There had been a string of disappearances in the heart of Trillium. On top of that, it seemed as though one girl had gone frantic about this. It seemed as though her boyfriend had been one of the people who had vanished from the casino. Normally Luna wouldn't be the type to go in and looking into this....wait never mind she was totally the type of person to go forth and figure this stuff out. There was a reason why she was here and doing guild work in Quatro Cerberus. Sure, she might have been over all a goodhearted person, but after the past year, she realized that the world wasn't exactly the nicest of places. People got hurt, people she could save and help. And being in QC allowed her to do a bit more work that other light guilds wouldn't normally allow their members to do. But that was for a different time. Now Luna was doing some work. She had come to the place to figure this out. Pulling her jacket closer around here neck, the blonde fire mage walked through the streets trying her best to not look like she stood out or anything. Then again, in this town you needed to look a bit shady. This was a rather shady place. And shady places often had shady people...and Luna was a very bright person. In fact, she on fire. (Hahah fire pun~) Anyways, back to the task on hand. The blonde walked into the casino and paid the man her money to get some coins for the slots. She was determined to stay as long as she possibly can to see what was going on. But as long as she stayed there, nothing seemed to be going on. Coin after coin, the blonde did her best to win as much as she could back. Sometimes it was a little bit, but nine times out of ten, her money just got swallowed up by these things. "These cheating things....how on earth are we meant to actually win at these things?" Just as Luna mumbled this to herself, and to whoever was around her, the woman whom she had spoken to earlier came crashing into the place. This was not a good sign. Oh this was never a good sign. And before the other girl started her rant, that was going to happen no worries, the fire mage let out a groan. "Where is he?!" the young girl with long black hair screamed at one of the people in the place. "Who are you talking about miss?" one of the workers asked. "My boyfriend. Chris! He was in here last week and hasn't been home since then. What have you done with him?!" Luna groaned again and got up. She seemed like she was going to have to calm the girl down. No reason for this young lady to get hurt if Luna could stop it...hopefully. Edited by Luna Kage, May 13 2014, 05:13 AM.

Ross had heard of people disappearing the city of Trillium. He normally never took care of this kind thing, but one of the people that got killed was a good friend of his and he was going to find out who was responsible for killing her and all the innocent people. He was walking down one of Trillium's main roads and was about to pass up a casino on his right. Ross decided that this would be a good place to start looking for suspects. He walked through the doors into a smoke filled room. It took him alot of concentration to just not throw up right then and there. There was a girl yelling at one of the workers. Something about her boyfriend coming here and never coming back. This was interesting. There was also another girl, but blonde, that walked over to console the hysteric lady. "Looks like I came at a good time." He said out loud, but more to himself than anything. |

As Luna was getting closer to the frantic woman whom she hat talked to earlier in the day, it seemed as though the lights had turned off. This was not starting out to be a good thing. People all around the fire mage started to shout. One of them being the girl who had made her way inside. Not cool. So with the power vested in her, the blonde haired girl summoned her candle technique (which will illuminate around 3.5 meters for 3 posts). Once she could see around her, it seemed as if the entirety of the staff had vanished, a long with a few of the normal civilians. Her head will turn to the man who had just walked in before the lights went out. "Did you have anything to do with this?" After a moment of staring him down, the fire mage will shake her head, dismissing the fact he might have anything to do with this. She'll walk over to the entrance of the place and try and open the doors, only to find that the place is locked down. Luna will turn back to the guy who had just walked in. "Can I trust you?" The girl whom had walked in before suddenly latches onto Luna, trembling. "What's going on?!" Luna will let out a sigh and turn to the girl attached to her leg. "I don't know. But I am going to find out. Trust me. I'll figure out what is going on and how to handle this." |

