Right now, Artorius was focused on assessing this guy's abilities. He was powerful no doubt, and he was somehow able to close the gap between himself and Artesia in an instant using some sort of trick. But right now, Kagura seemed to be unable to display that ability, or perhaps he wasn't quite willing just yet. Was his sheer drive to grab hold of Artesia's voluptous mounds that motivating to the chivalrous pervert that he actually moved faster than he ordinarily would whilst fighting against a member of the same sex? Something like that is bound to be physically and psychologically impossible? Then again, as far as Artorius could tell the whole of the Oculus Obscura was filled to the brim with all sorts of freaks, but it wasn't like he could say that fairly considering that he himself was no ordinary fellow. At any rate, as Kagura brought his sword downwards and created a blast of darkness which stretched out, threatening to grab hold of and shred Artorius to itty bits, Artorius reacted with a fitting attack since he was now put in a position where he couldn't dodge it. Cornered between two walls the man had to force his way out of this position. Sheathing his sword, Artorius collected magical energy into his dominant right hand. "Kumoryū no Zaneiga (Smoke Dragon's Tracing Fang)!" Artorius cried as prepared to unleash his attack. Following this, he hurled a wave of smoke which traveled along the ground towards Kagura. As the trail which traved the ground moved, solid blades and spikes popped out of it. The two attacks met one another, creating a burst of shadow and smoke. As the smoke literally cleared, Kagura was already there to greet him. Swinging his sword downward, Artorius leapt to the side where he quickly found himself beside Artesia with their backs against a large window. "Hah, gotcha!" Kagura spoke with a grin before he twirled his blade in the air above him. Releasing a horizontal slash empowered by his magical power, Kagura broke the window directly behind the two thieves. Adding to the problematic situation, Rachel closed her umbrella and unleashed a huge gust of wind at the two, knocking them backwards. The two weren't finished just yet, still not satisfied with letting them drop to their deaths. Kagura leapt out of the window, plunging his sword into the side of the building which was curved at the sides, using a combination of his massive weapon with his darkness based magic to effectively surf down the side of the building. Rachel, on the other hand, held onto her umbrella as she opened it and leaped out. The umbrella opened up and the handled curved a bit, acting as a seat for her to sit on, all the while she hurled blasts of lightning and wind at Artesia to knock her off course. "You'll pay for hurting Gii!" Rachel cried out angrily, still taken aback by her familiar being hurt. |

As the glass of the panels behind them shattered Artesia and Artorius both had a sinking feeling of what was to come and unfortunately that feeling proved to be correct. Rachel fired a powerful blast of wind which neither of the thieves could avoid and as it slammed into them they were sent hurtling backwards through the air and straight out the now gaping hole in the buildings wall. The falling itself wasn't so bad given that both Artesia and Artorius had tricks up their sleeves to avoid slamming down into the building that curved down under them and the ground that was also a good threat, when you added in the fact that their enemies followed them out the window though things became less alright. Kagura proved he had style to spare as he leapt out the window to surf along the building using his massive blade as a makeshift surfboard and Rachel showed why having an oversized parasol could save a life in more ways than one. As both followed the thieves Rachel's fury towards Artesia was made more than apparent, firing blast after blast at the woman as she fell she screamed out seeking vengeance for her beloved familiar. As this was all happening Artesia had to wonder to herself if she would have actually hit the thing like she had if she knew about the repercussions, as it turned out she probably would have. Several of the blasts that Rachel sent towards Artesia missed by the skin of the woman's teeth for she failed to adjust their trajectory to match her targets falling velocity and angle but once she caught on there was little Artesia could do to stop a particularly large sphere of wind and leaves which it had picked up from the surrounds outside from slamming into her. The blow itself wasn't really a damaging one given that she had ample room in the air to fly without hitting anything but it was enough to take her breath away and cause a grunt to escape her lips as it did so. Furthermore the attack served another purpose