Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Arc link

Much changed for Syeena since she been here last. She joined Grimore Heart. Traveled around a bit. She even got stronger at her magic. With her trusty feline companion and familiar on her shoulder, she returned home.

Poinsettia, the city of flowers, trees and natural beauty. Out of all the cities, it was one that held great natural beauty. The entire town was infused with the natural landscape of trees and plants. This was Syeena's home town. One would of thought it was odd for someone allied with Grimore heart to be from a town so close to Blue Pegasus, the light guild. But there was another reason why she lived in Poinsettia for such a time.

After all her trials and missions, she felt she could pay her family a visit. Back at the cathedrial where she was raised.

Unafraid, Syeena walked down the street in her usual attire. In reality, there were many people around Poisenttia that were dressed in sorcerer and sorceress capes and cowels. They wouldn't notice her as she was now, wearing her robe, skirt, and such. The Grimore Heart Tattoo on her thigh-- maybe that would cause attention but she kept her footing quick and moved along.

Even if someone did notice, she would be gone before they could get a better look at her legs.

And on her shoulder, was her faithful friend and familiar, the black Exceed cat Hex. The cat wore a witch's hat and paw gloves with claws at the end. An unique cat indeed. "Nice call going to visit home after the holiday craziness," Hex commented, partly relived that Christmas was over and all the jazz from the holidays. The cat was a pretty big scrooge during that time.

Still, while Syeena was happy to be in her home town, she had many reasons to return. One of them-- to see her family. Thing was, her family was no traditional family. As she and Hex strolled down the less busy part of town, little did Syeena know that her guildmates would be nearby.

Rhevas had arrived at Poinsettia as planned. He was hoping to find a quick break there, having been there before and somehow earning through a quick job. Though perhaps he would not be allowed to do the same thing again for killing a man was not a very good thing to do. He wouldn’t have to either if the man had not only proven himself to be a jerk during the encounter. Perhaps there was justice in that humble request of the child-slaves that were hoping to be freed. Not that it mattered if they were slaves or not; he simply thought the trader cruel and unjust with the way he treated them, so he cut his head off. And that was during the last time he was there.

This time around, he hoped to find himself a more relaxing sort of encounter. Perhaps to find that famous inn and have a good drink. His demons have always been nagging at him to try and act more adult-like, to have a few beers and all. But no, he always found such drinks useless as it either increased his acidity production which results to tummy pains, or that it could render him a fool and he would be mugged for all he cared. And cleaning up the mess afterwards was both, figuratively and literally a pain. And yet, he was willing to oblige their musings and went for that famous inn with the best beers.

Along the way, he managed to find a woman who seemed rather familiar. He stopped along the streets as he glanced back to find a rather interesting looking woman with a rather pointed hat and cloak. He grinned at the thought that it could be an interesting encountering that he was looking for, but his stomach suddenly began to grumble. His mind returned to the priority at hand and he began to march down the streets again.

Of course, he wasn’t alone in this endeavor. He happened to have been traveling with a certain someone but managed to lose him due to his rather problematic curiosity. No, he did not get himself lost, he was simply busy exploring. And he’d rather not use his Ravagers Demons to track down that blonde again, only to be cornered and tortured into learning the Fiorean language properly. He shrugged just at the thought of it. He was too old to be taught like a child.

Sarcasm. Because beating the shit out of people is illegal.

Ranth stood in the midst of the bustling city streets of Poinsettia and radiating an aura of frustration so fierce that even the most pressed for time businessmen gave him a wide berth. Honestly, it was bad enough that he felt as though he'd been assigned as a glorified babysitter. But it was even worse that the person he was meant to be keeping out of trouble vanished into thin air. Most of the time Rhevas could be considered something of a friend, but at times like this the former foreigner and fellow member of Grimoire Heart would be lucky if Ranth didn't strangle him with his bare hands when he found the wayward mage.

