The hidden man, If you can find me Ill be here.
|
So it was Miguel's fault they were here. This was not going to go well for Miguel. Madison was already upset and she understood that it wasn't truly his fault but that didn't stop her from wanting to take her frustration out on him. Pointing ivory at Miguel she pulled the trigger a few times, not really looking where she aimed. "I didn't ask who sent you dimwit." Madison said under her breath. She got her answer from Miguel. So this was an illegal act that was going on. So no one knew what went on down here. So she could do anything to that man if she got her hands on him as she pleased. All they had to do was win. Well even if life wasn't the penalty that would be her goal anyways. Sooner she could get out of here sooner it would be before she would make someone cry or worse. "This is all saying that this man will play with the same rules as his father did. He does have a vendetta against you Miguel so I wouldn't think it would be too unexpected that he might try and make it as hard as he could on you." Her voice now a lot calmer though you could tell she was still mad but least she wasn't yelling anymore. This is something that Madison might do if she was in this man's situation. Not that, that mattered to her when it came to her frustration. She thought vengence like this was stupid. Pointing her gun down at the floor her knuckles were white from gripping the guns. They were almost the same color as her hair was currently. They had been here a while. Her hair was turning back before she left the guild but for it to turn all white it had to be some time. Then she remember that this man said two of them lost something important. Her guns were still on her so Madison wasn't sure what else could be missing. Patter herself down with her right hand she couldn't find anything she didn't have on her. "Are both of you missing something?" This felt a little strange to her. Why would you take something personal anyways? You are fighting for your life in the first place what does having a precious item benefit in these kind of terms. Turning to Natora trying to answer her question "I think our team name should have something to do with our magics. It would be kind of fitting. Though not sure what it would be. I use darkness magic so something with darkness, shadows or the night might be fitting to add to the name. "I do agree with you on that not being the name." Sure Neko won't like it but she is frustrated enough. If he is smart he won't press it but Madison doesn't have too high of hopes for Neko and her guns are still in her hands as she stands next to the bars looking down at her teammates. |

Neko listened to Miguel tell the story he told the black cat many times in the past. It was a fascinating experience, and it's one of the few things that come out of Miguel's mouth that don't bore the little black cat to death. Most of Miguel's life is boring, or similar adventures happening one after another (most of which Neko is a part off). The only thing that actually sounded interesting was his experience in Dreadzone.. Neko heard it enough times to recognize the theme of both of his first encounters. Their reactions were expected.. sort off. Natora understood that Miguel wasn't directly at fault with the situation, and even went as far as telling him that she didn't mind being in this situation because of Miguel. Madison, in the other hand, shot Miguel three times across the body. Most of the shots were on his chest which made Miguel kneel down because of the pain. He felt like someone shot his chest with a compressed air gun, or like someone with tiny but strong fists punched him in the chest three times. It hurt. Neko held back his laughter when he saw Miguel cringing in pain. Madison then told him that she didn't ask who sent Miguel. He didn't understand what she meant by it, but she looked too badass to care. Madison then started explaining her theory on the situation, while Miguel was on the ground with his arms around his chest to cover his bruised chest. She said the man in the hologram was likely going to go by his dads rules, and that he was going to make it difficult for Miguel. She was probably right. If he was following in his father's example then he will go by his shows old rules, and with this very familiar atmosphere it's even more likely that she's right. If the son loved his father then it's very likely he'll make Miguel's stay very difficult. "I agree.. ugh.. it would make sense for him to make it impossible for us to win.. or near impossible.." Miguel stood up after wobbling a little. Natora, while Miguel listened to Madison, turned to look at the wall where the hologram had appeared. She started to wonder exactly what they should choose as a name. Madison wanted to include 'Shadows, Darkness, or Night' in the name which made some sense, because her magic revolved around that and the fact was that the group wasn't exactly a good representation on what a 'light guild' should be helped enforce that name. If anything the group belonged in Quatro Cerberus if one focused only on their belief, and how they handled problems that went in their way. Miguel didn't know this, of course, but believed that Natora at least had the capabilities of assisting or adopting Miguel's ideal (which is to kill dark mages whenever one can get away with it). Miguel tried to add to the name. "How about 'Lie' or 'Hoax'? We have Neko with us, he does that a lot." And so does Miguel, but he wasn't going to say that. And so does the group, but they weren't going to say that either. Everyone wanted to kill the boss, but nobody admitted to it. A lie, or a Hoax, is perfect to add to the name. Whether the group knew it or not they were lying to each other, the guilds, and even the light mages in the world. After the names are chosen (whether in Natora's or Madison's post) the cage doors will open and the group has two sides of a hallway to head towards. However the hallways seem to curve in the same direction which meant that there was a possibility that they both connected to each other, and ultimately lead to the same room. The white tiles reflected the light well, and it looked clean. The white walls helped show this; the reflection of the group could be seen while walking down the hallway. Eventually they will open a door to a large room, about the size of a normal house, with what was 17 other people. The doors behind them closed and a hologram of the man that talked to them, but in a different and more civilized suit, appeared. "Welcome to the first level of dreadzone. Look around, because only three of you will make it to the end." The hologram looked straight ahead, which meant it didn't have an interest on who was in the room. Miguel could tell that this was recorded. "The first level is a fight till only three remain. I trust that you'll all make this interesting. The three winners are one step closer to freedom, the losers are locked up to try again in the next level.. this will continue until each of you die or continue to fight." Miguel clenched his fists. This man was psychotic. |

