Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

"How do I look?"
Zak had finally made it to the city of Trillium, the last known location of the Queen Dragon, Astrea. He had heard far more stories about the incident than he could count, be they good or bad. Some people claimed that they were victims of an act of terrorism brought down by the dragon race, even though they had been remaining in hiding for such a long time. Others said that it was the nest of Astrea, perhaps even a place where her children might have been, and the activity of the humans above in Trillium had upset her. Then some went as far saying that it wasn't the dragon at all, trying to explain that it was an attack of a dark guild trying to leave a distasteful impact on the city. Regardless of what people had said, what it all boiled down to was that it left the city in shambles after the incident. However, Zak had heard that the city had been rebuilt and cleaned up since the event, meaning that now he would have the opportunity to show up and discover more about what happened on that fateful day.

Unfortunately for the poor boy, nothing would be going as planned, "I can't believe it..." He had come here a long way from Magnolia, taking quite some time to make it, but he had made it nonetheless. He looked around at the city that he stood in, "This looks nothing like what people said it was... Where's the windmills and why is it so smelly?" He was talking to nobody in particular, simply muttering under his breath, but just shocked that the city resembled nothing short of the opposite of what he had expected. In the place of the windmills that he had been looking for, tall buildings stood in their path. For the peaceful houses that he had thought would be there, pawn shops and night clubs stood without a care. Even some of the local stores that he had planned on visiting were replaced by casinos and buildings of business, "What happened to this place... Is this the result of Astrea's sudden appearance?" There's no way that she caused such a massive change from what sounded like such a peaceful town, but perhaps it was some sort of effects initiated by it.

"Yeah, I guess ya could say that." Upon hearing the sudden intrusion of audible thought, Zak would see a man with black hair standing behind him. It looked like someone that was in his late teens, maybe even in his early twenties, but it was nice to find someone that would be capable of explaining what might have gone on here in Trillium, "Oh, do you happen to know anything about Astrea?" The mysterious individual chuckled at the mention of the dragon, "That monster? Sure, I do. I was there the day it all went down." He extended his hand out to meet Zak's, "The name's Korv by the way, I'll take ya right where it all happened." Rather pleased to see that this was going to be a lot easier than what he had in mind, Zak totally went for it, "I'm Zak and thank you." He would follow the dark figure down a few alleys until he came to one shadowy alley in particular, though it seemed no different in Zak's mind, he was far too excited to find out the key information about Astrea. However, he wouldn't have much thoughts running through his mind for long as some sort of heavy object came out of nowhere, colliding with his head and nearly rendering him unconscious. Unbeknownst to the mind mage, Korv had a partner that targeted unsuspecting prey, in which they would take people by surprise and steal their jewels before hightailing it.

Ask away; I have all the answers.

Loki stifled a coughing fit as he came close to the source of the awful awful smell. He was finally out of Acacia which was a terrible place in his mind after being captured by a human trafficker but it didn't seem all that bad now that he was in Trillium; his olfactories were going haywire with the pungent smell that rose from the city. Of course if he was a human he probably wouldn't mind the smell after a few minutes of getting used to but he wasn't completely human and what smelled half-bad to humans smelled twice as bad to him. It was like someone digested a helping of beans, milk, and cheese and farted right in his face. The scenery wasn't helping it's image either as all around him was rundown buildings, garbage bins filled to the brim, people in tattered clothed, and streets cluttered with litter. Acacia was definitely better by a thousand times.

Apparently the place used to be a nice place of windmills and meadows before it was rebuilt into a place of industry following the fall after a dragon decided to wreak havoc on the area. Loki wouldn't have believed the extreme changes that befell on the place that was a nice, peaceful grassland if it weren't for the stranger things have happened in Fiore as he had come to see.

Upon reaching an open area and making it out of a village alive, he lowered his sleeve that he had kept over his nose throughout the walk. It was better than the previous districts but still bad compared to other cities, especially the ones back in his country. Off in the distant, Loki could see three figures, two of which were walking together and a lone one that seemed to be tailing them from behind suspiciously. One of his ears flickered as a feeling of trouble filled his gut; he continued to watch from the distance as the figures made their moves.

The one that was hiding ran from tree to tree to bench, concealing his movement as he progressively got close to the duo. As the black-haired person kept the smaller one's attention, the figure shot out of it's hiding place and dove at them. With a smirk, the black-haired swung his legs at the Zak, tripping him in the process as the other guy dog piled him down. By this time, Loki was already running towards them but the two criminals must've accomplished their goal as they began to run from the spot; when he reached the location of the event, the two were already well gone. He looked down at child below him and helped him up, "Are you alright, sir?"

