Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

He had smiled as he followed her around the house, hand in hand. He had oooeh and awed at appropriate points, making light conversation about the various plans they had and making small suggestions. He was a designer, after all! He did note that she didn’t show him her room, though by process of deduction he knew where it was. As they reached the end of the tour, nearly an hour later, he grinned. “Why thank you M’lady! This place is going to be absolutely fantastic by the time you’re through with it!”

He laughed as she pointed out his messy clothes, grinning as he said, “I didn’t think you minded my choice of clothing too much, seeing all the times you checked me out.” He teased her, while at the same time checking her out again. Her lacy pink camisole perfectly matched the cute pajama pants with pink bunnies in an adorable fashion. It was as he admired her that he got left behind and she opened the doors to the garden once more. He laughed as she stuck her tongue out, challenged him and then took off into the night.

He dashed to the door, closing it gently behind him so that the bugs wouldn’t get in the house, then turned to see her disappearing among the foliage of the garden. Laughing, he sprinted into the paths of their large yard, looking for the telltale signs of pink bunnies. “I’m gonna get you!” He called out teasingly as he ran through the grass without caution. But… where had she gone? He continued to run, figuring she had hid out somewhere, and it wasn’t until he reached the corner of the garden that her trap was sprung.

She jumped out in front of him, and he skidded to a stop so that he didn’t bowl her over, seeing as he’d been running. However… he hadn’t quite been able to stop in time, so as he propelled towards her, he simply scooped her up and threw her over his shoulder like a sack of very attractive potatoes. “Gotcha!” He laughed, but instead of stopping he started to spin in the first open space he found, turning a few times before he slowly came to a stop, laughing.

“I win!” He grinned as he changed his hold, sliding from sack-on-the-shoulder to princess style before he unceremoniously sat on the ground, her on his lap as he laughed. Grinning and keeping a light hold on her so she remained trapped, he teased. “Do I get a prize?”

Yeah, he’d probably need to shower again before the night was over, if only so he didn’t get dirt all over their new house and bed! Now that he’d stopped though, the night was starting to catch up to him. It was probably two in the morning, and here they were playing in the garden. Not that he minded, of course.

He was rather enjoying having her in his arms again, if truth be told.

Melody let out a soft 'umph' as she was thrown over Zen's shoulder. The spinning actually made her dizzy a bit, even as she laughed and told him to stop. He sat down with her rather quickly, and even though he asked for a prize, she was tempted to tell him no. She wasn't sure if getting involved with him was actually the best answer. But she didn't feel like she had much of a choice. Her heart was being a stubborn little creature, and shushing her brain quite frequently. She gave a sigh and a smile. "I didn't kill you for breaking into my house. Isn't that enough?" She gave a laugh, letting him know she was joking. "If it wasn't, then I suppose you can have one more." She leaned in close, heart pounding, and gave him a very light kiss on the lips, just an innocent peck really. But something about it was a changing point for her anyway. She had been balanced on the edge, and now she had chosen the path which led to her caring too much about the man with whom she was sitting.

Speaking of sitting...She jumped up smiled at him. She had been staring. Not a good plan. Especially in close proximity to a half naked man in her estimation. An attractive half naked man no less. She coughed, aware that she was blushing again. "So...I suppose we should be checking on your clothes again." She figured they were probably dry by this point. At least she hoped so. The more clothes the man wore, the less tempted she would be after all.

She walked slowly back toward the house, hoping that the dryer would be done. it wasn't until she was inside she remembered that the music was still playing. She gave a soft sigh. The house itself seemed to be working against her as far as trying to stay away from romantic entanglement of any kind went. She cleared her throat, at a loss for what to do without it feeling slightly awkward. She chewed the inside of her lip. When the buzzer for the dryer went off, she jumped and made a quick dash for the dryer. She pulled his shirt out, silently thanking her few helpful stars. She made her way back to the living room, holding the shirt in front of her, kind of like a shield. "Here you go." She didn't even consider how odd it looked, her holding up just his shirt, unfolded, like a prize.