which may or may not have actually been intended; it served to separate the pair of thieves from one another. Artesia was knocked quite the distance away from Artorius by the blast and it was obvious that their landing places would be vastly different in location, it seemed for all intensive purposes that for the fights they had on their hands they were on their own. Rachel broke off from the men as she gave chase to the woman she was having fun treating like a feather in the wind and as she did so Kagura decided to step up his game. "Welp, can't have a pipsqueak like here showing me up or taking my melons. So, I'm gonna have to end this fast. " The man's surfboard like weapon sped up as he powered more darkness magic into it and as it did he let out a loud cry, "Yahooo!" |

Artorius was by no means enthusiastic or excited about the prospect of falling to an untimely death and leaving behind only a pile of splattered flesh and shattered bones. There was just something he didn't like about that idea. Perhaps it was the concept that he would die, for one, and also that he wouldn't leave a very beautiful corpse. Though, really it was just the first part that he was worried about right now. Of course, he did have a trick up his sleeve to avoid getting brutally killed here, and it appeared that Kagura somehow knew that which is why he went to great lengths to ensure Artorius' defeat. Artorius was a bit worried about his companion but he knew that somehow she would make it through all of this, but he was a bit concerned over the fact that she had an opponent. Still, he had no time nor luxury to worry about her when he had to deal with his own problems, and right now he had a damned big problem speeding towards him riding his weapon like a goddamn surfboarding freak of nature. The man had to act fast before he hit terminal velocity. After that, Artorius was pretty much fucked by that point. Acting quickly, Artorius stabilized himself so that he would be falling upright instead of upside down or however. While falling and hoping to dear god that he landed, Artorius surrounded his fist in a burst of magical energy. Throwing it out straight ahead of him, a solid line struck hard into the building besides the Irelian Tower, slamming three prongs into it at an angle. Jumping onto the harpoon, Artorius slid and ran down the harpoon. As he neared the end of it, Artorius rolled and tumbled harshly before scrambling back up to his feet. Based on his surroundings, Artorius figured that he had landed in a construction site of sorts. Rebar and metal beams were visible everywhere, as well as exposed concrete, unpainted dry wall, and a massive construction crane. As the man stood, he felt a sharp pain wrack throughout his body. He fell a bit hard, and he could certainly feel a pain in his chest and side. The side was obvious as his ribs were still unhealed. But, as he took off his jacket, he noticed a streak of red through his white dress shirt. 'Shit, this isn't good,' Artorius thought to himself as he took his sword's sheathe and secured it onto his waist line now that his coat was discarded. Meanwhile, Kagura landed effortlessly by absorbing his impact with his sword and dark-based magic. He grinned up until he saw Artorius' wound. "Wait, don't tell me you came here injured? Ah, well that just ruins my mood," he frowned, showing a bit of honor and dignity as a warrior. Well, at least until that side of him was completely obscured by his perverse ways. "Well, whatever. I guess I have no choice but to fight you. Though, hopefully I can get back to that damned loli before she kills that woman. Oh man, those melons are just out of this world..." "Been there, done that," Artorius laughed as he popped a cigarette in his mouth and lit it with a flick of his lighter. "Really?" he asked with an almost childish look of glee and curiosity in his eyes. "Really," he replied plainly and stoicly before taking a drag off his cigarette. "Oh man, look I know we're enemies and all but you've gotta tell me all about them. Were they soft? Or were they more firm? Sometimes I like 'em perky but it's not like I hate them when they're big fluffy pillows, you know?" Kagura ranted as he made rather obtuse and perverse groping motions in the air. "Tell you what..." Artorius spoke as he breathed out a puff of smoke. "If you beat me I'll promise to tell you exactly what they were like." "DEAL!" Kagura roared while charging forth, slinging his sword over his back, ready to swing it and get the full details of his booby story. |

