Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

"Saving something that curcial for later is suchhh a stupid idea," Alice commented, not even looking at Vayne. She was just staring up at the trees and sun, just some reveling in the freedom outside. Before she forgot about her other supplies, Alice walked over to the tree she was hiding in and gave a slight hop to grab up onto a branch. From there she grabbed her bag that had been sitting there waiting for her. Without much hesitation, she stuffed the plunder she just gained into her bag and then took account of all the other things in her bag. There was always the chance that while these two were talking to her someone else was coming over in some sneaky fashion in order to take what was hers. But, fortunately, there was nothing missing from her bag; no people nor animals had taken advantage of the lack of a visual from below.

I guess this means that there are only two of them? she thought to herself, Or maybe they're trying to lead me to a trap! She entertained the idea somewhat excitedly, but pushed the thought away from her mind. The protective nature of the two of them didn't really afford itself to working in teams with many other people. After all, creating a bond between two people meant that others would be invariably left out. And it would be hard to create high bonds of trust between people that felt left out, at least enough to organize a highly coordinated and tricky ambush. Well that or they're very good actors, she thought. But she dismissed the thought once again. She didn't get that particular feeling from them and she was much too distracted by the chance of the good job coming up to entertain that thought for much longer.

Her thoughts about possible ambush and thorough checking of supplies finally over, she jumped back down from the tree, bracing herself once again for the fall. Slinging the bag over her right shoulder so that her left hand was free, she listened as Vayne began talking again about how she would have opportunities to kill mages. She laughed at what she thought was a dumb joke. "Obviously it's nice to kill the mages, but I still need information about them," she said in a demeaning tone. She shook her head slightly and began to walk down the road. "It's a damn miracle that you've managed to even survive this long." Playing nice was definitely her strong suit.

As they walked down the road, she walked a further away, and slightly diagonal to them. She was positioned behind them but not far enough back that they wouldn't be able to see her in their peripheral. Alice amused herself by twirling Nyx around her index finger. "Ha, wouldn't it be hilarious if I accidentally shot while doing this," she said aloud to no one. After enough experience she knew her weapon well enough to know how to not set it off, but it always occurred to her that it would be a funny situation if she actually did one day shoot herself with it while playing around. The habit itself was sourced by some old goofy movie crystal. It was entertaining gunplay by people in dusty towns, with so little rule; that was probably what attracted her to those corny things. They were, after all, the pinnacle of wildness, where you took what you want and the strong flourished. Even the sheriff of the towns would rule primarily by force, shooting and hanging those that came up against them. "Oh the exciting times that could have been!" It was a bad habit of hers to talk aloud, but filtering her thoughts usually required a lot of effort. She really didn't care enough to do so.

Suddenly though, prompted possibly by the perturbing nature of her personality, he asked about her crazy level. She laughed once again. "Hahaha! Crazy? I'm just honest and I know what I want. That's all their society is-" she motioned Nyx in the general direction of the town, "They're all just people too afraid to say what they want and go after what they want." she said, still facing forward on the road. There was nothing more dull than seeing the people in the town so obsessed with being normal or within acceptable bounds. It was the greats like herself that showed them what it was like to be able to do anything and everything that they ever wanted. It was people like her that discovered new and awesome thing and were able to change the state that they were in. No, the people in the town would probably never see anything outside of their towns until they grew old and died; it was such a waste of an existence. There was no reason to not go out and explore and do all the greatest things that you could; she doubted if any of them in the town ever really got to experience the thrill of a fight! The potential to die if you weren't strong enough. It was more incredible than anything they could ever do in such a stupidly stagnant place.

With the comment as about being a mage, though, she stopped in her tracks, and stopped playing with Nyx. Immediately she shot one of the bullets at the ground in front of the other two, not intending to hit. Her eyes were black and violent, her face no longer laughing. "Don't you ever dare call me that again. Mages are weak pieces of shit, hiding behind their magic. They don't ever develop true strength. Garbage, all of them." It was a threat and she meant it. There was nothing she despised than mages other than maybe books, but those were so inconsequentially inanimate. She might be able to ignore a book if she wasn't looking at it, but most mages couldn't be ignored. Stupid things.

Alicia refused to drop the topic of the Mages so he answered with the truth. "I'm gonna be honest with you here Alicia, I have no idea, they could be Guild Leaders as far as I know, but i'm willing to take that risk, are you?" It was a risky move telling her as it was like that but he thought that he owed her that much.

"I wouldn't call Katherina a miracle but she is the reason I have survived this long." It was cheesy, but it as the truth, if Vayne had to count every time Katherina had been there to protect him in there last few years together he would lose count in an instant. Katherina never took praise for what she saw as her duty. However, protecting Vayne, that was all there was for her deep down. Not because he was the Master but because she wanted to. Vayne had protected Katherina a long time ago and now she was returning the favour. So when Alicia had put a gun to Vayne's head before she threatened Katherina's entire existence which see saw as grounds for execution, thus her hate towards Alicia.

