Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Exquip
All characters with exquip magic have a pocket dimension where they store their items and will be included because it is essential for the use of their techniques.

Tier 3
Pocket Dimension

Magic Name: Close combat exquip
Magic Type: Exquip
Tier of Magic: 3
Rank: -
Magic Description: The mage can use a pocket dimension to store their items for use whenever they require. With close combat as their main focus they can use several different kinds of melee weapons like swords, axes, and spears. They also use heavy armor and shields to protect themselves from their opponents when they get too close. Like all exquip mages they can create items included in their arsenal which can have their own effects like dealing extra damage on hit or blocking enemy attacks. However, they lack all other kinds of techniques besides weapon levitation.

Techniques: -/-
Requip - 0
Type: Requip
Range: Self
Effect: The user can change to another piece of equipment by sending equipment to and summoning equipment from their pocket dimension. A single requip use is capable of swapping one full set/suit of armour and a weapon pair for another (i.e. a sword and shield, a bow, two claws, a sword and a handgun, etc.)
Rank Progression

Battleaxe - 0
Type: Item creation
Range: Self
Effect: The mage creates a massive two-handed battleaxe to use in battle. Its total length is 150 cm with the blade being 20 cm long. The first swing of every post will deal bonus physical damage along with the physical blow and is indicated by a faint glow. The axe's item class and damage increase with rank.
Rank Progression

Tower shield - 0
Type: Item creation
Range: Self
Effect: The mage creates a durable shield to block opponents' attacks. It has a height of 120 cm and a width of 50 cm. The first physical or magical attack in a post against the wielder will be significantly weakened but not completely blocked. Magical attacks need to be of equal or lower rank than this technique to be weakened this way while higher ranked ones deal full damage and still consume the effect. The shield's item class and physical damage weakened increase with rank.

Tier 2
Pocket Dimension

Magic Name: Long range exquip
Magic Type: Exquip
Tier of Magic: 2
Rank: -
Magic Description: The mage can use a pocket dimension to store their items for use whenever they require. They can use any kind of long range weapon like a bow or a gun but also light melee weapons like daggers or knives. It does not include ranged weapons one might throw themselves like javelins or hand-axes. The armor they use is lightweight and tends to be made of leather or other material that is easy to move in. This magic also uses the element of fire to empower its attacks or create items with those kind of properties. They can use any item from their pocket dimension as a medium be it an arrow or a bullet. If they happen to possess an item with an inherent effect that is not fire magic they could also alter it with one of their techniques.

Ignite - 0
Type: Offensive
Range: Varies
Effect: The mage imbues one of the ranged weapons from their pocket dimension with fire magic. The next attack fired will have its projectile clad in flames and deal bonus fire damage along with the physical blow as well as lighting flammable material on fire. If this technique's range is different than what its projectile would normally have the lowest of the two is used.
Rank Progression

Flame Dagger - 0
Type: Item creation
Range: Self
Effect: The mage creates an iron dagger with a crimson blade. Its blade is 25 cm long and its hilt 10 cm long. Whenever they slash or stab someone with it the target will feel their flesh burning and take bonus fire damage along with the physical blow. Every enemy can only take damage once per post. The dagger's item class and damage increase with rank.
Rank Progression

Piercing Shot - 0
Type: Offensive
Range: Varies
Effect: The mage fires an empowered shot with one of the ranged weapons from their pocket dimension. It has the power to deal more damage to physical armor than regular attacks but it also deals less damage (4 ranks less to a minimum of 1) to armored opponents as a result. If this technique's range is different than what its projectile would normally have the lowest of the two is used.
Rank Progression

Tornado Shot - 0
Type: Offensive
Range: Varies
Effect: The mage charges their Wind Bow™ with magic and fires an arrow made of wind in a straight line. When it hits a target or reaches its maximum range it will explode and form a miniature tornado which will damage everyone in the area and pull them to its center until the end of the post. The tornado's damage, radius, and pull strength increase with rank.
Rank Progression

Tier 1
Pocket Dimension

Magic Name: Gravity exquip
Magic Type: Exquip
Tier of Magic: 1
Rank: -
Magic Description: The mage can use a pocket dimension to store their items for use whenever they require. They can use literally every weapon known to man and even other items that can be used in a more supportive way like rope or a lantern. In exchange they don't use any armor or defensive apparel at all. The inherent magic the mage possesses falls under gravity magic. Using their weapons ad mediums they can apply crushing pressure to their opponents, make themselves float above the ground, or increase the gravity for an opponent to hinder them. If they possess an item with a different kind of inherent magic they can make a technique to alter its effect slightly. They may still create their own items with their own effects but they need to fit with the magic's item and gravity theme.

Increase Gravity - 0
Type: Debuff
Range: Melee
Effect: The mage imbues one of their melee weapons with gravity magic for their next attack. If an enemy is hit they will experience an increase in gravity which leads to hindered movement. If they miss their attack the technique goes on cooldown regardless.
Rank Progression

Pressure - 0
Type: Offensive
Range: Varies
Effect: The mage imbues one of their ranged or thrown weapons with gravity magic to increase the damage of their next attack. When an enemy is hit by the projectile they will feel crushing pressure damaging them and pushing them down towards the ground. If they were airborne they will be forced to the ground but take no fall damage. If this technique's range is different than what its projectile would normally have the lowest of the two is used.
Rank Progression

Tie Down - 0
Type: Supportive
Range: Rope's length
Effect: The mage imbues their Rope™ with their own magic to slightly change its magical properties. Instead of just tying itself around a target it will now also find the closest surface and anchor itself there by planting one end in it. If there is no such surface within the rope's length it will simply tie itself around its target like normal. A living target caught can break free with a certain strength, a technique of equal rank, or by destroying the rope itself. If they do so the rope will be untied and return to the pocket dimension.
Rank Progression

Anti-Gravity Parachute - 0
Type: Item Creation
Range: Self
Effect: The mage creates a cloth parachute tied on their back. It gives the wearer the power to defy gravity and move around as if they were walking in the ground. Their speed, the parachute's item class, and several other factors are influenced by the technique's rank.