In between being pushed and thrown around by Rachel's wind attacks Artesia could catch glimpses of her surroundings which allowed her to keep a fairly accurate guess as to where she was in relation to the ground as well as everything else, unfortunately though her opponent wasn't giving her time to do much else. She was quickly growing tired of the constant barrage of attacks and as the final straw struck her in the form of a blast of wind Artesia decided to vent a little. "Grow up!" Yep, she went there and could you blame her? Her opponent was acting like a freaking spoilt rich brat and it was pissing her off, if you were going to fight then fair enough but when you kept shouting things out about how someone hurt your precious stuffed animal then it was going too far. Don't send them into battle if they mean so much to you, god damn. Unfortunately what Artesia had shouted at Rachel didn't do as intended, that is to say it didn't get her to shut up and lay off the damned attacks. Instead she grew even more irritated and summoning a stronger blast she knocked the thief hurtling down towards the ground at an alarming pace. "NO YOU!" Her retort was so childlike that Artesia would have commented on it if she hadn't been busy trying to figure out where she was and how long she had before slamming into something. When the sight of another building rushed by behind her Artesia realised her chance to slow her fall had come and spinning herself around in the air she turned to face with while simultaneously digging one of her blades into its wall. The stop had been sudden and for a moment the thief found herself slightly caught off guard by it all, the world felt as though she'd been running on a treadmill at full speed when it was suddenly unplugged and it wasn't the coolest sensation in the world. When she managed to regain her composure, or at least enough for the time being Artesia was forced to push herself and her blade free of the wall to yet again freefall, well it was that or get struck by a particularly nasty bolt of lightning anyway. Thankfully though the fall to the ground below wasn't more than a few stories and in between it and herself there was a large and what appeared to be sturdy looking awning which would allow her to buffer her landing even more. As she did just that Artesia made sure to do an impressive looking front and turning flip from the bounce and landing on the ground she watched as Rachel descended down towards her on her parasol handle. "Hmph, So you didn't get squashed, it's not like it matters." The young looking figure scoffed in a very tsundere fashion, "Without your friend here you won't last long." Boy, was this chick cocky or what? "Oh?" Artesia asked with faked interest and curiosity. "Mhm, but you know what. I'll be nice and give you a choice. If you apologise to me and to Gii then I'll make your death quick." Rachel replied with a sadistic and smug grin on her features. "And if I refuse?" There was no real way that she would do something like that but Artesia couldn't help but be interested in what the girl had to say. "Then you fight and you die a painful death. So, what will it be?" Rachel said with what appeared to be confidence oozing from her every pore. Courageous and stubborn Artesia replied by throwing a throwing knife straight at her which she dodged by a hair, "NANI?!" She cried out with an expression of fright, confusion and surprise to which Artesia smirked. "I've made my choice." |

Artorius had almost regretted that he said those words as they served little outside of motivating Kagura to fight his hardest. But, it was a bit too late to take those words back so the thief just had to deal with the situation regardless of the outcome. Kagura was a bit quicker on his feet, and it was a problem exacerbated only by the fact that Artorius wasn't necessarily fighting at his best. Still, at least if Artorius lost he would be fighting at an opponent at full strength. No, wait, he definitely couldn't lose, not to some half-assed henchmen. Though he had to admit that Kagura had some skill. Frankly, at least based on what he knew of Oculus Obscura so far, Kagura didn't really fit in well with them. He was sort of like a black sheep, and that wasn't even a quip on his color preference. It's not like Artorius could can on him for that, especially since they shared the same color at most times. Before Artorius had any time to even think about nonsense like that Kagura had unleashed a powerful horizontal swing with his large slab of steel that he called a sword. Though, the way he wielded it was more like a cleaver or a sharpened baseball bat than anything. Nevertheless, Artorius had managed to jump right over it, but it was immediately after that Kagura spun on his heel, whirling his blade overhead to attack vertically. Kagura was keeping Artorius on the defensive, understandably so, as a single direct hit from Kagura's behemoth of a blade would surely inflict a huge amount of damage especially to someone who was't even at top