Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Like any other day, the park was crowded with people ranging from packs of kids to entire family reunions to the lucky couples totally not making out behind those trees. Qli watched it all while enjoying a slice of pizza. It was a day of rest for the squire, and even three years' worth of living here has still left Qli wondering why pizza was such an on-the-run delicacy. It was easy to hold, true, but was greasy and stuck to fingers even through the napkins. What could the archer say though while taking another bite out of hunger? Qli looked around at the scene, and wondered about the nature of such a public area always being occupied. People always congregated as social creatures, and the thought of it made the squire inwardly smile. For someone like Qli, watching people was always a treat. And for people watching the flat-chested person in the green hoodie, it could be said that it was a trick.

Whatever the case, Qli finished the pizza and stuck out a tongue down at the soiled napkin in a futile attempt of rebellion at the successful food design. One day, pizza will be denied, but it was not this day. In a park like this, it would be unwise to be armed for something like a zombie invasion, but Qli wasn't empty-handed either. As an archer should, a quiver of arrows was worn at the back, absent of any bow however. Qli had traveled to Magnolia for the sake of viewing the merchandise in that particular field, but... Well, the bowyer was not highly impressed. Sure, the bows had been decent and well-made for the general customers, but they weren't exceptional. Heck, Qli might as well just sit down and make one! That's one idea. There were trashcans conveniently designated within the park, one of which was situated by a tree and a vacant table. Qli emptied her hands, and then spotted something pinned to the tree.

...Really? Come on, this was a park! Not some advertisement bulletin for politics! Qli didn't care if it was for the ill-fit youngster or the almost-privileged man, or even the war-seeking middle man of no qualms. That poster did not belong in an enjoyable place like this park, so Qli removed it... Folded it, and then placed it next to the trashcan, and turned around to start strolling. If someone wanted to look at it, then fine by them. As long as it wasn't spoiling the scenery...

Titus was obviously dug pretty deep into the candidate crap that had been going on as of late, considering he, a grown ass man, had to dress as a woman for the sake of security. And, oh no, not just any woman. A woman that wore skimpy child clothes and that was NOT about to happen again. If there was any possible way for Franceska to lose this, he'd probably flip a lid or a train or a house. Probably one of those last two, that was a given. Over the past few days, he had really spent more of his spare time focusing on boosting his candidate's popularity. Granted, it was probably in a scary, 'you better do this or die' kind of way, but it worked nonetheless. Just a few days ago, Titus had saw a group of various Herad and Stefan supporters, then decided to drop the bomb on them.

"Now, this is the tale...
Of a young man named Dale.
He was a supporter of Herad,
But now we can truly say "he ded."

Then there was an old lady Lon,
Who ranted and raved for Stefan.
When the word of Boscan War broke,
That poor old woman had a stroke.

If you can not yet see,
There's only one candidate to be.
That girl's name is Franceska
And if you don't vote for her...

I will find you and I will kill you."

Of course, he wasn't one that truly cared to create a perfect rhyme or limerick. He just wanted to get the point across, which he was capable of doing rather easily. With him in his giant set of armor and chainsword in hand, they had listened to him and took his faux threat seriously. He was certain that at least a good twenty of the people there would vote for Franceska, if not all twenty-five. However, he brushed that memory to the side as he witnessed someone up ahead tearing down a poster of Franceska, "Aww, hell naw." He walked up to the folded poster, unfolded it and with the tape that remained on it, he stuck it to the back of the girl like a 'kick me' sign. He didn't make it obvious, but he kind of patted the girl on the back as if to grab her attention, "Hey there, mind me asking what candidate you're rooting for in this election?"

...Huh? A shadow grew over the short squire, and then there was a bump to the back, followed by the sound of arrow shafts shifting. A very intentional one, considering the voice speaking gruffly from behind... above? Qli stopped and turned around, and was confronted by a chest. Uh. ... UH!?? Three primary thoughts swarmed the squire while trying to find the man's face. There were people this tall in Fiore!? Why is this guy asking about the election? And of course, the most important- "Excuse me, I'm going to ask you something too. Did you just touch my quiver?" The surprise was melted away by an intense irritation once seeing the huge man's outstretched hand, the one he probably used to get Qli's attention. Qli would've asked with a lowered voice, but the voice was already low like a young boy's, and quite frankly, the archer was focusing on the fact that this guy just messed with my quiver are you kidding me right now. No one messed with an archer's gear.

The squire fully turned around to give him the attention he probably wanted, and Qli glared up unintimidated. The quiver was obviously undamaged, pfft as if he could hurt it, but Qli adjusted the quiver anyway. It had to be perfec- What was that? What was that noise just now? It sounded like paper flipping through the air. Qli swayed side to side as if walking in place, and then heard it again. No way. With sure knowledge of the exact size of the quiver, and therefore the general placement where the paper was stuck, Qli expertly reached behind and felt around. Sure enough, that wasn't the feel of leather. In a single movement, Qli found the edge and ripped the poster off from the quiver and brought it to the front, visible to the man as well. It was the same one that was removed just moments earlier. And then Qli remembered what the guy actually asked. Sure, let's amuse him.

