Welp, he's getting an upgrade, and has 5 TP to burn on a new tech, only issue is that I haven't a clue on what the best supportive tech would be right now. He's already got a ranged laser tech, a shield tech, and a regeneration tech. I need a good 4th tech that would useful to Blitz. |

What you could have is an "Antivirus" circuit - something that lets you develop a counter-Skill/Discipline for a given Skill/Discipline that is acting as an obstacle. It wouldn't grant you "powers" though - it would be limited to the extent of what a Skill/Discipline is. I initially think that it should be limited to just the topic though - however, from what I've been told, you can freely add Skills and Disciplines justified via RP, so having the Antivirus permanently add Skills/Disciplines to your list (all themed as "counters" to some other Skill/Discipline) shouldn't be too far off. It's just a skill/discipline in the end anyway. Everybody's "Unorthodox Combat" is really starting to get obnoxious. Edited by Hyphen, Jul 18 2014, 07:04 AM.

An interesting idea, but more feasible for an end-game Archive than just suddenly acquiring new skills to counter ones you've just seen via a Pet. |

Possible, but I think that will end up just being a small AoE effect on his regen, like very small range, maybe 5m max, for a short time or something. Any other ideas are welcome, though. |

maybe he can mouth canon a friend, and give them power? or he can turn into his own body and fight |

A blast from the mouth only works as a laser blast, and I have started considering giving him a mechanical 'body' as a tech once he gets some more TP (since his stats are nearly high enough to merit him fighting separate from Blitz) |

Archive really is the most optimal character build ever via proxy and infinite potential. Anyhoo, a rank 1 long range teleport is nice and always useful. A anti-healing tech might be good too, since healing is so spammed. However I dunno how this would actually be implemented. A range-increasing tech could be nice to kite other people or to avoid being kited. |

A Range booster tech for a Pet I might consider on a different Pet (since I'm thinking of one with a more pure support focus) but Teleport isn't allowed on Pets. Also, while Anti-Healing might be nice, most mages only have just the one healing technique, if any. Not sure enough have heals to merit a full tech to counter just yet. Same with Archive - not for Pets. |
