Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

She hadn’t fought him off, so that was a good sign at least. He was slightly worried he’d pushed the line with her this time, but she’d come to take his arm. He was about to lead her down to his room to get his camera and then to the garden, but she stopped him short by turning him and laying one on him. Her bra fell forgotten to the ground as her fingers played over his arms. His hands had slipped to her hips, and when she pulled away he looked down into her beautiful, dark eyes.

He searched them, seeing the same longing he knew had been apparent in his moments ago, and the roguish grin broke across his face as he lowered his forehead to hers. “I’d like that.” His voice was raspy, and he was suddenly grateful Alexa had made this particular dress out of a silk that was particularly anti-wrinkles. His arms circled her waist, and with a deft movement, he had lifted her off her feet and spun, pinning her against him, trapped between him and wall so she could straddle him to hold herself up as well. He kissed her slowly, reveling in her taste. His hands however, moved to her knees beneath the silk, slowly pushing the dress up as his fingers traced the outside of her thighs.

His fingers toyed with her panties on the edge of her hips, lightly snapping it against her skin as he grinned and trailed kisses down her neck, approaching the low neckline of the dress. He nudged it slightly lower with his chin before picking a spot and stopping at the top of her bosom. Slowly, he bit down and sucked, leaving a bright new hickey right at the edge of where her dress would cover, though it wouldn’t actually cover the mark. He was about to go lower when the doorbell rang, and he groaned.

“I forgot the kids were coming back…” his voice was raspy, but he slowly pulled away, lowering her to the ground. He kissed her once more quickly, then let go and started smoothing the dress back into place over her body, though probably more suggestively than he needed to. Gently pushing her hair back into place, he smiled and hoped the kids didn’t know what a hickey looked like, because she now had two that were visible. Thankfully, it was three of the younger ones coming.

With a smile, he took her hand and started pulling her to the front door once more as he promised softly, “I hope you know this is only a postponement. That I can promise you.” Heat flashed through his gaze as he smiled that rogue smile he’d been perfecting that day, apparently. As they got to the door and it rang again, he grinned, checked that they both looked presentable, then opened the door. “Hey guys!”

“Mister Zen!” Jason, Tyler and Arianna all grinned at him, though Arianna of course focused on his hand holding onto Melody still and she frowned. Reluctantly he let go of Melody to bend down and envelope the three of them in a bear hug, which they all gleefully returned as he casually scooped them up, bags and all. Turning to Melody with the three munchkins in his arms, he said cheerfully, “This is Tyler and Jason, and of course you’ve met Arianna.”

“Nice to meet you miss!” Chorused the two boys, followed by Ari’s jealous little glare. Zen laughed and carried the three of them to the kitchen, setting them down once more as they stared incredulously at the food. Glancing at Melody, he grinned and said, “By the way, you’re not coming near the food in that dress. Tell me what goes. Jason will get me the food, Tyler will get me the containers, I’ll pack it up and Ari will put it in the bag again. Okay you three?” He glanced at his little cohorts, who all chorused with an “Okay Boss!”

He grinned at Melody and awaited her instructions. He’d requested these three because they knew their way around a kitchen, and could hoist the weight. He smiled and said to Melody, “Just make sure you keep enough for you to eat. I’m pretty sure you cooked everything edible in the house.” He grinned.

Beneath that grin though, there was a darker layer. That ‘later’ was clearly still forefront in his mind.

Honesty without tact is cruelty.

She was more than a little flustered when the doorbell rang. Her mind had been elsewhere...obviously. And she gave herself a good talking to even as Zen adjusted the dress and her hair so as not to give the kids anything to remark about. She didn't want it getting back to his sister that the kids had met a disheveled looking female when she hadn't even had a chance to make an impression herself. She gave a sigh, ignoring the heat in her cheeks and the way Zen looked back at her. She moved forward, her hand in his as he opened the door like he belonged here doing so. She stifled a grin. He was already comfortable here. That wasn't a bad thing. Not in her book anyway.

