"Well..." Monkey uttered, thinking. The fact that one guard escaped wasn't much good for them - there went the element of surprise. The Operator's words did make sense, though - maybe they had a chance, getting rid of all the men at once. Kinda. He was a curious fellow in himself, that much Monkey was understanding. "Well then, sounds like we'll just have to keep moving up?" Like Tokio, he too was in hiding, ducking behind several of the tables as well. From what he'd seen, there really was no more than one way out - the staircases were there, that was about it. "Well, to be honest, fighting isn't really my thing," the masked man confessed, though his sword was still drawn and in his hand. "I'm more of a talker- fast words, smooth lips, y'know?" Even as he spoke, though, the masked man was crawling towards the exit that would bring him to the next floor up. "Still, we gotta get our job done...I wonder if this man had anything with him." Dashing to the fallen security guard, Monkey had the prudence to search him, finding several useful things - a baton, a pair of handcuffs, a communication device, and, most importantly, a handgun with several rounds in it, and some to spare. "Well, look at that," the masked man uttered, cuffing one of the man's arms to a table. "Now we can be armed - do you want a gun? Better you than me, I'm not too skilled with these things; the baton probably suits me better." He threw the gun and its clips towards the Operator, weighed the baton in his hands - it felt like it wasn't just a simple metal rod. Inspecting it, he noticed a button. He pressed it. "Hey, it's even got a buzz to it!" |
