Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Rhonin soon realized by Jaxus' reaction that his rune eye was now glowing once more. Rhonin covered his eye a little in embarrassment, still seeing through his fingers to get a grasp of his surroundings. After getting over the initial surprise, Rhonin explained. "Archive Magic is a special type of magic that allows the user to perceive, comprehend, and recall magical spells and information that the caster witnesses. As such, a person can actually learn another person's spells and use them as their own. Its a powerful form of magic and it comes in many variations. This eye allows me the same ability, tied in to well-- a place where all that magic is recorded and stored. Its a long story... " Rhonin explained as best as he could.

"Anyway I appreciate if you dont mind me recording some of your magic for my collection. As I said, I learn new spells by observing others. It would be nice if I could have some of your powers-- with your permission of course." he explained further. "Anyway yeah... the games here are fun. I haven't played any yet. I been so busy working to construct the final things.

(Archive note: Eye technique 1/1 acquired)

"Heheh.~" Jaxus only chuckled lightly in response as Rhonin covered his eye, keeping his elbows casually outstretched to his sides, hands on the back of his neck as he casually strutted across the decorated streets. As Rhonin described archive magic, an oddly thoughtful expression appeared on the boy's face, tilting his head to look to the sky, his mouth shifting side to side as he attempted to process the information. So, he did intend to record his magic, just in a way Jaxus hadn't expected.

As Rhonin expressed his wish to record further spells, Jaxus only released a light chuckle in response. "Heheh.~ I'm kind of jealous, ya know?~" Redirecting his attention back to Rhonin and Tigger, a casual, friendly smile could be seen across his face. "But Christmas is all bout' sharing, after all.~" Suddenly, Jaxus pumped his right fist, offering the two the most cheesy, sparkling grin before his fist shifted into a confirmative thumbs up. "Just remember it took me seven years to get this stuff down, not everyone can be super talented like you, ya know.~" Jaxus nodded briefly to the two, a friendly smile on his face, saying his words with sincerity.

"OH!" Suddenly, Jaxus saw his next target within the games. An obstacle course, consisting of moving sandbags, balance logs, and a two story climb to the finish line. To further complicate things, the course was essentially four stories high. The top most one being the finish line, it linked up with a rock climbing wall, the base leading into a maze of mirrors, filled with moving sandbags. Opposite to that side, was a rope which dropped down to the base level. An agility course consisting of running, jumping, hopping, leaping, and swinging. To win, someone needed to go from the starting line, go through each floor, and reach the top in the shortest amount of time possible. "O-Oi! Rhonin? You help with constructin' this thing as well?" Jaxus asked, pointing to the obstacle course. "I think I got a good spell to show ya'.~ Eheh!~ Ya' mind?" Of course, Jaxus was asking if Rhonin would mind if he used the obstacle course as a medium to show him another one of his spells.

After all, what was magic without proper showmanship?

Rhonin felt embarrassed and sorry. Truth was his magic was not exactly under his control, as the Eye of Ansuz would activate almost on its own to view magic. Sometimes it felt like his own magic was using Rhonin more than he was using it. A price perhaps for using a "Lost Magic". "Well its why I asked if I could archive yoru magic. I do respect the amount of tiem and effort it took you to develop these powers, and in truth, the copied versions wont be the exact same as your level of power. So please, don't worry. I am not the kind of person to steap things. " Rhonin explained out of self consciousness.

The use of Jaxus' words of "Talent" made Rhonin really think on that. It was his talent that really made him valuable as a person, not much else. The use of that word struck a cord of him, causing Rhonin to have a sad look on his face. "Uh... yeah... talent," he said, realizing there was truth to Jaxus' words.

Tigger took concern that RHonin seemed sad but the moment didn't last long as Jaxus pointed out the obstacle course. It was meant for younger kids but you would see people older running through it just as well. This broke Rhonin from his inner thoughts and focused on Jaxus. "Um-- yeah sure, I'll take a look," Rhonin replied as he looked to see what his new friend would do next.

He still wanted to see if he could answer any question he had pertaining to Lamia Scale. Regardless he was a very nice person, and he wanted to get to know him better.

Jaxus cocked his head to the side in a confused manner as Rhonin explained his stance, finding a saddened look spreading across his face after Jaxus mentioned how much talent he held. "E-Eh?" Jaxus scratched his head momentarily, looking to Rhonin in confusion, thinking of what to say. "Well, course' you wouldn't steap things.~ You seem like a really cool guy, Rhonin.~" Jaxus offered a cheesy smile before giving Rhonin a firm thumbs up, directing his attention to him with a sincere, gentle expression on his face. "Just felt like statin' how hard it was to make this magic. Eheh.~ Anyway!" Jaxus chuckled innocently at this, really, he didn't expect anything malicious from Rhonin, but he sincerely wanted fame, and furthermore, his natural pride made him wish to emphasize how hard he had worked.

"Hold this, will ya' please? Your gonna' get a kick out of this.~ Eheh!~" Jaxus offered Rhonin his backpack ever so briefly, nodded afew times repeatedly before turning his attention to the obstacle course in front of him. Considering whatever was in there was important enough that he didn't want it to get damage, the fact he offered it to Rhonin so quickly showed how honest he was in saying he thought Rhonin was a good guy. Soon enough, he made his way past the line and to the start of the course, slowly walking up to the starting line, bending his knees as his eyes began to focus in front of him. "Ready...!" Jaxus waved the back of his hand to the one running the game and with a nod, he pulled a nearby lever.

