Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. "You got it," Artorius declared as he turned to face the rapidly regenerating horde of shuffling bones and flesh. Now, Artorius could simply cut them down again but frankly that took much more effort, and honestly, was much less cool than how he was going about to stop them in their tracks. Using the other half of his eye technique, Kumuryū no Sekibaku no Enmu (Smoke Dragon's Desolation of Smog), Artorius glanced at the tightly grouped horde of ghouls. Once more, a magical glyph resembling a dragon's eye appeared beneath their collective feet. Just a moment later, the glyph erupted into a mass of black smoke, swarming and covering them, sending them to writhe and cough and spit and squirm. This allowed Artorius to keep them at bay from himself, but also to buy Artesia enough time to swipe at the crystal hanging high overhead upon the ceiling.

After Artesia managed to successfully and gracefully land back on her feet as if she were a cat or something, the crystal began to audibly crack, the sound of which echoed throughout the chamber. Soon, the half of the glowing stone fell to the ground, creating a loud rumble and shattering sound as it hit the ground. But, instead of the zombies lifelessly, at least as lifeless as zombies can actually get, falling to the ground as originally intended they instead began to congeal and coalesce into a monstrous form. The remnants of the magical stone focused itself at the center of the chamber, and with it so too did the bones and rotting flesh of the horde. Dirt and scraps of torn cloth, stained black with embalming fluids and the like, coalesced together to create something that could only be called an abomination. Countless skulls and bones served as its body, and it wielded a massive skeletal blade made of femurs and other shattered, sharpened splinters of bone. The monstrous golem of bones stood at an impressive height, easily three meters tall.

However, as he stared at it while it formed, Artorius managed to notice the dull, sickly yellow glow of the stone which took shelter behind a mass of skulls which served as its chest. If the previous reaction was any indication, striking it again might result in something beneficial this time. At least, that's what Artorius hoped. "I'll make an opening for you, Artesia. Aim for the crystal again. I have a good feeling about it this time," Artorius exclaimed as he prepared himself.

The man had only one technique he could use right now that could pull this off. But, he had to properly set himself and his enemy up for this one. Quickly, Artorius released another three-pronged smoke harpoon at his enemy, prying open the bulk of its wreathe of skulls it wore as its chest. Then, once it flinched from the damage, Artorius steadied his stance and took in a huge amount of air, filling his lungs up rapidly. The man didn't want to use this technique in front of Artesia, but what choice did he have now? At the very least, he wasn't consuming his element, a trait which would no doubt reveal what he was. Nevertheless, he went through with his attack, releasing a solid beam of shining silver smoke which tore through the skeletal golem's chest, ripping through it and revealing the crystal behind its protective bone layer. This was Artesia's chance.

Rising up to form a disgusting looking creature straight from the depths of hell the zombies/skeletons seemed eager for a round two against the thieves that had invaded their tomb, too bad for them that the thieves were equally as ready. Artorius charged what to Artesia looked to be just your everyday kind of smoke magic attack and ready for the chance they hoped it would give her she was in a state of cat like readiness, there was no telling how long she'd have to get the stone out from inside of that thing so she wasn't about to waste time thinking on what her companion actually did. There might have been people out there that would have started to wonder about Artorius and the nature of his magic after seeing him use the technique she'd just witnessed but Artesia wasn't one of them. She knew a lot about artefacts, ruins and legends but she wasn't really too knowledgeable on the subject of Dragon Slayers and various other kinds of strange and unusual magic. You could call it a weak spot in her memory database or you could call it an unneeded fact, either way nothing changed.

The attack broke through the creatures hard outer shell with ease and tearing through the rotten flesh and other various things that made its form up the blast revealed the glowing stone that they sought. Artesia was ready to move the moment that Artorius made the attack and at the first sign of the stone she did exactly that. Avoiding the arms that failed around as they stuck out of the creatures body the woman leapt up into the air directly in front of it and with arms outstretched for the stone she smirked. "Please and thank-you." Artesia's hands grasped a hold of the prize but as she did she felt a strange sense of resistance holding it in place, she was going to have to get a little bit more oomph behind her if she was going to tug it free. Using the stone and its resistance to pull her lower body up she placed her feet up on either side of the hole in its torso and with a powerful push from her legs she managed to break the stone free from whatever magical hold it had on the skeletons.

