Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Mission Info

It was just like any other day in the Guild, boring. At least for Green it was, he was still stuck at the low class of Mages and as such was treated like one despite being stronger than the typical D-Class Mage as well as some of the C-Class Mages. But here he was on the private third floor, exclusive to those in Raven Tail, waiting for something interesting to come along. Though it was going to take a while, it didn't seem many people where in Raven Tail at this time of day or they were just in their rooms doing whatever it is that they do. Figuring that nothing else worthy of interest was going to even remotely happen at this stage, Green decided to head down to the second floor and be amazed at the pathetic people who were gambling so early in the day or those who were still here, gambling away what little they had left.

The second floor. The main attraction of Raven Tail, well the casino that acted as a Guild Hall. The real Guild Hall was behind though Green rarely entered that place, there was not much to do and it was more for those of the top ranking of the Guild. Heading to one of the bars that surrounded the main floor of the gambling tables, Green sat on a barstool and kept to himself. He only ordered a water and drank it at a slow rate, though it was here that he got thinking. Perhaps it was time to take on another mission, he could easily catch up to Hikari in no time. She had already helped him on two missions, but she was a B-Class and it would be a waste of time for her to help with the last two.

The thought rattled around Green's head for a while until he decided on it, however he was going to find someone else to accompany him. So the first step was to find another D-Class member for a few reasons, though Green figured it would be easier to complete the mission and have someone else to blame if it was somehow failed. Though the majortiy of D-Class missions were easy as hell and require little to no effort at all. Finish up his water, Green soon went on the search for a companion to the mission, which would be decided after the companion was acquired.

Today was kind of a shitty day for Akira. Not that most days weren't already shit. It was today that Akira would be doing some grunt work around the casino. As a new recruit and low ranking member, all the simple and easy tasks went to him. Most of his work was supervised and if he messed up, he'd be taking the brunt of the fault. That was just the life of a grunt, even in a dark guild like Raven Tail. Of course, Akira was still a small bit stronger than most grunts and he did what he was told, despite his verbal protest. As those in the guild learned, Akira was easy to deal with as long as a woman was not in the picture. This was a problem for the opposite reason most men have with women. Akira was not distracted by them; he just hated them with a passion.

The boy had no respect for women. They were less than things and the scourge of Earthland. It was an attitude that'd probably get him killed sooner or later considering that there were plenty of strong women out there to end him, and just as many men to do the same. But Akira didn't care; if he did, he'd be trying to reform, not shoving some guy's head into a pile of shit. Oh? What's that? Too random? Yeah, Akira grunt work for the day was a bit of intimidation and force. With the casino that Raven Tail ran out of the guild hall, there were always those few that tried to cheat the system. When they were caught, they were punished.

This guy was getting off lucky. He had yet to rob the guild of any money and was going to get a warning since he flushed plenty of cash into gambling already. One of the bouncers asked Akira to shove the man's face into the toilet, just to show him what kind of shit tried to con Raven Tail out of their money. A simple, yet disgusting task. But Akira didn't mind doing it. One did not move up without getting a little dirty. And if he let someone disrespect the guild and get away with it, he wasn't going to ever get out of grunt status. So after nearly drowning the guy and letting him choke on more excrement than anyone would ever want near them, Akira left the man there and exited the bathroom and moved back to the casino room floor. He looked down at his foot in dismay. It wasn't dirty, but he still felt like his shoes were tainted. The pretty boy sighed and moved to the bar to give the bartender a nod that the job was done.

Either through luck or by chance, which both intermingled with one another in some way, Green found the person whom he was looking for. Well, hopefully. The person was definetly not a customer, the outfit they wore made that clear and he had just spoke to the bartender as if they were good friends. Hardly any customers would do that. They seemed to be a little taller than Green himself but that was no problem though there was an odd question that Green seemed to be thinking of as he looked at this individual; was it a guy or a girl? The person looked rather feminine but that didn't necessarily mean they were female since this person didn't really appear to be female. Why were things so complicated?

