Titus figured that the girl was trying to play some sort of stupid game, "This is no time for games, we've got to find the other children." He frustratingly waited a few seconds before throwing his hands up in the air and making his way over, "If you're going to help me save these kids, that's fine, but don't waste my-" He went to put his hand on her shoulders, only to see them fall completely through his physical presence, "What in the hell?" It was an illusion, suprisingly, and it had absolutely fooled Titus. Little to his knowledge, it was the spore of the flowers that rose into the air, creating a nearly hypnotic effect on anyone within the vicinity. Of course, it required a source of magic and a more intelligible being to use this magic, but it was nowhere to be seen. "Well, shit." Titus knew that this was a pretty dangerous effect to have to deal with, seeing as the magic could be used to make the kids into monsters, air into the girlie, and probably some other things just as terrible. Figuring that the only true solution to overcoming a visible barricade was by using another sensation, hearing. He called out, hoping that she would be within earshot and respond to his calling, "Hey, girlie! Are you down here?" He'd begin walking into the next room, waiting for her to respond, but would begin pursuit the moment he knew where she was located at. If she couldn't respond though or simply didn't hear his boisterous voice, then he could continue to explore and look for the children in the meantime. Hopefully, the perverse plant that was attacking her hadn't already coiled around her mouth. |

Syeena heard Titus as she was being tied up and the vines were 'feeling her up' in an uncomfortable situation. "Grr... yeah I'm here! QUit playing around and give some help here!" she shouted, but almost let slip another sound as one of the vines tried to touch her somewhere embarrassing. They tried hard to wind around her ankles and wrists, but soon she was able to keep the arm which held her cards out of reach. Finding a spot near the wall nearby, she tugged her arm back as far as she could, keeping it out of reach of the vines-- then threw the cards forward! They struck and nailed themselves into the nearby wall. The vines attempted to tighten around her limbs and.... SHOMP!! Syeena vanished right from between their grasp. The vines collapsed in on the space, as if she just slipped out into nowhere! Another flash of light appeared near the wall where she threw the card and she appeared again, falling from a cloud of rainbow-light. As she fell, light came to her hands as she exquipt a hand full of metallic cards! The vines soon arched to try and catch her, only as she began to fall, she spun in the air and swung the cards forward! The cards of metal lashed at the vines, slicing them to pieces. The vines whithered and fell to the ground lifeless once more, around the same time she landed to the ground. That was close..." she said as she quickly got up, picked up one of her metal cards and proceeded to walk over to the young boy. Using the card in her hand, she used it to slash through the vines binding him. He still didn't wake up. "Mind helping me out down here!" she called out. |