The sudden release of the stone threw Artesia backwards and in order to right herself in order to land on her feet she had to perform a back flip, successful in it though she landed upright and on both feet in an impressive display. The stone flickered violently in her grasp and the creatures created by what had been its magical influence gave a roar and groan before beginning to falter, "I do hate breaking shiny things, especially big shiny things. Buuut," Said Artesia as she placed the stone down on the ground at her feet, "I guess I'll make an exception for you." Bringing down her fist as if she would punch the stone Artesia used her hidden blade that was tucked away up into her wrist guard to strike it causing it to crack and shatter. She wasn't dumb enough to actually try to strike the thing with her fist, there was no way of knowing how strong it would have been, would have been very embarrassing to have failed at such an attempt or to hurt oneself after all.

As the stone shattered the pieces that remained disintegrated into dust and the creature that now had nothing to power it began to crumble to bones once more. The pair were successful and together they had overcome yet another obstacle in their way, "Well that was a thing." Artesia said matter of factly while peeling down the sleeves to Artorius's hoodie which she had rolled up to avoid getting them dirty in that fight.

"Unfortunately...," Artorius responded as his brown eyes turned towards his companion. "...Yes, yes that was a thing. An awful, repulsive, disgusting one, but a thing more or less," the man finished as he stepped over the pile of shattering and splintered skulls and bones, kicking one or two off to the side to make way for himself. He meant no disrespect for the dead, but frankly they were simply in his way. Artorius did value historical finds such as these, but typically, when the man had a prize like a rare artifact he was commissioned to snatch, or in this case -- a contact he needs to find and request information from, he usually set his sights on that more than anything.

Well though, that's not to say that Artorius' pockets were empty right now. Oh, you thought that was an ancient gold medallion in his pocket? Oh, you misunderstand. Artorius is just happy to see you. In fact, he's ecstatic.

Nevertheless, after the two had defeated the skeletal and undead golem a low rumble could be heard in the distance. Figuring that it was a door that had opened, the male thief headed towards that general direction. Sure enough, he could locate markings on the ground and walls at the entrance of a corridor which were tell-tale signs that there was a door here moments earlier. Moving forward, Artorius led the way down a generally non-descriptive corridor. It resembled the one prior to the room they were just in, but lacking the sealed off rooms which acted as small tombs. Though, as they walked onward, they would encounter a similar room, but the seals were decorated with encrusted gems and gold plating.

"Stay focused, Artesia," Artorius declared to the woman. He didn't know her too well, but from what he could gather about her priceless artifacts would probably catch her eye. And, if she was like most women, then this would be doubly so if those artifacts were of gold and crystalline gems or otherwise precious stones. "They likely won't budge either. Not even if centuries had passed since then."

Soon, after navigating that long corridor, they would be in a much more wide and open-ended room. The smell of ashes and dust was repugnant in the air, but it was without the scent of rotten eggs and other harmful toxic elements. Making his way down a flight of stairs, Artorius surveyed the area. Beneath the crumbling waterlogged ruins was a pedestal, with a sickly green light glowing upon it, with skulls sitting upon the circular platform. Across from it was a dusty plaque. Wiping it off, Artorius examined it closely. "Cleanse yourself of your sins and burdens, and flush it all away, so that you may find what lies beneath the surface," the man read the plaque aloud. "Puzzles. I hate puzzles."

The gems and other delightfully valuable things that were encrusted into the seals had indeed caught Artesia's gaze, "Yeah yeah." She knew full well that it wouldn't have worked to just try and pry the stones from their resting places given that it would have ended with her weapons losing their tips but she wasn't above admiring them, of course she didn't let her gazing around slow her down. Oh well, it wasn't like she was leaving the place empty handed or anything. Much like Artorius had managed to grab himself a nice little piece of treasure Artesia's pockets were also holding something a little extra, something they hadn't been holding when she'd entered the catacombs.

Unfortunately though she was being forced to pass by many things she would have normally shoved into a bag and taken with her, it kind of sucked that she hadn't brought anything with her to carry things, it wasn't like in her current attire she had much room in her pockets either. But hey, that shiny necklace she yoinked from a skeleton back there in that room should fetch a decent price, even more if she told of the danger she had to undergo to get it. It was a strange thing how tales and what not could add to the value of an item, even if they couldn't be proven they added something to it and that flavour was normally worth a few extra dimes. Of course it helped when the person that was retrieving them and telling the tales was reliable and trusted in the collectors community, which Artesia was.