"So you're one of those crazies, those that think there what's right with the world and everything is dysfunctional." Katherina would tease, seriously doubting the logic behind what Alicia had just said. Honest and blatant disrespect had quite a space between they but Alicia closed that gap graceful with every sentence that came out of her mouth.

Mages. Mages were definitely her soft spot, Vayne had seen her crazy face before and her angry crazy face as well but never this one that appeared as Vayne mentioned Mages. She lost it stopping and shooting to the ground in front of Vayne and Katherina. Katheria must have seen her pull her gun because she was in front of Vayne ready to take a bullet for him but it was a false alarm as the bullet was aimed at the ground.

Alicia was a mage that much he was sure, it was just a feeling you got around other Mages no matter how weak or strong you could always tell. "Okay Okay dropping it." Vayne would say withdrawing his question. He could tell that there was more behind it but obviously that conversation was over. Vayne could risk pursuing the point in defense of Mages, but Alicia was amped up as is.

See that Vayne she's insane next time it could be coming for your head, we can't trust her. Katherina would say as they resumed their journey, Katherina walking behind Vayne now in case Alicia had another episode. Everyone has their problems Kat we can't just not trust the person where planning to commit a felony with. Whenever Vayne and Katherina had there little mental conversations it was quite obvious as random expressions would appear on their faces in response to the each others statements.

If anything Oshibana Town was peaceful, well on the surface at least, its native residents seemed kind enough and the tourists that added to the current population on the streets were too focused on their own agendas to bother much with anyone else. They had some time still an hour and more as the walk to the town didn't take very long. "Well we know you're not from around here Alicia these people are so friendly and you're just . . ." Katherina would let the sentence hang and Vayne could only shake his head. "Is there anything you need to do before we head to the station, we have some time left." Vayne would ask from his experience with Katherina and her irregular bathroom schedule.

She stopped for a moment doing what she was doing when Vayne said that he wasn't quite sure what the quality of mages were that were guarding the guild merchants. There was no malice in her gaze, but just a curiosity, a slight interest. "So..-and this is just to be clear- you want to go rob a train and target three merchants that, for all you know, might not have anything on their person. Plus they have a small escort that you have absolutely NO information on? And for all we know they are each stronger than each of us combined with powers we can't even imagine?" She kept her stare on the two of them, flicking her eyes between the two in between sentences, allowing for the situation to sink into their heads. Taking a moment to respond further, her gaze snapped back to a strangely happy look; it was a look of someone that was slightly off in their happiness, like there was something hiding behind the smile. "Oh well! Can't be helped now," she said cheerfully, dropping the topic. "Guess we'll find out who's stronger then!"

It was somewhat of a stupid idea, she knew pretty quickly, and she had been thinking about it from the moment that Vayne had introduced the idea. But even before then she was somewhat cautious about picking her fights, at least in theory. Now that the situation was placed before her, though, she was only focusing on how potentially fun it would be to possibly destroy the mages that were on the train. It would be much more satisfying destroying them than hitting that stupid passerby that they had just robbed. Not only that, but a chance at a reward! Her grin spread wider across her face as she thought about it.

"They'll all get smashed into the ground. Heh heh..." she said, her words lightly leaving her mouth. Her imagination started to run wild at the idea and chance to fight. Now that she had decided to just go for it, caution now a thing of the past. It was a terrible defense system for her, knowing about possible threats and then eventually just deciding to not care anymore, but when it came down to it, the idea of running away scared just because she did not know all the possibilities was pathetic. She would leave those kinds of actions to the strategists that hid behind the lines while the real fighters took on the true challenge of the front lines. That was where she was most happy anyway.

Vayne mentioned how it was Katherina that was keeping him alive, but Alice said nothing in response. It was not the same kind of survival in her eyes if someone had to keep on relying on someone else in order to make it out of a battle alive. She did wonder though what the two of them were capable of. She had secrets up her sleeve, yes, but the things that she did with her fighting would be effective regardless of whether or not someone would see it coming. Or at least that is how it was with her conventional fighting style, though even the "style" was somewhat of an overly grandiose way of describing her mad way of fighting.

Katherina spoke in a somewhat spiting tone over what Alice said about society. Alice looked at her, entertained. "Haha silly girl. I don't care about who or what's right and wrong. Because it doesn't matter either way. If I kill them, then they are neither, they're just dead! Hahahahaha! Who needs right or wrong when you can have strength and power. If you have enough, you can be free from everything and nothing can stop you." It was the truth and she knew it. Freedom to do whatever she wanted was the ultimate goal, and by gaining power she would be able to do it. Eventually no one would be able to deny her her freedom. "Remember that!"

After their walking and her eventual shooting at the ground, she was already prepared for a fight. Her hand was shaking a little in anticipation after firing the shot. She was not particularly invested in the idea of having to fight these two, but if they pushed it she would. Her eyes narrowed a little bit, awaiting a response, whether it was for battle or otherwise. Katherina of course reacted in order to possibly take a bullet for Vayne, but Alice knew it was pointless as there was no intended target. Vayne, rather than decide to go for the fight, decided to drop the topic immediately. As if by way of a switch, Alice's look returned to normal and she smiled again, "Good! Now let's keep going!" She said, returning both her guns to her sides and walking again. Alice knew her actions were unpredictable, but they made perfect sense to her. And if it made sense to her then it was correct, no matter what the others thought of it.

