Today, for a reason he refused to discuss even with his most trusted companion/summon Katherina, Vayne was in a mood somewhere between angry and depressed. A single one of these emotions would be considered a rarity when it came to Vayne but two of them, something was definitely wrong and the fact that Vayne didn't want to talk about was driving Katherina crazy. In Trillium there were three thing people did when they were angry, sad or experiencing any negative emotions for that matter, and these were; robbing some petty establishment for an easy payoff, gambling in the casinos, or drinking as much alcohol as you could in one of the many pubs spread across the city. Alexus wasn't that bad a person to rob some innocent store owner and he valued money to much to just gamble it all away, this left drinking as the only reasonable option. It wasn't something Vayne did frequently but he deemed it necessary in this situation. A pub wasn't hard to find in Trillium seeing that there was one on almost every street but Alexus would walk past several of them before finally stopping at a small and particularly noisy one called Luck O's. Vayne would walk in like if he owned the place Katherina right on his tail as her Master went right up to the bar and took a seat where he raised his hand to the bartender who came to him at once. "Make me forget this day ever happened." Would be his request. "I got just the thing kid." the bartender would reply and with a sly smile expression on his face take a bottle of something purple from behind the counter and two shot glasses. He would give a glass to Vayne and one to Katherina who was now sitting beside Vayne and filled them both. I'm not sure you should drink that. Katherina would think to her master using their mind link but Vayne would ignore her and drink it anyway responding to the taste of the liquid by cringing his face. "Another!" He would say to the bartender after wards who would refill his glass and Alexus Vayne would drink again. "Another, Another, Another. Was what the rest of the night sounded like and eventually Vayne would be so intoxicated that his head would just suddenly drop to the counter glass in hand completely unconscious leaving Katherina with the task of carrying her master home. "The only reason I didn't leave you there was because I need you in one piece to explain wrong with you you idiot." Katherina would say to him as she began the long journey home. |