She had already moved to help the kids gather the food when he stopped her. The munchkins were too cute to stand really. The way they treated him further cemented her sentiment that there was indeed far more to him than he first let on. She shook her head slowly at his comment, realizing he was worried about the white fabric. "Uh..Well you can have everything on the counter there, and I suppose just leave the things that are sitting on the island in the middle." The little ones looked askance at her, suddenly wondering if there was indeed enough containers for all the food. "And of course, you're more than welcome to leave enough out for you to eat up when you're done." This elicited more looks of disbelief. She was more than willing to feed the littles. She had a soft spot for them as much as she did for creatures, and these looked a bit underfed in her humble estimation.

She watched quietly as they moved things this way and that, accomplishing what needed to be done with an astonishing amount of speed. In the end she disobeyed Zen anyway, pulling down a few plates from the cupboard, and asking each child in turn what they would like out of the slew of food choices. She ended up with Tyler having a plate of pancakes, extra sausage and bacon on the side. Arianna, being stubborn and still not particularly liking her hostess, managed to overcome that in order to tell Melody she wanted a plate full of fruit, and some cheese too if that was okay. Jason- possibly the scrawniest and definitely the bunch, asked for something small. He was turning and turning his little hat in his hands as he took in what was still a plethora of food. Eventually, Mel just made him a plate with a little of everything on it.

"Let's make a picnic out of it shall we?" She grabbed the blanket from the back of the couch and herded the kids as well as Zen out the back door into the garden. She spread it out quickly, and she sat on one corner as the little ones took turns eating their food and exclaiming over the beauty of the garden in full bloom. She would have to remember to have a party of sorts for them in the near future. Let them see the lights at night. She had a feeling the little girls would love it most, since it would make it look magical.

When the little ones had eaten they took turns thanking her, quite prettily honestly, before giving her sticky hugs and kisses. She followed them in long enough to wash faces and hands, her instinct to protect and mother them taking over. "Thank you so much for being so helpful. Come back whenever you like." She waved at them happily as they left, careful to wait til they were fully gone before closing the door. She didn't like the thought of them walking alone, but she knew they would be safe. No one in this town was that cruel. Or at least, they better hope they weren't or she would set fire to them personally and with relish.

"All right, we're in the garden." she said quietly as she went back outside. "Might be safer out here after all."

Zen had cheerfully and quickly packed up the food, managing to store it in the right sized containers rather well, matching them efficiently so that nothing was wasted or smashed much at all. After all, he wanted the kids to see it looking beautiful. It would be an excellent treat for most of them. As he finished and Mel started making up plates for the little ones, disregarding his order, he simply smiled and slipped into his room, grabbing his camera unobtrusively before rejoining them just in time to be herded out with the children.

As they had eaten and exclaimed, he had taken pictures of all of them without them really noticing. Melody’s attention was focused on the kids, and they were focused on her, the garden and their food. He had specifically turned off the sound so the clicking wouldn’t draw their attention to his lacrima camera. He had bid them goodbye with waves, letting them save their hugs for her. He simply made sure they got the bags, then waited in the garden as Melody let them out. Sitting on the blanket as she came back out and somewhat timidly pointed out it might be safer out here, he grinned and stood up, walking over to her.

“Safer? Would that imply that being around me is dangerous?” There was a teasing glint in his eyes as he bent down, stealing a brief kiss from her. “Guess I’d better test that theory, then. Let’s have you make love to the camera.” He smirked. He would bring out every aspect that he could. Gently leading her into the garden, he had her act naturally, he had her pose, spin, make faces at the camera. He would bring the blanket closer to the flowers and have her sit down, taking close ups as he traced his free hand along her ankles.