They soon entered the town, and already Alice was growing bored of the place. It was too quiet, too peaceful, at least in the broad daylight that it was. She had heard rumors that there was some trouble around the place, and if they would have come later at night then she was sure there would be some more interesting moments to be had. Unfortunately for her they weren't there at the correct time so she wouldn't be able to participate in any of those. Vayne mentioned that there was an hour or so left until they were to go to figure out the plan, and Alice tried to figure out what she wanted to do. She wondered what to do in the meantime. "If this were a bigger town I would have suggested finding somewhere to gamble away, but in such a small town I doubt such a place exists. And even if it does it's probably held by some underground gang, and they'll probably not be ready to do anything until night. Booooorrrringggg. What else is there to do in this shitty town? Did you say you wanted food?" She spoke somewhat loudly about the town, but she didn't particularly care. If anyone said anything, it'd just give her more reason to do something.

Food and sleep were the only two reasons she actually liked entering these kinds of towns. Other than that because of how small they were a commotion would be noticed by the whole of the town, and that usually meant too much trouble, especially when they were going to attempt to pull off a job a little later. She figured over food they would also be able to talk about the details of the job before they actually tried to execute the plan. She had never legally taken the train before so she wasn't sure how they operated or how to get into the primary carriages that undoubtedly the merchants would be in. For that matter, she didn't even know what the merchants looked like. This plan is pretty crappy... she thought to herself.

Vayne would have to agree with Alicia, the town was boring, maybe it was because they didn't have the purpose the others who looked busy and purposefully bustling around had. He was hungry though and it wouldn't be hard to find a place to find a meal in a place where tourists constantly passed through, there must have been dozens of them around but Vayne would prefer one closer to the train station if possible. "Something to eat sounds good since were gonna need to be at full energy for what we're about to do, Alicia will be sponsoring since she got the big cut." Vayne would say not waiting for Alicia to respond before beginning his search for a place to eat gravitating towards the direction of the train station. "In that case I'll spare no expensive." Katherina would add before moving to catch up with Vayne.

The city was quite busy as one would expect since the trains that came and left throughout the day the brought and carried tourists in and out of the city on a hourly basis. The streets were pretty crowded in a great part to the amount of merchant stalls set up on the streets that drew quite a bit of attention. They most likely sold little souvenirs but nothing that would interest Vayne.

They would find a simple little restaurant and take a seat with a window view where the train station could be seen a few blocks away, the source of the incoming and outgoing traffic of the city. The station itself had a pretty good security detail if you calculated through quantity over quality. The knights that patrolled the Station where most likely privates of recent recruits given something to do. They could rob the men here just relieve them of their briefcases and disappear into the crowd. That plan however had too many flaws to consider seriously, with the knights plus the threat that the bodyguards could be anymore and strike them down in the crowd unexpectedly.

The train was there best bet and Vayne believed he had it all figured it out after taking what he knew and applying it to the situation logically, what he came up with he considered to be nothing short of brilliant. "Okay so listen and listen carefully, the route to the town where love and lucky is located is fairly long, an hour long for the most." Vayne was recalling what he remembered from the map of train routes he had examined earlier today. "The first step of the plan will be stopping the train in the center of it's route, Katherina will handle that by taking out the conductor and using the controls, she'll be in the first car closest to him." Vayne would say and look to her for confirmation. Katherina would nod in reply and Vayne would continue.

"Alice me and you will be in the third car which is in the center, this is where the Love & Lucky merchants will be, well its where they were this morning lets just hope they're creatures of habit. When Katherina stops the train Alicia you go in for the brief cases, I'll have your back because this is the time the bodyguards will have to reveal themselves, anyone who moves is considered hostile at this point. But we don't fight them. Not yet." He would say and look to Alicia for confirmation. "We have to do this fast because in ten seconds of stopping the train Katherina is gonna start it again and get off and we have to off as well. This way it'll be as if it never happened drawing no attention to ourselves." He would stop explaining as a waitress delivered three menus to them then leave .

Vayne would continue then. "Now our escape, before anything when we get off the train we each get a briefcase, for obvious reasons, then we head into the forest to the left of where we'll be stopping the train. It's heavily forested terrain we could easily throw off any pursuers in there but we stick together and only split up up if we're being chased if we do split up lose your tail. Most likely those bodyguards are going to be chasing after us, you lose them anyway you can and only then circle back to the track so we can regroup." He would end the explanation of his plan there and pick up one of the delivered menus and look at it covering his face. "If you have any questions now would be the time to ask." He would say from behind the menu hiding the grin that was spread on his face. He though it was brilliant but what would they think.