form. "Come on, come on, it's like you're not even trying!" Kagura mocked the thief as he leaned against his sword. "You just keep running and running, it's no fun, man!" As a swing came down ready to cleave Artorius in two, the man quickly leaped backwards. As he jumped, the man released an outward blast of smoke which cancelled Kagura's attack by blowing him and his sword backwards. The smoke knocked him down to the ground, or it would have if the swordsman had not dug his enormous sword into the ground to brace himself from the blow. "Not bad, not bad at all!" Kagura commended him. Though, the moment Kagura had finished speaking Artorius had retaliated with an attack of his own. Darting around cover in Kagura's blind spot, Artorius inhaled a huge gust of air, all before the man forcibly expelled in with a blast of smoke energy. "Kemuryū no Hōkō (Smoke Dragon's Roar)!" he roared. Though, instead of the man releasing it in the form of a silver beam it was sent flying towards him as a single ball of smoke energy which struck Kagura hard in the back. As the ball of smoke struck it quickly dispersed, releasing a cloud of smoke which surrounded the area. Now, Kagura was on the defensive as he could no longer see his opponent. This was Artorius' domain, the dragon's cave where he made his home -- a cloud of smoke. Using his cover and ability to function in the surroundings, Artorius hurled a pair of throwing knives at Kagura. The first one narrowly missed its mark, scratching the swordsman on his arm, but the second hit home, piercing Kagura right in the shoulders. "Very clever... I'm beginning to understand why the old man is so cranky about you," Kagura spoke, but the way he sounded seemed like he was utterly undeterred by Artorius' strategy, as if he had a way to counteract it somehow. |

"I'll make you eat those words!!!" Rachel shouted while throwing out yet another lightning based projectile attack. Artesia didn't really mind that her opponent was as angry as she was, yes it would make her attack with more punch but at the same time there was a trade off to be had when your emotions got in the way of things such a battle. Rachel wouldn't be thinking as clearly as she normally would and so all Artesia had to do was take advantage of that, well that was the plan at least. Artesia rolled to the side to avoid the bolt of lightning that shot by her and it was a good thing that she had for as it struck the building behind her it showed that it had held quite the 'shocking' amount of power when compared to its predecessors. "OooOooh scary." Artesia mocked. Rachel was already using more power than necessary in attacks she was taking chance with, if she couch coax her to do that even more and to become even more reckless then it could work in her favour. "Graaaaah! JUST DIE YOU WENCH!" Showing that she had some tricks up her sleeve Rachel closed the parasol she'd been holding onto in hand and as she did so Artesia prepared herself, one didn't simply do that if there was no reason to and she didn't get the feeling it was just for ease of movement. So true the guess had been, Rachel lashed out with the pointed tip of the parasol as if meaning to pierce right through her target but given the distance she was at it wasn't likely to land, unless of course she had a little thing or two left to show. The parasol's length extended dramatically at a pace that shocked even Artesia who had been expecting something to be coming her way and even with all her speed and effort put into avoiding being struck the thief could only manage to just dodge it. Her attack had missed but Rachel wasn't done just yet, with every missed strike her childlike frustration only grew and as she reached the point of an utter meltdown Artesia knew the time had come. She had to get within range of the woman for her weapons to reach, there was no other way around it. Artesia used the platform technique that she'd only used once before to give herself something with which to perform a double jump and as she did she threw out several throwing knives, each aimed at specific parts of the woman's body which would make it hard for her to dodge in succession. These attacks weren't really to injure her as much as they were to distract her and keep her occupied so that Artesia could perform another frontwards turning flip and land behind her. Rachel managed to block several of the throwing knives with her parasol as a weapon of sorts but one snuck by her reach and as it cut the skin on her cheek she stood bewildered, how had this infuriating woman managed to hit her? This. Was. Completely. Unacceptable. |