"Are you sure it's this way?" "Sure as I am a talking black cat with enough swag to fill this entire mansion." Miguel nodded, he had to be right. Right now Miguel and Neko were in front of a run-down mansion, apparently Neko and Miguel weren't alone in their afternoon walk through Trillium. Neko insisted on a day off from the constant missions, and so they went to Trillium to see if they could relax with a normal afternoon. Now, past actions dictate that something HAS to go wrong, always. It's not even a debate. So when they walked through the forest and heard what Neko thought was a woman screaming for someone to get her, Neko came running and Miguel followed right behind. Neither were surprised in the slightest. Upon arriving to the mansion it was Miguel that sighed, even after Neko basically said that the voice came from within. He broke open the door and started to walk inside. Upon following the voice he found what appeared to be a way down to the woman. Neko continued to use his hearing to know her exact location in this house. Upon arrival he spoke, "Lady, I dun know who yuu are, but you sound cute so I'll help you. But if you are butt ugly when I find you, you're on your own after this." Miguel sighed, "Ignore the other voice, you're going to see a black cat, hold on to him and he'll help you climb up." Neko slid down the slope and made it down to the dark depth. Upon seeing the woman he grinned, "MIGUEL, SHE'S NOT UGLY! SHE'S CUTE ACTUALLY!" Miguel sighed, "Just get her up here. The longer we stay the longer I feel like something bad's going to happen." If only he knew that he was in the middle of a very deadly garden. Neko kept his ears and nose open for anything suspicious. He waited for the woman to grab on to him so he can slowly raise up the slope with his C Class claws. The slope was weak enough for his claws to dig into as he climbed up, and his strength was enough to hold a human with some support. He was stronger then the average cat, after all! Syeena had no clue where that dumb knight had gone! One moment he was there, and next he wasn't. She was counting on him to help haul the little boy she found in the pod back up to the outside. She wouldn't be able to climb out with a kid to carry, and her teleporting so far could only work on herself, not holding to another person. However, then she heard another voice. A pair actually, coming from up back in the mansion. ONe sounded sarcastic and a bit overly friendly, and the other was more mature and genuine. Like a gentlemen. She couldn't see them but she soon heared about one being a cat. Was he another Exceed like Hex was? She wouldn't be able to tell. Then she finally saw them despite the dim light. THe mage Miguel was a young black man with a cigarette in hand. They wanted to help her get out but she knew her job was not done yet. "I'm not going anywhere!" she said firmly as she took the unconscous child in her arms. "Look! There are still four more children missing here. I am not leaving till I find them all. Look, take this one back outside past the outside gate. You'll find a cat wearing a black hat named Hex. Get him to her. But I gotta find the others." Syeena said. Reaching up as best as she could, she handed the young boy to the stranger and his cat. "I'm continuing on. If you wanna be of use, try helping me out," Her tone was stuck up but it couldn't be helped. Her previous partner vanishing put her in a bad mood. Outside... The kids were playing with Hex, tugging her cheek, petting her but giving her little space. One girl was dressing her up in a to-to. Hex clearly was not happy but was restraining herself in the hopes to keep the children happy. "The Witch Trials was more fun than this, I bet..." she said, referring to torture as she was being forced into. "Syeena... you owe me one," she purred. |

Neko grabbed on to one of the kids with his fangs and climbed up the steep slope. His claws dug into the ground with each push up the ground, his teeth gritted the more he continued forward since the child was unconscious and his fangs had to hold on to him. His jaw couldn't take this pressure for too long. Eventually he reached the top and started to huff and puff, Miguel smiled while looking down at the cat. "What are you looking at?" "Nothing, just wondering how a little kid made you so tired." Neko immediately stood up straight, like a lion, and picked up the kid with his jaw and walked forward. "I dunf know fwat you're terrking 'bout" Neko followed her instructions and left the mansion, meanwhile Miguel slid down the slope towards the woman and eventually landed on the ground, standing up straight, and looked around. "Wow, it's a little too dark in here." Miguel took out his lighter and flicked it open revealing a flame that wasn't there before. The tiny flame helped some in the darkness, but it didn't do much other then that. It was interesting, at least, for Miguel to see this much vines in this place. He wondered how old this mansion was for these vines to have taken over it, maybe a decade? Longer? Probably longer. He looked at the woman, whom he could only see some small features through the dark room. She could see Miguel's silver hair, his white skin, and purple eyes, but not much else other then his black clothes at the moment. He wore a black long sleeved shirt and dark grey jeans with holes on the knees. His shoes were more like boots, but half-cut and somewhat hard-looking in the front. The only weapons he brought were two out of his ten throwing knives, since this was a vacation day of sorts. He smiled at the woman, "I'll try to assist you in finding these kids, when Neko comes back he'll be of more use since he can basically listen to anything within 20 meters of him, or so." Neko, on the other hand, went towards the gate and found what appeared to be children playing with another black talking cat, but she was a little different from Neko. She was an exceed. The sarcastic cat walked forward and dropped the body of the unconscious kid next to the black kitty. "Hello there, fellow feline, I've brought you one of the kids that are missing. Some woman told me to give it to you here." |

