Lavender Forest, the serene forest filled with evergreens and lavender blooming trees and flowers. Home to a variety of creatures and folk alike, one of which had been brought here against his will. The young master Cain Noven Rahl, of house Rahl, peacekeeper and doctor who never in his life and been dragged into a blunder quite this bad before. Usually anyone that would attempt to bring harm to the good doctor would be met with Rahl's trademark torture stick and the masters of torture the Mord Sith, however in this occurrence Cain was unguarded, at least he was, now he had five bad smelling bandits dragging him through what normally would be a pleasant walk in the woods. You see Cain was out and about with out his Mord Sith escort attempting to find any traveling peddlers and find some directions to the entrance to the realm od Draghorn. He had no intention of entering it mind you, he just wanted to pop his head in and call it a day. Something his faithful bodyguards wouldn't suffice to say the least. Aftering running across these foul smelling bandits that seemed to have been looking for him in the first place Cain had to say the least been quite unamused. When they attacked him they only would have been responded in kind with his pistols, not that it worked very well unless you count the light wound in one of the bandits leg. It seemed like a pretty straight forward kidnapping job, someone intended to capture Rahl and sell him or use him or who knows what some deprived people had in mind for the youthful doctor that was dragging his feet as he was being dragged along via a rope by his attackers. " I dare say, you bunch should make a brief stop at the next rivers. Your smell is quite horrendous, infact I highly doubt a brief dip would even cure you of the foul stench that you lot wear. " Cain would say loudly trying to annoy and tick off his captors, after all the less they thought the easier to trick and use they would be. |

Snow had spent her day walking in the Lavender Forest, a place she often found herself now that Poinsettia was her second home, and home to her guild family. She walked in its trees without ever really being noticed, except occasionally by the odd creature or two. She had yet to encounter the legendary Guild of wishes, though she certainly wished she could, if only to smack them around a bit. She wasn't much for liars and thieves. But she didn't actually look for them very hard either. No. Instead she was out here, just to look around, and find some peace within when she could. Guilds were surprisingly loud places. And she needed peace and silence from time to time. It was as she was walking beside one of her new favorite rivers, skipping stones along its length, that she heard the voice. It wasn't exactly loud, not over of the babbling of the rapids above her, but it was certainly distinct. She had never heard a voice quite so cultured reliever such a stinging comment. It made her smile instinctively. She moved closer to the sounds wondering just what hoity toity rich guy was yelling at his servants. There were a number of them in Poinsettia, as she had good cause to know. Instead she found herself looking at a youngish man with dark hair, being led around like a lamb to the slaughter. He wore a lab coat, of all things, and Snow found herself slightly perplexed. She could either help the guy out, not knowing if he deserved to be dragged around thus, or she could walk away. With a sigh she took her bow from her back and put an arrow to the string. All it would take is one good shot to get him free, no worries for her, no issues for him. But it wasn't to be. Not that simply any way. One of the bandits (and the guy was right, they really did smell awful) happened to not her presence in the tree line. She cursed under her breath as on of them started her way. She hadn't particularly wanted a fight, but she certainly wasn't going to argue the point. She loosed the arrow at the first man, and he actually fell on the riverbank, clutching his knee in pain. Of course, one didn't count for much in these odds. She cursed again and put another arrow to the string. Her and her recent help of all things Doctor, she thought sourly, was going to be the death of her. |