It had only been a few months since Theo was given a few feet of freedom from God. The world hand changed so much since he was last in it and yet through constant reading in the Hall of Records, he has been able to keep up with the changing times. At least, in theory. How the old man got into the precarious casino he was in now was a quick and long tail all at the same time. He followed the history books in search of magic, he had hoped to find clues as to the location of the queen dragon and learn from her ancient magic for the shelves of the Hall but things took a turn for the worse. Being a gambling man the city of Trillium was not the best place for him to be. One minute he is reading a book about the destruction of the city, not that he hadn’t read the information a dozen times back at the Hall, and the next he found himself playing poker. However, his streak of winnings was terribly interrupted by a combination of things. First, a young women with brunet hair frantically screaming about her boyfriend’s whereabouts. Secondly, a sudden blackout followed by screamed and murmurs of panicked casino goers. He threw his cards down and ran his fingers threw his hair within the darkness of the room. “Man what a way to end a bender.” Exhausted Theo turned his attention to a source of dimly lit light near the center of the room. A beautiful woman with golden blond hair who was giving off a warm light that seemed to slowly put the people at ease. The brunet who was frantic from earlier clung to her like a frightened kitten. The place was on lockdown and that meant two things. Either Theo helped in the situation or he waited for it to blow over. Luckily the choice was made for him with the presence of a beautiful woman using magic, magic he needed to learn for God. He pushed his chair back making a loud noise in the silence. ”You can trust that man, he just arrived before this happened. I would assume an unfortunate coincidence my dear.” His eyes gazed at the light emitted with curiosity. He began to read the magic like a book and slowly unlock its knowledge. ”Fire based magic, how fascinating.” OOC

Luna's purple eyes turned to the new person who had come around her. She studied him and the way he spoke. It was somewhat weird. Here this sixteen year old boy was talking as if he had been around for ages. Like an old man. But that couldn't be right either. But that was beside the point. Luna had a job to do and she couldn't just sit around and linger around all day in this spot with the woman latched onto her. "Yeah. I'm a fire mage from Quatro Cerberus. Luna Anna Nichole." She pulled her right arm out of her large jacket and showed the man, or boy...whatever, her guild tattoo. After that was done, she replaced the jacket and managed to pry the young woman off of her. The fire mage looked down at the cowering girl and helped her up onto her feet. "Look. We'll get out of this. The staff had to go somewhere right? We'll find out what's going on. What's your name again?" The woman sniffled and looked at Luna with scared eyes. "Megan." Luna smiled at her and patted her head before turning back to the ground around her. The candle that was glowing now wasn't going to last forever. Eventually it was going to go out. And then where was that going to leave people? In a dark place with a bunch of scared people until she summoned her fireball. But if she didn't have to do that, she wasn't going to. "Alright to be able to get out of here we're going to need to find out where the staff ran off to. I think a small group would be best. No more than five people. So if four other people are willing to help me figure out what is going on around here, that would be great. Any volunteers?" The fire mage looked around the room, waiting for people to start saying something. Anything. But most of the people here were just a bunch of scared gamblers. However, after a moment, a fairly tall man stepped forward and nodded to her. That put Luna at ease. She had at least one. Megan quickly clung to her arm again, meaning that she was not leaving Luna's side. Well that was two now. For now, she was just going to wait and see what was going to happen. |

His eyes glimmered in the ambiance of the panicked casino. ”Quatro Cerberus…” He drifted off in thought as his mind recalled all of the books within the Hall. The leader, its creed, symbol, home town. ”Ah, that is right. If I remember correctly you are a bit ways away from Tessera.” The man wanted to ask so many questions right then and there but, better figure things out in his current situation first. A dark hooded man from the corner of the room walked forward and raised his hand. He said nothing but assumed the woman took this as an acceptance of the team. A large staff rested on his back along with a shield, each decorated with dozens of eyes. Theo stood up and stretched his overalls before strutting toward the blond bombshell. She was incredibly beautiful, maybe it was her magic that gave him a certain fiery interest in her but he would need to spend some more time in order to keep reading her chapters. ”That would make me your fifth, how stereotypical of a Cerberus. Always wanting to be in a team. Much like the infamous duo, Snow and Ms. Falzo.” Once Megan had calmed down and the rest of the patrons seemed to get themselves under control the old man began to spill the beans. "I do believe I will go first as I don’t think any of you children will be able to give any better factual insight. There were thirty-four people in this room and now there are only twenty-eight and yes this does include that gentlemen who just walked in.” Edited by colaguy, May 29 2014, 04:54 AM.