Knowing the man better than he knew himself, Ranth had little doubt that the man had been distracted by one of two things: Food or novelty. The man had an attention span the length and width of a torn piece of scrap paper and had a known history for forgetting everything else when faced with shiny trinkets, street performances or anything else that was even vaguely out of the ordinary. He was equally as well known for his inability to concentrate on anything but finding food once his stomach started the growl. Yep, Ranth felt like he was the man's keeper at times, but he couldn't waste time grumbling about it while Rhevas was out there causing who knew what kind of trouble. Trouble that Ranth would inevitably have to deal with.

After noticing Rhevas had slipped away, Ranth had retraced his steps until he'd caught the unmistakable sense of food- which was a solid hint as to which of Rhevas's two incorrigible habits had caused his sudden absence. Food. From there it was simply a matter of following his nose to find the man. In his haste to find and punish his guild mate for causing him such inconvenience, he passed the very same woman that Rhevas had almost been distracted from his quest for food by without a second glance. Not that he knew, but he'd nearly caught up to Rhevas and it would be a matter of seconds before Ranth spotted him through the crowd.

Seriously, when Ranth got back to the guild hall he'd be having a word to his superiors about assigning someone else to keeping Rhevas out of trouble once in a while. It was a stressful and often fruitless task that had become an unfortunate necessity after an equally unfortunate incident with a slave trader a week earlier. Nobody cared about the slave trader, but it had drawn all sorts of unwanted attention having one of their members running around killing people on a whim- no matter how unsavory they may have been. He needed to learn restraint, but so far that fact didn't seem to be sinking in.

At this point, Syeena and Hex journeyed through the shadowy alleyway and into a part of town which was the oldest part of Poinsettia. It was stone buildings where trees had overgrew around it. It was as if you walked through the city and suddenly found yourself lost in an enchanted wood. In truth, it was just the more rural part of town. Nature mages came here to cultivate the plant life and some were even more willing to come here for religious reasons.

Though unaware of it, Syeena was not concerned if others from her guild was there. She had no clue to know they were in town as well. "You think the guild will mind you just dropping out and going on your own. Grimore Heart seems to be picky about what you do. " Hex warned, knowing they left suddenly to return home.

Syeena just brushed a hand through her long black hair as they walked through a grove of tree-buildings and soon entered a shaded area of the city. "I didn't join Grimore Heart to be their bitch, in every sense of the word. They won't complain if I am gone for a bit. Besides, I never did tell my aunts how it all went. They encouraged me to join Grimore Heart" she explained.

After getting through the mass of leaves and trees, they soon discovered their destination. Inside a shaded grove was a large gothic style cathedral. Sunlight shined upon it but with all the branches and trees it was obscured from sight. Gothic design was there, but there were also sacred feminine and even styles of Celtic design mixed into the architecture. As the two approached the church down the path, worn away by time and nature, they could see the windows of the stain glass, glistening.

"Home sweet home," Hex said with a smile as she tilted her cute witch's hat.

They soon reached the doors of the cathedral. As Syeena touched it, there was a sudden magic circle before the doors that glowed-- and then opened up slowly for her. Syeena did in fact smile as she looked inside. "I do miss this place," she replied and stepped inside.

As she would enter, it looked like a regular church. Rows of seats, holy-like alter near the front and stained glass with lights shining in. However, someone stood out. Someone was there. A mysterious nun praying at the center. It was a quaint scene, almost too innocent to trust.

"Weclome dear child. Have you come to pray?" the woman asked. "Or to attone for a sin?"

Syeena and Hex looked at the woman, her back to them. Dressed fully as the witch she was ,Syeena scoffed at the woman's words. "I don't think we pray to the same gods, do we? Besides, I'm got nothing to be ashamed of,"

Syeena drew her magic cards, and held them ready. She clearly didn't take kindly to the nun.

Rhevas was nearing the inn that held the undisputed title of brewing the best draft beer in town. And if beer was their best, so was their food. A good drink must always come with good food and he could already imagine the sumptuous dishes that the innkeeper was cooking. Perhaps a freshly baked turducken in caramelized apple gravy, or a large slab of juicy red meat steak, with the meat tenderly prepared and seasoned that they would easily fall off from the bone without much resistance, red in the center with blood; medium rare like he likes them. Whatever it was, a heavy menu set made for kings or the large serving type for workers and traders, as long as it didn’t have to contain vegetables, Rhevas wouldn’t have a problem with it.