Zen had remained grinning as he watched the play of emotions across her face, even if she wasn’t aware her uncertainty was showing. He grinned and laughed with her as she spoke about not killing him, and he found himself quipping back, “Well, I suppose that’s a good start…” But then she finished her sentence and he found himself losing thought as she pecked him.

He couldn’t help the ridiculously happy grin that crossed his face for some stupid reason. So he just grinned at her as she jumped up nervously while blushing and coughed. “Sure, they should be dry by now.” His grin had been reduced to a sly smile, and he got up, following her back to the house. She was shifting nervously, and he was about to say something when the dryer went off and she shot to it like a rocket was propelling her.

He smiled and shook his head, making his way to the living room again, though he was careful not to sit down. Now that these pants were dirty, he didn’t want to touch anything again. He had to laugh as she came back holding his shirt like a shield. Approaching her slowly, almost as if she were a wild animal he was going to spook, he reached out and instead of taking the shirt tilted her chin up so she would meet his gaze.

“Melody… it’s okay. I promise to act like a gentleman. You don’t have to be nervous.” He leaned forward, brushing his lips against her forehead again before smiling and taking the shirt from her fingers. He looked at it for a moment, puzzled. Why did it look different? Something was off, but he couldn’t put his finger on it until he tried to sling it over his shoulders… and couldn’t. He grunted somewhat comically, trying to pull it over his muscles… before sighing and giving up, shrugging it back off of his arms.

Looking a bit sheepish, he said simply… “I uh… don’t do the laundrey. It must’ve been dry-clean only…” Yup, that was right. His very expensive silk shirt had shrunk. He was willing to bet his pants had too, since unknowingly he’d washed them on the hot setting, and put the setting near the top for the dryer as well. Either way… his washing disaster was actually a problem, seeing as… well, he had absolutely nothing fit for wearing inside the house at this point.

He smiled at her and asked teasingly, “You don’t by any chance have an extra large robe or something that I might be able to borrow?” He grinned, then added. “If you have one with matching bunnies, that would be perfect. I think the pink would be the perfect color for me.” His eyes twinkled with amusement. He would be fine with less, and technically he could just wear the boxers he had on underneath his pants… but he figured that might be just a little bit uncomfortable for her, since she was trying to clothe him as quickly as possible.

But oh… how he was tempted to not be a gentleman…

When Zen leaned in close and kissed her forehead, she did indeed blush again. She was almost annoyed with herself for being constantly in a state of embarrassment around him. She honestly wanted to scream at herself for bring silly enough to like him, and for being silly enough to be embarrassed when he showed her attention.

Melody had to stifle another laugh as she watched Zen struggle to get his shirt on. It just...wasn't working if she were to be honest. The fabric had no stretch to it, and she cocked her head to the side in curiosity as she watched him try for it for a few minutes before realizing it wasn't going to work at all. Then she couldn't help herself. She had to laugh then, it was just reactionary. She laughed hard enough to make her face hurt.

When he threw it back at her, she couldn't help smiling...Until he mentioned the bunny rabbit robe. He was apparently without anything clean to wear now, and that was an issue. At least for her. She didn't want him walking through this house in anything that might even be slightly construed as naked. She tried hard not to make the first face that came to mind, which was panic. Instead she stood in the middle of the living room, on finger tapping her chin while she thought. She laughed a little and snapped her fingers. "Give me one second."

She turned and ran up the stairs to her room, shuffling through her closet fairly quickly. She finally found what she was looking for, giving a small chuckle as she hid the garment behind her back. She returned, a mischievous glint in her dark eyes. She had every intention of giving him exactly what he was asking for. At least in this instance.

She pulled it out, unfurling a super plush white robe covered in adorable pink bunnies. She handed it to him with a grin. "There we go handsome. Try that on for size, and we shall see if we can get to bed." It wasnt til the words left her mouth that she realized that sounded like waay too much of an invitation. "Sleep! I meant to say sleep." She face palmed as she walked into the other room. What the hell was wrong with her lately?