The stench of ashes and dust made Artesia screw her face up, "And this is why air freshener was invented." As she forced herself to get used to the smell she ignored the fact that what she was inhaling was likely less than healthy, yey for mould and the like! But hey, it wasn't like she'd ever gotten sick from her times in ruins and the like before so why should she start worrying about it at the given time, that would have been pointless and silly. Sparing a moment to think of how poor Artorius must have been feeling given his super 'special' sense of smell Artesia decided to walk that little bit closer to him in hope that her 'overwhelming perfume' would help negate some of the stench for him. Sure, it was a futile thing to do but hey it was the thought that counted! Still at a reasonable distance though as she walked alongside him now instead of directly behind him Artesia glanced out to the pedestal further ahead.

It was surrounded by water and there was no real way to tell just how deep that water would be, "Shot not." Artesia said as they stood at the edge of the step which was directly before the water. If anyone should go in there first and see how deep it was it was the man right? You didn't picture Artesia being the kind of woman to spout that kind of stuff? Well, you're right. Artesia wasn't the kind of woman to believe in men doing things first for chivalrous reasons or all that crap but when it was convenient for her she wasn't above using it as an excuse to get her way. After Artorius showed that the water could be walked/waded through safely Artesia followed metres behind him being sure to step as close to where he had to avoid finding any holes or activating any traps.

The pair quickly made it to the pedestal where a dusty and mouldy plaque awaited them along with several bleached looking skulls. What the plaque read when they cleared it off enough to see made them both frown in the inside, puzzles, who didn't love a good puzzle? Yes, the sarcasm was evident there wasn't it. "Well, at least it doesn't look too complicated." Said Artesia while glancing around, "We have water here so I imagine the flushing it all away part to be pretty straight forward." As she continued on Artesia started to move the skulls atop the pedestal around and ran her fingers over the top of the surface of the pedestal seeking a switch or button of some kind. "Just gotta figure out what turns the drain on so to speak."

"I figured you would have said perfume," Artorius responded teasingly, poking fun at the fact that the woman wore it. It's not like she actually bathed in it, but it was enjoyable to have something to joke about. "Though, I imagine you could use some after what you had to do to smash that crystal," Artorius added after his last quip, poking further fun at the woman. "Though, personally that's why I elected to tear the thing open instead of well... physically tearing that thing open." Of course, the man wasn't too serious. Well, not that serious anyway. At the same time, he did enjoy the fact that he didn't have to get up close and personal with the thing in the first place. He didn't refuse to do so out of laziness or some sort of ew-that-thing-has-the-heeby-jeebies sense, but moreso under the general sense that he just preferred to do things that he didn't have to.

Nevertheless, it was back to the matter at hand, which of course was the semi-cryptic plaque sitting in front of them. Personally, this thing was child's play to him. It's not like it was complicated. In fact, the mechanics of it seemed quite simple. Neither of the two thieves were total novices in regards to navigating through ruins or negiotiating with traps. Frankly, the moment Artorius had read the plaque he had a general understanding of what was going on. Artesia was glad he didn't have to explain this as it was quite obvious that Artesia was on the same wavelength as he was.

Now, it was just a simple matter of figuring out what in the hell would actually flush all the water away. Scanning the room with his chocolate-colored eyes, Artorius located a rusted metal chain. However, it seemed quite unstable, and glancing at the ring of metal with a bit of broken chain just below it, it seemed like the flush was broken. This meant that they would have to reach up higher to grab it, but it was unfortunately out of immediate reach. "Artesia, get your ass over here. I've found the flush. Hopefully we won't need a plunger though," the man remarked with a smirk. "Now, let's save our magic and daggers and do this the old fashioned way," he finished as he crouched down. Essentially, Artorius was requesting that she climb his shoulders to reach up to yank the chain.

Now, Artesia was perhaps physically stronger than Artorius, but she was also much lighter. So, the two things evened out. At that point, it is pretty much tradition for the guy to be the one to be the ladder here. Besides that, even a street rat like Artorius has a modicum of pride that wouldn't allow him to be the one lifted up here.