But the crowd had grown thick as lunchtime was near. People were busy about either going back home or finding their own little place of savory things to eat. They pushed against each other and there were two occasions that Rhevas got annoyed, almost to the point of just pushing his way through. Perhaps it was fate because it stalled him long enough for the blond mage to find him. And he didn’t have to turn around to notice him either. He could smell the man a hundred meters away, his magic always had that distinctive scent that at first intrigued Rhevas, but after learning a thing or two about it, he had known better to give Ranth his due respect.

He shrugged; his expression was enough to tell an observer that his spirits had been crushed. He was that close to reaching his meal and experiencing something new, but the guild’s dog caught on. He didn’t like it either, that Ranth had been assigned to him. He thought he would be free. Instead, he wasn’t that trusted just yet– which was justified considering he brought nothing but trouble lately– but he wished he could just go on his own for a bit. But no, he needed someone to look after him until he was well adjusted it seemed. Not that he didn’t like the other’s presence– he did– but sometimes, he could just be an ass, he learned.

“Nagrerebelde ka ba? Ano to? Nagbibinata ka palang? Hahahahaha!” his demons laughed in his head. (Feeling rebellious already? What’s this? Have you just reached puberty to act like this? Hahahaha!)

And his demons weren’t helping either since they did agree with him needing supervision. At least, they sort of accepted Ranth for a bit.

He shrugged again as he turned to face the blond mage who was a meter behind him. He did his best ‘I’m seriously angry so just piss off’ face, but it was hard to conceal the growling stomach. Instead, he ended up slapping himself silly and sighing defeatedly. “Lez get food,” he said, “No lessons! Youz horrible at it. Nottin the mood either.”

Ranth spotted Rhevas through the crowd and the archive made a beeline for his troublesome burden like a danger beast sought a lost traveler in the desert. As he came close enough to reach out and tap the man on the shoulder, Rhevas saved him the trouble bu turning around and spotting him. Ranth a flash of annoyance in the man's eyes and Ranth nearly growled with irritation. If Rhevas thought that being kept on a metaphorical leash was a nuisance, he should try being the one tasked with holding that leash and see how much more 'fun' it was.

"No lessons, I've had enough of your antics for one day", Ranth said abruptly and simply seized Rhevas by the ear as quick as a striking snake and proceeded to drag the man unceremoniously through the streets towards where they were supposed to be spending their free time until they were cleared to leave. Or in other words, they were on house arrest until the guild finished cleaning up the mess Rhevas had made. They hadn't made it very far however when Ranth was forced to stop and release his grip on Rhevas's ear- which was now bright red and probably uncomfortably hot- due to a commotion in the street.

The woman that Rhevas had spotted earlier had been knocked over by a careless passerby and now a one sided argument had started as the man had been carrying something- the contents of which were now scattered about the street and with every passing second, was either stolen, stepped on or otherwise ruined by the general filth that covered any of the Fioran cities busy streets. "Watch where you're going witch", the man snarled as he loomed over the woman, who didn't look to be particularly distressed but nor did she look like she was going to defend herself either as the man threw what little he had left of whatever foodstuffs he'd been carrying at her in his rage.

"Trouble follows you wherever you go, you know that?" Ranth sighed and shook his head with halfhearted exasperation. yet he made no move to intervene in this scene either. He wasn't in the habit of sticking his nose where it didn't belong, but he knew that Rhevas did and he placed a restraining hand on the man's shoulder. "Stay out of it Rhevas or I promise you won't be eating anything for a week", Ranth warned him in a tone that Rhevas should know by now was not an idle threat.

(I can work with this angle :P)

Meanwhile...

As Ranth and Rhevas were talking/arguing, and further more the brute of a man had knocked over the woman and called her a witch. She was just a simple girl in black, with no real power or anything. Just a common girl as the man lost his temper and was about to hit her--.

