Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Embodiment of Pandemonium/Aspect of Sacrifice
It would seem, unfortunately, that his earlier assessment of the boy's skill were right on. As he had moved in for his strike, Zeph did indeed notice the sudden change in his opponent's eyes, bringing them back to the unnatural color they had been when he had first laid eyes on him. It became obvious that this change in color was simply a visual effect of some sort of magic, as the boy's physical augmentation became quickly apparent.

Moments before, Jaxus had been unable to follow Zeph's movements. Now, though, he seemed to be having no problem at all, not only, keeping up, but surpassing him. The increase in his speed alone was just enough for him to overcome Zeph's, allowing him to dodge the initial straight strike, as well as avoid his left swing to strike him in the head. Using some very quick, and somewhat fancy, foot work, Jaxus managed to turn Zeph's own momentum against him, throwing his center of gravity off just enough to screw him up. The counter was obviously useless as far as damaging him went, but it did serve it's purpose.

The parasol released from his hand, flying through the air before it hit the wall of the alley and falling to the dirty ground. Pushing, hard, against the ground with his left foot, Zeph managed to regain some semblance of balance before Jaxus next strike came in. Swinging his right arm down, Zeph barely managed to fend off the elbow strike to his side, knocking the blow off just enough to miss him. Following up, rotating on the spot, he countered. His hand came flying at Jaxus face, straight jab, palm open and facing him, but fingers curled around tightly. Regardless of either or not this hit, he did not let up.

Jaxus attempted to get away, moving around Zeph before jumping away, but he was not going to have that. The moment Jaxus feet left the ground, Zeph was on the move, right there after him. He was not going to give him a moment of rest, nor was he going to let him set up again. There was only a split second after Jaxus landed that Zeph leapt forward, closing the small distance, his knee pulling forward to drive it into the boy's already injured abdomen. His momentum, even if the knee strike was blocked, would bring him right on top of Jaxus. If the boy hadn't move he would follow-up with swinging his right elbow down, striking at his opponent's neck.

Disarming the enemy would normally be a good idea, but with Zeph, all it did was shorten his reach, it did not reduce his effectiveness.

//Close one...// Jaxus mentally quipped as Zeph brushed his elbow away with a precise stroke. //W-Woah!// Once the rotation was complete, however, Jaxus had found his leap timed just right as Zeph's open palm strike came just an inch from his chest as he sailed through the air. The moment Jaxus had landed, however, Zeph took to the air and his eerie yellow eyes went wide in shock. //He's too close!// Jaxus could see the move, yet, as he had just landed, his footing was not as steady as it could have been. Furthermore, Zeph's strike had worked wonders. Jaxus could perceive the attack, he could see it coming, but by this time, Zeph was too close to fully counter.

Yet and still, the boy was able to at least react. Turning his torso counter clockwise, Jaxus turned his right arm with the motion, shifting his palm to face his left. Placing a majority of his body weight into the movement, Jaxus heavily pressed upon Zeph's leg in an attempt to redirect the attack. Inadvertently, this had prevented Zeph from landing the elbow strike, but as for the knee...

CRACK!

Jaxus' eyes could only do so much, as Zeph's knee crashed into the left side of his ribs, causing an audible, cracking noise to echo through the alleyway. "AUUUHGH!" Jaxus' body rotated counter clockwise with the strike, lessening the blow ever so slightly, but not enough. The shock was only intensified as the left side was the one Zeph had managed to grievously injure before hand, the pain of the strike rattling up his skeleton and into his left arm. "Don't..." With an oddly uncharacteristic expression, quietness in his voice, Jaxus arm, which was previously horizontally across his chest from the earlier guarding motion, flew outwards like a spring just a half second after the knee collided. Mid-swing, however, the mysterious, floating orbs of light would appear once more, coating the majority of his forearm as they gently floated to the sky above.

Take me lightly!" In a sudden burst of bravado, Jaxus attempted to strike the side of Zeph's abdomen, along the front of his chest with a knife-hand strike, intending the karate chop the man inbetween his ribs. Due to the short height of Jaxus, combined with Zeph's aerial position, his arms rested upon a lower elevation. Due to this both of these factors, Jaxus had hoped it would prove more difficult to dodge, even for someone so obviously talented in hand-to-hand tactics. If the strike struck, the danger wasn't fully in the strike itself, but the angle. Due to the close confined spaces of the alleyway, Jaxus intended to throw Zeph a full meter with the strike and send him right into the wall. Regardless of the results of the strike, however, Jaxus would fall to his knees near immediately after laying out the strike, lurching over as violently coughed up a spurt of blood, signifying that at this point he was most likely suffering from internal injuries as well as external. "Uuhgh..." Jaxus panted heavily, looking up to lock his eyes upon the man with a look of defiance. Even though an idiot, it was clear that the boy was highly tenacious, perhaps too much so.