Natora thought abut it a moment. Did she have anything on her person that this person could actually take from her? No not really. She didn't have anything. So maybe it was the other two? Maybe Madison did have something missing. Or maybe it was Neko. Regardless, the blue haired girl shook her head and continued to think of a name for the group. "I'm not missing anything." Her eyes looked at that 'key pad' thing and finally started to add in the name of their group, taking from words that the other two have said. Night Hoax Kin. " Night form Madison, Hoax from Miguel, and Kin from me. Kin also means family or like spirits. We're like a family right? So might as well end it as that." The blue haired girl shrugged and pressed enter. "I think it could be a good enough team name." The doors opened and Natora walked out with everyone else. So it looked as if things were finally starting. As she stepped out into the open, her eyes noticed how many other people there were around them. This was a handful alright. But before she could say anything, the shark boy came back n and started explaining exactly what they had to do. Which was alright with Natora. After all, she wasn't the type of person to cringe from killing. But what about the other two? Maybe she should hold back a bit. After the message was given out, the angelic girl turned to her 'team.' "So...we have this right? Just beat everyone else and we win? Easy as pie." The girl stretched her right hand out and started to collect feathers to make her sword. Not something new, but still a great weapon. "So we have how many here? 17 people? We could each take on 5 people and have 2 spare....if the others don't turn on them. Just attack people who are being attacked first. Simple." Or at least in theory it was. But regardless, she waited for what everyone else thought. If nothing else was said, then she would start heading out and attacking. |

There was a lot to process and with Madison being angry she was having a hard time really thinking. Right now she just wanted to get out there and fight. Put a few bullets into peoples heads. Her adrenaline was rushing too so she couldn't stand still and was a little jittery, if she was a little more sensable she would be wondering if she would be good right now for the fight but since that wasn't the case she didn't care one bit. More likely to hurt or least chew someone out for not letting her participate. "That name will do or we could do something with eclipse since our powers do have that kind of sense to them or least our personalities do but what would we be eclisping darkness? Or what about Midnight?" Though she was having a hard time thinking she was trying her hardest to contribute to the team. "Either name is fine. I just want to shoot some people and I don't think Miguel wants to be my target practice anymore." Though she wouldn't mind shooting Neko too. Though her frustraction currently wasn't towards the cat but she knew that it wouldn't be hard for him to change that. Madison scanned the room after kicking open the door. She paid little attention to the hallway that she had stormed through. There seemed to be 20 people if you counted them but that wasn't divisible by 3. Not letting that confuse her she readied her guns and was ready for some action. "Well guess you are not considered as a person Neko or you are on the opposing team which means I should shoot you now right?" Madison said turning to Neko. It was more just a jab at the cat but Madison was mad enough it might actually happen. The plan normally would have meant something to Madison but with her being angry she charged in going towards her enemies that she wanted to take down. This was a crime she didn't care if the bell had rang at all she wanted to fight but she was probably going to be recklas so hopefully she didn't get herself into to much trouble. |