“Last few shots, I swear.” He said nearly half an hour later. He had her stand a short distance away as he fiddled with the settings on his camera, then positioned it on top of the window sill of the house, so that it would catch her and the area around her perfectly. She was just slightly off center, and the garden behind her was beautiful. He clicked the button, and a red light started flashing slowly. He grinned and ran over to her, his arm reaching out to hold her close to him as he said simply, “Sing for the camera, my little songbird...” He smiled as the first flash went off, then turned, pulling her into him as he bent down to kiss her. Five seconds later, the second flash went off.

He scooped her up off her feet princess style, his forehead meeting hers as he smiled down into her eyes. The flash went off a third time. He was laughing now, as the next shot he said, “Make love to the camera…” As the flash was just about to go off, he slid a hand down her thigh, pulling the dress so it exposed a good portion of her legs and let the dress trail beautifully down. Setting her down, he wrapped his arms around her, setting his head on top of hers and smiling as they both faced the camera for another flash. “Anything you want to do?” He asked. A few more adorable poses and the same amount of flashes later, he knew the last one was coming. With a grin, he bent over and picked her up, throwing her over his shoulder away from the camera, so it could see them both. Hand firmly on her bottom to hold her in place, he grinned cockily at the camera like he had won a prize.

As the last flash went off, he grinned and set her down, laughing softly before he kissed her. “Thanks for playing along.” His eyes flashed darkly. “However, I think I’m ready to continue what we left off earlier. Shall we go back inside?”

He offered her his hand, his eyes searching her face for any sign of doubt. While he said they would continue… if she really changed her mind, he would find a different way to deal with the *that* problem…

Honesty without tact is cruelty.

Mel had taken his hand without hesitation. That had been three days ago and Jayden still wasn't back from her thing. She was pacing the large house thinking of her friend and how much she wanted her home so she could tell her everything immediately. And of course her thoughts kept turning to her enigmatic thief and how much she missed him. She kept hoping to hear from him, and even though he had left her at least three different numbers to call him when she decided to, she felt as though she would be interrupting. In the end, he had been pried out of her house on the day she got the dress because his sister needed him for "Urgent Business" as the card had read. So she had stared at the phone and never used it. She had, however, worn his too small shirt to bed every night since he had been gone. Unfortunately it didn't smell like him. She had her pillow for that.

She was daydreaming again, working on her second cup of coffee, when she heard the doorbell ring and she nearly dropped the cup. She couldn't resist the heart thumping urge that it might be him. She very nearly ran to the door, only a little sad when it was the postman instead. She still managed a smile, and a nice greeting at any rate. He had several packages with her name on them. She wondered for a moment if Jayden was shipping things she bought home, but it didn't take long for her to realize this was not the case at all.

She took the packages in the house, noting that the script on the front was very professional and had a label reading simply 'Zen's' in curvy letters. There were two packages and she opened them carefully after sitting down on the couch. The first package was larger and flatter. She opened it quickly, her curiosity getting the best of her. Inside were six photographs, enlarged to framing print size. They were beautiful, and each of them depicted the house or the garden in the most amazing way. She thought she had never seen anything quite so beautiful in her life.

Opening the second package, she found a huge stack of photographs, tied with a silver ribbon. It held all the photographs from the garden, and the pictures she hadn't known existed until now that came from the garden. Her face and the faces of the children from that day were amazing. It also held prints of all the pictures he had taken that first night when her garden had so closely resembled a fairy land from a children's tale. On the bottom was a frame that held five larger photos in a line. The first was the first photo he had taken of her in her pajamas. The second was one of her laughing with the kids. The third was one of her in the garden, her dress flared out around her as she spun and laughed. The fourth was the best photo of the two of them. The fifth was a shot of her from the bare shoulders up, her hair spread out beautifully on the pillows around her as she looked like she slept as an angel, a beam of sunlight highlighting her face perfectly. Below them were the scripted words in silver, Thinking Of You.

It didn't take her long to find frames for her favorites, or places to put the ones she had yet to buy frames for. She hung up the large frame on the wall facing her bed. She wanted these memories with her always. And once she was done with that, she took a deep breath...and picked up the phone.......