Unfortunately, the boy didn't have a clue that not only was he being led into a trap, but he was also being tailed by another individual from a distance. The man seemed very nice and respectable, showcasing himself as if he was a local of the town and willing to show Zak the history of the town that he had experienced himself. However, this town was one that was quick to corrupt after the events of the Queen Dragon, changing not only the heart of the town, but also changing the hearts of the civilians within. To be truthful, the blame was something to be shared between the hoodlums and the naive kid. He was a gullible child, one could definitely say that, yet he was an innocent child that put too much faith into people that seemed to want to help him. Maybe it wasn't the best thing in the world and incidents like these could pop up every once in a while, though it was a feature of his personality nonetheless and it was such a stubborn one that it would take many more to change it.

Zak was lying down on the cold surface of the alley, head throbbing as he could hear what was going on around him. It had certainly been a hefty blow and seemed to take out all of the strength from him, even if it was only temporarily. His head on its left side, he could only see the pants and shoes of someone kneeling down to his right, the person that had attacked him by surprise. Kuvo stood ahead out of Zak's sight as the second person began searching through the boy's pants pockets in a high speed rush, likely for anything of value that he had on him. Since he had landed on his chest, the thief searched through his back pockets first, only finding his composition book and a pen. It didn't seem spectacular, but he held onto it since there was a slight chance it might be worth something if it was a valuable book. Plundering through, he tossed the kiddie slingshot, a bag of something that felt like marbles, and a flimsy knife to the side. "Bunch of useless crap..." He continued to dig through the remaining pockets and would eventually find the small pouch that Zak used to store his jewels, precisely what he had been looking for, "Sweeeet, looks like enough ta hold us over for the week."

Though, Zak seemed to have a changing in the tide of his luck, for someone that had enough heart to help out a lost soul had appeared at the end of the alley. The shadow had a shadow, one not to be taken lightly either. The moment they had noticed that there was a tail on them though, and especially one that was quickly following suit, they knew they had to make it out as quickly as possible, "Damn it, Tate... I told ya to hurry ya ass up!" The two bickered at one another as they sprinted full speed away, leaving the victim and the pursuer while taking their small fortune of loot with them and, though Zak didn't know it yet, his book. The newcomer that had chased them off hovered over Zak, making sure that he was okay and offering some help up, "Ye- Yes... I think so.." The stranger had to give Zak a boost up, but once he was on his feet and his senses gradually came back, he seemed pretty capable and was only left with a concussion that left him a bad headache. His aid appeared to be a rather formally dressed individual and looked far more respectable than the stranger that had previously introduced himself, but he did seem to have some rather peculiar ears, reminding Zak of someone that he had once met, "Thank you, sir. I don't know what they would have done and what else they would have taken if you hadn't shown up..."

"They were gone long before I got here," Loki looked down at the boy and picked out a dead twig that was sticking out of his hair. He found interest in the branch as there was a lushous green leaf hanging on which was odd to see in a land where every life form was dead, especially where they were as the only trees were dead trees. The dirty wind blew over and whisked it away from his grasp; perhaps there was one spot in Trillium that was alive. But one question remained, where did it come from? Perhaps it was from the boy? Or perhaps from the thieves.

Anyway Loki turned his attention back to the boy who seemed fine as he had said. "That's good to hear." He smiled, satisfied but frowned once he rembered that he was also robbed in addition to getting ganged up. "What did they take from you? I saw one of them hold up a bag, was that your money? I'll help you get them back if you wish... Sir..." He paused for a second to search for the boys name in his memory but instead remembered that they hadn't introduced themselves. "Hmm that's right excuse me for not introducing myself in the beginning, my name is Loki but you may just call me Loki if that's more suitable. My I ask for yours? " He bowed at the slightest degree in greeting and offered the boy his assistance. "Shall we go?"

The robbers had ran into the urban area of Trillium where it was just slightly more richer with tall buildings and cleaner streets but the air quality wasn't any better. It was actually so muggy that it was impossible for him to see any more than 10 meters in front of him. As for the smell, it didn't stink but there was a distinct ordor that hung around. "Do you have an idea where they might have gone to? It seemed like you were talking to one of them before getting tripped." they needed leads to start their such and Loki had nothing except for their hair color.
