Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Technique Creation 101
Creating balanced techniques can often be a difficult task. These are a few easy steps to make your life easier.

1. Can I do it?
People often create techniques their character cannot have in the first place. Check your magic description and make sure there is at least some justification for what you are about to make. A technique needs to fit its magic's theme and tier first and foremost.

2. Read the guides
We have a big set of guides and rules you can use as reference. Chances are the technique you want to make is mentioned somewhere in there. The easiest way to find the right one is to ask an older member.

3. Shoot for the stars
Are you unsure of how strong your technique should be? Make it the most powerful you can imagine and then let staff tone it down. It's easier for a librarian to weaken an overpowered technique than notice an underpowered one and tell you to make it stronger. Don't be disheartened if it ends up being much weaker than your initial write-up either.

4. Don't hesitate to ask
If you are still not sure about something just ask a member of staff. There is usually someone online at any given time who would be willing to help you out.

Thank you. I have been a believer of this for years now. Nice to finally see someone else confirm it in writing.