Just as it seemed Cain was starting to bite off more he could chew with annoying these guys a arrow came flying out of the woods at one of the bandits, knocking him to a river bank. Darting his eyes as fast as he could to the direction where the arrow came from Cain would call out to his would be savior. " Free me, and I swear on my honor and my house I shall see you properly rewarded! " Cain would yell as he tugged roughly on his binds still held by one of the bandits. It didn't get him very far, Cain wasn't a brute in anyway shape or form he couldn't even make the bandit budge. Groaning loudly Cain would then charge at the bandit holding the end of his binds and knock him to the ground. " Oi you little shit!! " the bandit would call out as another went to pull cain off the bandit. The remaining two bandits started to move toward snow. " find the one with two pistols! " Cain would call out as hit bit into the hand that attempted to pull him away. Only to pause and start to spit all over the bandit he was on top of. " CMON DON'T YOU GUYS EVERY SHOWER!!!!! " he would exclaim with much disgust. As the two bandits moved toward Snow one wielding a hatchet the other wielding a club, snow could see on the hip on one poking out of a large leather purse the handles of what seemed two standard make and model pistols that people could buy almost at any firearms factory. The more pressing matter being however that she had two ugly and foul smelling bandit bearing down on her! |

Snow made a face. It wasn't one of disgust so much as of annoyance. Yes she had most certainly managed to get herself into this situation. But now she had to follow through. With a sigh, she glanced up at the two brutes headed her way. She heard the doctor shout a few times, paying little heed to most of his words until he said something about the guy with guns. She assumed that they were the property of the good doctor himself, and so she figured he might actually help her win this fight, if she could do two things. Get the guns, and actually get him free. She knocked another arrow, aiming it for Big Ugly number one, and she managed to catch him in the shoulder. It wasn't a deadly wound, but she knew it would hurt like hell. The other one she ignored for the time being, as he seemed somewhat slow, and not just physically. She could tell by the look on the guy's face he wasn't expecting her to actually be able to accomplish anything, let alone take out two of his brethren, or whatever he called them. Snow knocked yet another arrow, aware that her supply was going to start running low sometime in the near future, so she couldn't afford to waste a single shot. She didn't target the ropes, but instead the hand of the man that held them. She took careful aim, and managed to hit her target, causing him to drop the ropes and cry out in pain. She smiled a little at that. The one man still running at her happened to be the one with the pistols however. That seemed rather inconvenient for her tastes. She positioned herself easily enough, the ball of her right foot held just behind her left leg. The poor guy ran straight at her, not even quite smart enough to realize she had dropped her bow to the ground, and that might spell bigger trouble for him. Nope. Instead he ran straight for her, and she easily pivoted on that one foot, so that he missed her completely and ran himself straight into the trunk of the tree behind her. She almost wanted to thank him for doing her work for her, but since he was out, that wasn't really an option. Instead she gingerly took the two weapons and walked toward her newest acquaintance. "I believe these are yours right?" she said as walked toward the man. "I'm not sure what I stopped here exactly, but I'm hoping it was worth it." |

Cain would see that the man he was on top of's hand holding the rope was shot with a arrow. This was his chance he quickly got up and kicked the second guy, the one he ahd already bitten into, and kicked the man square in the family jewels. Following up his kick to the downtown, Cain would smash the man in the back of he head with both hands using all his(very little) physical strength. Making the man drop to the ground out cold. It was at this moment that either the party of would be kidnappers were either rolling in pain or knocked out that Snow, his savior would return his guns. " That they are my dear " Cain would say taking them and began to fiddle with them. " You my friend, just stopped the kidnapping of one of Earthlands hated noble families. " Cain would say before pointing one pistol toward the injured man on the ground that had been holding his ropes and began to fire repeatedly all the while calmly placing his other pistol into his jacket. As soon as the pistol stopped due to running out of ammo Cain placed it into his jacket also. " I'm Cain Noven Rahl of house Rahl. I came to fiore to change people's ideas about my family...or at least me, but " Cain would say looking to the now beaten man that was knocked out from the amount of pain he was in, but in no way was he in danger of his life. "Some people can't seem to look past the name. " Cain would admit with a sigh before looking back to his savior looking to see what sort of response she would have before he would see to her 'reward'. Cain was very real about his current situation, everything was taken from him, and he was now lost in the woods with a women he just met, and five wounded bandits that were trying to kidnap him. Things were pretty bad, but he was far from letting that ruin his mood or the chance to get his kicks from the wounded bandit. In Cain's eyes these men knew full well what they were getting into, and should consider themselves lucky to not be in prison. |

