Poinsettia. The city of beauty, nature and dreams. Though a bit out of her way, Syeena choose to come back here. It was not a big trip by train to reach the city. It was in fact her home town. The mysterious woman was presently dressed in her incognito attire. "The fool" or more commonly known to be her reporter disguise as she was Carly Carmine-- a rookie reporter and journalist for Sorcerer Weekly. The disguise definitely concealed her from many people who would be looking for her 'other persona'. For now it servered her purpose to get in without trouble . She just felt more secure as that right now in broad daylight. As she ventured through the tree-filled forest city of Poinsettia, she searched for the hang out she had learned to come to to feel more at home, far more than she did at the guildhall of Grimore Heart.

Beside her she was accompanied by a cute black cat. A strange black cat with black and violet fur on some parts of her ears and tail. She had wide orange eyes, strange claw gloves, tail ring and a mischievous face. Hex the cat, Syeena's loyal witch's familiar and Exceed cat. Oh and a small witch's hat she wore on her head, making her look very mystical.

Evening was soon to descend on the town, as the city lights of the trees, lamps and windows lit the streets, but soon Syeena reached the general destination of her trip. She was looking for a certain lounge she had vistit. A magical establishment that was known to disappear and appear in different locations-- run by a friend of hers. Her black market and magical contact.

The place was an evening lounge known as the Black Cat. It was more common for dark mages and the few neutral conscious types. Or in general people wanting a dark and jazzy atmosphere. A place of good taste. And no matter where Syeena went, it would always show up when she was looking for it. Whether it was to get away, or to buy goods from her friend.

"Couldn't we of just gone through the Acadia city? At least its in the same place all the time," the black cat said iwth a tired tone as she trailed behind Syeena.

Syeena didn't turn to talk to her friend, but was looking around. She knew the lounge usually popped up in a general place, and usually the same place. It was just a matter of spotting it. "I just needed a change of scenery from that bleak city. Besides, I like coming to my home town. I should visit Aunt Cereza and Jeanne, not to mention mother. " she said in interest.

After a bit of searching, she found it! Hidden down one of the darker streets, violet dark lights flashing in a single floor building nestled between two tree buildings. The Black Cat. With luck, it looked dead inactive-- save for the bouncer at the front of the door. A tall, muscular bouncer in a black suit and sunglasses.

Unafraid, Syeena made her way for the building.

"Whaddaya mean you can't find him?!" Bones looked up from his drink, turning around towards the commotion. Currently Ludo was at a bar in Poinsettia, accompanying a few fellow guildmates to the area to search for someone. It had nothing to do with him, but he did enjoy traveling, and he loved drinking, so he decided to come along. The three guildmates in question were standing near the center of the bar, their makeshift leader, Vinnie, seemingly hot around the collar at present. He wore a long black coat with no shirt, exposing the Tartaros tattoo on his chest. With long black pants, black shoes, and his trademark dark shades, he looked the part of a dark mage. "He was here, I know he was here! This is his hometown, and he doesn't have anywhere else to go! The bartender said he doesn't live far from this place, so whaddaya mean you can't find him?!" The shorter of the other two, a stocky, black clad fellow named Skuzz shrugged. "Dunno what to tell you. We looked everywhere. Couldn't find him."

Vinnie threw back his head and let out a groan of frustration. "We have to find him! Even if we gotta tear this city apart, we gotta find him!" Skuzz shrugged his powerful shoulders again. "We can keep looking, but if he ain't here, he ain't here." Slamming his fist down onto a nearby table, Vinnie scowled. "He's here. Find him." As the trio made their way for the door, Vinnie called back to Bones "When you finish your drink, you help us look too! This is serious!" Acknowledging him with a raise of his mug, Bones took a deep swig from his mug. "How annoying..." The bartender, who was calmly cleaning a glass, raised his eyebrow at him. "You know, there's a place you could go that might be able to help you." Switching his attention from his glass to the bartender, Bones raised his eyebrows.

"I hear talk of a place in town called the Black Cat. Never been there myself, but they say the place is pretty lavish. Kinda like a Jazz club or something, I think." Bones frowned at him. "Uhuh. Why do I care again?" The bartender shook his head, and resumed cleaning his glass. "Because the place is said to be something of a shop. They sell weapons, drinks...information. They might be able to help you find your missing person..." He now had Bones full attention. "And this place is located...where exactly?" Setting his glass down, bartender leaned in, resting his right elbow on the table as he rubbed his thumb over his index and middle finger. "Maybe for the right incentive, I could tell you." "Are you suggesting I break your fingers?" The bartender reared back, chuckling hastily. "N-No, of course not! I-I don't know myself, actually. I heard about it from a customer. I don't know where it is."