Just as Madison said the name Midnight, and Eclipse, the buttons on the screen automatically recognized them as key parts of the names of teams. Instead of waiting for a command, though, it suddenly started blinking on all of the letters that spelled Midnight Eclipse. Without much of a protest in Miguel's part, since he was still on the ground holding his chest and hoping that the bruises didn't mean anything broken or bleeding in the chest area. Neko was laughing and rolling on the ground. Miguel stood up once the gates opened and started to walk with the group down the hall. The hallway was white, it seemed, and the reflections could easily be seen on the ground. Miguel's hair was as uncombed as ever, and his outfit was the same as he saw this morning. He had black knives around his body still, which helped in this expedition, and he hasn't wasted a single one yet. His black cat followed behind him, walking, and using his ears to make sure that the area didn't have any extra breathing hidden behind walls. The last thing they needed was opponents popping up from the walls and trying to chop their heads off without warning. Eventually they curved down the hallway, or one of them (Miguel didn't notice which one since he was too busy checking every wall and tile in the rooms for any abnormalities. He's fallen for the old 'tile trigger' trick far too many times to go through another dreadzone without careful treading) and continued to walk down until he found a door. It seemed like his paranoia had gotten the best of him this time. Upon opening the door, behind Madison, he was faced with multiple people (seventeen in counting) that looked just as confused as Miguel, Madison, and Natora (and Neko). Then came the voice, and everything went to hell. Without warning, after he finished, all of the seventeen people looked at each other and suddenly broke into a battle to the death. While some had to use their fists to fight, others had actual weapons. One of the ones with weapons saw Madison's guns and screamed over the others, grabbing their attention. It also helped that he was holding another man by his face; he was a big dude, and much bigger then everyone else in the room. His bald head reflected some of the light from the ceiling and his tanned skin and ripped muscles showed him to be the active type. "HEY, SHE HAS TWO GUNS! WHOEVER GETS THOSE FROM HER WILL BE MY PARTNER IN THIS BLOODBATH AND WE WILL WIN OUR FREEDOM!" Being the big man in the group made him very intimidating, and being sure of himself made him a trustworthy person. Miguel sighed and looked around. The only real people with weapons, or that looked like they knew how to fight, were a monk (bald with the orange robe, and small), a man with long hair and a fancy french mustache, along with a fancy sword on his side (a rapier), and a woman with a bow and arrow. Things looked interesting.. but the fact was that non of these people had enough stats to compete with Natora, Madison, Neko, OR Miguel. Non of them had the experience of the group, or their magic. There was one thing that Miguel did not like, however. The opponent just asked the entire mob to attack Madison, and even if she was angry at Miguel, and she could take care of herself, it actually made his blood boil. Clenching his fist Miguel created a small sphere on his hand made of black smoke. It then expanded with the help of a grey spell circle until it turned into a two meter tall smoke sphere. The crowd stopped momentarily and Miguel pointed at the man that threatened Madison. "Smoke Sphere" And just like that the orb hurled itself in Miguel's speed, which was high, and planted itself right on the man and digging its spikes into his body. The sphere was powerful enough to break all of his ribs and had him fly into the air, landing a few feet from where he was. The smoke sphere continued forward and through the line until it hit the wall behind everyone, only slightly cracking it after the impact. It made a very loud clunk sound when it connected. With three people in that line, there was only fourteen left and all of the fighters that were explained. The male monk, the woman with a bow and arrow, and the nobleman with a rapier ran forward along with the group. It was now a life and death situation for them, and the team had to go. Miguel included. Neko answered Madison after the man was hit. "You know, your guns hurt. I'd rather not get shot by them. I mean, sheit, Miguel was hit and it looked like it hurt." |