Zen grinned. He couldn’t help it. Her barely concealed panic was quite hilarious to watch, and as she said to give her one second, he quipped teasingly, “I’m not going anywhere… Nudity is frowned upon in most places.” Absently he stared out the window before going into the kitchen briefly and turning off the garden lights and returning to the front room as he waited.

He grinned when she returned, noticing the glint in her eyes. She probably… yup! He couldn’t help it, he laughed when out came the fluffy white robe with pink bunnies. When she said they could get to bed, he raised a brow and she quickly corrected herself without even seeing before walking into the other room. He was still laughing as he shrugged the fluffy creation onto his shoulders. It fit, but only barely. Leaving his boxers on, he shrugged out of his pants. Despite the fact that it fit on his shoulders, it didn’t really close, so he simply tied it at the waist mostly closed over his boxers. They peeked out from under it, given that the robe only reached mid-thigh for him.

Padding silently into the kitchen, he grinned and slipped his now fluffified arms to poke her sides gently from behind as he said cheerfully, “I think this really suits me. Wouldn’t you say?” Grinning as she turned around, he struck a model pose to show off his fluffy bunnies to full advantage. It was a good thing he was secure enough in his masculinity to pull this off. He looked all serious for about a second, then started to laugh as he shook his head.

Offering his hand to Melody, he asked simply with a twinkle in his eye, “Now that we appropriately matching for the ball. I believe I promised to beg for one last dance.” As nice as his bunny robe was, he hadn’t quite figured out what he’d do in the morning. Probably slip out before most of the city was up and get something from the shop.

But he’d cross that bridge when he came to it. For now… a dance!

Melody groaned inwardly when he appeared in the kitchen. This was supposed to be funny for her. Not make things worse. How was she supposed to concentrate now? The robe was way too short, and it didn't even close all the way. Besides which, he still managed to look handsome..hot even, in a pink bunny covered robe. She would have face palmed, but she didn't want to make it too obvious her little prank had backfired. Instead she gave a laugh as he struck his little pose and turned her head, determined to ignore anything even slightly alluring about this man.

"Suits you just fine if you ask me. Perfect color and everything. The bunnies though, that is just a stylish bonus." She gave a small laugh, knowing that he was actually probably the only man she knew who could possibly pull it off. Not just pull it off, she thought, but actually make it work for him. When he held out his hand for another dance, she couldn't help smiling. Okay. She was being an absolute idiot. But she couldn't, at that moment, think of a sensible reason why she shouldn't want to dance with him. She still believed very much that he would keep his word, she just wasn't sure about the rest. And right now, she didn't need to worry about it too much.

She put her hand in his, and moved in close to him, already humming along with the music filtering softly through the house. It was beautiful, and easy enough to keep up with. She put her head back on his shoulder and gave a soft sigh. He was handsome, charming, intelligent, and from what she had seen kind and gentle. But he was also a thief and an able liar. She just really wished that he had been sometime normal, or that Jayden had really sent him. She wanted to very much to fall for him, but as it was, she knew she couldn't. She sigh turned to a yawn which she quickly hid. The clock above the mantle read 1:30. Damn it was late. And here she was in the arms of a handsome man she couldn't quite bring herself to fall, but couldn't keep herself from caring about.

Story of my life... she thought vaguely, and then continued dancing. She had no wish to move out of his arms. Not now, and probably not ever. She might as well enjoy the moment while it lasted.

“I think so. I’m quite attached to bunnies, after all.” Zen had grinned as he responded. He was immensely satisfied that she moved without hesitation into his arms though, or at least without visible hesitation. He couldn’t help but realize he loved how perfectly she fit against him as he held her close, swaying gently to the music as she hummed along.

How had this happened? He couldn’t help but marvel at the turn of events the night had taken from what he had originally planned to do. Yet… he didn’t regret anything in the slightest. Sometimes, he thought, fate could actually be a good thing to believe in. She was so different from everyone else… and he’d shared more with her in the few hours they’d been together than just about anyone save Alexa knew about him. Certainly no one else had any idea he was even a mage, for the most part.