The way Kagura had confidently complimented Artorius' abilities gave Artorius a bit of concern. Though, Artorius was actually the first one to land a decisive blow, which meant he shouldn't exactly be too concerned, at least not to the point where he should be overly cautious. That aside though, Artorius knew that Kagura was considerably powerful, perhaps even greater in power than Artorius was himself. So, being cautious was a fine strategy, especially since he didn't actually know what Kagura was fully capable of. Yet, no amount of caution could fully protect Artorius from Kagura's next move. After yanking out the throwing knife that Artorius had managed to lodge into his arm, Kagura tossed it to the ground with an audible clang. Shortly after this, the man with the huge sword held his immense weapon above him. Steadily, he began to whirl it, gradually picking up pace. Soon, his blade was being spun at a feverish speed, blowing away the smoke by using his sword as a whirling fan. From this display Artorius now at least knew that trying to use his smoke to mask his movements too much over a prolonged period of time was a waste of time and energy. While Artorius was annoyed by that fact he at least learned of another aspect of Kagura's abilities. "Now, it's my turn!" Kagura spoke while still spinning his sword in the air. A moment later, it quickly burst with darkness and Kagura's magical energies. Immediately after, Kagura had plunged his sword hard into the ground. Out from the point of impact darkness engulfed the surrounding area. There was no light now, save for the light of his cigarette which he immediately stomped out, and Artorius was literally blinded. The tables had been effectively turned, and in a moment, just as the light returned, Kagura was upon him, bringing his immense sword down upon Artorius' backside in an attack that would surely cut him down to size. Months ago, Artorius would have been cut down by this attack. But, as Kagura appeared, Artorius just managed to barely avoid the attack by diving off to the side and out of the way. Annoyed, Kagura embedded his sword into the ground and propped his arm on it while leaning against the flat side. "How? Just how did you avoid that?" Kagura spoke curiously while casually standing against his blade. "You want an honest answer?" Artorius spoke as he caught his breath while leaning against the wall. Nodding like a curious little kid, Kagura waited for Artorius' answer. "Alright then. Your smell. You wear way too much cologne. You fashion yourself as a playboy after chicks and you act like you have a price tag on your junk, but you're a bit standoffish sometimes, and the cologne man... You need to lighten up on that. Some women like it, but between you and me, women prefer the scent of cologne when it's faint enough that they have to be a bit close to smell it, as if they want to get closer to you to get a good whiff. Does that make any sense? But yeah, that's why I can smell you, cause you practically bathe in it man." "I see... I see," Kagura spoke as he slid down to sit against his sword. "Well then, I'll take your advice. You seem like the experienced sort so you can't be all that wrong. At the very least, you managed to score that red-head. Seems I had the wrong impression of you. So, what's your name?" "Artorius," he spoke without hesitation, even though he would ordinarily have reservations about giving his name up to an enemy. Yet, he just felt that this guy wasn't all that bad. It was merely the situation that made then enemies. "You seem alright yourself. I don't see why you're with these guys anyway, you don't exactly fit in." "I'm Kagura," he replied with a grin as he stood up. "You might be right with that. But, I owe the old man a debt, and I'm a man of my word. And I hope you are too, cause I'm eager to find out what red-head's rack was like!" Kagura added as he quickly charged in to continue the fight. Why did Artorius feel like this fight was back to square one? |

Artesia had been aiming to land behind Rachel and deal a blow while she was preoccupied with dodging or blocking her throwing knives but as her feet touched the ground she felt herself being immediately shoved away by a blast of wind that was easily more powerful than the one that knocked the thieves out of the window. The blast was so strong that Artesia found herself flying back at least ten or so metres and as she realised her plan had been foiled her face contorted into one of frustration. The air around Rachel crackled with electricity and as she turned around to face Artesia it was obvious shit was about to hit the fan, "You. Cut. My. Face." The amount of anger that emanated from the woman's small figure was surprising even for the thief who knew all too well how it felt to have your face marked but she had no idea of what was to come. Rachel lifted the parasol that was in her grasp and as she held it in the air above her like a lightning rod