While Artesia was trying to find the switch or button that would activate the flush the plaque spoke about Artorius was busy doing much the same thing in a very different way. His eyes scanned the area around them finding the chain which they sought leaving Artesia's efforts to be in vain, it was alright though because while she didn't find the button she wanted she did find a particularly shiny golden coin. What it was doing underneath the skulls on the pedestal no one would ever know, good thing it didn't matter in any way what so ever. The reaction she had as she heard Artorius call her name was somewhat similar to what a raccoon who had been caught in your garbage at one am in the morning would have, that was to say that she jumped slightly, grabbed the item she was after and turned to face him with the best innocent expression she could muster. It wasn't until she realised who she was with and the rest of the circumstances that she also realised there was no need for her to hide the fact she'd taken something, reactions tended to be instinct more than anything else for even professional thieves as it turned out.

"I don't usually let men reference my ass so soon into a relationship but I suppose I'll make an exception for you this once." Artesia winked while walking over to her 'partner in crime' knowing full well what they were going to do to reach the chain above them. "One wrong comment though and I promise you that you won't know what hit you." Artesia climbed onto Artorius's shoulders and as he stood she balanced herself to avoid tilting the man one way or the other, working together for a smooth operation such as this one was imperative if you wanted to do it quickly, cleanly and above all without injury. Once Artorius was standing straight and things were well balanced he moved his hands from her around her calves where he'd been steadying her to be just underneath her feet. Showcasing her impressive muscular strength and proving that her toned and taught body wasn't just for looks Artesia worked in tandem with Artorius to bring her body to a standing position from a seated one primarily with her lower body strength alone.

After bringing her feet to stand on Artorius's shoulders -where he also held her for added security- she balanced and as she reached up to grab the chain in question things were going good and for all intensive purposes it seemed like they would continue that way. "Gonna have to jump a bit so let go of my ankles alright." When Artesia felt the grip around her ankles loosen she would make the leap into the air to grab the rusted chain, unfortunately while it did indeed activate what they wanted the chain wasn't going to hold her weight and as one of the rusted links broke the woman was sent back down towards the ground from whence she came.

Regardless of how the woman did or did not land on the ground the chain that had been pulled would show its effects when several grates located around the pedestal opened up draining the water that surrounded it and once the water went away a loud rumbling sound would start up. The pedestal itself would raise up to reveal a staircase and it would become obvious as to which way the thieves were going next.

"Usually I wouldn't, but you know, it just speaks to me," Artorius replied in jest, referencing her admittedly fine posterior half in sarcasm, and half in witty flirtatiousness. Artorius enjoyed the back and forth quips. They were good harmless fun, and frankly having a companion for the moment kept him honest and focused. Otherwise, Artorius probably would have been stealing left, right, and center. He could have swore he saw a faint golden glimmer beneath that pile of skulls for a moment, but by now it was something that had simply slipped his mind. Though, hypothetically if he asked the red-haired woman to turn her pockets he would have found that, along with some other treasure picked up throughout the place, were in her pockets. That said, it's not exactly like the man could complain, as he had a few items of his own in his pockets. The two of them were like peas in a pod. Or, more accurately, they were like little fuzzy raccoons with an eye for shining things. We likes the shiny things. Those thoughts aside, Artorius finished his words to the woman after she semi-threatened to hit him if he went overboard with his comments. "Besides, if you hit me and fall, well, let's just say I haven't forgotten who's jacket you're wearing. Can't exactly get that too dirty, now can we?"

Shortly after, Artorius had helped hoist her upwards. Frankly, he wasn't too fond of her having to stand on his shoulders because they had been walking in rather dirty, murky water throughout the day. Now, his own jacket was kind of dirty, aside from the dust and dank smell of the ruins and catacombs anyway. Letting go of her ankles once she found her balance, Artorius kept his eyes straight ahead, doing his best to be a good boy and not stare at the leather-clad you-hoo's just above his vision. Regardless of that, she managed to grab onto the chain. However, with an audible snap, the chain broke and Artesia was sent hurtling down towards the ground. Ever the gentleman, Artorius sighed and extended his arms out, catching her and holding her in his arms for a moment. "Don't go blushing on me or anything. I'm just doing you a favor," Artorius declared to her, sounding nothing like a Prince Charming holding a young lass in the classic and much-desired 'Princess Carry.' If anything, he was more like a rugged Street Rat. But, he did have quite the handsome face nonetheless.