“Penny for your thoughts?” He asked, having noticed her sigh and yawn despite her best efforts to hide it. It was getting late, but he didn’t really want to let her go… He’d drag every minute before they separated out, wanting to spend as much time with her even though he himself was getting tired. They probably shouldn’t stay on their feet much longer… and that’s when inspiration struck his sleepy mind.

Slowly moving their sway back to the front room and toward the long comfortable looking couch that was one of the few decorations there, the movement was almost imperceptible, as he had done it slowly over the course of the song. As the next one started, he pulled her slowly against him, before lifting her weight as he effortlessly and fairly gracefully slid onto the couch. As it was, he was lying with his back on the couch, head on the armrest. He’d moved so that she was simply resting on top of him, his arms holding her close as he whispered softly, “Do me a favor and pretend we’re still dancing. I’m not ready to let you go just yet… so just… stay like this for a few minutes. Please?”

It was a gentle plea. If she tried to get up, he’d let her go… but he didn’t want to. Absently, one hand found her hair, twirling a few of her locks through his fingers, even as he struggled to keep his eyes open and not yawn.

It might be cliché, but in this moment… he didn’t want to miss a thing.

She swayed with him to the music, moving softly this way and that, her lids getting heavier though she didn't want to say so. She was trying to keep this moment going, keep him for as long as she could. She didn't particularly want to let him go. Melody shook her head at his question, giving him a smile and a muttered, "Nothing important." She hadn't even noticed he was moving them through the house honestly, until they landed on the couch. Even then her tired mind took a moment to register she was no longer vertical. She looked at him in something of a panic again, but he asked her so sweetly to just lie still and let him hold her.

She couldn't quite resist. She laid her head on his shoulder and gave a soft sigh again. She seemed to be doing that a lot tonight, and it was beginning to annoy her. She snuggled closer as he ran a hand through her hair, sleepy beyond belief but almost afraid to allow herself the luxury, lest he disappear as suddenly as he had appeared.

"Zentyr?" She made quite the effort to sit up and give him a serious look. She wanted him to know she meant what she was going to say. She began blushing before she started to speak properly, which should have been his cue that she was going to be ... well...a bit girly in her own estimation. "I just wanted to say, in case you decide to pull a vanish in the morning, that I....I really....um..."

She huffed at herself. What the hell was she doing? Why couldn't she complete a sentence? It was ridiculous. All right. She had always been more a woman of action anyway. So she just scooted herself up and gave him another, longer, slightly less innocent version of the kiss he had received in the garden. Hey. If it got the point across, she would deal with the consequences later. "If you pull a vanish, feel free to un-vanish at any time you like."

So saying she did move, but only slightly, so that she was laying beside him on the couch, snuggled up against him and, for the moment anyway, perfectly content. She wanted to see him again, and she really wanted him to stick around. She would have to talk to Jayden about him becoming a semi-regular visitor in the near future. Whenever she got back from her political thing. Til then, she had made her point with Zen. "Good night." and she promptly fell asleep in his arms, a smile on her lips.

He wasn’t so sure it was nothing important, but he let it drop. She looked so tired… And yet he’d felt her tense beneath his fingers as she realized they were laying down. He couldn’t help but heave a silent sigh of relief when she seemed to give in and snuggle closer. Unconsciously his arms tightened around her, holding her gently. However, it seemed mere seconds before she was lifting herself, and he released her to sit up.

“Yes Melody?” He responded quietly, silently resigning himself to her telling him it was time to go to their separate beds. Which is why when she blushed he tried to bring himself back from the groggy state of mind he’d drifted into. Then she started talking about vanishing, and he sighed inwardly. He wasn’t quite sure how to assure her that he had no intentions of vanishing whatsoever, but she was having a hard time finding words and he hadn’t formulated his own response yet when she moved closer.