Regardless, Green soon altered his route and returned back to the bartender to approach this person. Green had noticed him, or her, as he looked about the bar and caught sight of the person but now he was just across from them and eyeing them, wondering if they were indeed a member of Raven Tail. There was a good chance they were, so with that in mind, "You there, be you of the Guild?" Green asked, a rather straight forward question which would receive a straight forward answer, hopefully. Upon being this bit closer it became apparant that this person was perhaps a male, though rather feminine at that, a 'pretty boy' you might say. No matter, there were many across the world and you could argue that a previous, now dead, member of Raven Tail was a pretty boy as much as he was a clown.

Green hadn't seen this guy before so he was taking a chance in asking, though on both parts there was no way to really tell if either of them were of the Guild. Green's own symbol was hidden by his suit and so was this male's. If he was a member of Raven Tail then things just got more interesting and the progression of acquiring a job would be much easier.

Taking a seat at the bar, Akira let out a sigh. The task was done ad he was free until someone else needed him. It was the life of a grunt and one that he couldn't really complain about. Even Akira understood that progress was just that and in an organization like this, progress was not easy. But even a dark guild like this was better than his former home. If he couldn't handle this, he'd have to go bad, and he wasn't about to let that happen, not that Raven Tail would let him live if he quit anyway. With his back to the bar, Akira leaned back, placing his elbows on the cushioned edge and stuffing one of his hands into his pocket. He needed a smoke break if he was going to get his shoes off his mind.

But before Akira could get too relaxed, a voice called out to him. At first, Akira wasn't all too sure who it was or if it was for him, but ignoring a higher ranked member was usually a bad idea. Looking up, Akira caught sight of a well-dressed man. He had seen him before, but couldn't really place where and that put Akira on the defensive. Sure, it was obvious that the guild was run by Raven Tail, but no one said so out loud. Dark Guild weren't exactly supposed to be sitting around in the public light. Raven Tail in particular was one of those things where everyone knew existed, but could not legally touch. They were good at keeping low-key, unlike certain more destructive guilds.

"What's it to you?" Akira answered, neither confirming nor denying if it was. Like most Raven Tail members, his guild tattoo was hidden from plain sight. It sat on his right shoulder, under his suit and out of public viewing. Only a dark mage with the balls that encompass this universe would have it out in the open. Looking behind him, Akira saw the bartender give the man a nod of approval. He knew everyone in the guild, so if he approved, Akira could be a bit more forthcoming. Facing the man again, Akira sat up. "The name's Akira. What do you need?"

The first response was expected and as such Green remained silent before looking at the bartender who in turn nodded in approval of Green to the man before him. His name was Akira as he introduced himself before relaxing a bit more to Green's presence and asked what he was after. Sitting down at the bar, Green nodded and cut to the chase, "I'm looking for a fellow member to assist in an assignment. A low level one, but we must all start somewhere." He said to Akira, keeping the reason short and simple before he continued, "However, I do not have an assignment just yet. Though one shouldn't be too hard to obtain, there's problem some 'business' that could be taken care of." Green smiled and nodded to the bartender who soon walked to the other end of the bar and began to clean glasses.

Green returned his gaze to Akira, he looked to be able to handle himself though hopefully the need to handle oneself would not be required. "What do you say? Interested in getting a bit more reputation here and one step closer to an increase of rank?" Green then said to Akira with a little grin, though he did wonder whether Akira would accept the offer or not. It was a somewhat enticing offer after all, completing an assignment to help become further recognized within the guild just like how Green had no clue who Akira was, but the same could be said about Green from Akira's point of view.

Akira heard the man out. It seemed pretty straight forward. This guy wanted to talk up a job and wanted another member to go along. A nice show of force was always really good when it came to these things. If they could not be intimidating, they could not do their jobs. And while Akira never really cared much for scaring other people, he did get underestimated for his pretty boy looks. He often got awkward chuckles and cold shoulders and had to remind or inform people of whom he was. No one in Raven tail was someone to laugh at...no one. That being said, another job that did not involve putting his foot in the toilet would be great. Akira did have respect for himself after all. "Sounds good."