Luna waited a moment until the older speaking sixteen year old spoke again. The fire mage glanced over at him and nodded. Yeah it was true. She was a bit far away from home. But she was always far away from home it seemed. Always out doing things. But that was beside the point. As she waited for anyone else to step forward, a hooded man and the weird old not old man boy thing stepped up. Perfect. A group of five it was. But before saying more instructions, the kid grandpa man spoke up. Calling her like a stereotypical Cerberus? What did he mean by that? A frown formed upon her face as she stared at this man creature. He even named off two of her own guild mates as proof. As if she always liked being in a group. What did he know? Most times she was alone. Actually a lot of the wolves of Cerberus were alone these days. "Excuse me? How would you know about that? I just think it would be an easier time if we tackled this as a team than for me to go in it alone like I first thought. Plus with..." "Megan." "Right. With Megan here, I can't just keep an eye on her the entire time." Her purple eyes glanced at her candle that was still floating around. It was going to go out very shortly. Any moment now. The front of the room needed to have light. And it didn't seem like the backup generators were kicking in. That was weird. And that needed to be fixed. So Luna returned back to the group of people before her. "Alright so we need to go figure out what happened to the generators and get them running again. That will get them started at least. Then this problem of...how many people missing again?" Luna turned her gaze back to the old man young child person. "You're saying we're missing six people? That must be the staff then. Your name sir. A name would be great so I don't have to call you mystery man or something weird like that." Oh right. There was going to be needing some kind of light. That means there were things that needed to burn. No she wasn't going to burn the place down. They were just going to have to deal with the lack of light for now. "Alright folks. We're going to have a small problem. After we leave to find the generators, it's going to be dark. Please don't freak out. We'll get them on as soon as possible alright?" People started to get a bit freaked out, but they all understood the situation. Luna turned to the group again. "Alright. Why don't we start heading back and looking for something that looks like a switch to put some lights on? I'll make sure to keep some kind of fire going to give us light." And with that, the blonde mage started heading back to look for some kind of door to fix the light situation. Edited by Luna Kage, May 29 2014, 11:02 PM.

The fiery woman explained her train of thought. The old soul observed more of the gorgeous mage from every angle. She seemed so mission ready, able to tackle any challenge presented to her but for Theo things were becoming a bit too regimented. He let her calm the people in the casino down a bit before really taking a look at the people in the proposed “group”. She was obviously a formidable mage and a perfect candidate for the other team. The odd man who was completely silent gave off an aura of strength as well. Before evaluating the fourth gentlemen that joined the company he had made his choice. The group walked down a long corridor with two elevators at its end. One went up and the other down. As they arrived the blond haired bookkeeper pressed both buttons. ”This is all a bit boring for me dear, why not make a bet with me? My team versus your team. Whichever team solves the mystery first wins. If you win, you will be able to ask me to do one thing without refusal, however said request cannot be to end my life or anything as drawl as that. Although, If I was to win, you must tell me everything you know of your guild and your magic.” A devious expression crept onto his face as the ambient light from the green elevator buttons gave a demonic glare on his glasses. Ding…. Both elevators opened as he awaited the girls choice. ”Oh, and should you choose to partake in this venture I will be taking our creepily eyed friend dressed in black. You can have the troglodyte.” |

Luna snapped her head to look at the boy next to her. What was his game? And why was he making her rather uncomfortable? Did he think that this was some kind of game? As if it was some kind of sick joke that this was happening? She had come here to figure out what was going on and why people were vanishing. Not taking bets and trying to give out information. True be told, she would have gladly given out information about her guild or even her magic. There wasn't much to hide. But she didn't like this guy. He was shady. The fire mage looked forward at the elevators and thought for a moment. If she went down, there was more than likely going to be a power switch that she could go and flip and get started working. Upstairs? What was going to happen upstairs? Who knew. Maybe that was where people were. Maybe that was where all the action was going to be. But she needed to get the lights on first. That was a must. "Normally I'm not one for making bets with people I don't know, but I'll take your bet. First one to get the power on wins the first round. We meet back here. If you get other information about the people missing, that would be great. But our first goal is to get the lights on." Luna stepped into the elevator that was going to go down. Megan had quickly followed her in. That was no surprise. The taller man grunted and stepped in with her. Luna's "team" was all ready to go. But what was the creepy man going to do? The fire mage raised an eyebrow while looking at him. "You're welcomed to join us on our venture down into the depths of the basement. No pressure or hard feelings." She wanted to keep an eye on him. She would have rather him come with them. But it was his choice. Whatever he decided, she was still going down. |