Giving the bartender a hard stare, Bones drained his glass, sliding it away from him. "Of course you don't. Because if you did, that'd just make things too damned easy..."

Hex soon jumped upon Syeena's shoulders as she saw The Black Cat lounge in sight. Walking past the shadows and crossing the empty street, she reached the other side, where the bouncer noticed her. The bouncer looked to her, a bit cautious to her appearance. From his point of view, she looked like a 'green eared' girl with an innocent heart. The kind that were welcomed but the types that wanted their innocence lost in a good night on the town.

The bouncer gave a dark smirk to Syeena, looking at the thick glasses. "This is no place for little girls," he said in a judgmental tone. "You wouldn't want to be roughed about, now do you?" he warned in a teasing tone, clearly checking her out.

Hex hissed a little. Either the bouncer was new on the job or he didn't recognize her. Syeena reached up and adjusted her glasses. "Well..." she said, showing her green eyes in a more stern stare to the man. "Good thing I am a woman, who knows how to play rough too."

At that moment, Syeena conjured a magical card of light before her. Several cards appeared around her, floating in motion around her as her magic kicked in. She grasped one-- the Temperance-- and as she did so, the other cards coiled inward upon her, releasing a gentle flash of light. The bouncer was surprised, but soon saw as she requip before his eyes.

Syeena now reappeared in her true attire and form. Her glasses were gone and now her green eyes reflected her far darker nature. She stood proudly now in her black sorceress robes, styled for a magical look but also acrobatic situations. It was an alluring attire in black with orange accents to it. As she now stood before the bouncer, she stood with a prideful and strong statue that spoke strength, despite being a smaller women next to the bouncer.

Hex only smirked upon Syeena's shoulders as she watched the bouncer's reaction. "Ugh! S-Syeena! Sorry... I didn't realize it was you," he said, scratching the back of his head. "You shouldn't trick me like that. "

Syeena only gave a wry smile at him. "It's good to see you too, Gray. Mind letting us ladies in?" she asked, her tone a bit tired to accent her impatience. "We did come a long way."

"O-of course, Miss Syeena," the bouncer said, the slight glow of red showing behind his eyes. He quickly reached for the door and held it open for her. "Always good to have you with us," he said in a humble tone.

"Relax. Its all fine. Aw how nice of you. FOr a demon, you're quite the gentlemen," Syeena replied with thanks and moved inside, Hex containing her cackling giggles as they walked inside.

Bones stepped outside of the bar, stifling a belch as he looked around. He'd have to find some more information about this Black Cat place if he was going to help the gang find their missing person. If he could go to the Black Cat, he could ask where the Black Cat was and just save himself a heap of trouble... Heaving a sigh, he began walking down the street. Picking a bar at random, he kicked open the door with a bit more force then was necessary. The door swung open, slamming into the wall with a loud bang. All eyes swiveled to Bones as he stepped in, casually scratching his chin with his right hand, which he'd freed from his restraints earlier to drink more easily. He strode inside, meeting the gaze of anyone who looked his way as he walked to the back of the bar. There, just as he had expected, was a table with several men at it. All the chairs were angled towards one person, no doubt their leader. In towns like this, there was always someone in the local bar who was the man to talk to about the goings on of the local area. This looked like one of those guys.

As he drew closer to the table, one of the men stood up to block his path. "Look here buddy-" Before the man could finish his statement, Ludo headbutted him in the nose. As he collapsed, several others stood to the their feet, only to be stalled by a word from their leader. "Now now, I'm sure our friend here has a reason for coming here. My name is Loveleiss. Tell me what is is you need." the man said with a chuckle. Booting the fallen the man out of his way, he took a step closer to the table. "I'm looking for a bar, goes by the name of the Black Cat." Several of the men at the table shot each other a few glances, but all eyes went back to their leader as he let out another laugh. "Surely you joke. That place is only a myth, a running joke with the people of this town. I assure you, you won't find anyplace with such a name here."

As if on cue, the rest of the men at the table joined in on his laughter, shooting Bones looks of amusement. Reaching up a hand to casually scratch his chin, he noticed the slight tremble in Loveleiss' words. "Why are you lying to me?" The words had barely left his lips when the laughter died down immediately. Loveleiss' strained to keep a smile on his face. "N-Nonsense! I assure you-" He stopped speaking when Ludo raised his right foot, tapping it toe down on the ground. His flip flop slid off of his foot, and he raised it up so that everyone at the table could see the bottom of his foot, and the Tartaros tattoo emblazoned there. "You're lying to me. I don't like liars." Lowering his foot, he kicked his other flip flop from his foot, exhaling slightly as he did so. "Surely you know what comes next..."