Oh right, Neko could fight. Eh...he was a cat. If he wanted to take on at least two of the people he could. He was a strong independent black cat that took whatever rules were thrown at him and threw them out the window. He didn't care and would do what he wanted. Because that was Neko. But anyways. The stage was set now. The seventeen other people started to come. This was not a good plan. Not a good plan at all. For them. What these people didn't know was that the three- alright four- of them were friends. And not just any kind of friends, the kind of friends that would kill for the others. Yes. Natora would kill all these people if that meant that meant keeping both Madison an Miguel, and yes even Neko, alive. And so that was her plan. To kill as many people as her possibly could. With her sword finally done, the blue haired girl quickly grabbed the hilt and looked at the people coming after them. So she bolted forward and slashed at the first person to come close to them. And where did this girl slash at? At the throat of course. Where else? One own, a lot more to go. And speaking of more to go. It seemed as though the important people were starting to go forward. The ones that seemed like could actually fight. Well time to get at least one of them killed. Her target? Might as well be the one with the bow and arrows. She was going to be In the background the entire time. Natora could get over there without a problem. So now it was time to call forth her flying abilities. Standing there next to the body that had just fallen over, five feathers popped up. Just like the other spell, the feathers started to multiply and surround the blue haired girl. A flash of light and then the feathers that were surrounding her turned into wings; beautiful white wings….deadly white wings. Without any more time to waste, the blue haired girl went into the air and went directly for the person who had the bow and arrow. Her sword readied to go after the body. She slashed at her opponent, hoping to get a nice good blow to the mid section. |

The anger flowed through Madison way too much for her to care about the ramblings of her enemies. Some of them were going to target her well that would be fine. That would make it easier for her to attack them. Seeing a group of three or maybe four she couldn't really tell that were trying to attack her together. Madison created her black fire ball attack and sent it at them. Even if it wouldn't finish them off it would delay them some by knocking them back. Then she charged ahead as she wasn't close to being done with her attack. Then she saw another man who had a sword who had come after her, while she was being shot at by an arrow. Madison fell back as the two attacks came at her and she disappeared into the ground. The crowd for that moment were surprised and confused with what was going on. Where did the woman go and then all of a sudden she appeared behind the swordsman flying out of the ground. This shocked a few of them. Madison pulled her gun on her foe who was still confused and shot him five times in the head. Even though the gun could not kill having the pain go through ones head through the man into such a shock that he fell right there. The on lookers didn't know what to think now. The woman could disappear and knocked what looked like one of the stronger opponents in an instant. This didn't give Madison time to think though. The one girl was trying to prime another arrow. Which didn't get far as Natora had attacked her. Though there was someone else who was still after Madison's head. The one who put the 'bounty' there. That didn't last long either as Miguel made short work of him. Now the only one who had any real challenge was the Monk but she didn't think she would make it in time before he was out. So she now had to fight people who didn't even know how to use a weapon. This made her feel a little disappointed. Madison didn't want to hurt these people normally but if she was going to she wanted a real fight not a manslaughter. |

