Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Stay the course.

Artorius was glad that Kagura would at least spill the beans on his boss. It wasn't exactly the most noble thing to do, especially since Kagura's end of the deal if he won was that he would hear a story about breasts and nothing more. Still, Artorius figured that Kagura was actually honorable to go through with that. So far, he had nothing that would make him doubt this man besides the fact that he was his enemy, and even it seemed that they were only enemies based on circumstance alone. Still, they were enemies and it was now time to settle this fight once and for all.

Kagura charged forward, unleashing a flurry of blows, but Artorius managed to dodge them even in his condition. It appeared that Artorius' attacks weren't entirely superficial, managing to slow his enemy down quite a bit. Meanwhile, deciding to save what little amount of magical energy the man had left that he hadn't already consumed like a candle burning on both ends, Artorius had drawn his blade and decided to end the duel as men.

Kagura slashed and bashed his blade, but he missed both times. Meanwhile, as Artorius dodged and weaved out of the way, he unleashed a side kick and a sweeping circular swipe of his sword. However, they had both missed their mark. It seemed that by now they had already exhausted themselves quite a bit. It was at the point where they would have to end things in a single decisive blow, and both men realized that.

Both men panting, they looked at one another and prepared to end the fight. Kagura was the first to raise his blade, empowering it with a huge surge of magical energy, surrounding it with darkness composed of the colors black and purple. Meanwhile, Artorius did a similar stance, holding his own blade upwards. Once the two collected a huge amount of energy, they now wielded a two massive blades -- one of purple and darkness and the other of silver and smoke. Then, in an instant, the two brought them down on one another.

"Kokuryū Tenshōraijin!" Kagura shouted fiercely.

"Kumoryū no Hōtenjin!" Artorius roared ferociously. For a moment, Kagura could swear that he saw the visage of a dragon behind the man, one of silver and grays surrounded by a vortex of smoke. Then once their attacks met one another, a huge burst of magical light shone through, which was easily visible at least a block or two away.

It took a long moment before the smoke and darkness cleared. The victor was revealed just a moment later. Kneeling beside his sword which was embedded in the ground, Artorius coughed and wheezed, but he wasn't the one defeated. Instead, the one who had lost the fight was Kagura, buried under rubble of the building still in construction with his sword laying at his side. Coughing, Kagura was prepared to keep his end of the bargain up. After all, he did proclaim that he was a man of his word. "V-Vermillion... Get to the Vermillion Estate. There, you'll find him... and all the answers you're looking for." Then, just as Kagura finished, more rubble fell upon his body, burying him completely.

If he had a hat at that moment Artorius definitely would have tipped it off to Kagura. But, a short nod of the head would do. Using his sword to help him stand up, Artorius sheathed it back into its scabbard and hobbled towards the stairs down this place. It was a long way back to the hideout, and as he walked he couldn't help but wonder if Artesia made it out alright. The attack that was launched which Kagura recognized was a powerful blow. Was it even possible to survive a direct hit from that? Various worrisome thoughts about her, and even himself and his ability to make it back to the hideout, and even several doubts on if he could actually fight against the so-called Gray King and the rest of his cronies. If each of them were stronger or at least as capable as Kagura then what chance did they have?

These thoughts exacerbated a bit as Artorius stumbled down across a street, where he noticed a huge scorch mark and the scent of fresh blood nearby. His face contorted worriedly, but he could only trudge on to the alley where his hideout's exit was. After pressing in the bricks and navigating down the corridor, Artorius made his way through the hidden entrance where he quickly disrobed and lazily slapped some bandages onto his wounds, all before the man fell hard onto his soft mattress with the last thing his eyes saw before closing and passing out was the ceiling above him.

Steel your mind. Run on instinct.
There it was, the hidden entrance to the hideout that she'd been looking for.

As she stood in front of the wall which she knew also served as the hidden entrance the woman couldn't help but groan, just how did this thing work exactly? Was it a touch based system? Nope, touching the bricks didn't seem to do anything. Was she pressing them in the wrong order or was it legitimately not what would open the door? Ugh, there were far too many questions to ask herself and while she normally would have enjoyed the challenge and task ahead of her Artesia was in far from the state or the mood to feel that way at the given moment in time. She'd had a massive two days and with nothing but a handful of hours actually spent sleeping she was ready to pass the fuck out, luckily though as she leant forwards to rest her forehead against the wall with a sigh she was finally given a little show of luck. She had no idea what the fuck she had done but hey, that was for another day, a day when she could actually give a damn and a fuck to spare.

As she stumbled into the hideout Artesia's eyes immediately and hurriedly scanned the contents for signs of the man she'd been separated from, she wouldn't admit but she'd been rather frantic since the fight, she just wanted to make sure he was alright, there was nothing wrong with that! As they scanned the kitchen there was no signs of him, moving on to the table and chairs she once again failed to see anything, it wasn't until she glanced to the bed that she felt a giant weight lift from her shoulders. He was there, that meant he had to be alright... right? Artorius lay still and silent on the bed as he lay on his back, so much so that Artesia found herself discontent to assume he was actually even alive.

Approaching the man without a word but rather clumsily Artesia climbed onto the bed and made her way to Artorius's side. As she reached him the woman reached her ear over to the man's face and hovered it just above his mouth, hearing the reassuring sound of his breath and even feeling it against her ear she gave a gentle and almost unnoticeable sigh. Good, he was alive. Now she could go to sleep, she just had to roll over and.....

Unable to force her eyes to stay open now that the worry for her companion and friend was gone Artesia quickly lost the battle with the sands of sleep and before she could move away from him her head lowered gently down to rest upon his chest. The reassuring motion of his breathing as his chest rose and fell only served to send her even further into a peaceful sleep and while it would no doubt be awkward when one or both of them awoke neither cared for now.