After they left the bouncer, Syeena and Hex entered the Black Cat lounge. It was called the Black Cat lounge because it was a common hangout for 'cool cats' but more importantly, named after the obvious association to the black cat familiar witches used, much like Syeena here. A place where those of the dark witches would attend. Especially for its reputation involving dealing with black magic.

The inside was a stylish, jazzy setting. Violet walls with gentle lighting. It was soothing and appealing to the eye as one would walk in. Despite the one floor size of the club, it was a spacious place. Couches and booths lined the walls in different sections. In one corner was a pool table, and another was a small stage and piano , clearly where performances could be done. And last but not least, was a large bar on the right side of the room. A lacryma- tv like screen hung from the top of the bar, followed by rows of different drinks and tools needed to make them.

Soft jazz music played in the background, played likely by lacryma magic to keep a pleasant mood. No one else was in the lounge but her-- and of course her friend who was working nicely at the bar. He was cleaning glasses as he always was. The man was a big guy next to Syeena, a good head or so taller. He was a dark gentlemen with a smooth head, a short beard, light earrings along his ears and a kind face. He was not the type you would imagine to be a dark magic informant. In fact, he was actually a trustworthy person if you looked at him. To Syeena, he was a welcomed face she always was happy to see.

" Well, if it isn't my favorite customer," Agil said in a pleasant, deep voice. "Evening, girl. "

Syeena strolled along towards the bar, observing the lack of customers around. "Is that because i am your ONLY customer, Agil? Business must be bad everywhere it seems," she said in a teasing tone of voice.

"Very funny," Agil replied, cleaning the last of the glasses as he saw her approach the bar. Soon Hex hopped off her shoulders, landing on all fours on the counter. "You should of been here around Halloween. Place was packed.-- Hey! Get your paws off the counter! I just cleaned it!"

His snap at Hex caused her to jump like a true cat, her fur on end as she landed on the stool. "Scaring people over being clean won't help your lack of customers, or finding a lady, Agil, " Hex mewed in response, causing Agil to pop a small vain of anger at the cat. Between Hex and Agil, the two had a love-hate relationship. Hex loved to poke fun at Agil, and Agil very much hated Hex that he wanted to hang her outside the shop as a stuffed advertisement for his store.

"If your poison be sweets, bitter treats, grim delights or gentle nights, For man or demon of souls pitch black-- come set them at ease at the Black Cat," Syeena recited, being the little catch phrase Agil came up with to promote his business. "A good lingo regardless, Cheshire. It kept me coming back. "

Agil grinned at her, pleased to still hear she always enjoyed coming there. "Damn straight," he said in a blusey tone of voice. He glanced at Hex with mild irritation but brushed his issue with her to the side, as he saw her tussling to get her witch's hat on straight. Turning to Syeena he smiled and leaned on the edge of the bar. "Now what can I get for you today?" he asked.

"No more, please! No more!" Loveleiss pleaded. He was sitting down on the ground, his back up against the wall as he looked up at Bones. The table that he had been sitting at was overturned, one of the occupants of said table squashed beneath it. Another was laying in the splinters of a nearby table, another was draped over the bar. The remaining members of Loveleiss' little crew were strewn about around him. The other patrons of the bar had beat a hasty retreat when things had gone south, leaving the bartender as the only other person inside. He hadn't made any move to stop the violence, instead scrubbing a glass and watching the proceedings with mild interest. Bones walked over towards him, stepping on the table as he did so. The man underneath let out a grown that ceased when Bones had made it all the way across it to kneel down next to Loveleiss. He trembled as the spiky haired man drew nearer, already trying to dissuade any further violence. "Y-Y-You proved your point, I'll talk. Just don't hurt me!"

"Shut up."

Immediately, Loveleiss clapped a hand over his mouth. "Now then. I know this bar called the Black Cat exists. I know it's a good place to get some information, information on a man that I'm looking for. I know it's somewhere in this town, and-did I say you could talk?" The last bit was aimed at Loveleiss, who had opened his mouth to say something. He closed it, placing both hands over his mouth this time. "...Anyway. I know it's somewhere in this town, and I need to find it. I have a deadline. Now, you're going to tell me everything you know about this place and where I can find it, or I'm going to clean up your friends' blood with your face, understand?" Loveleiss just stared back at him. "Now you can talk." Slowly lowering his hands, Loveleiss swallowed nervously. "I-I...I don't know too much. I mean!" He started when Bones made a move towards him.

