Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

A bustling metropolis (Moonlit and Eli and anyone else interested)

Rane stepped into Trillium. Probably the one place in Fiore he didn't want to be, this was more of a place where you lose money instead of making it and Rane didn't like it one bit. Casinos and pawn shops where just not Rane's style. "Well, if this really is the next stop on my little road trip I might as well make the best of it" He mumbled half-heartedly.
At least Rane actually used his smarts for once and decided not to blow all of his dough and save it up for once. This "rainy day money", as he often calls it, would be very suitable in a place like this. Considering half the problems would be like a bank robbery or something. Not even that, though, since Trillium actually had laws and a police force to do things for him, but Rane decided to come here anyway just to see what it looked like and maybe there's even unique jobs here too like working at a casino or a pawn shop. Rane also decided he would stay away from those jobs if they were to ever appear.

People said that Trllium used to be some grand city of winds or something, but then the Queen dragon destroyed it and the people had to rebuild it from the ground up. After that economy flourished, and casinos and yada yada yada. Rane could definitely see the busy metropolis; with its factories, apartments, and the formentioned pawn shops and casinos. The smell of industrialization wafted itself into Rane's nose with every breath he took, it was the smell of gasoline, oil, and alcohol. He couldn't help but wonder what people saw in this city besides getting drunk and partying then wasting all of your money on slot machines. "Welp, might as well try and scrounge up some coin before I decide to use my rainy day money" Rane sighed, walked along the brick streets of Trillium.

The streets weren't as crowded as Rain originally thought they would be, but it was pretty late at night, around 10:00, so most people would probably be at home relaxing after a long day of work or whatever it that person was doing. Then, the realization that since there was no one on the streets to ask for jobs stuck him and Rane face palmed in return. "You idiot, why in the world would you possibly think there would be jobs at ten o' clock at night!" He scolded himself.
"Might as well just go find a motel or somewhere to stay at" Rane sighed.
He grasped his rainy day money in his pocket, making sure it was still there, a precaution he took in every city as you never know when somebody lurking is trying to earn money the easy way. So he set off along the brick streets of Trillium, searching for somewhere to stay the night.

Roy was walking around Trillium at 10:00. He was on a stroll thinking about the day his father died. With his head in the clouds, he runs into someone.
"Oops! I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention." Roy says.

The sudden collision of two young men in front of Trevor made his head jerk up as he'd been lost in a reverie. Big cities seemed to leave him in a state of trance, hypnotized by the ebb and flow of the crowds, the bright colours and all of the noise. He wasn't used to having to avoid people and make sure that his coin purse wasn't being cut free by some thief so it tended to leave him rather dazed.

One thing that he'd been taught to do was to always lend a hand where possible. He bustled over to check the two men out and ensure that neither of them had been hurt. He was a kind and gentle soul in that way despite being trained as a swordsman and warrior. He still wanted to make sure his fellow human beings were looked after.

He spoke softly as he looked into each of their faces.

"Are you alright? Do you feel dizzy? That was a pretty good whack you both took!"

Rane jumped a foot into the air when a guy bumped into him on the street. Nicely, the guy apologized instead of yelling at Rane to watch where he was going. "No worries, just scared me a little bit is all. I should probably watch where I'm going next time."Rane said, apologizing himself.
He must have been so caught up in finding himself a hotel that he completely forgot about his surroundings. Then a worried look on Rane's face appeared as he reached into his pocket, praying that his wallet would still be there and, to his relief, it was still there with the jewels in it and everything. As Rane says, numerous times, you can never be too safe in a big city like trillium. You never know when a wallet snatcher could be out hunting for it's inanimate prey, like a shark hunts for fish.

Apparently this whole bumping accident had created quite a scene too, since somebody else walked up to Rane and the other guy asking if everything is alright. "Well, I'm fine, at least, just a quick scare is all. Not sure about him, though he looks fine" Rane said, looking at the man who addressed him and then to the one who bumped into him. This was all quite an adventure, but, Rane was progressively growing more tired as the conversation dragged on, he just wanted to make sure the other guy was okay first and then maybe Rane could ask them if there was a good place to stay and rest for the night.

The man apologized as well. "Well, its good to see your fine, and we are both at fault."
Another person came to see if they were okay. "I'm fine, my forehead hurts a little, but that's about it." Roy answers.

The three of them now stood in the middle of the street, all frozen in an awkward tableau. Trevor wondered why in the name of Fiore he got himself into these situations. He was unfamiliar about any kind of etiquette in a normal street situation so he stood gawping for a moment before he regained himself and glanced around.