Alice looked around the town, not finding anything of any real interest. She had already given up on the idea that a town this small had anything of any relevance to her other than maybe having some people with items to be taken. She knew that there was little to do in the town during the day, especially because the only major landmark that she could tell was the train station. It was sad, really, because that meant that a majority of their economy was probably based on that train station. Sure, visiting the city would be easy enough for travelers, but why would they even want to be there in the first place. There was almost nothing of value to be had for someone that was just journeying. Maybe there was something else in the town that she did not quite understand, but as it stood she would have hated to stay in Oshibana for more than a day. Something about small towns made her feel cooped up, probably because anything she did would resound through the whole town, rather than the specific area that she would be messing with.

Vayne, though had some sort of a crazy idea that Alice would be somehow bound to pay for the other two when they got something to eat. Even with the job coming up, Alice wasn't sure if she was even hungry. Part of it was due to the fact that her hunger for action and victims was stronger than her hunger for actual food; once she was able to pull off enough jobs and gain enough in the day then she would definitely consider getting food, not before. But she still went along with them, not really entertaining Vayne's stupid idea. She had a plan for that, but it would be settled when they got around to whatever food place they were going. Walking without trying to keep pace with the other two at all, she looked up at the boring, depressing buildings that were all around her. The town seemed to make no effort to be interesting. In her mind, though, she was thinking about the train station and how that one day she would definitely come back to the town to cause trouble. Her imagination raced as she thought about holding out at the top of the stairs of the train station, beating down the foolish town that seemed so content with its boring nature. That day would be a long time coming, but kept that idea in her head so she would eventually remember to do it when she had the strength to do so. She smiled, though, because even the thought of having such a battle made her enjoy her time at least a little bit while they walked through the town.

The crowd wasn't quite as dense as a normal city would be, but there were enough people around for it to feel just a little less than a ghost town, considering they were getting closer to the train station. Very likely half of them were tourists, ones that she still couldn't understand as they were visiting an extremely dull and boring town. A few of them looked at her outfit with curiosity but kept on walking; others looked at her with some level of disdain at her strange outfit. The ones that looked at her wth curiosity she ignored, but those that looked at her otherwise she would glare back, a part of her wanting to take them down as she did earlier with the man in the forest, but she knew that it would spoil the job that she was planning on doing with the other two. Even her violent nature could be stemmed by some form of profit. She observed delayed gratification if it meant that she would benefit greatly by holding back her impulses from time to time; even attacking these two she was with was something that she was willing to not do if it offered the chance at a better job.

They came to a simple restaurant, and Vayne and Katherina went in almost immediately. But Alice, being herself, held back for a moment, sighing at the simplicity that the other two seemed to be content with. The restaurant had nothing apparently special about its design. Reluctantly, though, she walked into the restaurant and sat down with them. It appeared that Vayne had some semblance of a plan, but it wasn't her particular style; after all it had a lot to do with sneaking and stealth. Her plans generally involved her just going straight for the target without really caring about that stealth; after all, how would they gain their notoriety if no one could tell who committed the crime. “Can your plan get any more dull than that? No real excitement from it.” She already knew what she had to do when the time came. When they decided to escape she already planned to be a little bit more sloppy than she would normally be, just to give the stupid mage bodyguards a chance to pursue. After all there was no point in the plan if they were just trying to get money. She could have done that by attacking every person that walked by in the forest. No, in order to get the true excitement that she wanted there would have to be a battle and she would take the necessary steps to ensure that one did ensue. “Oh well, I'll go along with it, though.”

It seemed like they wanted to fight in the forest, which was decent for her. There would be less disturbances there and if she decided to not kill the mages she faced she would actually be able to spread her fame via their beaten faces. That was the new plan in her mind. She would allow herself to sneak like a rat for a little while, but then she would make sure to still stay true to what she wanted to do; Vayne and Katherina were no bosses of her. They were apparently not motivated by the same things that motivated Alice. “Fine, but some of your plan has flaws. As long as it doesn't get me killed, though...” she said, simply, opening her menu to order. It was less like her to speak very little, but the plan was running through her head in order to finish plans and ideas for things that were to happen. A lot of the plan was based on assumptions, which was dangerous, but it would have to be good enough for her for the moment. If the plan turned out to be more dangerous than originally anticipated, she would have to figure a way out of it then.

Alicia called his master plan that he took ten minutes to devise boring but she was in which meant that it wasn't a bad plan either and Vayne could live with that. However considering that she considered practically hijacking a train in the middle of nowhere boring Vayne would prefer to stay away from her version of something fun. The surprises just kept coming with her unique personality and way of thinking, it made her unpredictable. Good Unpredictable or Bad Unpredictable was the question.

"You good right Kat?" He would asked turning his attention from Alicia who sat across the table from him and to Katherina who sat besides him. "I'm good Vayne." She would say but then continue her statement over there mind link. But I still don't trust her Vayne she's a wild card and could jeapordise this entire thing with her antics and if that happens, if she deviates from the plan we turn around and leave her in the heat, got it? Katherina sounded heartless as she thought to him. Vayne didn't like her terms but it was Katherina, it wasn't like he had much of a choice. "Okay were a go then, now we wait." Vayne would say going back into his menu. There wasn't much available just simple pastries and different types of tea, this was one of those places.