BEEEEEEEEP! A deafening beep sounded through the game grounds, and the metal gate in front of Jaxus shot open wide, clearing the path for him to advance. "OI! THIS IS GONNA BE..." Kicking off with all his might, Jaxus sprinted forward with a childish smile on his face. "SO AWESOME!" In mid sprint, Jaxus leaped over the first pit below his feet, coming across a large, open pit with large logs sticking out of the ground. "Heheh.~" Soon enough, Jaxus bunny hopped, slid, and leaped from log to log, as if bouncing like a frog. "Heh, eas-WOAHWOAHWOAH!" Suddenly, Jaxus' body weight shifted to the side, causing his arms to flail about as he attempted to regain his balance. "W-WAAAAHH! ...Huh...?" Eyes closed, Jaxus slowly opened his eyes, finding he had stopped in mid motion as he flailing arms wedged himself inbetween the first log and another, nearby one, arms and legs on different logs respectively.

"Close one...Hah!" Bending his elbows slightly, Jaxus pushed against the log with all his might, shoving himself back to the log his feet were placed upon. "Gotta keep goin'!" Soon enough, the boy recovered and took down the trail of logs once again. Soon enough, he found the nearby logs fading away, the last set of them across a ten foot gap as he remained in mid sprint. "The hell...OH!" Soon enough, Jaxus spotted the nearby rope, leaping clear off the log and gripping it tightly as he swung around in a half circle motion. "YAHOO!" Feet contacting the logs across the course, Jaxus grinned happily as he found another rope close by, leading to the floor above.

"Let's go!" Leaping forward onto the rope, Jaxus began to shimmy up the line, yet, he obviously had abit of trouble. He wasn't exactly "weak," but raw physical strength wasn't his best area, so to speak. Yet and still, panting heavily, he made it to the second of the three levels, quickly swinging off to the platform as he made it to the mirror maze. "Uuuhhh...?" As soon as he got to the top, Jaxus stared at the obstacle in front of him. A mirror maze, not so bad. Moving obstacles, abit difficult. But both...? In front of him was dozens of mirror images, causing the few moving, sandbags that swung about to appear everywhere at once. "...Heh...Just gotta' get creative.~"

Popping off the group in a small, stationary pop, twitching as they landed showing just how eager Jaxus was to take this challenge. Suddenly, he popped forward, running straight into the mirror maze in front of him. THWACK! "OW!" In a thundering clap which echoed across the streets, Jaxus ran straight into one of the weighted bags head first, forcing him to go along for the ride as he tightly gripped onto the bag to prevent himself from being tossed to the ground. "O-OI!" Suddenly, Jaxus felt the weight of the bag shift to it's new direction, prompting him to shift his body weight in an attempt to get the bag he was holding onto to spin on axis. "YAHOO!" As the bag turned a full one eighty degrees, Jaxus kicked off of the weighted, punching bag like device, flinging himself further down the mirror maze's path.

"HAH!" THWACK! "OW! OI, OI, OI! KONO YAROU! WHAT THE HELL!?" Yep. Soon as he landed, the next bag in the set smacked him face first, leaving him in a similar situation as the last time, gripping onto the bag as he rode it's momentum down the correct path. After all, these bags were designed not to destroy the nearby mirrors, so logically, if Jaxus followed their paths, he would be finding more and more of the open path. Just like last time, Jaxus leaped from the bag further down the path, landing to his feet with a slide. "Heheh...Huh...? ...O-OI!" As Jaxus looked up, he found another weighted bag flying right at him. Fwoosh! "Woah!" Pressing his body against the nearby mirror and turning his center of mass to the side, the bag flew right past his, causing a breath of relief to sound from Jaxus. "Finally! Hehe-!" THWACK! "OW!" Soon as Jaxus kicked off, the bag smashed him in the back on the return, sending him sprawling out of the mirror maze and right into the open of the second story, right at the foot of the rock climbing wall.

"E-Eh...?" A mischievous grin spread upon Jaxus' face as he picked himself up from the floor, gazing to the summit, ever so close. "Eheh, showtime.~" Suddenly, the ground below Jaxus ignited into an explosion of bright light, leaving blackened scorch marks upon the platform as he propelled himself a full four meters into the air. "YOSHAAA!" Rocketing forward as he crossed half the distance in a mere moment, Jaxus gripped onto the wall rightly at the zenith of his rise, using his momentum to pull himself upwards and gain a head start on the rock wall. "EHEH! GOT IT!" Soon enough, Jaxus "leaped" from the edge of the rock wall, pulling himself to his feet upon the summit, turning around before striking a heroic pose, widening his stance and pressing two fingers into his forehead before sending his arm high into the air, raising two fingers to form the peace sign, nodding down to Rhonin and Tigger. BEEEEEEP! "We have a winner!" As the buzzer went off, the game host let out a bellowing call over the speakers, showing Jaxus' triumph over the obstacle course.

Techniques used.

Shaking RHonin out of his daze of doubt, as he had issues with what the guy said about being 'talented' he was soon returned to reality after he go shoved with he guy's bag. Being asked to hold it for a bit, RHonin nodded. "Um, yeah sure. No problem. " he said as he saw Jaxus go towards the obstacle course.

Rhonin and Tigger watched, and as RHonin's eyes glowed, Jaxus got into position. Once the gate opened and the siren went off, he took off running! Though he had some trouble with the obstacles that were in his way, he was persistent and continued to move through them with great eagerness. Though he kept his movements fast, it was not fast enough. That was until, he used his magic.

The Sunlight Spear.

WIth his words, he dashed and shot forward to evade one of the bags. He was soon clear of the course and once again proving he had a variety of tricks up his sleeve.

"Not bad," Tigger commented as he nodded in a 'tough guy' act, trying to maintain his tough cat persona.

"So, what are your plans ? What are you looking for in a guild? Rhonin asked him " Even if you didn't stick with Lamia Scale, what guild are you hoping to join?"
