Get Chance and Luck!!

Mission Tully village smelt of the elderly in Hisoka's view, well, the old and the... Well... Older. Of all places where this mission was, it was the Village of the Elderly, the people who were on deaths door, how he wanted to end the lives of these people, but he couldn't since the morals of his families traditions. With a sigh and the look on his face of sheer annoyance like a kid being ignored by the parent in a toy store look on his face. The day was bright, and oddly cozy for him. Hisoka, with a job posted in his hand and the thought of money needed in his pocket, was on a Mission for today. It was his first time, as it was his first time in the Quatro Cerberus Guild Hall, the chills ran down his spine as all the mercenaries stared him down like a dog, at least he could ignore them and not create any mischief. The job posted required him to hunt down pigs on a farm on the other side on the town, the thought of bacon flew into his head, but alas, they had to come back alive. One thing in his favor though was the fact it required animal handling, and he was quite good with that due to his past and all that. It was also said, and it was specific, that there were 40 pigs to be collected, it was going to be a busy day for him, hopefully he will get some help today. |

Everyday is an adventure. That's how Daisuke lived his life, but as he walked through thestreets of Tully village, he started to doubt himself. The place was so quiet, and not the mysterious, exciting silence that Dai would enjoy, it was... boring, to say the least. He wasn't going to let that slow him down though. Something could happen that would change this enervating atmosphere. Youth! His body shouted. He needed to start moving, to do anything. He couldn't just walk around, not in this place. Dai loved to take long walks and just let his imagination soar, but this place made him feel like something was dragging him down. Rest... relax... you don't have to be so full of vigor... not here. It was as if the village was whispering into his ear to be lazy. He would have that! He stood, but just for a second to took a deep breath... then sprinted. He didn't care where he would go he just needed to move, to conquer this dull air that was surrounding him. He ran, and ran until he reached a farm. And what he saw made him laugh. Pigs were running around everywhere, and so many of them. It was chaos, but boy was it funny. "That farmer has his work cut out for him. I really doubt that he could take back control of those pigs," he sighed. "Maybe I should help. I've got nothing better to do, and it'll get me moving." |

Get Chance and Luck!!

At last through the old stinking town of oldness and on the other side, and now at least a few hundred meters out of town and arriving at his one destination, which was a farm stretching out at least a few dozen acres, paddocks all fenced up containing the living meet of your choice of Beef, Lamb, Chicken and various assortments of edible farm animal. A plump old farm man with grey hair and clearly having trouble with catching his pigs, which were running around the place, if this wasn't it, what was? And so, much to his demise, he had admitted that the job has to be done. Approaching the old, grey, fragile man "Excuse me sir, I imagine you are the one who had posted this request?" The old man takes the paper and nods, "Please, do excuse me. I have no hearing." Interesting, it seem's the man realized just by looking at the job request. "Thank you for coming young man, i believe that you will be most useful in capturing my piggies for me. I have named each one you know..." The old man pulls out a sheet of paper that lists forty different names on it with a picture of each one next to it, much like a hit list. "I will be inside napping if you need me." Well, for Hisoka, it was time to get to work on the forty named pigs, even though he only had one for them, and that was bacon. Looking down the list and then looking up at the pigs, looking to be an estimate of ten in front of him, this was shaping up to be a fine day indeed. |

Daisuke began to ponder the thought of whether or not he should really be going around grabbing pigs. I mean it's not like he was thinking that he didn't want to help the poor farmer who was stuck with this chaos, but he was trying to figure out if it would be worth his while, or if he would come out of it empty handed. He sighed, and so the gremlins began to whisper in his ear again... you don't have to do it... it's not your responsibility... don't tire yourself with this... it's a waste of your time... "I guess I'm doing this then." he said aloud. ... no... don't... Dai never really had a problem conquering gremlins, after all he was raised to be a just king, who could possibly better at controlling them than him? Maybe he would find out... As he walked along the wood railing of the farm -that thankfully prevented the pigs from turning the whole village into a dump- he saw a tall young man with auburn hair holding a piece of paper and talking to an old man. Maybe that's the farmer, he thought, as he got closer though, the old man went back inside, and the auburn haired man stood there with another piece of paper. Daisuke approached him. "Hello there," he said with a smile. "Are you perhaps the one burdened with the gathering of these crazy pigs?" he pointed. "If you'd like, I'd be happy to be of assistance. Of course, my services are free of charge, unless you deem otherwise. I just want to get myself moving you see, this village is killing my youth." He then smiled and offered his hand. "My name is Daisuke, which funny enough means 'great help'." Edited by Safe-T, Jul 22 2013, 12:19 AM.