Snow wasn't sure why she had bothered to save a noble. She hadn't expected him to be one though really. He didn't exactly look the part. She turned her head to the side as he emptied his pistol into one of the bandits. It might not exactly be right, but if it saved the brute from stealing anyone else away from their homes or families, who was she to protest. She did blink a few times, and hold her hands over her ears after the first couple of reports sounded through the forest. If the guy was trying to avoid attention, he wasn't doing it right. She somehow thought the Lavender Forest wasn't resounding with the music of guns being fired often. "Nice to meet you I suppose, Rahl. Snow White. And while a reward would be nice, its not necessary. Just doing my part to keep the balance." She gave a look around the clearing they were in. Despite the blood bandit and his friends, it was a pretty spot. "I may just continue my walk, honestly. Unless you needed something else?" The man did look a bit out of place in this forest. He didn't seem to know what to do or where to go for that matter. She gave a soft sigh. She might have to be nice and show him how to get back to the city proper. She could offer at least. "Is there somewhere you need directions to maybe? I am getting pretty used to this forest honestly, so there aren't many things I can't find." She gave him a smile, and it was actually pretty despite her efforts to be just friendly and nothing else. While she waited for him to answer she contemplated their fallen foes. She began dragging them toward a particularly thick copse of trees just a few feet away. She might not know much, but she knew that when someone came upon them, there would be trouble. It certainly couldn't hurt to circumvent that now could it? So she moved them, one at a time in that direction, taking her spent arrows out of part of the men and cleaning them enough to make them reusable. Whatever was left over, she simply broke and threw into the river. When she was done, she erased her the trail left from the dragging as best she could, replacing pine needles and things so that it didn't look too unnatural. That done, she rinsed her hands in the river as well. "You were right. Those jerks did need a bath." |

Cain couldn't help but smile " Its a dear pleasure to meet you lady snow. You have my deepest thanks for your vigorous rescue, that being said, I can't just let you leave unrewarded. I will not let that stand. " he would explain rather formally before starting to glance around him a bit more trying to get his bearing of just where they were. It was about this time Snow offered some directions as him being lost after being kidnapped would only be the logical conclusion. " Aye yes I would like some direction. Perhaps you would be so kind as to be my guide. " Cain would say as he tucked his hands in his pockets and looked upward to the canopy as he started to clean herself off after moving the disgusting and foul smelling bandits.. " If you guided me to the guild of wishes, I can see you well rewarded. " Cain would say almost on que as if he knew of the area but still wanted a guide. In truth Cain did know nothing of the area, but he knew key factors of the area, the draghorn, and the guild of wishes both are keen points to the forest, besides its dense tree coverage. Cain's plans in the forest changed the moment he was kidnapped and now would revolve around this girl and his kidnapping. He was earnest in his means to pay her back but on how he aimed to do so surely wasn't what she would expect, nor the fact of being a guide to one of the most hated noble houses in earthland would seem every day, even more so a noble that was dressed so out of class, almost as if he was common folk. |