When the waitress returned Vayne would just order some tea, so would Katherina and while they awaited her return Vayne would speak to Alicia. "So what kind of magic do you use Alicia?" Vayne would ask despite the fact that she had asked him to drop it and he did this for one simple reason. It was the only topic she had showed any sort of emotion but pure lunatism to and he hoped she wouldn't pull a gun on him again since she was in a dinner and not back in the forest, The Knights Of Fiore literally right around the corner, not even she could be that crazy.

He found it so strange for a Mage to hate Mages since it would also mean hating yourself and if you didn't hate yourself then it just made you a hypocrite to your own standards. If it was the case and she did hate herself it would explain her behaviour to an extent, but it still intrigued him why she hated Mages as much as she did. This was another one of the reasons Katherina had grown to dislike her, she obviously held a lot of hate towards Mages and both her and Vayne were mages which meant she automatically hated them as well.

Beside thoughts of Alicia the robbery was also running through Vayne's mind, everytime he thought it over he would see several different flaws in his plan but ignored them with all the good will and hope he had left since it was mostly the paranoia of failure that had him second guessing and if he paid any attention to it he would never have a plan in time to do what they had come to. The mystery of the mages still left a huge hole of unpredictability in his plan since who they were and how strong they were would determine the outcome of their efforts. He was confident however that with Katherina at his side they could handle anything that was thrown at them but Alicia was who he was worried about. In his experience guns weren't the most reliable of weapons unless they were the extremely powerful ones which he had heard could pierce through a persons entire skull with a single shot.

The grandfather clock that helped decorate the small yet cosy little dinner ticked away and Vayne counted to sixty in his head then looked back at the clock continuously, counting the seconds which annoyed Katherina but it was Vayne's way of coping with his joint anticipation and fear so she left him to it as it would soon be time. Don't worry Vayne either way we're gonna come up on top of all this. Katherina would reassure him as the waitress returned with their orders.

Alice looked down at the table, her hands already getting twitchy from not being able to do anything in the small restaurant. Already resigning herself to not causing any trouble in the place until the heist went down, she decided not to play with her guns as she wanted to. At the very least she wanted to twirl them around, but she doubted that, especially in such a slow, small town, would be seen as an okay thing to do. Ugh this job better be worth it she thought to herself, grinding her teeth slightly as she looked around, much like a little kid that was kept in their seat. It seemed that even being in a restaurant was too much for her; usually she preferred to grab food and go. It seemed though that Katherina also agreed on the plan, though the question that Vayne posed implied that she hadn't known the full plan details yet either until Vayne told them there.

There was nothing to do in the restaurant for her until the waitress came. The other two both just ordered tea, rather than follow suit she decided to grab something small. “Give me two of these,” she said, pointing towards some pastries on the menu but not looking at the waitress. She rudely flicked the menu up towards the girl until she took it, still not looking at her. Alice's hand twitched again, though, when Vayne asked about her magic, almost reaching for her gun; self-control was the key of the day it seemed, though, as she knew she couldn't go and kill him at this point. At least not with the plan not even begun yet. “Yeah, I have the ability to bash your fuckin' skull in.” The kid was lucky he offered her something more important today. A chance to profit was nothing to shy away from.

“I thought we're here to do a job, not play twenty questions. I'm sure as hell not going to answer some curious kid. Stay relevant. When is the train going to get here?”

She immediately cut through any side chatter, not looking to bond with these two newfound kids. They were, after all, temporarily cutting into her possible day's profit and fun by having her sitting there in the bland and boring restaurant. Plus they didn't even go there to eat, apparently, judging by their simple order of tea. It seemed a bit ridiculous to need to come to such a place to do anything other than consume. But it didn't much matter to her, because, after all, if they didn't decide to get anything particularly substantial maybe they would just die outright and she would be able to take all of the loot. That was a hopeful turnout, but it was partially unlikely. All she knew was that she would destroy any of the bodyguards that decided to come after her. It would be good to just let loose and destroy someone without thinking. Even the perfect cover of the forest would make for some entertaining times. The thought was exciting and cooled her down from having to wait in such a dull place.

Bored, though, and needing to play with something in her hands, she took her napkin and folded it. Her practiced hands danced delicately along the edges of the paper napkin, finely folding each portion. It was something that she had learned over time, especially being around the huge number of books she always had to read every week of every year for those long, long years near her home. She made more tears and folds all around the napkin, finally forming it into a simple crane. It was one of the few times where she could delicately handle something, just by virtue of being around paper so much and so often. Though she had hated almost every minute of it, there were some skills that she had picked up for when she was bored. This was just one of the few times that she was around anything paper based. After all there wasn't much paper around the forests. Sure there was some around the city, but she rarely committed herself to city crimes unless she could help it. It was in the silence of the wild that she could really just do whatever she wanted with very little consequence. The folding had taken a little less than a minute, taking somewhat longer than her usual because she wasn't particularly focused on making it, plus the actual material was a little bit more flimsy than she would have preferred. It made it harder to make precise folds as she wanted.

