Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

The inside of the cave was big enough to be stadium, though the two would have to walk through a short tunnel before they reached that part of the cave. There a man waited, he was big in stature, and seemed to be middle aged. His stubble was red while his hair was jet black. He wore an apron, and held a spatula in one hand and a frying pan in the other. He stood amidst pools of boiling water and cooking oil. The man had a grim look on his face, as re began to remember ...

Only days before, he had been living happily with the love of his life. Doing the thing he loved. His life was complete, and it seemed like it would last forever. But that's never the case. It was on that fateful day that everything changed. He returned home from the job that he was so passionate about, to the only place and person that made him overjoyed. Waiting for her return, he would start to wonder where she was. And as it began to get late, he knew that something was wrong. Why wasn't she home yet? Just as he was about to take off to look for her, someone would knock on his door.

He hurried to open it, prepared to greet her with a smile. The door opened to two knights, their faces the furthest away from anything that was telling of something good. His smile disappeared as they broke the news to him.

"She was in an accident."

The words ringed in his ears for hours later ... he couldn't accept it. Soon, and just like his smile, he would disappear from the world.

He couldn't understand how he got there, to that oven of a cave. He didn't know why, but there was something he knew for certain; it didn't matter. He couldn't live anymore, not without her.

Dai started to regret going into the cave. He had hoped that it would be cooler inside, but boy was he wrong. The deeper they walked into the cave the hotter and hotter it got. "Even if we do manage to find water, it's not going to be drinkable, that's for sure," he said with an disappointed tone.

Soon they would make it to an opening, where the cave turned into what looked like the inside of a giant dome. It was illuminated by flames that seemed like they were going to rain down on them from the ceiling. The ground was scorching hot, and pools of boiling water and oil were scattered around the room. As they walked into the room looking for the exit, they would spot a rather large man standing right in the center of the oven. Dai walked closer, and recognized him. "That's the missing cook!"

The cook was dozed off, but as he heard Dai's voice he turned his attention to them. Am I not alone? he thought.

The two have reached the inside of the cave and honestly, it is almost the same temperature as the one outside. Walking inside the cave, so far nothing in peculiar is there just the hot air from the outside seem to have found its way there. The walls looked red hot from the initial examination as the air there is a bit steamy from the scorching heat outside. Still they might be a bit of hope for it to be cooler as the cave does have a path that might lead deeper into it. There is a narrow hallway there where they need to go through, maybe it would be a bit less hot than it is than where they currently are right now but who knows.

Toshiro did respond to Dai regarding finding water there and if it could be drinkable as the man had the same thought as he has that it might not be drinkable. This might be a big problem for them as it might affect their mental process if the heat gets too much into their head. Following the path of the narrow hallway of the cave, something tells Toshiro that they aren't the only ones there. As they approached the end of the hallway, they were soon greeted by a large spacious area. It looked like a huge dome inside the cave and similar to the outside terrain, there are also flames there that lights up the place and also gives off heat at the same time.

One thing Toshiro would noticed is a strange man standing there idly before Dai called out to him. Dai recognized the man as the missing cook they heard from the knight and looking closely at the man, Toshiro could tell he is indeed the missing cook. The knight did shown them some description and pictures of the missing people and it is possibly that they are all there. Approaching the man, Toshiro did wonder how long was the man in that place. Does this place also hold the same laws and rules as the ones the spirits used in Oak Town? Or would it be a different one? Still Toshiro decided to see the answers from the man.

"Hey are you alright? How long have you been in this place?" Toshiro said wondering if the man is alright or not since he is just idly standing there when they saw him. Toshiro also wondered how long has the man been there.

The cook would turn to face the two. His expression was grim, and it seemed like it was going to stay that way. There was no indication that he was going to be cooperative. The way he carried himself, the way he would stare. The man was in a state of despair unbeknownst to either of the men standing before him. Daisuke remained open to the man, despite his disposition. He gave a sincere smile. Dai was genuinely glad that he was able to find one of the missing persons so quickly, so much so that he forgot his thirst. Toshiro would ask the cook if he was alright, which was the first thing they had to know. His second question was necessary as to determine whether there was some kind of time rift, or if time passed normally. This was a alternate dimension after all, and they had no practical knowledge except for what they had experienced in Oak Town.

The sound of the water and oil boiling all around them would give them an even harsher sense of how intense the heat was in that room. The place could have been an oven and it would be believable. The heat began to slowly cook Dai's feet. Nimbus began to breath heavily on his head. Dai began to worry, and he realized that they had to get out of that place as soon as possible.

