feet, all the while remaining in midair to allow him maximum maneuverability and sue of his limbs to attack.

Nimble as she was, the woman would quickly realise that if she didn't want to end up looking foolish- not to mention hurt- then she wasn't able to afford the luxury of playing around with Ranth while he had Seturno's technique active as it also granted him resistance to spells of both the fire and dark persuasion.

As the two fought Jeanne, Syeena and Cereza emerged from the cathedral. They looked to find Jeanne picking a fight with the two boys and it was almost comical considering how they were. Jeanne saw as her bullets near the ground were deflected by the strange shield being Rayth and finally Ranth's buff power. He used it to soar and try to attack himself.

Jeanne backed up but still fired a barrage of bullets, all of which were aimed to stun and frighten-- not kill. She was just playing with them-- and it got more heated when Cereza got into the game. "Hmm... so some tresspasers. I hope you don't mind if I steal some of your fun, Jeanne." Cereza said, walking forward in her tight black outfit. Jeanne turned her shoulder and smirked.

"SUNDENNA!" Cereza called out in Enochian-- the demonic language Rhevas knew! After a spin and dance, she made a pose-- causing her black outfit to suddenly unfurl-- as if made of hair. The hair coiled around her, leaving her barely naked, the moving strands discretely covering parts of her body as the mass of darkness went into the ground!

Suddenly, the ground was died black and strands of silky shadows erupted and ensnared the two Grimore Heart mages. They were soon tied up and unable to move. They could struggle but they wouldn't break free as Cereza gave them a seductive look. "Perverts like you deserve to be punished. Don't you think?" she teased, trying to get a scare out of them.

"Wait stop!" Syeena called out, causing the two witches to pause and turn to her. "They aren't enemies. They are from my guild!" she argued.

Cereza's eyes lightened a bit, realizing they were both mistaken-- and partly eager to have some action as well. With that, Cereza immediately released her 'summon'. The hair-like tendrils vanished from around Ranth and Raythe, vanishing back into the ground. As it did, Cereza's black suit was restored, ending their look at her half-naked form :P

"You know these two?" Jeanne said, knowing Syeena as well. She then slowly withdrew her guns, causing them to vanish behind her.

Syeena slowly strolled over to them, seeing the two fellow mages she knew. "Yes. Rhevas I know is from my guild." Then she turned to Ranth, someone she knew well and only responded with a smug smirk and a hand on her hip. "Oh and him? Yeah I know him.... unfortunately. He's cool-- and he IS a pervert."

The meowish-chuckle of Hex soon came to play as the black cat came fluttering in around them, and hovered above Ranth. "Oh yeah, he really is a pervert. Go ahead. Turn him into swiss cheese. Tee hee." Hex teased, fluttering out of arms length of Ranth in case he tried to grab her.

A sigh escaped Jeanne as she observed them all . "Still, you can afford to show some manners," she said, then turned to Syeena. "Always a pleasure to see you too, darling," she said with a genuine smile.

"HI Aunt Jeanne," Syeena replied, hugging her as well.

Ranth had disappointingly little success with his attack as the woman skirted backwards and shot at him, but of the bullets that hit him none of them seemed to slow him, much less hurt him. Unfortunately, their fight would come to an end before it could properly begin as Ranth heard a the voice of a new and unfamiliar woman and before he knew what was happening, he found himself firmly restrained by tendrils of shadow which were without question the work of his current opponents companion.

Unable to pull free even with his considerably bolstered brute strength courtesy of Seturno's technique, Ranth quickly realised that these women were more of a threat than he'd given them credit for and that meant he was going to have to take this seriously before things got out of hand. Concentrating his magic, Ranth would be surrounded by a fiery purple aura as he prepared his newest and perhaps most powerful technique. He'd have to be careful to adjust the area of effect lest he kill Rhevas by mistake as well as the two women, Ranth was just about to unleash his trump card when a familiar voice stopped him in his tracks.

"Syeena?" he asked, blinkling in surprise and letting the technique he'd been about to cast fade away and the aura that had surrounded him faded away. Apparently the women were just as surprised about Syeena's intervention as Ranth was, but he quickly found himself being released- albeit without apology- and he turned to face her with a mixture of bemusement and curiosity. Especially when she referred to one of the women as her aunt.