After making it, though, she sat it down on the table and flicked it with her finger off the edge of it, not caring about where it fell. The process was more entertaining than the end result, and, being that paper cranes had no actual value, she didn't care much for her creations after it was done. Thankfully right after she was done with the folding and talking with the other two about her skills, the waitress came back, presumably it was quicker to make what they ordered than an actual meal. Taking her two pastries, she decided to take a slightly messy bite out of one while wrapping the other in another napkin for later. She lived in her own little world, but sometimes she did think ahead just in case she might need food for an extended encounter or trip out in the woods.

As expected Alicia responded to Vayne's inquiry of her magic with her usual behavioral pattern in hand, she didn't pull her gun on him and Katherina didn't get the opportunity to go for her head like she was dying for if she did. However while she had control enough to keep her weapon hidden she wasn't afraid to curse and rather loudly to drawing the attention of the other two people that occupied the restaurant. "Right because the bunny outfit doesn't bring you attention enough." Katherina would spit her comment at Alicia. All Vayne could do was shake his head in disapproval when she did. This meant little to nothing in Katherina's eyes since to her this was part of keeping him safe, safe from Alicia, both directly and indirectly.

While Vayne needed to hear his voice continuously to keep his sanity it would seem that Alicia preferred it if he found some other subject for his habit by putting him in his place about what she was about here which would make that question to Alicia his last. Then and there he would give up on trying to be anything but a temporary acceptance hence fort since clearly Alicia was interested in nothing else. "In half an hour or so, as soon as were finished here we should head to the station." He would say to her speaking the most serious he had since they met. Katherina would smile at the latest development finally getting her way.

Vayne and Katherina would sip on there rather heated tea when it was delivered to them while Alicia took to her selected pastries. It wasn't a tea Vayne had tasted before and the only reason he selected it was because of the fancy name it had that he was unable to recall without referring to the menu. It tasted quite good though, a mysterious blend of something minty, spicy and soothing, good enough that Vayne was able to finish it quickly without having to force himself. Katherina on the other hand didn't take a liking to the unique blend of flavors and didn't touch hers after the third or fourth sip.

As quick as he was it still took Vayne ten minutes to finish his tea. He would give everyone time to finish before he announced it was time for them to depart. Before leaving he would drop there owed fee on the table and exit the restaurant quietly.

The streets were as busy as they were before they had entered the restaurant and while they made there way to the train station the closer they got the thicker the crowd became. This didn't help with time, and in addition upon arrival to the station there was a line at the ticket booth that wasn't discouragingly long but nothing Vayne would ever put himself through so he would leave Katherina there to buy the tickets while he conducted a little search of the boarding area where the train would be arriving inviting Alicia to come with him.

Katherina didn't like the idea of two of them alone together but Vayne didn't give her much of an option. Judging by the turnout at the boarding area Vayne assumed that the train would be pretty scarce when it came to passengers. This was better for his part of the operation because less people meant less potential bodyguards to loo out for. All of this he would point out to Alicia and relay to Katherina through mind link along with pointing out the three men they would be robbing. Three of them occupying a bench placed for specifically that reason at the boarding area. They were joking with each other laughing, about what they couldn't tell, but there mood meant that there assignment here must have been successful.

Katherina would join them not long after, just in time to see the front of the train coming from the distance. "This is it good luck, and don't mess this up for us Alicia." Katherina would say and distribute the tickets she had bought. The train would arrive and come to a full stop where they waited, exactly like Vayne had explained it a simple three car train. Vayne counted twelve get off then fourteen get on. Here they would split up and take their places. They would enter last to draw away initial suspicions then Vayne would proceed to the middle car and assume his position the three men there as expected. Katherina would move up to the first car as planned. Good luck Kat. he would think to her making zero eye contact as she passed by and into the first.

The middle chart was made up of twelve rows of three six on each side, the three men they were seated in the fourth row on the left counting from the front. In this cart with them were five other individuals. One in the first row to the left another in the second to the left and the final three on the right. Two in the first and the last in the third. Vayne sat in the last row on the right. The stage was set and as the train pulled out from the safety of the station there plan considered a go.

Alice tore into the pastry messily, though she was taking relatively small bites. There was the want to actually eat her food, but also the need to not choke on something as stupid as bread. That had happened a long time ago, when she was eating something spitefully; it had been a relatively similar kind of restaurant in Hargeon. She had been irritated by a job that she had attempted to pull off the day before but it turned out that she had been given bad information by someone that she convinced earlier that day. So when she was eating, she was doing so with as much malice as food consumption could show. It had ended relatively poorly, though, and she had almost choked on the food she was so hard to project her anger on. She had managed to keep herself from choking with a couple strategic hits to her own back, but it was the cause of some embarrassment regardless; so much so that she had actually stormed out of the restaurant in question without doing anything to the patrons.