Artesia could only guess what was coming next, "GO TO HELL!" Her voice cut through the air and in response the skies themselves tore open to deliver a lightning bolt so large and so bright that the entire sector would be able to see it, a vicious roar of thunder echoed through the skies at the same moment and for the woman that found herself being struck by the attack it truly was as if a semi truck was involved, one that no one had caught the license plate for. Rachel's figure stood with a grin from ear to ear as she looked to the figure of her enemy laying on the ground in the middle of the street, she hadn't seen the lightning bolt actually hit for the bright light it induced but she knew it had to have, the woman was obviously and visibly wounded as the heat practically steamed from her body and the crater in the earth itself beneath her was as good of an indication as any. "Ha haha hahahaha." Rachel's laughter brought with it an increasingly heavy flow of rain to most of the sector and as it fell down to her defeated opponent she couldn't help but approach her with a literal skip in her step and her parasol open above her. Gloating after a victory was always so much fun and considering the annoying individual she'd just taken to town it would be even more so. "It was almost cute how you thought you could win." With victory now certain and revenge for her beloved Gii gained Rachel's anger subsided for the smug satisfaction she now exuded. Artesia lay still and motionless facing face down though on the ground and with what could almost be remarked as a frown Rachel shrugged her shoulders. "Aww, don't tell me you can't even cry, that's just boring." She stopped right several metres from the seemingly lifeless figure but as she prepared to turn around and leave things showed as not going exactly according to plan. "Tch." The voice of the red haired woman she'd assumed had been defeated startled Rachel and as she snapped her attention and gaze back to where she lay her eyes widened. What? She was crouching now? How the hell was she getting up?! In the blink of an eye and with all the power and energy she had left Artesia launched herself forwards and as she passed by Rachel nine shuriken shaped blades roughly the size of Frisbees shot out from around her in all directions slicing her on their way outwards, "Th-that's cheating... Rachel muttered frozen on the spot and unable to even turn to face her opponent. "Never play fair." Were the words which beckoned Artesia's blades to travel back to her and as they did they swirled around in a vicious tornado like pattern slicing and dicing through what they touched of Rachel and her less than sturdy attire. The scene played out like one from an old samurai movie for the moment the blades returned to Artesia Rachel's body fell to the ground with an audible thud. It was over, she'd won, somehow. Now that the fight was basically reset after their short exchange of wise words and similar battle strategy, Artorius couldn't help but feel that Kagura was an alright guy. I mean, he's a damned pervert but at least there's a chivalrous side to the guy. Nevertheless, right now they were enemies and it was probably best to act as such, especially when one of the two was charging at the other with sword held in hand. Artorius retained his usual strategy, but now he chose to mix it up with some other techniques now that he was able to do so. As Kagura swung his sword, Artorius jumped up, landing on the flat portion of the blade. But, Kagura was quick to react, swinging it upwards in order to send him flying upwards to the ceiling above. Fortunately for him, Artorius managed to get off the ride just before it crashed, leaping off before rolling back up. Though, as he regained his composure he felt a painful ache and sore at his side, indicative of the man's still wounded ribs. Though, he did his best not to show the injury as he didn't want Kagura to take advantage of it, though he did peg Kagura as the sort not to take advantage of an injury. Like mentioned before, even a pervert can have a bit of chivalry and honor to his name. Nevertheless, now that Artorius had a bit of distance between the two he intended on keeping it that way. Maintaining the amount of breathing room he created, Artorius managed to keep his distance by constantly attacking as Kagura charged forward. The man hurled a throwing knife, though this was merely a distraction, at Kagura. In response, Kagura had dodged the attack to the side, but in the shadow of the first one was a second throwing knife. This time, Kagura raised his sword to block it but by doing so, since the knife was aimed at his face and Kagura would have to cover his face to defend, he left himself open the moment he brought his sword back down. Just as the