His first strike with his palm missed, but it seemed the plan to keep on top of the opponent worked out in the end... Well, sort of. His charge was successful, though delayed, as his knee strike made contact with the boy's body, though his strike with the elbow had missed quite spectacularly. Although some would count this as a win, Zeph did don't. It was the secondary strike, the elbow aimed for his head, that he had really been counting on. A sharp blow may have been to knock the boy unconscious, or at least severely disorient him to the point the would not allow him to continue fighting.

Zeph heard the sound of crushing ribs, but was far too distracted for it to really register. It took Jaxus only a moment to respond to his strikes, and this time, there was no way out of taking the full him. His enemies hand struck Zeph right on target, and with the help of that annoying light spell of his, the blow was quite effective. The power sent Zeph away from Jaxus and straight into the wall of the alley. Though the strike was painful, hitting the wall full force was even worse. His body had rotated just enough so that his back took the full blow, the shock of which, kept him from catching himself as he fell back to the ground.

Now in a sitting position, supported by the wall behind him, Zeph stared at Jaxus, breathing heavily as the boy coughed up blood. They both were wearing down, though it was undeniable that Jaxus had sustained far more damage than himself. He watched as the boy looked to him, his eyes full of the human instinct to defy. He had seen this before, when the odds appeared to be against one, the instinct to light up the eyes. Zeph's returning look was an empty one, expressionless with eyes half-open, as if he was bored. Glancing out of the corner of his eye, he noticed his parasol laying only a foot away.

Gather himself onto his feet, while picking up the parasol, he walked over to the boy. Stopping just outside a striking range, he stared at Jaxus. This boy was the first human to face him with such tenacity, that need to win at any cost and not to give up. "You have fought well, but I no longer have a reason to continue fighting against you," His monotone voiced would make this statement appear almost insulting, as if he thought he was somehow better than Jaxus was. This was not fact. What he had said was true, he did not have a reason to continue fighting. The lesson had been delivered, the battle was over. "Tell me one thing. What is your name, human boy?"

Jaxus gritted his teeth as he took note of the expressionless, half-open gaze the man returned to him, yet, his vision was fading. Jaxus' yellow eyes slowly faded away, leaving a bright emerald coloration in it's place. Vision filled with blurriness and minor colors, Jaxus kept looking at the man until he fell over half way, weakness in his body from a lack of blood. As Jaxus lifted his head once more, however, he found the man approaching with his parasol, causing his entire body's muscles to tense in reaction. The man's fighting was brutal, like that of a demon, and for a moment, Jaxus closed his eyes, right arm over his ribs as he let out a light, pained sigh. //Guess this is it then...I'm sorry Shelly...// Jaxus mentally apologized to the egg in his backpack, simply waiting for the inevitable, following strike. Then...nothing.

//E-Eh...?// Jaxus expression somewhat changed as the man finally spoke, forcing him to open his eyes and realize the man had stopped in front of him, just out of reach to execute the final strike. Albiet, Jaxus had found abit of offense in the comment, but he understood the man's point. For all intents and purposes, Zeph had achieved a crushing victory. Jaxus, on the other hand, was still unsure if he was even able to stand. Yet and still, the tone of the situation was slightly different and Jaxus by this point, Jaxus was sure that the man intended to keep his word and let him live.

"Oi...You make real good on yer' promises, ya fight like a friggen demon..." Jaxus let out a pained cough as he said this, making a comment not only on how the man claimed he would spare him, but his claim to "punish" Jaxus for his intrusion. Now if only Jaxus was aware of how right he was regarding the demon part. With the pain wracked across his body, he definitely felt like the man had made good on his word. "Jaxus..." Upon saying his name Jaxus leaned over gripping his ribs in a pained fashion, briefly bringing his body up to face the man immediately, a tone of pain and difficulty in his voice. "J-Jaxus...Morbane..." Jaxus' words had to be kept rather short, the pain in his ribs growing every moment as the adrenaline left his body. Yet, the small boy, who's stature was so miniscule, had mustered the courage to look to the man once more, a cocky grin spread across his face. "Remember it...cuz someday..."

Unable to hold the pain any longer, Jaxus lurched over once more, blood escaping his mouth as it stained the ground below. "I-I'll become..." Jaxus' face remained close to the pavement, his right arm slowly falling from his ribs to the ground below as he drug his hand over the blood. "I'll become..." At this moment, Jaxus' raised his head to Zeph once more, a fire burning in his eyes as he clenched his fist and allowing the blood to drip down his fingers. "Truly strong!" "OWOWOW!" Immediately, Jaxus' idiocy had made itself apparent as he made a fist pump motion, hurting his ribs practically immediately as he was forced to lean over lightly hugging his left side with his right arm. "A-And you...?" Shortly, Jaxus raised his body, looking to the man with a less intense, aggressive expression. "How bout' your name...? You're really good, ya know. I might wanna rematch sometime..." Perhaps, not the smartest thing to say to an opponent who could end his life, but Jaxus was being honest. He didn't want to accept this loss lying down, and this cloaked man had drawn his focus in terms of ability rather quickly.

