With her hug having been accepted by Emily Cynthia purred happily and let go standing back up straight with a smile and well, as Emily's buns where cooked the green haired girl stood back and watched as her new big sister removed them from the oven sending a lovely aroma wafting over Cynthia's nose and dear god, it smelled amazing and now Cynthia really did want to eat one! Watching Emily attentively as she took one of the buns in her hands juggling it about, obviously to let it cool down, Cynthia bounced a little on her heels excited as Emily crammed it into her mouth but that wasn't the only thing Emily did. Much to Cynthia's happiness, Emily threw one towards Cynthia and in response the bug girl jumped up and caught it in her mouth. Nomming on the bun Cynthia had to admit that damn it was good and, while she was eating it she had picked up one of her own buns using the stinger located on the tip of her tail, then handed it towards Emily smiling happily. Ahahahha, so Emily wanted to know why her younger sister was heading to the Tartaros guild hall? Well, to be honest the bug girl thought that it would have been obvious as why else would a mage want to find the guild hall of a guild? To join them obviously. "Well! I want to join there guild and your buns are very tasty big sis~" Cynthia had gobbled down the last of Emily's bun and looked at her big sister expectantly, hoping that Emily would like the ones Cynthia had made. |

Emily had to admit that for someone who was green and not entirely human, Cynthia was quite capable of baking and creating food items that were delicious. She wolfed down this example of her new acquaintance’s skills and regarded the insect girl with what could have passed for warmth, although in her, it seemed more like a very mild interest. “So are yours! I really enjoy them. I guess you don’t have to belong to the same dimension as someone to be a good baker. I can see that lesson very clearly.” She turned her attentions back to Cynthia’s response about Tartaros after having returned a compliment. Of course, as a mage seeking power, she was always curious about why other people sought power where they sought it. “So you want to join them huh? Why exactly do you want to join them? I mean I wanna join a guild too. Not the same one but I get it. I just wonder what your reasons are!” |

In line with her youth and young appearence Cynthia giggled like a little school girl as she observed Emily wolfing down the baked treats that had been created by a certain bug and to be honest? That made Cynthia happy, she liked Emily and so seeing her adoptive big sister enjoying herself brought a smile to Cynthia's face. Anyway, Cynthia may not be aware of the thoughts that where swimming around Emily's head but if the green haired girl was then well, her response would probably be something like "Origins are not a barrier against learning" and from Cynthia that meant just because she was from another world didn't mean she couldn't adapt to another realm's customs and oh, Cynthia had been brought to Fiore when she was young so growing up with the traditions of Fiore was not that hard to believe. "Hehehe~ Thanks sis~ I'm glad you like them" Cynthia giggled happily and gave her newly found sister the biggest hug ever, at least compared to the other hugs Emily had endured. And now was when things changed as the moment that Emily asked why Cynthia wanted to join Tartaros the insectiod girl let go of Emily and took a few steps back. Cynthia's voice changed when she answered losing a lot of the life that was in it before and while this happened her face to seemed to change into an expression that you'd usally associate with somebody who was pure evil. And if that change in Cynthia's voice and face wasn't enough the air seemed to get heavy, which wasn't due to any magical effect or anything and was simply an air that Cynthia gave off; however, the way that Emily would take this was still up in the air. "Why you ask?...Well, to have fun of course!" and this was when Cynthias expression changed into a twisted smile but that only lasted for less then a mili-second as Cynthia seemed to return to her happy bubbly light hearted self, which was evidenced as she picked up another one of the buns and stuffed it into her mouth. That sudden "change" in Cynthia's attitude however should not be taken lightly. While yes Cynthia was a very sweet and rather cute girl she was still a dark mage and every single dark mage had there own rotten core somewhere deep down and for Cynthia? Well, here's was her lack of morals when it came to the matters of entertainment and how she didn't give a damn what any of those pansy goody two shoes thought about her actions. |

There was something totally familiar in that smile from Cynthia. For just a moment, there was a glimpse of the darkness that she held in her own soul and it was something that Emily felt keenly. It was pure and evil and beautiful in a way that she loved. There was a rising blackness like something that lived in the depths of the ocean, something dark and tentacled. It only lasted briefly but in that flash, it was enough to tell the redhead all that she needed to know. She nodded in understanding. “OH yes. Fun. I know just what sort of fun you’re talking about. That’s part of my reason for wanting to join Grimoire Heart. I hear so many good things about it. It sounds incredible.” She paused and realized that time was wearing on and if they didn’t clear out soon, the owner of the bakery might turn up and that would just get ugly. As much as she enjoyed flouting the rules, the world wasn’t free of consequences (sadly) and she didn’t like jail cells much. She turned to the insect girl. “Maybe we better skedaddle out of here in a minute or two. I think we might overstay our welcome, sister dear.” It felt strange to call her that but it might prove useful in the future. Such connections were always good to have regardless of what her actual feelings happened to be about her strange, green friend. |

Cynthia may not have been aware of the smile that had naturally grown over her face nor was she even the slightest bit aware of what Emily thought about it but, the thing she was aware of was Emily's understanding of Cynthia's reasons for joining a guild, which to the insect girl was a good middle ground between them. It made Cynthia's little heart well up in happiness to hear that her big sister understood and as such, Cynthia threw herself at Emily giving her what had to be the sixth or seventh hug this evening, and yes Cynthia was very huggy, rubbing her head against the rather warm and soft chest of Emily. "Yay! Fun fun fun fun!" Cynthia chanted in her girly voice finishing it all off with a cutesy sounding little giggle at the end of her sentence. Letting go of her big sister Cynthia stood in front of Emily with her scorpion tail swaying side to side and when Emily talked it seemed that it would be time for the two of them to part, and that made Cynthia upset as evidence by the loss of her smile and the ceasing of her tail's swaying. Still, despite the fact the two of them had to depart from one other Cynthia's happy mood was restored by Emily calling her little sister and the reason why this made Cynthia so happy in the first place was because she hadn't had a sister while growing up. "Awww! Okay big sis! I'll hunt you down some other time and we can cause some more chaos then!" and without any further time wasted Cynthia ran out of the bakery her long well maintained green hair blowing in the wind, which had actually gotten rather messy due to all of the bakery ingredients that had been flying around, not like that was a problem though as the insect girl could just wash her hair off when she got home. |