Natora defeated one of the men running at her by slicing his throat with her spell, which did enough damage to knock him out. In the distance to her was an archer woman, whom drew her bow back and unleashed an arrow at the flying mage. She was temporarily stunned by the face that the mage could fly, but now she was just trying to make sure she wouldn't get attacked/killed by the apparent angelic woman with a sword that knocked out a man with zero to no effort. Madison knocked back four of the crowd members, two of them being women with claw-like finger nails, one with a fancy white dress and the other with ghetto clothes and a mini skirt, and the other two a business man and a thug-looking man. They weren't knocked 'out' though, since they soon regained their composure and continued to run towards Madison, they did have some difficulty running as smoothly as they prior to getting hit with Madison's spell. At that moment though she slipped into her shadow and and appeared in front of the noble man with the sword. She shot him five times with her pistols. The man, feeling that much pain, staggered back and fell on the ground, panting. His sword was still sheathed, but he took it out right after she attacked. Miguel, on the other hand, had the other... eleven coming to kill/maim him. Neko was about to jump off to help attack the twelve people, but Miguel stopped him. Instead Miguel placed Neko behind him and walked forward. His skin turned black with spikes coming out of it, protruding his clothes and causing small holes to appear across his pants and shirts. All of them attempted to strike, cut, or beat on Miguel.. but all of their daggers, bats, and fists were ineffective against Miguel's steel-hard skin. He took out two of his throwing knives and started to spin around, lodging them both in the leg and shoulder of two different people in a too fast to read speed. He then, just as quickly, grabbed them from their bodies and stabbed two others in the abdomen and shoulder, picked them out and continued this process very quickly while spinning and grabbing the same knives with different hands to continue doing this in one fluid motion. The people jumped back after six of them were on the floor, bleeding, and decided to disperse and run towards Natora and Madison. Three headed to Madison while two headed for Natora. When the noble ran towards Madison he suddenly stopped when the monk, whom was supposed to be a little farther off, suddenly used his full speed to close the gap and attempt to punch Madison in the abdomen. The monk was faster then the average person, in fact average knights weren't even as fast as him. After trying to punch Madison in the abdomen with his left arm he quickly, and efficiently, attempted to punch her with his right fist. The noble jumped back, thinking this to be a battle of honor between the woman with the pistols and the monk. Miguel, after taking care of six of the civilians without killing them, ran towards Madison to assist her. Natora seemed capable of handling a woman with a bow and two lackies, Madison, on the other hand, was fighting two questionable people and three were heading behind her. The camera in the room zoomed in and out of the fight. Junior was on his chair watching this particular fight closely. His ratings were their usual number, around 9.8K. His money was at least 1k that number with every viewer, that's not including the wagers. His voice recorder was not activated so the others could not hear him. "So.. the cat does nothing. One of them seems to have shadow magic along with fire, the other some form of light magic, and the last.. despite its appearances, is smoke magic judging by the past films. They're stronger then I anticipated. Just how many strong friends is this man going to end up bringing with him to this game? First Blitz, then Indrik, now.. well they're not as strong as Blitz was, but they're still deadly. I might just make a.. 'killer' profit from this." He smirked, he was still bored but the thought of having decent fighting mages brought a smirk to his face. Judging by the past films, though, Miguel has gotten quite a bit stronger.. that much was not expected. In fact, each and everyone of his friends are stronger then he was the second time he played this game. By this point he bit his lower lip and stood up, leaving the room with the hundreds of screens all around its walls, with Midnight Eclipse's screen being the biggest one. |

So here they were. A mono e mono. It was time to finally take down this girl. That was fine. So what if there was an arrow coming at her? There was no where for her to hide. All you had to do was wait for the arrows to run out. On the other hand, this girl didn't seem like she was stupid either. No matter. It was not a problem. So what if she was getting shot at? The girl was still going to die. And so die/get hurt she was. As the arrow came at the blue haired girl, she twisted to the side to try and dodge it. But she was a bit too slow. Her exposed left arm got a cut upon the arm, just enough to make it start bleeding. Fantastic. This girl was going to die now. With Natora's sea foam eyes upon her target, she flew down to her with all the wrath of the angel of death could bring upon any single person. Her sword was poised and ready. With a swing, she sliced at the girl. If she died, oh well. It wasn't a problem for her. But if she had managed to doge the attack? Well she had other spells. Maybe she could summon up a feather to throw at this girl. Yeah. Feathers are fine. After all no one here had some kind of magic besides the three- four if you counted the cat- of them. Though she had to admit, some of these people were skilled. After she had finished with her enemy, she glanced over to see if the other two needed help with anything. Maybe needing help with killing the rest of the poor unfortunate souls that were stuck in this blood bath. Or maybe keep her friends from dying. Or maybe something else. Regardless, she glanced around for her next target or whatever. |

Taking five shots to the head was definitely impressive. That wouldn't stop her from fighting him though. Madison was going to hit him with some of her own magic. Before she could do so some things changed her mind and made her have to change tactics quickly. The monk had rushed her and if she wasn't prepared for an attack like he was there would have been no way she could have countered it. Though she did have a plan. There was no other way she would just run into a mob who wanted to kill her without being prepared to transform. Even with being enraged she had some sense to her. Becoming darkness as the fist hit her. She smashed her gun Ivory at the monk's face and Ebony towards his crotch firing two shots each. With the sudden alertness she was a little less enraged which made her notice if she kept firing at full force she would be on the ground before the battle finished. Afterwords she jumped back still a black form. Not sure what was going to happen next she was going to use her form to fight. Looking around trying to know what was in the area she saw that there was a few people who also wanted to attack her. Madison glared at them in her darkness form so that they knew she was ready for them too and hoping they got the picture that she wasn't afraid of doing the same to them. |