If he hadn’t been fully awake before, the kiss served like an electric shot to his system. He actually got a chance to kiss her back briefly before she pulled away and told him he could always come back. His grin was idiotic, but he couldn’t keep the smile off of his face as she laid down against him, her back fitting snugly against his chest. His bottom arm supported her head and wrapped lightly around her shoulders while his left arm went around her waist, loosely holding across her stomach.

She said goodnight and basically passed out against him as he whispered softly, “Don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere. Sleep well, Melody…” Not that he would at this point. Despite his earlier tiredness, he was now wide awake. He was actually kindof glad she was asleep, because otherwise she’d feel him straining against his pants. It was a good thing he’d promised to be a gentleman, or he’d be seriously tempted to try and wake her up… As it was, he decided to get a tiny bit of revenge.

He placed a gentle kiss on the back of her bare shoulder, before softly sucking on it softly for a few minutes, leaving a nice shiny hickey. He grinned as he realized her cami had come up a little as well, revealing about an inch of skin between pants and camisole. And her belly button, though he couldn’t see it. Still, he couldn’t help it. Thanks to her, he was now wiiiiiiiiiiiiiide awake. So he gently traced that inch of skin, sticking his pinky finger into her belly button to feel her squirm slightly in her sleep.

After nearly an hour of deep breathing and just watching her sleep, he finally drifted off, holding her to him. In dreamland, he was completely unaware that his hands shifted during the night as he hugged Melody.

In his sleep, he smiled and dreamed of slow dances.

Honesty without tact is cruelty.

Melody awoke as the rays of the sun filtered through the front windows of the house, bouncing back at her from the shining hardwood floors. She opened her eyes, feeling the warmth of Zen at her back, but still cold since they hadn't bothered with a blanket. She took a moment to get her bearings, and when she did, she turned a few different shades of pink. Again.

Zen was still asleep, made more evident by his soft snoring and the slight rise and fall of his chest against her back. But more than that, his hands had moved during the night. One was lying on her chest. Ok, well, lying probably wasn't the correct descriptive word here. It was actively holding onto her. And then there was the other hand, which had started out draped loosely on her waist, and was now...Not so much on her waist anymore. She moved slowly, removing his hands as she went. She couldn't honestly say she didn't enjoy waking up with him this way, but she wasn't going to admit she did it enjoy it either. Nope. So. Not. Happening.

She moved quickly, going to her bedroom and changing into her normal at home attire, which now consisted of no more than jeans and a faded t-shirt. She ran a brush through her disheveled hair and then had another look through her closet. She didn't have anything even kind of suited for him to wear. She huffed a little, annoyed with herself for not thinking last night that he couldn't very well leave here naked. She considered going through Jayden's things, but quickly ruled that out as an option. She was only a wee slip of a thing herself. She likely had even fewer things that would be appropriate.

So. She needed to keep busy, and she needed to think quickly. Not that she wanted him to leave, not at all. But she certainly didn't want him stuck here all half naked and tempting as hell either. She wanted him fully clothed and sitting with her having breakfast. For a while. Like the next week or so would be absolutely fine with her. Speaking of breakfast.

She started out simply enough. She put on a pot of coffee. And then she decided that Zen might prefer tea when he woke up, so she made that too. And once that was done, she started thinking he might be hungry. She was hungry. He would probably be hungry as well. That led to making pancakes. Cause everyone like pancakes, right? But what if he didn't? What if he had a weird thing about them? Such questions quickly prompted her to make other things as well. Things like, sausage, bacon, eggs every way she could think of, biscuits, gravy. She sliced up fruit, she made rice, she cooked fish for heaven's sake. Before all was said and done, she was pretty much out of food to cook.

She heard a slight sound in the direction of the living room, and she sat down with her cup of coffee (cold) and sipped it nonchalantly. Every surface in her kitchen was covered in some sort of freshly prepared dish, the kitchen table being the only clean space. She waited with a smile on her face, watching and waiting for Zen to come through the door. The fact that she had cooked enough food for an army was completely escaping her in that moment though, as all she could think about was him in her robe, and his hands when she woke this morning.