"No please, really! I know that the place is usually in the same spot, but it's not really easy to find! See, it disappears and reappears at random, so if you find it you have to be really lucky! I swear I'm not making this up!" Bones gave him a hard look before standing to his feet. "Back to square one then..." He turned to leave, kicking one of the men as he made his way to the exit. "Actually..." Bones swiveled his gaze to the bartender, who had set aside his glass and now fixed him with a bemused smile. "You got something to say?" "Why, in fact I do. I believe that I may know where you have to go..."

Syeena now relaxed in the stool seat as Hex sat in the stool next to her, happily playing with the fact it rotated. She was using her own momentum to twist around like a child would on such a seat. "Hurricane, extra juice if you please," she said. As she did, she waved her hand over a part of the counter. Light of the magic circle she used appeared, and below it, appeared her deck of Tarot Cards. She liked to read fortunes as she was enjoying a drink.

Nodding at the drink selection, Agil then turned to Hex the cat. "And you?" he asked, his voice a little less friendly with the sassy cat.

Hex still playfully twisted in her chair. "White Russian," she said in a cheerful tone. She then gave a full twist, sending the chair to spin around fully a few times as she spoke. "Hold the ice, hold the vodka, hold the Kahlúa."

Agil rolled his eyes as he went to fetch their drinks. He took two glasses and began to prepare them behind the counter. "So how is it, Syeena? Being a part of a major dark guild like Grimore Heart?" he asked, keeping conversation. "Last time I saw you, that creepy Eric guy was inviting you to the guild."

Syeena shuffled her deck and began to spread a few cards out in front of her in a specific pattern. "Tiring to be honest. So much work I didn't expect it," she said as she flipped up the top card of the build, revealing the nine of swords. Appropriate to mean exhaustion of work.

Agil laughed a bit, finding it a funny thing to hear her say. Syeena was always one to enjoy life and not work so hard, not that she was lazy of course. Still, to see her feeling exhausted from 'work' was a precious thing to hear. "Ah, not as easy as you expected hm?" he said with a humorous tone.

She gave him a sarcastic look, warning him how she felt about him poking fun at him. "I may be tired, but doesn't mean I won't kick your ass if you provoke me, Cheshire." Agil just smiled at her and finishing her drink.

After a second, he drew up a pink glass of juice. A hurricane as she requested, made with dark and white rum, lemon and passion fruit juice with ice. She happily took the drink and sipped on it via the straw he put in there. Then he got to Hex, who was leisurely spinning on the chair like a playful kitten.

He placed a glass of white liquid on the table for her. "Cream. Straight up," he replied, grasping her attention.

Hex saw the cup and her ears went up in delight. "Thank you, she chirped happily as she used her paws and picked up the glass. No longer spinning, she happily began to drink down the yummy milk. Typical for a cat like her to want that. Syeena just smiled as her childhood friend had her glass freely.

"It's not all bad, but they certainly are high maitanence. You don't get far if you are not willing to work hard, or you remain a grunt of the guild." Syeena said as she drank another sip of her drink. She enjoyed Agil's company. He was always someone she could talk to and feel comfortable with.

At long last, Bones had gotten the information he'd needed. Surprisingly enough, the bartender had been very cooperative, and gave him the directions to the general area that the Black Cat was most often spotted. He warned him that even if it wasn't there when he first arrived, to look around for it, and it might reveal itself to him. Stepping out of the door of the bar, Bones gave a slight snort of disbelief. The very idea of a bar that appeared at random just seemed so far fetched to him that he had a strong belief that he was wasting his time. He followed the bartender's directions as he pondered what kind of bar this place really way. It seemed interesting to him, if nothing else, that something as large as a bar could teleport, because that's exactly what it seemed to be doing. From what he'd gathered, the bar didn't just appear here in Poinsettia, but in other towns as well.

Even if it didn't teleport, that would mean that it was somehow still in one central place, but had numerous portals or gateways to the bar. Either way, it seemed like some very advanced magic(at least to him). If there was any truth to all of this, it could be handy to keep this information to himself. Not that he didn't trust any of his guildmates, but it seemed like the type of information that shouldn't be broadcast to everyone.