"Nice to see you too", Ranth said dryly in response to both Syeena and hex taking the opportunity to mock him, although he was more surprised to find that she'd met Rhevas before. He thought he'd have heard about it, if only because everywhere Rhevas went, disaster of gargantuan scale always seemed to follow. "So what's going on here? Family reunion?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

Rhevas really didn’t like having to be pushed to fight a woman. And hated women who were too pushy especially with fights. Where is the delicacy in that? So when Ranth took it upon himself to take on the lead to engage the enemy, Rhevas decided that he would just be the shield this time around.

However, that sort of changed when the sudden appearance of new faces brought about a familiar language that Rhevas could not deny. He began to observe and when silky black shadows appeared to ensnare both him and Ranth, Rhevas grew serious. He had to abandon the gentleman act and would have to strike a woman this time around. He didn’t like those who dared to harm his friends. But Ranth may have beaten him to it when the other had pulled off a strange technique of his that made a strange aura radiate off his entire body.

“Oy,” Rhevas called out to him as if to warn the other.

But before he could think up of doing something about their situation, Syeena had appeared to try and clear things out for them. And Rhevas could only raise an eyebrow at her words before sneering at Ranth’s direction. “She know youz well.”

But that aside, he was quite interested that the woman from earlier had spoken in demon tongue and while her power seemed credible, he wasn’t at all fazed by it. He had seen far worse from demons and humans alike, and he had long been trained to be observant about it. Thus, with a bit of a risk for his own identity while also proving curious about the current situation, he couldn’t help but speak in demon tongue as well, “Kag anong ginahimu mo diri? Hindi ka man siguro karaniwan nga tawo, ano?” (What are you doing here? You don’t seem like a normal human, am I right?)

There was some confusion between the Grimore Heart mages. Syeena just looked down at them with a smug smirk on her face as she waved one of her cards. To answer Rhevas' question-- "Well I wouldn't go that far. We are witches after all. My aunts here specialize in demonic arts. And yes, smartass," she said to Ranth in her all too familiar sarcastic attitude. "This is my family. We are all part of the same coven."

At this point, both witches removed their weapons and relaxed. Of course the boys were any cause for anxiety among the clan, but they were still no threat to them. since they were in fact members of grimore heart, they had no reason to harm them or anger their ties to the guild. "Sorry about that. Still, I feel like i want to give you boys a spanking for stalking some girls," Jeanne said.

"Typical Ranth. You really are a pervert," The black flying cat chuckled in a meowing tone. If of course Ranth tried to swat at her, she would flutter out of arm's reach. The cat loved to torment some of her friend's guildmates.

Syeena answered their questions as beast as she could. "Well... they aren't really my aunts. They are more family friends, as close as sisters. But I grew up with them. They taught me alot about magic." she explained, exchanging a smile at them.

Placing a hand on her hip, Cereza looked over them. "So what should we do with them? I suppose if they are your friends, we should invite them inside?" she said.

Jeanne groaned. "Men in the cathedral? Oh this should go well, sister," she seemed upset about the idea.

Men were not exactly super welcomed-- only because majority never understood them. There were 'exceptions' of men who came into the cathedral but only rare occasions. It was just under the misunderstanding about witches, darkness and all the stuff that resulted in things like 'witch hunts'. Rhevas and Ranth would have to convince them that they wouldn't be a threat to them or their ways.

It took a good long moment before Rhevas could actually recognize the girl. Well, it helped a lot when the cat next to her began to speak and so everything he had remembered about their previous exploits returned to him. Of course, who wouldn’t be able to remember the LARPing adventures? Rhevas grinned and retreated from the assault. A fellow guild mate was not someone to fight with. His loyalty was genuine and he hoped Ranth was as well. Though he did agree when the girl supposedly called the other as a perv.

When an invitation was called for, Rhevas glanced at Ranth, wondering if the other would accept it. Then, he looked back to Syeena and her cat and approached her, putting down his weapon to make sure he wouldn’t look like a threat. He kept a long steady gaze at Hex, remembering the events of that mission with the LARPers. Now that he thought about it, the cat was more of a distraction in their team back.

Then he would look at the two older women and he could tell that they were quite powerful. Whatever covenant there was in this old church, it was certainly something of great mystery if they were adamant to let them in. He could almost tell that they were either looking down on them or they were simply aware that they shouldn’t even be there. Yet, Syeena was generous enough to invite them in.

“Ayer Rhevas Rojo Vel Witcher,” he said to the women, hoping it would ease their uncertainties. Knowing another’s identity was also the first step to knowing if they were threats or not. Hopefully, he could get his point across that he meant no harm to those his guild members trusted.