Hex soon saw the other talking cat. She was surprised that he was able to move the kid here with just his teeth alone. Hex hopped out of the hold of the child, got rid of the stupid dress and took care of the kid. "Great, Thanks for coming! I'm Hex," she said as she glanced over at the other kids. "Maybe you wanna keep me company taking care of these ADORABLE tikes!" she said with a sarcastic hiss, trying to get Neko to keep the kids in line cause she really didn't want them tieing her fur into braids! Back under the mansion, SYeena watched as the one named Miguel hopped down into the hole. She seemed very nice from a distance, though Syeena was there for a job, she couldn't deny he had a sexy sophisticated quality to him. He was certainly better company than that knight. "Not sure who you are, but we got work to do. The source of these vines should be up ahead... hopefully the children are not hurt." she said and without much more words walked forward. She was so focused she didn't waste with pleasantries. Something Miguel might have to do. They went through the huge hole and it opened up into a large cave-like structure. Vines and moss grew rampant around the room. The light was helpful but bits of the moss glowed on their own, giving a decent light of the cave. Before them was a large chamber, amontg the vines, they all seemed to stem towards a large pod in the center. But what was more interesting was the four smaller ones just in front of them. They were glowing-- and revealing the shadows of four small humanoid figures. The remaining missing children. Much like the first, they were cacooned inside, being slowly-- by slowly i mean in months, digested into nutrition for the plants. They were alive and fine right now though and they could get them out! "There they are. We need to open these and get them out. See if you can find the vines connecting them to the pods," Syeena said and with a flick of her wrists, drew out a few of her sharp edged throwing cards. She was attempting to cut one of the vines--- till a low rumble was sound and made her stop. "TThat... isn't a good sound," She replied. |

Neko looked at the children playing with the female feline, whom appeared to be trying to take care of them while they played with her. There were a few around already, and she seemed to be having an interesting moment with them. She was wearing a tutu a few seconds ago. She asked him to stay with her after thanking him and introducing herself to be 'Hex'. Neko looked at her for a moment, "Alright, I'll bite. I'm Neko. I'll be happy to assist you with these kids <3" Neko gave her a smile that looked almost completely genuine, and closed his eyes. He seemed to be serious and lovable for that moment. He walked up to the kids and sat down, "I AM A GOD AMONG MEN!" The kids stopped for moment, confused as to what the small black cat was talking about. He could talk though, which was adorable to them. "I WAS SENT HERE TO RESCUE ALL OF YOU AND SEND YOU TO YOUR MOMMIES AND DADDIES! BUT I CAN'T DO IT UNLESS YOU GUYS PREY WITH ALL OF YOUR HEARTS AND SOULS!! PRAY TO ME THAT MY POWERS CAN SEND YOU ALL HOME! BUT YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE WITH EVERYTHING YOU HAVE!!" The kids looked at each other with a confused expression, the cat looked.. like a cat. One of them, the smarter of the bunch, asked Neko the obvious. "Can you prove that you're a god? Gods are like.. cool!" Neko looked at him, daggering him with his eyes. "Can you prove I'm NOT a god? Where's your evidence? Did you video-tape me not being a god? Did you SEE me not appearing from the skies and crashing into the ground? What are all of you, five?! If you don't sit down, still, and think about my epicness I can't help the lot of you." The kids mumbled and sat down, the cat managed to quench their activities. "Now.. I'll start by saying just how many lives I have saved in my life. It's gotta be in the millions by now, my being here is proof of that." The kids tried to picture that the best they could, one of them even pictured him saving unicorns. Miguel, in the other hand, wasn't faring as well. He walked through some glowing vines with his lighter out and suddenly felt the room rumbling. His first reaction was to look around and duck, his high accuracy could at least see something coming if it was slow enough. His speed should be enough to follow his reaction time. "What is that?!" Miguel asked while in his frantic state. He did not want to be buried under rubble when there's kids around. He wouldn't be able to save them. |