That aside, Artorius let her down gently on her feet. Just as he did so, the sound of moving water rushed towards the drainage pipes that had opened up beside the pedestal. Furthermore, once that was finished the pedestal itself had lifted itself up, turning as rose. Eventually, as it finished rising and turning, it revealed a spiral staircase within its narrow walls. Leading the way, Artorius gestured Artesia to go ahead. "Ladies first," Artorius murmured to the woman.

The spiraling flight of stairs was a long descent, and it frankly felt a bit uncomfortable and stuffy given the tight corridors. Nevertheless, they would soon find themselves in a massively immense cavern. A huge chasm separated one end of the cavern from another, with large chains connecting the two together. Though, it looked impossible to navigate over the chains as, even after crossing, they would have to climb an impossibly steep vertical or overhanging cliff face. Yet, ahead of them was a platform which held a large rectangular piece of stonework which resembled a tomb of some sort.

On the surface of the tomb-like object were three different inscriptions. The two would find that touching them in different orders resulted in different consequences, some of which they wouldn't like, a few of which they definitely wouldn't like, and one which would prove quite useful to the two. "Looks like these need to be touched in a certain order. Unfortunately, as I'm sure you know, these things don't come without an element of danger to them. Let's try this -- you try, then I'll try, then we'll both give it a go together," Artorius suggested to her. It was worth a shot.

Artesia found herself somewhat surprised when she stopped falling before actually hitting the water below which she had been dreading and waiting for. There would have been no way that falling into the murky and slimy water would have been a pleasant experience in any regard but she had pretty much braced herself for the inevitability of taking a dip in it. As she glanced up to see Artorius's chest Artesia realised what had happened and as her eyes travelled further to see his smirking face she couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, "Oh please, not even if you paid me." She would slip down to her feet once more to the receding water below before turning and dusting off the hoodie she was wearing, "We both know you just wanted to protect your beloved hoodie. Although, I have to say I'm alright with that given the alternative." Alright, so she had the feeling that Artorius had actually caught her to save her the fate of falling into the cruddy water below over simply saving his hoodie from a less than amazing dunk, still, it wasn't like she could thank him after what he'd just said. Nope, simply wasn't going to happen.

Artesia lead the way down the staircase that had been revealed underneath the pedestal itself. The corridor that the stairs were in was tight and stuffy, so much so that even Artesia who was used to small spaces felt a little bit confined. Luckily though she had never been the type to let feeling slightly confined stop her from doing anything, if she had then she would never have made it through tight crawl spaces and the like to find half of the treasure she'd obtained in her time. Cobwebs were a pain in the ass as the pair made their way down the long descent and it got to the point where Artesia raised the hood to the jacket she was wearing and pulled it forwards so that it would be what caught any stray ones rather than her actual hair or face.

Eventually the pair emerged out into what had to be considered an impressive and open expanse of desolate and somewhat depressingly grey looking land. There was a large canyon splitting the area in two with nothing but mammoth and seemingly ornate chain bridging them together, other than that there really wasn't anything of note other than a tomb of sorts that sat quite the walk from the entrance. Of course the pair made their way there knowing that whatever they were to do here to get to the other side had to have something to do with it and when they did they were proven right. A puzzle rested upon the top of the tombs lid and as agreeing with Artorius's thoughts on what they had to do to solve it Artesia gave a shrug, "Sure, why not." The odds of them getting it right the first time were low and so prepared for various kinds of traps the pair had to hope they could avoid falling to them, the question was; what kind of trap would be sprung if one was indeed sprung?

Artesia's hand hovered the inscriptions for a moment before she placed it down pressing as she did so, the plate sunk into the tombs lid and for a second nothing happened. After that second though hundreds of tiny holes in the tomb opened up to fire out darts, imagine a sneezing Echidna shooting it's spines out in every direction and you'd have it preeeeetty damned close. Artorius stood behind Artesia or at least enough so that the darts wouldn't hit him, as for her though she had to silence her mind and run on instinct. Thankfully working on instinct and reflexes alone worked out for as the darts came shooting out towards her Artesia managed to cover her body in a coat of darkness which she forced to expand outwards forcing them to miss her and to divert away from Artorius as well.

As everything died down and it was obvious her choice had been one of the wrong ones she turned to Artorius and motioned to the tomb for his turn.