The cook was silent. His grim look began to really settle in Dai's mind. This man wasn't well. Chances were, he had been in this place for so long that he lost grasp of reality. No, it was probably even worse. Why was he one of the people who had been kidnapped by the spirit? Dai began to regret not looking into their personal lives a little more. If he had been serious in his investigation, he might have been able to find the commonality between the people who had been abducted. It was too late now. He had to figure it out the hard way.

"Toshiro, I don't think he can hear us," Dai said, cautiously stepping back.

The cook began to hallucinate images of that night. When the two knights came to his door. Daisuke and Toshiro became those knights.

"Why?" he whispered.

Dai stopped. "Did you say something?"

"Why?" he said.

"Why?"

"WHY!" he shouted. His voice echoed in that cave, shaking it slightly.

Dai's face turned pale.

The cook began to glow a fiery red. The ground beneath him shook. His eyes turned white. An updraft was created pushing the two, and creating waves in the pools of water and oil. The wind ignited into a horrible flame engulfing the man.

Dai's eye's widened, he was petrified. Was in over his head? Starting to doubt himself, he didn't know where to turn. Was it over for him?

"WHY!"

Suddenly, the pools began to erupt, shooting into the air above. The fire lighting the cave from the ceiling boomed, raining down a perfect storm.

Dai was overwhelmed. His head dropped, sliding Nimbus into his arms. The poor fairy couldn't take anymore heat, and neither could Dai. His legs failed him. Soon he was on his knees. Looking up once more, he would see two figures; one being eating by an endless fire, and the other standing firm. That's right, Dai thought wearily. Toshiro is with us. Only a moment later did he pass out from heat exhaustion.

The storm didn't end with Dai losing consciousness. No. This wasn't his dream.

The flames which had swallowed the cook began to settle down. Soon his full figure appeared. His hair was red as blood, his skin as black as coal. The man glared at Toshiro. Raising his arm, he pointed his spatula right at him.

Meanwhile, Dai was sitting on his knees, covering Nimbus with chest.

Toshiro wondered what is wrong with the man as they approached him and even questioning his condition. So far there was no response from the man from Toshiro's initial question. The temperature in the area are somehow getting hotter and hotter that even Toshiro doesn't need to ignite a cigarette hanging from his mouth as it could light up with just the heat on the ground. There was still silent there and only the sounds of the water boiling could be heard right now. Did the man actually hear them or has the heat affected him this much? Could it be that something happened to the man that made him like this.

Toshiro was about to ask a second time repeating the very same question until the man had suddenly reply. It was a bit inaudible at first but as Dai repeat the question, the man also repeated his answer in a much louder tone. The man is asking why? As he kept saying that word, his voice kept getting louder and louder that it would echo throughout the entire cave. Still Toshiro also started to notice the rise in temperature at that moment that each word the man said the water and oil started to boil hotter. Hotter and hotter, the water and oil started to rise as Toshiro could feel that something isn't right and something bad is about to happened.

As expected, something indeed bad happened as the man started to glow fiery red also producing a shockwave that would push the two mages backward. Toshiro had started to puff smoke from his mouth inhaling the cigarette in his mouth as this happened. Soon the pool erupted from the ground as it is now raining fire from the pits which could burn them alive... Toshiro wouldn't allow this to happen. With some quick movement, Toshiro continued to puff smoke as he started to move his arms around him. The smoke started to move in a direction that would surround the smoke mage along with Dai and his little companion.

Soon the smoke would enveloped the three of them as it would solidify in a shape of a dome around them. The smoke even reached the ground they are stepping on which should allow them to not feel the heat on their feet. With the formation of the smoke dome, the temperature inside it should remain constant and stop getting higher compare to outside. This way Dai should be fine since he should have adjusted to some of the heat. In a way it should be much cooler inside the smoke dome right now compare to the outside. The smoke dome is made transparent in a way that Toshiro would know what is going on outside after the fire stopped raining down on them. There, Toshiro would look above and see something there floating the man but he doesn't seem to be the same anymore.

"Alright! Whoever you are, I assume that you are the one responsible for what is happening here and to the current condition of that man." Toshiro spoke up towards the man as he would wait until the place settles down before leaving the smoke dome but keeping it active for Dai to be safe. "So are you the spirit that rule this place?" Toshiro added as he continue to puff smoke preparing himself for the worse.