Ka-click! The sound of a gun could be heard being set and the man froze. That part of the street drew quiet as they saw the man about to hit the helpless citizen, but more so to the woman who was now holding a gun to his head. "Now, that's no way to treat a lady," a mysterious woman in red with white hair said, pointing one of her guns at him. Her guns were adorn with magic symbols and cat-'ornaments' hanging off the handles. Oddly, she also had guns on the heels of her shoes. "You want to throw that again, or do you want to see what a REAL witch can do?"

Her threat was clear and the stupid man looked over his shoulder to see the woman. He obviously didn't like people like her, but with a quiet tongue, he stopped. He said nothing more and walked away as the woman got back up and gave a quick bow to the woman.

It seemed a real witch wasn't your classic black hat but someone hot and with guns. It would be more than enough to peek Ranth and Rheva's interests as she soon made her way through the street-- eventually heading towards the cathedral where Syeena would be. Why, they wouldn't know, or know that their mutual friend would be there.

There was always the confusion of who Rhevas really was. At times, he was just a cold blooded killer who didn’t mind having to dirty his hands for what he believed in. In fact, in the not so distant past, he had thought about killing this very person who was dragging him by the ear. Oh the humiliation he was undergoing at that very moment being treated like a kid in front of so many people! He ought to bring out his sword and cut the man’s hand off! Yet, he dealt with it quietly, glared at the random few that looked at his way and probably gossiping at how ridiculous he looked like at that very moment. He flipped a hand at one point only to stop when he was finally let go.

It was long before they would find themselves in the middle of the street where something was happening and he didn’t particularly liked it. This, his second persona, was about a man who didn’t like the way others were cruelly treated. Sure, he could torture his prey for all he cared, but he had grown a dislike for those who would do so to others, especially those who had nothing to fight back with. Perhaps it was a nod to his ugly past of torture, or perhaps it was just him trying to be a saint at times. Whatever it was, he was quick to place his hand by the hilt of his folded cromarian sword, only to be stopped when Ranth had grabbed his said swordarm before it could draw the sword out.

The two shared a moment of silence, eyes doing all their argument. Ranth was serious, he could tell. The spark in the scent of his magic was always amusing when he was angry, but they were also tense when the other was annoyed. And that Ranth that was close enough to hit him at that very moment was not a happy one. Had he gone too far recently? Was this capital punishment? He made a snarl as he glanced at the scene before them and shoved off Ranth’s hand from his. He didn’t move to butt in, though, and remained standing just as the other said. “Food does not tame, but a starved demon youz regret.” And he meant it. He may not have mentioned it to other before, but he had once gone berserk at the call of self-preservation. Cleaning after a mess of that caliber may end up being far worse than what he was currently punished for, so he’d rather not get kicked by his own guild.

Still, as he tried to look away, he found it hard. It was like turning back on someone; turning his back on his past self.

A ringing sound of a bullet suddenly catches his attention and Rhevas looks over as a strange-looking woman had silenced the troublemaker. He caught on a little of what was said and he was quite surprised. Witches. He had heard of them before, but perhaps different countries had different meanings. After all, in Enca, he was the witcher and that meant a hell lot different from what a normal witch was. By blood, he was a descendant of a man of great calamity, a so called “Witcher”, and the ‘Rojo’ in his name was proof that he was the chosen in his family to carry on the title of a great calamity. Rojo, as in red, like blood that spills into the river and dyes everything in death’s own color.

So, who exactly was that woman? And what was this country’s witch for? Who decides they were one? So many question, his hunger was momentarily sated as he took a step forward, only to pause and look back to Ranth. “Iz a clear invitation, no?” he said, trying to point out the woman’s rather flashy entrance and exit, “Sides... youz probably still angry at me. Five days of nottin do. Ayer won’t tell the guild if youz don’t. Sooooo no one can say we left the house.”

Lastly, his third persona, one of an overly curious child who didn’t like authority and boundaries. Given the right circumstances, he can be very pushy or subtle. But at the moment, he was willing to push all of Ranth’s buttons and see just how far he could truly be borderless.

Sarcasm. Because beating the shit out of people is illegal.