Sure if she had looked closer she would have noticed that some had legitimate concern for her well-being, but even that seemed to be more of looking down on her than those that found amusement in her stupidity. And so that was why she continued to eat her pastry with smaller, more manageable bites, regardless of the lack of neatness, in front of Vayne and Katherina. She wasn't attempting to be demure or anything so presumptuous; rather, she was just trying not to give them the satisfaction of her almost choking on some food. A bit more traumatic than I assumed, she thought to herself, taking a bite and bringing the pastry to half.

Katherina made a comment about her outfit, and Alice's eyes made a bee line for her. “Oh how cute. This little shit of a twelve year-old thinks she knows things.” Smiling lightly, she took another bite of her pastry. She wasn't to be baited into an argument or physically attacking Katherina, not at the moment. Eventually, when the other two were separated on another day she might decide to take up Katherina on her strong sounding words. But with the job coming up and the fact that there were two of them was still troubling and playing on her mind; the problem was she knew they wouldn't be separated enough for her to actually take on Katherina. Vayne would undoubtedly show up to save his dear Katherina and vice versa, making it a stupid venture to take on without getting considerably stronger than them. And on that thought she tried to figure out what the strength was of the two sitting before her. It was hard to get a solid gauge on them because they really hadn't done anything but react to her own actions of threat. Sure Vayne had to have had a moderate amount of strength to kick the man back in the forest, but that meant little in the way of actual power as the man had already been off his guard, assuming that the two had come to save him rather than deprive Alice of the full enjoyment of her hunt.

Katherina had reacted somewhat when Alice fired a bullet earlier, but even then she seemed to do little more than try to act as a human shield. That was probably their flaw, their need to protect the other at the cost of their life; that strength was actually a major weakness, as willingness to die for the other meant that they were always prepared to die, rather than always being prepared to just kill everyone that they came across. Having to worry about another individual would dull anyone's abilities, as they could never truly go wild without having to keep the well-being of the other in the back of their mind. Those split-seconds of thought could mean the difference between life and death. That disgustingly cute attitude of theirs will be their downfall eventually. She doubted that it was her that was going to end the two of them, because in the time it took for her to gain the strength to defeat them would probably be the same amount of time it took for them to expire from some job gone wrong. She laughed at the idea.

They seemed to be relatively content with just their tea, so she just shrugged off the fact that they didn't even want to get food before the fight. She made sure that she had something in her stomach, but not enough for it to affect her battle ability. The pastry filled that purpose quite well. Leaving to get up, Vayne dropped some money on the table. Not caring whether or not the money covered her part or not, she walked out as well; she had been planning on walking out without paying in the first place. After all, they would at worst bar her from coming back, which meant that she would never have to return to that place again. It was a win-win situation for her. Before stepping out she took from the ground the little crane that she had made only a little earlier.

Once at the station, Vayne had pointed out who the targets were. They were three, bland, uninteresting men, not really worth a good fight. Her priority though was to figure out where the so-called bodyguards were and try to decide which of them she wanted to fight the most. There had to be some giveaway of their strength, but considering the bodyguards were supposedly mages they could have been anyone. Rather grudgingly she followed Vayne. The plan called for the two of them to be in the middle carriage with the targets while Katherina stayed in the front carriage to stop the train. Alice was at least motivated enough to follow this part of the plan. When they entered, though she walked a definite distance away from Vayne so as to not be so obvious that she knew him. He decided that sitting in the farthest right corner would be the best spot to sit.

Alice walked in with a smile on her face, one unlike the dangerous ones that she usually wore. It was a legitimate enough smile, and she stood in the front of their particular carriage, smiling. “Hello everyone!” She said loudly. “I'll be part of your entertainment for your trip today if you don't mind.” She bowed a full ninety degrees. “My name is Lucky Alice, nice to mee-” The train interrupted, and started moving forward; rather than attempt to balance, she fell over and hit the wall next to the door behind her with a small thud. The people on the train looked at her with a little confusion. “Sorry, I guess I'm not so lucky haha! Now I'll need a volunteer for my entertainment,” she said, stabilizing and walking down the isle of the train. She wasn't positive when Katherina was going to stop the train so she just decided to go with the flow.

She stopped immediately when she got to the third row from the front, looking over at the targets and smiling once again. “Hello sirs,” she said, sitting down on the armrest of the third row seats on the left and looking across to them. “I'll need one of you to be my volunteer! Also, do any of you have paper I can use and tear up?” She barely gave anyone time to answer or respond. There was no reason to, she wanted to take control of the conversation so they wouldn't have any room to deny her. “I can show you how to make pretty little things like this!” Opening her hand she produced the origami crane that she had made a little earlier. Bringing her right hand, palm facing outwards, to her face she pretended to whisper at the three men, though she spoke in an almost normal tone, “They say if you make one-thousand of these you can get a wish! How lucky! And I know a lot about luck.” She winked. The act that she put on was not her usual method of doing things, but she knew it to be necessary considering that some of these men were bodyguards and she didn't quite know which ones they were yet.