(NOte: At this point, Fafnir has dropped out of the arc. We will continue without him. Also Sin, for lack of confusion, could you write basic language of the dialog in brackets? (?????) so I can respond well. The umbra witches speak the same language)

With all hostilities dropped, the two Umbra Witches allowed Rhevas to get up and soon welcomed. They were a little surprised by his use of language. "Oh, he speaks Enochian hmm? That sure is a rarity among non-witches," Bayonetta/Cereza said, glancing to Jeanne and Syeena. "Little one, do you know him well?"

Syeena shrugged her shoulders. "Not really. I met him once on a mission but he was rather quiet and alone. Not exactly a social type, but he seems decent," she replied.

Hex hovered over Rhevas with a judgmental look. "I say get the big scary demon back and let him chomp on him. He doesn't like cats. " the sassy cat teased.

After a small laugh with the sassy black cat Exceed, they made their way into the cathedral. Syeena turned to Rhevas, and though her speaking of the language was bad she hoped she could understand him. "Rhevas, what are you doing here?" Syeena asked, curious how he even knew about the church. Perhaps he was just lucky, or unlucky considering the scare Jeanne and Bayonetta did upon them.

Both ladies waited as well, wanting to hear more about the young man. They were curious how he could speak the language of demons and angels. They used those words for incantations and to understand the language of their enemies, but never thought they met a human who spoke it far better than common tongue.

Rhevas felt like a food would feel. The scrutinizing gaze from the two Umbra Witches were quite fascinating but also a bit heavy to the air. He felt like he was really being given much of a thought, and he may not really like that. How could he be effective if he was seen? Such were the principles of a good thief and killer. But although he was none of those, he still preferred to be ignored so he could go about his business.

In any case, he would follow them inside the church, kept his eyes about him though with his field of vision, he was carefully assessing and understanding the church they were in. Quite the difference of architecture was present when he thought about churches of his country. Not that Enca had witch-like churches, but still, there had to something about these structures that always made them look so monolithic and stern. Then he glared at the cat again before prying his eyes from Hex.

“Gusto mo yatang mapritong kuring,” (You look like you want to be deep-fried cat.) said Rhevas as he kept a still and long gaze at the cat, not exactly realizing he had suddenly slipped into a more demonic language along the way. Perhaps it was because he felt a little strange and a bit at home within the church. Maybe something along the lines of magical familiarity.

He then looked over to Syeena and replied, “Trying not get trouble.” Which was true. He was on house arrest after getting in trouble last time he was back in the guild, though perhaps escaping from his babysitter, Ranth, he now had free time. “Ah, red woman and street trouble, led Ayer (me) here if daz wat youz mean.” He then paused and the looked around again before he attempted a poorly thought out joke, “Hindi naman ata ako masusunog kapag pumasok ano?” (I won’t burn if I enter, right?)

ALl the witches knew his language clearly, all except Hex who didn't know it. Syeena just giggled a bit at the tone. The cat turned to Syeena, curious as to why she laughed. "What?! WHat did he say?" she asked, her whiskers wiggling in irritation.

SHe stopped laughing and tried to keep a straight face. "Oh, really its nothing..." she said, a smile still on her face a little bit.

He explained why he was following them and how he had some trouble with the guild. SYeena didn't have a problem with him, all except the use of his dislike for Hex. In her opinion-- he was hot as hell. She had a bit of crush on him all except for his general personality. But of course, if he noticed her in that light remained to be seen.

He also was worried about the cathedral and she just shook her head. "Not that kind of chathedral. Come on, don't be a scardy cat," she said, reaching for him and gently tugging him aong. "The cathedral is meant to be tribute to the Fates. Don't worry, we are not nuns. We are witches. The Cathedral is just convient front. " she explained.

They were soon inside, and stepped into the new section of the cathedral, except the stain glass display where sunlight shined to reveal three goddess statues in the center of the room, along with two more goddess statues on the left and right sections. The truth was the cathedral was much bigger than it appeared from the outside, going several floors as well as underground. The gothic elegance of the place was appealing to dark mages, that was for sure.

"Shame we don't have any guess rooms-- but this is probably the first time a man has set foot in the Umbra Witches home. Perhaps he would be comfortable in the dungeon?" Jeanne teased a little bit.

He did indeed set into an organization compossed of all women after all.