Snow gave a small sigh. A noble dressed as a doctor, kidnapped by random bandits who wanted directions. Why did she never fail to get herself into these situations? She smiled at him just the same, certain that trying to be helpful would be more advantageous than simply staring at him dumbly. "You are more than welcome. I couldn't just let them kidnap a..." She looked over at the place the dead body had been mere moments before. "Innocent? man." There was certainly a questioning quality in her tone when she said it. But that couldn't be helped really. After all, the innocent didn't go around shooting their former captors. She waited patiently as he explained where he was intent to go. She shook her head, slightly amused. "I have been wandering this forest for weeks. I have yet to find any hint of the location of the Guild of Wishes. I couldn't show you how to get there if I wanted to Rahl. And to be honest, it would most likely be bad for my temper if I did find them. Or at least bad for their health." She wasn't one to put much stock in the snake oil sellers of the world. Too much prior experience with them she supposed. It led her to want to do them harm, knowing how many times people like them had nearly been her demise when she had needed help the most. As it was, she was lucky to have survived their attempts to poison her or turn her for their own purposes. Some of her own captors though, had been far less fortunate than she. Of course the more she considered this, the more her thoughts turned to punishment of people like them. She had spent four hard years teaching herself discipline to protect the innocent people of this world. That didn't mean that she couldn't protect them in other ways as well. She looked back at the man she had saved. She still wasn't overly fond of nobility of any kind, but she wasn't against taking out a few of the more ... impure souls of this world. "But...If you like, we can search together I suppose. I see no real harm in you having a kind of guard on your journey. Especially if you attract this much trouble on a regular basis." She swept her arm out and around the clearing where blood still showed darkly in some parts of the soil, despite her attempts to cover it. "So long as you don't expect me to behave myself once we reach the place." She gave a grin. She might not like him, but the beast within scented blood. She might as well give its run when she got the chance. |

Cain chuckled lightly " Misbehaving is part of my speciality, least thats what my guards tell me. " Cain would explain to the girl as he removed his hands from his pockets and began to walk down the path. " Well knowing is half the journey. Speaking of journey, we may not be to far off our mark. These foul smelling men, were quiet particular on following this path. Thus my educated guess would be it will lead them to the guild of wishes, or within a reasonable distance of it. " Cain would explain as he tilted his head back and forth examining the path ahead of them, making sure to face the direction he was being directed down before his escape with the aid of Snow. "My best guess is that someone at the guild of wishes commissioned my capture and they were on their way to claiming their reward, in matter of selling me. " Cain would say in a bit of a serious tone as the depth of his voice got deeper for a moment. " So shall we see who's lurking in this guild of wishes, and misbehave? " Cain would say with little pause before he would start walking down the path. Cain had full intention of now going to the guild of wishes, not to find payment for Snow but to sell himself and foil the plans of the person trying to capture him. He would of course reward Snow for aiding him in this rouse, but none the less the every determined Cain Noven Rahl would not let anyone underhandedly hinder his plans to make a new foundation for House Rahl here in Fiore. This buyer intended to hinder his plans quiet a bit by hiring people to capture him, it would make him have to spend more time keeping himself more secure, however Rahl was no easy target, nor would he allow this threat to go unanswered. Even with out his guards, Rahl's power was still quiet present for Rahl's super power? Was his silver tongue and medical skills, he could make allies any where, and those that were enemies would find themselves in his gun sights. |

Snow listened politely as Rahl spoke. She thought perhaps she could see where he was going with this, there was only one tiny problem as far as she could see."So what you'd like me to do, is lead you in as a captured prisoner for Guild of Wishes? Its not bad, as far as plans go, but won't they know I'm not the men they sent?" She gestured innocently to her rather prominent curvature. Surely he could see this was going to be difficult...Unless they lied a little. Or perhaps a lot. "We could tell them I intercepted them bringing you in. In which case, I suppose it would be more than a little understandable that I would want whatever reward they were initially promised."She could foresee this having its own set of issues. But she didn't mind, since she knew what to expect. And stirring up trouble seemed to be something she was quite good at all in all. Especially lately. She was certainly glad that her guild tattoo wasn't visible, or else the men they intended to meet might never believe her. She shook her hair to make the dark strands come loose from their bindings. That should keep anyone from spotting the mark on the back of her neck. "All right. I'm ready when you are. I'll let you call the shots on the specifics of this little prank. And I promise to behave, until its time for me not to." She gave him a wicked little grin, and waited patiently for him to start explaining what it was he wanted her to do precisely. She also took a good look around the forest, thinking that the day was wearing on rather quickly, but hoping it was just the canopy of the trees making it seem as though twilight was drawing in. She wasn't much for meeting her enemies in the dark. But she was all for misbehaving, at least in this scenario. |