He stood up from the stool and extended a hand out to Green for a handshake. However, when he did, he squeezed it a bit. "Though, I'd like to know who I'm working with." He asked, pointing out that Green had yet to introduce himself. Formality was kind of a thing at the guild, as was respect. And while Akira lacked some of that for the opposite gender guild-mates, he did better with the formality part. He needed to be at least slightly respectable if he didn't want to get kicked out of the guild, which in Raven tail's case meant death. Loose ends were never a good thing. "But yeah, I wouldn't mind getting out of the grunt work."

OOC: Sorry for the wait >.>

It seemed the man before him was interested in doing some work before extending his hand for a handshake, Green accepted it with a smirk and gave a chuckle as the man pointed out that he had no idea who he was. "Ah but of course, I am Green. Who might you be?" Green replied with and in turned inquired as to his partner's name. Nodding to himself slowly and at the success of acquiring a fellow Guild Member to assist on this mission was the first step completed, the second step was actually getting the mission and something that made Green sigh in annoyance. "We best head back up stairs then and find a job to do, otherwise we'll get handed something that isn't particularly good." Green then spoke before gesturing for the man to follow as he headed towards the elevator to send them back up to the Raven Tail quarter, Green flashing his Raven Tail symbol to the camera before pressing the concealed button for them to get up to the third floor.

However, it seemed luck was against them today for as soon as they'd step out of elevator. A tall, bulky man appeared before them with a grin on his face. "I haven't zeen you two around , you guyz must be the little footsoldierz." He jeered, pointing at them with a large finger of his before chuckling. "Thiz iz great, you guyz can go do that ztupid job for me! Ha! Like you two had a choice, go get thiz done lozerz and make zure it's done properly!" He continued before tossing a piece of paper at Green, whoever this guy was he was most likely an upper-class guildie and he obviously has some sort of speech impedament since his accent showed no signs of being foriegn. Green watched as the man soon walked off with a little spring in his step at having dumped his work on these two, well it was good that they had a job to do now but failure of it could mean more trouble.

Reading over the job it seemed pretty simple, collect payment from three shops and return it. Easy, simple. Why couldn't that guy do it? "Well, this seems simple enough. Collecting payments owed to the Guild, how hard could that be?" Green said to Akira and with that they had to head back down the elevator and out onto the streets of Trillium.

OOC: Taking over for Fenix since he's AWOL.

Up on the third floor of the Raven Tail Guild, within the room shared by Hikari Kogitsune and Nathaniel Deveraux, the rising star of Raven Tail was taking in a late morning. She was still in bed, snoozing the day away. She had been so burnt out with Security duties in the guild casino. A break is just what she needed. She started to stir, however. Tossing and turning within the sea of sheets. With a low grumble, she finally sat up. Her face held a groggy expression, her hair wild and untamed after a long, much needed rest. She yawned and stretched, arms held in the air, back arching, and toes curling as joints popped and returned to life. Her arms soon dropped, hands moving to tossle the mess of scarlet and ebony locks that cascaded about her head like the snakes of Medusa's hair. After finally getting the will to do so, she dragged her sluggish form out of bed, her seven tails trailing lifelessly behind her as she lumbered to the bathroom for a quick 'wake-me-up' shower.

After a good thirty minutes, the bathroom door opened. Steam billowed forth as the vulpine half breed emerged, clad in two towels. One wrapped taut around her body while the other rested over her head. She dried herself, then dressed herself in relatively casual attire. A pair of charcoal black shorts with a scarlet belt, a fitted matching tank top, and a pair of comfortable sandals. She decided to be lazy with her hair. She brushed it out, then just left it down. Her bangs hung in her face a little, prompting her to nudge them off to the side in order to prevent any vision obscuring. The last thing she put on was her black collar. There was a silver tag attached. The letter 'N' was inscribed on the tag. Now satisfied with her 'casual Friday' look, she finally emerged from the room and headed out into the hall.