The canyon itself was remarkably bleak, cast with a pallette of gray with a rather unpleasant shadow mass of shadows hanging over the entirety of the massive cavernous area. Though, nothing in the area was darker than the shadows of the depths below within the deep chasm. The area itself was generally eerie and unpleasant, especially given the howling wind that almost sounded like ghastly whispers, but also the sound of heavy wrought iron which came from the enormous links of chains which shifted in the wind. This wasn't the sort of place that Artorius wanted to stay in for very long, so he hoped that they would somehow manage to figure out how to get across using the inscriptions on the tomb's stone lid in one try. Though, deep down he knew, that knowing their luck, they probably wouldn't be able to actually accomplish that amazing feat.

Nevertheless, Artesia was the first to try. After she pressed onto one of the inscriptions, the plate it was labelled onto sunk into the stone lid of the tomb. At first, nothing happened. Then, the sound of high-pitched rushing wind burst forth, sending forward a barrage and volley of darts which hurtled towards them. Fortunately, Artesia managed to blast away the oncoming darts. Who knew if they were still sharp but rusted metal points, which may or may not be poisoned, were definitely not things that Artorius wanted to be hit with. In general, Artorius had an aversion to being converted to a human pin cushion.

After Artesia had blown away the darts in an impressive display of suddenly expanding magical energy, everything had died down. Now, as she turned towards Artorius, the man knew that it was his turn to try something out. Looking towards the lid of the tomb, the man put his hand onto one of the inscriptions, resulting in the metal plate sinking into the lid itself. At first, everything was quite still and quiet safe for the sound of rushing wind and shifting wrought iron.

And then a scream.

The lid was quickly slid a ways off, and sitting upright was a screaming, howling rotted ancient zombie. Jumping up a bit, Artorius turned towards Artesia for a reaction. Quickly, the two had the same instinct -- they smacked it hard in the face, and Artorius quickly pulled the lid right over it. Fortunately, that's all that it took to seal the thing shut again, but it did serve to make his heart rate jump up quite a few notches. "Well, that was uncomfortable. Let's never speak of that again."

It went to show just how similar the pair of them were in many aspects when both Artorius and Artesia lashed out punching the zombie skeleton fair it's rotting face, aint neither of them got time for that. Luckily the creature was easily silenced and otherwise taken care of as they shuffled the heavy stone lid back over top of it using their sheer adrenaline powered muscles and for extra measure Artesia hopped onto it to sit upon it with an innocent expression. "Speak of what?" Yep, as far as they were concerned that never happened. What skeleton/zombie? Stop talking about nonsense, you clearly huffed some bad stuff if you are seeing those kinds of things.

With a sense of assurance Artesia pushed the last inscription down while secretly cursing the fact that neither of them had been able to read the stupid ancient language that they had written on them, it would have sucked ot find out that they read something like; 'Not this one', 'Not this one either' and lastly but not least 'This one'. "Third time's the charm." Said Artesia as they both awaited the results of their final choice. As the entire ground began to shake and rumble with the strength equalling a moderate earthquake though she had to admit that even she hadn't been expecting it. Using her hands to steady herself as she sat on the edge of the tomb the woman glanced out to the other side of the canyon which seemed to be growing steadily closer, "Well whadya know, so those chains weren't just for ambiance after all."

The ride to the other side of the canyon was by no means a quick one, the mammoth chains were old and so too were the mechanisms that moved them. Frankly it was amazing that they still worked at all given how long they had likely been around. Eventually though the two pieces of land clicked together with the sound of clockwork cogs grinding to a halt and springing from her seat Artesia dusted her posterior off before stretching her arms into the air above her head. "Right-o then, out of the oven and into the frying pan I suppose." She said while glancing ahead to the dark and ominous looking tunnel that sat laid into the cliff face before them. There wasn't much of a choice in where they went from the end of their ride, they either went into the darkness of the tunnel or they sat around like idiots. No credit for guessing which they chose.

This time the pair lacked a torch to light their way and the further they stepped into the tunnel the darker things got, with nothing but her lighter to reveal what was immediately in front of her Artesia lead the way once again. "Stay close but for the love of god don't breathe on the flame." Sure, a lighter could always be re lit time and time again, that was the point of it. That didn't mean that she wanted to be continually doing so. While she had the feeling that Artorius was clever enough to know that and not to actually make the mistake Artesia couldn't help but recall a time in Sin when she'd seen it happen, repeatedly. Yep, there were people that dumb out there in the world.