Quite the scene had unfolded before Ranth's eyes as a mysterious (albeit flashy) woman dressed in a bizarre red outfit that left nothing to the imagination and incredibly long steel colored hair. She could have been twenty or she could have been forty for all Ranth knew, but what was obvious to everyone was that she meant business and the gun she held to her compatriots assailants head was ample proof of that. Being a mere man with no desire to risk getting hurt- or worse- the man made a swift departure.

Sighing as Rhevas expressed thinly veiled interest in finding out more about the women who were leaving together, Ranth shrugged helplessly. "Alright, let's go", he conceded as they began to follow the pair at a leisurely pace. The woman's tall figure and outrageous outfit made losing her in the crowd literally impossible. Ranth just hoped that whatever trouble Rhevas got into (because he was going to get in trouble. He always did) it wouldn't be the disastrous kind. Although he knew that was asking for a lot where his guild mate was concerned.

"Just... don't break anything or kill anyone", Ranth said wearily as they moved beyond the edge of the town and soon came to a building with a distinctly religious feel to it. It shared many features of a typical church, yet at the same time there was nothing familiar about it. This was of course the home of a witches coven- similar but not the same as a regular witch or wizard. It was also the home of a certain Grimoire Heart woman, but they wouldn't yet know that she was inside.

"You know, there are laws against stalking", the woman in red called over her shoulder as she sent her sister ahead of her and turned to face them with her arms folded across her chest. "Well to be fair, we weren't exactly hiding", Ranth replied with a shrug. he really hoped that simply by being here they weren't going to be drawn into another 'incident'. Dammit, he couldn't take Rhevas anywhere without everything going to hell.

Meanwhile back at the cathedral...

Syeena and Hex looked at the nun, as if awating something. Finally, the nun stepped forward and jumped high into the air! The white outfit she was wearing was suddenly torn away as she was in mid air--- and soon a black one was replaced. As if her hair grew to replace it, and soon she landed in a new outfit. The woman was dressed in a sleek , tight body suit that acented her features nicely. The outfit was black and blue with a dark fringing near her arms that revealed star-shaped ornaments. Any man would be nose bleeding over her. Her noticable features were also the heels she wore-- attached to two guns behind them.

She landed on the ground, an imposing gesture in her stance as Syeena and Hex stood before her. "I can't help if I like to play dress up, now can I?" she replied to the two, a wink behind her glasses.

A smile appeared on Syeena as she then ran towards her. Syeena grabbed her and wrapped her arms around her, embracing the woman in black. Surprised, but not pulling away, the woman hugged her as well. "It's good to see you, Aunt Cereza. " Syeena said, glad to see her as she hugged her.

"Good to see you too, little one," Cereza said, a smile on her elegant face as well.

Having taken flight above them, Hex fluttered easily in the air. "What am I? Chopped Tuna?" Hex teased. She dove down and flew around them, trying to get Cereza's attention.

With a chuckle, Cereza stretched out an arm and caught in front of the cat, who reered back her wings to enter a hover once more. Once she was still, Cereza reached up and scratched Hex under the chin, a place she loved to be petted. "And good to see you too, kitty. I'm glad to see you both safe--"

*BANG!!*

They stopped their warm reunion as they heard the gunshots outside. Cereza, instead of surprised, rolled her eyes. "For gods sake, is Jeanne target praticing against the catherdal again," Cereza said. Curious, they began to make their way outside.

Outside, the woman the two Grimore Heart mages saw, named Jeanne, was addressing the boys who had followed her. It seemed that while Rhevas was rather to himself, Ranth was being a bit cocky. Jeanne just loved putting pushy men into their place. Jeanne reached behind her, as if she was going to seductively tussle her hair-- only to suddenly draw her two red guns!

"Hmm... well if that is the case, perhaps I should teach you naughty boys a lesson," she replied . With a click, she sent out a series of bullets!

The shots were not meant to kill. She aimed near their feet, intending to make them 'dance' and have them act foolish. She didn't want to kill anyone, not without a better reason than a few peeping toms. She would take pleasure in seeing how they would respond to her little 'love tap'.