Hex was shocked by the arrogance on the cat. She thought she was witchy but this male cat was something else entirely. Its like no one ever seen a talking black cat before"?! "But she can talk too" The little girl said to the one called Neko, and pointed to Hex with her witch hat. "Isn't she a god too?" the child asked innocently, not even knowing what a god was. Taking that opportunity, Hex got over to Neko and laughed ." Ahahah... Isn't he adorable. Such a jokster..." She then leaned in close to Neko. "What the hell do you think you're doing?! " Having enough of his stupid talk and attempting to brain wash the kids, Hex gave Neko a swift kick to the tail, hoping to drive him off like the mangy tom cat he acted like. The rumble ... or groan as it more sounded like, vibrated through the cave. Syeena stopped her attempt to cut the vine from one of the pods, and soon saw the vines begin to move again with life. She heard what Miguel said and soon rose back to her feet. Then it showed-- the giant pod in the center of the room beginning to move! The pod moved around and soon revealed it was NOT a pod. Vines wiggled out of it slowly, its body moving as if alive. Vines stemmed from its body-- being the very source of the others. More vines came off its body, looking like an untrimmed jungle hedge. The only identified object of it that they could see was a giant toothed mouth in its "head" where it let out a loud cry. "I think we just found the weed in this garden," Syeena said in mild surprise, but still seemed composed. She held her cards, still ready. At that moment, the vines came to life around them and tried to grab hold of them! Syeena quickly flipped forward, and used a swipe of her cards to claw a nearby vine away, it cutting off a tip of it. However, several vines were all around them. A misstep would cause them to be tangled up. |

Neko scuffed when the cat basically refused his legit way of handling kids. It's not like the parents didn't lie to them anyways, the only difference was that they could actually 'see' this lie in the face. Well, at least that's how Neko saw it. The black cat was obviously different from the typical view in the world, mainly because he's a douche. When Hex stepped on his tail he shuddered for a moment then looked at her, smiling. "Oh.. I like it rough, but I take it you don't." Neko said, turning around at the kids. "Oh she's right, I'm not a god. I was toying around with you. *smiles* BUT She's lonely right now, and needs your attention. Please, PLEASE play with her LOTS while I am gone so she doesn't feel sad. Have fun with her and she'll feel happy<3" And just like that Neko left, running, away from the kids and from Hex. Those kids were obviously annoying her from the 'help' she asked the cat not too long ago, the fun part of this was that this was payback for stepping on his tail. That's ruud, and it wasn't something he deserved for trying to help a cat. Neko did not understand what he did wrong, since to him what he did seemed perfectly fine and the punishment she gave him was unneeded. Miguel saw the pod turn to life and the vines around them started to move around, like they were connected to the creature. Now the game turned into one of hopscotch, because even Miguel knew that a plant creature with vines that moves around on the ground meant that he could get grabbed at any moment. He aimed his palm at the creature and concentrated a small sphere, that turned into a bigger sphere that's two meters tall, and sent it spiraling towards the plant creature hoping to crush it into the wall. The spiral, if it hit, would cause critical damage that would leave most of its bones, if it had any, broken upon impact. The smoke mage then took out one of his knives and ran towards the creature, hoping to stab it after getting hit in the face with the sphere. If the creature wasn't hit by the sphere then Miguel will instead run to Syeenas's side. Edited by THE Cat, Dec 16 2014, 04:24 AM.

Hex soon realized her warning back fired. She didn't want to brain wash the kids! IT was rediculus but now he attempted to leave now and ENCOURAGED THE KIDS to continue their treatment of her. "Oh no no! Don't you dare! Get your tomcat ass back here!! You want rough, ill give you rough!" She scolded and then attempted to catch him by the tail. Weither she succeeded or not was unclear but she really did not want to be left alone with the kids. She just disliked boys talking big with little brains. The sphere would of hit the creature, but the vines that were under its control quickly soon got to rise up in its defense! The sphere of smoke hit the vines, clearly smashing them apart but preventing damage to the root creature! IT wasn't going to be easy to uproot that bastard. Meanwhile Syeena was up to her neck dealing with the vines! With her sharp cards, she threw tham at the vines near her feet, severing them and causing the ones grabbing her to go limp! She definitely didn't like these things. "Tentacles... why did it have to be tentacles!" She soon reached to join Miguel, however more vines were quick to act. "We need to get closer. Can you clear a path of those vines to reach the root?" She asked, wondering if MIguel could do what she asked. They weren't going to get too far like this. |