Qli let go of the angry expression and smiled. "I think you dropped this in the wind! The park isn't a place for politics; it's a place for relaxation." Qli didn't mind that some other people started glancing their way from their picnics and tables and whatnot. Besides, I wouldn't be spreading around posters of that spoiled loli, so I suggest you be careful with who you're trying to trick into giving support."

The little squirt seemed like she let out a little squirt as she turned to face Titus's chest, "My eyes are up here, honey." It was like a lengthy dagger being rammed into the quiver and pushed all the way through to her back, but he wouldn't believe how considerate she would be about the quiver itself. After she looked up, she responded not with an answer on the candidate, but with a fierce rhetoric question which Titus was happy to answer, "Yes, but it was out of necessity. I'm certain your quiver will be just fine." However, as she would turn she would become a little suspicious of a sound that came from behind. With the way that the poster was angled, it caught some wind as she turned and caused the soft sound of moving paper. She took wiggled a bit to see if she could replicate the sound and by the time she knew what it actually was, Titus had a grin plastered across his face.

She seemed really calm with the way she presented herself, but with how defensive she seemed to be about the bow, there was obviously buried feelings running amuck. She politely held the paper out in front so that Titus could inspect the page, "It isn't mine, but I'll gladly place it back where it belongs." He wasn't going to take the paper from her, opting to wait for her to hand it over, crumple or throw it, whichever came out to be the winning choice. She went to the first backlash that everyone used against Franceska though, claiming that she was spoiled solely (or at least likely only) because she was a female and the youngest of the three sibling candidates, "Oh, please. You should get to know her and the other candidates before you start speaking of them so poorly." He wasn't too sure of what this girl's candidate was yet, but he was certain now that they didn't share the same preference of Franceska. There was one other candidate he didn't mind, but hoped for her sake that she didn't care for Herad, "Besides, the only one that lacks any sort of common sense is Herad, if only for the sake that looks down upon the proud Knights of Fiore." He shook his head in disapproval, "As long as he doesn't win, I'll be more than okay with whoever wins between the younger two."

Qli smiled and took Titus' answer with positivity. "Right? This quiver is really sturdy." This man was a man of answers. He took every word jabbed at him in stride, and returned it back with his own words. Interesting, very interesting. Very different from other men who were quick to their tempers. Qli supposed he could be given a free pass for patting the quiver. Still though. "Perhaps. I'd just rather the park not be littered by this kind of stuff." The man started speaking down on Herad, and Qli was nodding before realizing it. "Yeah! What is that guy thinking!? Hmm. Your opinions aren't that bad after all." This man spoke highly of the Knights, what was the squire to do other than acknowledge that? "Well, to actually answer your question. I'm honestly not too deep into this election. But, I agree Herad is the worst of the three, in terms of affecting the Knights. I guess that leaves Stefan for me." Honestly, the main thing about Franceska that bothers Qli was that she didn't seem like the leader-y type... or stable type. Or someone that could keep an entire country relatively safe.

Speaking of keeping the park free of political events, someone started shouting in the distance. Yeah sure, parks were naturally bound to be loud, but Qli picked up words that were piercing in ill-placement. The archer sighed and looked away from the man that was forgiven for his presence. "...What did I just say? What did I just say, come on I just said this didn't I..." Qli mumbled out with irritation laced in the tone again. Turning back to the very tall man, too bad there was no time to ask about that, "Well, if you'll excuse me," Qli stormed over to the loud man and, once again, placed the Franceska poster next to a trashcan that was conveniently along the way. Now freed, Qli could hear the man's spoutings much clearer, to the bane of the squire. Something about Herad was the man, if he couldn't do it then the others surely can't.

He looked familiar.

"Hey!" Some of the crowd looked over to Qli, some of which believing the young boy was here to cause trouble. Well, that was half true. Hey, that rally guy did look familiar! "Hey! Man who couldn't even pick up his hotdog without making a mess!" Buying that pizza hadn't exactly been uneventful.
"Go rally somewhere else, will ya!" The man finally gave his attention, and a scowl, toward Qli. "Yeah, the shorty over here is speaking! Don't think I hadn't seen what you've been spewing around to these kids!" Actually, Qli hadn't. But, well, the man looked worn, stubby beard and relatively old when standing next to a bunch of young teenagers at the front of the crowd. "Kinda disgusting if you ask me!" Ah yes, implications were the best to thrown around. Already, there were shifty eyes.
