Ten minutes and about a thousand Jewels later, Monkey exited from the convenience store with a bag full of food and drinks, as well as a tin of cat food, because why not? "Oh, you're still here!" The masked man exclaimed, once he came out the doors and noticed Whiskers there. "Here, let's go find a park bench or something and eat lunch, why don't we?" Without further ado, Monkey took a turn to the left, strolling to the nearest park that he could find - Trillium's public places were, as a general rule, unsavory, but ever since joining Raven Tail Monkey found that his access to a broader spectrum of locations had widened; there actual clean private parks that he could get into now. The man at the gates recognized his guild tattoo; looked like it was going to be a good day after all. "Hey, come here, Whiskers!" He called out, before entering the park - to be honest, it was actually more like a private garden. There were paved stone roads, and bushes neatly trimmed everywhere; on several places there were a few folk sitting around, playing cards, reading, or simply enjoying the breeze, but he wasn't here to socialize with them. Sitting on a park bench- or rather, a white marble bench, carved with the forms of angels and demons and ravens and doves upon it, because some people just have too much money to spend and really have a thing for ravens - the masked man took out the tin of cat food, opening it before placing it next to him for Whiskers to consume. For himself, there was one of those pre-made ramen bowls, with hot water he'd poured in while he was in the convenience store. "Time to eat!" |