Kagura did so, Artorius unleashed a second volley to attack his opponent with. After collecting energy into his hands, Artorius unleashed a wave of smoke which travelled along the ground, creating spines and blades and spikes which rose up. "Watch your step," Artorius spoke as he watched his attack travel through. Kagura managed to avoid the full force of his attack by leaping backwards, but he did get stabbed and cut a bit on his arms and legs, just enough to keep him honest. But, fitting that same notion of keeping one another honest, Kagura unleashed his own attack as he fell backwards. "Ryuuha Gokuenjin!" Just when Artorius was starting to get a bit confident, Kagura had kept him humble using by swinging his sword in mid air, creating two pillars which traveled forward. The first one missed its mark, but the second one slammed against Artorius and pushed him against a wall. As the man lurched over almost falling over, Artorius managed to catch himself before he landed face first. The pain of the impact hurt, but what hurt more was how he was pressed hard against the wall, his ribs feeling squeezed against it painfully. Coughing as he recovered, Artorius was thankful that Kagura had stopped momentarily as a brilliant burst of light and a crack of thunder resonated throughout the area. "So, Rachel went all out, huh? Man... Is it bad that I hope that chick's alive somehow? It would be a tragedy if she died before I got to feel her boobs. Well, at least I get to hear you tell me about them," Kagura spoke as he wiped blood off of his tattered clothes. "I'm sure she's fine. But, I'm the one who's gonna be walking out of this," Artorius spoke with a pained cough. "And you'll be the one spilling the beans on your group when I take you on. Deal?" "Very well. I'm a man of my word, Artorius!" Edited by Mazohyst, Jan 8 2014, 01:45 PM.

Honestly Artesia knew that she probably shouldn't have won the fight against Rachel that she just had but as she stood there victorious while the young figure lay there on the ground she couldn't help but smile. The woman had been far stronger than her when it came to the magic she possessed and could control but thanks to her wit and fast reflexes the thief had managed to come out victorious. How had she not been charred to death by that powerful electrical attack I hear you asking? That's a good question and it is one that I shall answer. As the lightning bolt came down Artesia had managed to dodge it by mere centimeters, this didn't save her from the blast itself but it did mean that she wasn't charred to death or electrocuted severely. The impact and concussion of the attack had been what knocked her to the ground and the heat that Rachel had seen steaming from her had been from nothing more than what had radiated from the lightning bolt at the time of impact. With this all said and done though it should be noted that the thief had still taken enough damage to wish she could just collapse then and there, sadly though it wasn't an option. "Uggggh." Artesia groaned as she staggered over towards Rachel's corpse. She hurt and she ached but she wasn't about to sit down and cry about it, she had better and more important things to be doing, like stealing. Wait what? Yes, you heard correctly, Artesia had stealing to be doing and primarily from the enemy she'd just defeated. She crouched down at her side and after shuffling through her outer coat a piece of paper crinkling caught her attention. Pulling it out and being careful to prevent it from getting to wet Artesia could make out that it held a name, co-ordinates, a date and a time. Was this a meeting that Rachel and Kagura were supposed to be going to? If that was the case then she'd found something which was rather useful, too bad she couldn't have thanked the little brat even if she'd wanted to. With the rain pelting down on her from above Artesia made her way through the unfamiliar streets around her with the aim of getting back to the hideout that Artorius and she had shared previously, she had no idea where else she'd meet the man and so all she could do was hope, hope that he was alright and that he'd rock up there as well. As she half staggered and half hobbled through the streets the thief sought directions from those she came across but several times she was met with screams and fleeing women, did she look like death warmed up or something? Oh, right.... the numerous weapons she had on her and the fact she looked like she'd just been in a fight probably didn't help her case much. Eventually though she found someone who was willing to give her directions to the right district and as familiar sights started to become more familiar she felt a sense of relief grow within her. There wasn't far now. Edited by Lightning, Jan 8 2014, 02:25 PM.