It may have been an odd move on her part, but at the same time not only did it completely change the atmosphere, it allowed her to get closer to the targets for when Katherina finally did her part. Alice wasn't one to stick to a plan completely, and she definitely didn't like having to sneak around for the majority of it. While she was there she wanted to entertain herself as much as possible, even if it meant doing things like she was already.

Upon entering the train and taking a seat Vayne felt nervous now that it was actually happening and he wasn't thinking about it or planning but he was in it, it was happening now and he was ready. He was confident in his plan and as long as everyone stuck to that plan they wouldn't have any problems. Alicia announcing herself to the entire carriage of passengers however was not part of the plan. Entertainment? What the hell is she doing this isn't part of the plan. Vayne would scream to her through his thoughts using everything he had to keep his surface expressions casual.

Calm down Vayne thats the nervousness talking, think about it this is part of the plan. She would think back to him in an attempt to calm him down. Part of the plan . . . but I don't remember ever. . . He would reply in broken sentences, his thoughts much calmer now as his brain was too busy processing confusion for him to feel anything else, his little episode subsiding. You told her to get the cases from the men right? This must be her way of doing it. There was no way Katherina was supporting Alicia's behaviour so the fact that she trusted this made Vayne trust her methods as well.

Alice would introduce herself to the entire carriage as there entertainment, giving a false name. To Vayne it was the silliest thing he had ever heard but no one there knew better so they didn't doubt her. Vayne couldn't picture Alicia as an entertainer well at least not the fun kind but it turns out she was quite the actress, and with the bunny outfit she was selling it. Alicia was smiling, not the sly grin filled with criminal intent but a normal one, and in addition to that she was actually speaking like a normal person instead of like an escaped convict with anger management issues. She was being normal something Vayne never thought he would see, even if she was just acting.

Vayne still didn't understand what she was up to but calmed by Katherina and the fact that whatever it was seemed to be working Vayne let her do her thing. The train was moving now and Vayne kept alternating his attention between the landscape that was flashing by through the window and Alicia. The train would be stopping at the center of it's route and he was counting down the seconds in his head of the time he estimated them to arrive there even though Katherina would tell him when she was about to do it.

When Alicia asked for a volunteer only then did Vayne get what she was trying to do, his guess confirmed when she got to the seats of the men they were targeting and asked if one of them would do her the pleasure. Vayne decided to use this opportunity to his advantage focusing all his attention on the rest of the passengers at this time to see who would react to Alicia getting this close to the men.

It was small, the simplest of gestures but he was sure that he had discovered two of the three. The pair that sat together in the first row on the right. One of them was about to move just as Alicia moved in on the men but was held back by the other. It could have been a coincidence but Vayne wouldn't take the chance, they were on his radar now.

Alicia was direct with them, a little to direct, so much that it caused what could have been the next Mage to reveal herself, a woman who sat in the second row on the left would stand turn around to Alicia and and speak. "How about I be your volunteer instead." She would say the sternest of expressions on her face. She she was dressed in casual attire a short black skirt and purple tanktop with a white jacket over it. She looked to be in her early twenties around the same age as Alicia, her eyes and hair were purple and she had purple leggings on her legs, reaching up right below her skirt.

The first chart was even more vacant than the one Vayne and Alicia were in which made it easy for Katherina to make her move when the time came. She would move to her feet upon seeing a certain landmark she had marked from the initial trip here. When she moved from her seat and past the door into the conductor's carriage no one gave her second glance. Upon hearing the door open and close behind him the Conductor when spin around. "You can't be in . . . . " He would attempt to speak but never finished his sentence because the hilt of Katherina's blade would slam into the left side of his skull knocking him unconscious. Upon locating the throttle that controlled the train's movement she would think to Vayne. It's time, Get ready to move. Was her given warning before pulling the throttle all the way back.

"Alicia its happening!" Vayne would shout to Alicia as a warning to what was to come next as soon as Katherina told him. The sudden braking of the train wasn't enough to stop the train at once but it gave everyone a sudden jolt forward brought about by the sudden change in momentum. Vayne knew it was coming so he was able to brace himself but the woman who had offered herself as a volunteer, unable to even hear a reply from Alicia was, thrown backwards into the seats of the first row. The two men on the right were thrown from the first row into the second row and the three men they were targeting thrown into the third row from their seats in the fourth row. This would be Alicia's time to make her move because this is where Vayne made his, unaffected by the sudden change in momentum Vayne was on his feet sword drawn and moved up past Alicia where he could protect her from any attacks by the three people he was almost positive where the Mages, who for 3-4 seconds would be recovering from there involuntary seat changes, which was no doubt painful.

Vayne was counting down the time in his head in sync with Katherina who was doing the same, to the exact moment she would make the train move forward again. The train still wasn't at full stop slowing down with a loud screech that came from below, steel grinding against steel, but not yet at full halt.