He watched, and listened to, the young man put forth his brave bravado, has he made the declaration of one day becoming truly strong and such. Though he found his opponent's abilities fascinating, he did not have the same admiration for the boy's personality it would seem. He almost laughed when Jaxus pumped his fist, only to end up hurt himself even more. Despite everything, at least he was entertaining to watch, so that was a plus. Letting out a small sigh, he parted his lips to speak again, when the boy looked to him once more, again, with burning eyes.

It was a query about his name, something he had not honestly expected to give out, but given the circumstances, he would oblige. Bowing his head, he spoke, "I am Zeph Erez, Last Son of Zeref." Perhaps his old, Incendi, title would give the boy some pause before he decided to meddle within his affairs in the future, though from the sound of it, that was not going to be likely.

Bringing his parasol up, Zeph opened it above his head with his left hand, shielding himself from the sun for when he left the decrepit alley. Turning to leave, he looked down at Jaxus once again, and spoke, "If you are going to challenge me again one day then you will need to because stronger than you think. For I will be gathering more power every day that you wait." With that he began walking, only pausing once, at the entrance to the alley, to call back down it to the boy, "Oh, and try not to die before we see one another again. I would quite enjoy crushing you again." Turning away, Zeph disappeared into the moving crowd.

It was true that his entire operation, that he had spent weeks planning out and gathering intel for, had been ruined due to one nosey kid. However, he had gained more than he would have thought before. A small smile curled onto his face as the realization dawn upon him; He had just created a rival out of this boy. One that would continue to grow stronger every day, and hunt Zeph down until he finally won.

"E-Eh?!" Jaxus' eyes opened with a shocked expression as Zeph pointed out his heritage, claiming to be related to Zeref in some form. Even for a boy like Jaxus, that name was common knowledge, and one of dread and fear. An odd silence passed as Jaxus attempted to digest the information, somewhat shaken from Zeph's claim. //Just...who is this guy...?// Jaxus mused to himself mentally, still prone on his knees as weakness filled his body. Slowly and hesitantly, Jaxus pressed his right arm against the ground, pressing his body weight upwards and grunting as a surge of pain rattle through his ribcage. "Urk..." By this point, the man had already begun to leave Jaxus behind, his wounds preventing him from moving without hindrance.

"E-Eh...?"
Confused and disorientated from bloodloss, Jaxus could only mutter this sound as the man boasted that Jaxus needed far more skill to compete on his level. However, as the man paused once more, the last phrase finally woke Jaxus from his bloodloss and fear confused haze. "EEHH?!? COME BACK HERE AND SAY THAT, KONO YARO-OOOWWWWW!" Shaking his fist exuberantly towards the man as he left, Jaxus fell over once more as pain wracked his body, forcing him to topple over and collapse with his shoulder on the wall of the alleyway, too weak to support his own body weight.

Weakly, and slowly, once by one, Jaxus begun to walk to the end of the alleyway as fast as he could muster, using the wall for support. "H-huh...?" As he finally staggered to the end of the alleyway, Jaxus looked left, right, then left once more. The man had disappeared like a phantom, with no trace. Try and try as Jaxus did, he simply couldn't find any sign of him. "Rgghhh..." Jaxus right fist clenched tightly and a rather large vein grew on his forehead, visibly clenching his teeth with a cross of anger and competitive drive. "KONO YAROU, I'LL FIND YOU AGAIN! KONO YAROU, KONOOO YAAROOOUUU!" Jaxus yelled into the skies, enraged and fired up. Jaxus' mind was up for round two, but his body was in no such condition to say the least of it. "..E...Eh...e...h....?"

As Jaxus blood pressure sky rocketed, a wave of light headed nausea spread across his being. Even though his arm had ceased bleeding, Jaxus' blood supply had been left severely reduced. As a result, Jaxus immediately fell over with a thud across the ground. "Uh..." Exhausted, tired, and wracked with pain, Jaxus slowly and weakly brought himself to his feet. Perhaps, mostly knowing Trillium's shady backround, he knew that passing out would endanger him. With that said, even if it killed him, he walked forward into the streets. Aftrewards, he intended to walk to his next location and become stronger. His goal? To beat Zeph Erez. His first step in the quest to best his new rival? Finding a doctor that's capable of treating his wounds. //..Just you wait...Zeph Erez...//