Reaching the end of the bartender's directions, he arrived at his destination. It was a rather ordinary looking street intersection, nothing to arouse suspicion. As he looked this way and that in the ever darkening night, he started to feel foolish. This seemed like the type of thing that a child would believe, a reappearing bar that only showed up if you BELIEVED hard enough. He ground his teeth together, planning to go back and beat the bartender to make himself feel better when something in the corner of his eye caught his attention. Lights flashing in a building he hadn't seen before seemed to be winking at him. He stared in disbelief as he took a cautious step closer. He'd looked at that spot before, he was sure of it. Where there used to be a pair of buildings side by side, this one had somehow wedged itself in between them.

As he walked closer to it, he didn't take his eyes off the lights for fear that it would disappear again. Stopping in front of it, he stared at the neon lights that spelled out Black Cat, his jaw dropping slightly. "Inconceivable..." "Can I help you pal?" Bones looked down and took a half step back. He had been so busy looking up, he had almost run smack dab into the bouncer, a large man snazzily dressed in a suit and shades. "Uh...yeah. This is the Black Cat, right?" "That's what the sign says."
"Just checkin'," he muttered, as he tried to sidestep the man and get inside.

"Not so fast pal. Who're you?" "Who, me? Don't mind me, I'm just..." Twisting his body as he spoke, he raised his arm and swung his elbow, slamming it against the man's temple, dislodging his glasses in the process. "Just passing through." Stepping forward, he opened the doors of the bar to find it mostly empty. Moonlight cascaded in behind him, bathing the entrance as he surveyed his new surroundings. It was indeed a very appealing place, with low lighting and what he felt sure was good music. The only people he could see were all the way at the bar. Stepping inside, he didn't bother to close the door behind him as he opened his mouth to speak.

The words died on his lips as the moonlight that flowed in behind him was seemingly eclipsed. "Nice try, wise guy." Turning around, Bones' eyebrows rose so high they practically vanished into his hairline. The bouncer was standing in the doorway, blotting out all the light. Which was funny, because Bones was sure that the bouncer was big, but now he seemed to be so large he struggled to fit through the door. And were his eyes always that red?

Syeena was drinking his drink as they spoke. She was still playing with her cards as she tended to do when thinking. Little did she know that someone was approaching the bar. The door was soon opened and someone stepped inside. It was not strange to get in customers, but security took into account who and why someone came in. Agil had a good head on his shoulders and he instructed the bouncers to be careful with who entered.

The guy who entered suddenly was strange. He had wild hair and wore a restraint jacket-- broken. To Syeena, he looked like some guy who busted out of a nut-house. Syeena's attention left her cards just as she had turned "The Death" card-- signifying a significant change. Well that counted for one alright.

The bouncer cracked his knuckles as he glared down at Bones. Now with his glasses tilted, he could see his eyes now glowing red revealing demonic power behind them. "You better have a good reason why I don't reduce you to a splatter on the wall, punk!" he warned, wanting to crush his bones like a giant in a fairy tail.

Syeena casually took another sip of her drink, as Hex ignored the scuffle, enjoying her cream. "You're security could use a bit of work, Agil," Syeena said as she casually watched with mild interest.

Agil wasn't sure what would happen either. He had an open door policy for dark mages. He didn't mind them. But if you acted uncivilized in his bar-- things got ugly fast. You could count on being kicked out flat on your ass.

Bones eyed the bouncer cautiously, reaching a hand up to casually scratch his chin. "Eh? A reason? Why, I'm a patron of course. That, and I honestly didn't expect you to get up from that..." The bouncer stared at him blankly for a moment, before bursting out laughing. "You're a funny one, I'll give you that. I'll let it slide this time. Try it again, and you better believe I'm throwing you out, got it?" Bones smirked slightly, nodding his head once. "Fair is fair. Won't happen again." The bouncer readjusted his shades, before stepping outside, closing the door behind him. Exhaling slightly, Bones lowered his head. Somehow he felt strangely like he'd just dodged a bullet. He figured that the bouncer would be out for the next few minutes, but not only did he get up, he came back for seconds. Definitely not someone who'd be easy to take out. Raising his head back up, he turned around to face the bar.

Walking towards the bar, the first thing that struck him as odd was the cat that was up on one of the stools enjoying a drink. The next was the woman who sat beside her. He gave her a wink as he sat on the stool next to her, looking her up and down as he did so. He made no attempt to hide his obvious ogling, but once he'd had his fill he turned to the Bartender. "I'm looking for someone. I'd heard that this was the place to go for information. That being said, maybe..." he shot the woman a sidelong look. "One of you could help me?"