She began to walk towards the elevator when, much to her surprise, Green was there with some guy, as well as another upper tier guild member, like her. She scowled when the guildie dumped his work on Green and the other stranger, whom she assumed was a new member. When the skeezeball guild member walked by her, a tail just so happened to fall into his path, tripping the bulky male. He fell with a loud thud, Hikari now walking off while sneering. She approached Green, smiling warmly before she spoke. "So, dumped with work, huh? Mind if I tag along? I'm off security duty today, so I'm pretty bored. Hope I'm not intruding." She just wanted to get out. She was in a good mood, and didn't want to waste it indoors.

The other member didn't say much else, despite being interested in the job. Though what did catch his attention was the sound of someone falling over and as he looked over he saw, of all people, Hikari walking towards them. He grinned at the sight of her and smiled back as she approached, soon speaking and Green nodded. "Yeah, as usual." Green replied with a bit of an annoyed sigh before he looked towards Hikari, the other male having not said anything else seemed to not be bothered, Green soon took Hikari's hand and began to walk her towards the elevator. "Come on 'Kari, let's get this job over with, shall we?" He said and gave her hand a gentle squeeze as he lead her to the elevator before pressing the button and waiting for the elevator, which wasn't the usual long waiting time, he soon heading in the elevator after Hikari and pressing the button for the ground floor after him.

The doors closed and the elevator began it's descent. "As much as I'd like to do something else with you, guild work comes first - in this case anyway. Especially when some meat head dumps it on you. I guess you can see what I've had to deal with whilst you were still a part of Fairy Tail." Green said to Hikari with a sly grin before giving her a gentle squeeze of a hug. "A-anyway, the job is simple really. We go to three shops and get some payment, protection money I'm guessing, and then bring it back to the Guild." He then added rather hastily as the elevator doors opened revealing a family heading to the second floor, Green gave them a nod before he lead Hikari past them and towards the entrance and soon out of the Guild and down the stairs and onto the street.

"Where do you think we should head first, two of the shops are down that way," Green began, pointing down the road, "the other one is up that way." He then added, using his thumb to point behind him and up the road.

Hikari couldn't help but dislike the annoyed tone in Green's voice. Maybe it was better if she went on this job with him. At least she could lighten his mood a little, be it with bad puns or playful banter. Any of those typically worked. She blinked when he seized her hand, now leading her on towards the elevator. She would simply smile and grip his hand firmly in return, nodding in response to his words on getting the job over with. The two stood in the elevator, Green now speaking. She would blush at his implied words, but it soon faded to a more serious nod as he continued on. She then smiled as he did, the two meeting in a brief embrace before he went on to explain about the mission. Seemed easy enough. Simple collections job. She had never done any jobs like this one, so it was up to Green to take the lead. However, should anyone be so bold as to refuse payment, Hikari's presence should serve as some form of intimidation. She was becoming fairly well known. She wasn't exactly famous, but her ranking in the Guild brought attention to her all the same. She nodded to Green, understanding the task at hand. His hand squeezed hers, her own hand squeezing a little tighter.

The elevator soon dinged, the doors opening to reveal the ground floor, as well as a family entering to go up a floor. Green had escorted Hikari past them, and swiftly out of the guild in general. Now at the streets, Green spoke once again. He noted how two shops were in one direction, and the third was in another. Hikari thought for a moment, only to speak her idea. "Why don't we take out the two down that way first? Y'know. Two birds, one stone sort of thing. We can then double back and hit the third shop, then head back to the guild. Easy, yeah?" She smiled to Green, her hands now resting upon her hips, tails idly swaying in unison whilst she awaited Green's yay or nay on her suggestion.