“I take it we are all new to this city? My name is Trevor Purfoil, I come from far north of here. I am on a journey that will last many years. What are your names and what has brought you to this city?”

It didn’t occur to Trevor that this question might be one that none of his fellow youths wanted to answer but he didn’t really know what else to do. He felt on edge in social situations and being in a new place hadn’t improve matters any. Now that he was faced with actually having to speak to fellow human beings, he felt a slow blush cover his features.

Rane stood for a second, thinking of whether or not he should give away his personal information, but he decided that if this man was nice enough to have asked if the two where okay, then he mustn't have any bad intentions. "Nice to meet you, Trevor. my name is Rane Stalvos, and I'm really just traveling around, hoping to become experienced enough to join a guild some day. Not a dark guild, mind you, a real guild!" Rane said boldly point his index finger into the air for no reason other then emphasis.

He did these random finger motions at times while talking about things. It was an odd habit of his but, what are you going to do? It'll probably go away eventually. Sort of like his habit of running into situations that he isn't quite prepared for yet. He became rather reckless at times, and his stupidity actually bothered him at times. For example, that time with the prismatic tigers and Xaion. He just jumped into that situation without thinking at all of the consequences if the guild was actually as strong as they proclaimed to be. He could have ended up dead after that battle, especially with that freaky explosive magic.

But that didn't matter so much, Trevor seemed to be a nice enough person. That was all Rane was riding on, at the moment, and assumptions were never good with late night encounters like this.

A yawn suddenly erupted from Rane's larynx, his eyes started drooping a little bit as well. This was much to late for him, if only he had a soda or something to keep him awake for a little bit, if only just to continue this conversation and ask for motel suggestions. Rane rubbed his eyes, trying to force them awake again. For the most part, it was working, but he was constantly doing it. Hey, do you guys no of a motel or something I might be able to stay at for the night, I'm pooped if you couldn't tell" Rane said, scratching the back of his head with his right arm and rubbing his eyes with his left.

Nice to meet you Trevor, My name is Roy Pherae (pronounced Fur-ay[ay as in how Fonzie says "ayy"]), I came here to see how the city's holding up, around New Years, well, lets just say there was some explosions, and i was caught in the middle of it. I actually have the same goal as Rane, to join a real guild. Anyway, its good to see you're fine Rane, and good to see that there are some decent people around here. Roy said, putting his hand on the back of his neck, smiling.

"Hey, do you guys know of a motel or something I might be able to stay at for the night, I'm pooped if you couldn't tell"

"Sorry, don't know much about Trillium except that it's a terrible place to parkour, and a place where it's easy to get robbed." Roy said, getting wide eyed on his last sentence, quickly checking his blue hoodie for his wallet.

"Good, everything is still there." Roy thought.

"Whew, just making sure you weren't some person who likes to pick pocket. But still, I don't know where to find a good Hotel, Motel, Holiday Inn(see what I did there, Rapper's Delight?), so once again, sorry." Roy said.

After glancing around, Trevor's keen eyes spotted a likely inn. It seemed well kept and clean on the outside but the slight wear on the building and the gentle weathering of the sign meant that it wasn't hugely expensive. He pointed with what he hoped was a confident smile.

"That one there, The Laughing Dragon, looks good to me. I'm sure we can find ourselves some rooms. I do hope we all have enough money but I suspect that we'll be fine. Come on!"

For whatever reason, Trevor felt that taking the lead was his prerogative. It was probably his noble birth and the training for leadership that had been drummed into him. He strode towards the door of the inn and hoped the other two would follow. As he swung the door open, a warm scent of good food and a hubbub that spoke less of drunken brawls than of fairly regular people.

The innkeeper was a pleasant looking older man who smiled at Trevor and his companions and asked them if they'd like a room. Their rates seemed reasonable so he turned to the other two.

"Let's pool our resources and see what we can afford huh?"

Roy takes 50,000 jewel out of his wallet.

"This is all I've got, the rest is currently at my house in Magnolia. I Wasn't expecting to spend any money tonight, but now that you mention it, I am tired. My body is a little sore after the parkour I did earlier..." Roy then decides to shut up, feeling that if he kept talking, he would just annoy them.

"Ugh....why do I tend to ramble on? Is it a Nervous Tendency? No wonder I don't have many friends, I talk too much. I was lucky enough to even get a beautiful, intelligent girlfriend, let alone a girlfriend at all." Roy thought, using this new trick, in which instead of rambling on verbally, you would do it mentally, so no one could here you sound like a complete idiot.

"So...umm....what about you guys...how much do you have?" Roy asked awkwardly.