Heh, free help. There couldn't be anything better than free help at this current given time, so of course Hisoka would take it. "Free help you offer, ffuffu. I would use your help in chasing these pork chops on legs." Hisoka extends his out for the sheer gratitude of this newly founded alliance with the newly found stranger. Now shaking hands and he tightly squeezes his hand, smiling in a menacing way. "But do be wary, if you choose to back stab me in any way, I will not hesitate to kill you." Letting go and now looking around the place, "Now, may I suggest starting here in the front yard. There are still three other places with ten pigs each, apparently they're in the wheat field, the cow paddocks and machinery shed, according to the old man. Here would be the easiest and since the pens just over there, it would be the easiest start. Here, apparently, is the lists of there each individual names." He hands the paper to his partner in pig catching. Hisoka scans the front yard of the farm, only five pigs were in sight, meaning that the rest were in hiding. Between the five, there was a black, short legged, plump looking swine dwelling underneath a tree with a tire swing attached, a fleshy pink looking swine eating some grass on top of a small hill, a pale white looking piggy rolling in what to be some cow dung and the other two looked like they were repeatedly headbutting each other in succession, looking angry at each other, they didn't seem to be the intelligent looking pigs among the bunch, but certainly the most hostile and was clearly a two man job to apprehend the two in to swine custody. "Well, then... You. Shall we get bacon catching? If so, I will be taking the plump looking on under the tree." And so the job has started. |

OOC Daisuke was amused by the man's reply, and the way he tightly griped his hand as they shook them. The smile the man had on his face seemed almost evil, but at the same time oddly grateful. Daisuke laughed at the man's remark on the pigs being pork cops on legs, was he hungry? And what did he mean by back stabbing? Why in the world would some one offering you help want to back stab you? Maybe he thought that Dai might give up half way and abandon his offer to help, I guess that would kinda be a form of back stabbing, in that he gave him false expectations, but kill? That was a bit intense. Dai listened intently to his instructions, and took a good look at the paper with all the names of the pigs. Dai then turned to look at the first field they'd be doing the catching in, and decided to get the one that was eating grass on the slop. "You?" Dai replied to the man. "Call me Dai. I'm sure you'll like that, taking about killing me and such," he chuckled. "I didn't catch your name." After Hisoka told him which pig he was going after, Dai pointed at the on he was going to get. "OK, I'll get the one on the hill there." Dai then took of running, but slowed down as he got closer, as to not frighten the poor piggy. He then approached it with a calm voice saying: "Hi, there. Why don't we take back home." This pig seemed full from eating the grass, and as a result was looking very tired, so it didn't really respond to anything Dai was saying or doing. Its eyes were lazy, and it seemed as if it was about to doze off. It looked like Daisuke had lucked out for his first catch. He picked up the pig, which was fairly heavy, but thankfully not too big, and then hurried towards the pig pen. "Phew, that wasn't so hard. Now on to the next." Get Chance and Luck!!

The fat lump of lovable raw pork sitting under the tree and looking awfully tasty, as the scent of imaginary cook pock chops had glided into Hisoka's nostrils. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant for the picking of the humanly digestion system. This plump black one was just chilling in the shade, snorting in it's heavenly sleep, it was so peaceful he just wanted to burn it right where it was sleeping, but, unfortunately, that was out of the picture. So there stood Hisoka, looking down on what he wishes to be his next meal, and that lazy pig just not giving a damn on life. Bending down and shoving his hands underneath gold ol' "Black Betty", as it were named, and tried to lift up the fatty fat piggy... But the darn thing was just to darn heavy. Ol' Black Betty just snorts and goes back to her R&R session, it seemed that this plump thing was ready to be stripped of her met later in life. It had came to Hisoka's attention that she was barely going to move at all, and a voice of reason wouldn't come to the swines stubborn mind anyway. What he needed to do was to roll the fatty fat pig down the hill and into it's rightful cell of slop and scraps. So, he went go find a wooden plank and a decent stone, scheming schemes until he has schemed up the one that is sure to work. 15 minutes later and one fat pig that has not budged an millimeter, Hisoka sets up a leer system to move the queen of fatty fat hogs and once it was set, he jumped on the plank... In which failed. He needed more weight and so he climbed the tree and positioned himself, ready for the jump. "Isaac Newton... Don't fail me now" he whispers to him self and he jumps. Falling and hitting the plank, the pig had shifted to one side... Was it due to him? Or was it just moving to toy with Hisoka? It turns out the Miss Piggy over here move on her own accord, heading down the hill at her own free will. Meanwhile, Hisoka hit the ground hard and rolled down the hill, unable to stop himself. Before he knew it, he had landed in the pile of dung that one of the pig's had been in, in which he scared that little piggy and it went wee wee wee all the way home. Black Betty just hobbled along and snorted at Hisoka, with a grimace look on her face. Damn that rotten swine... And to top it off, he now smelt like dung. But, on the positive side... Two more pigs went back into the pen... 3 down 37 more to go... |

OoC Daisuke walked out of the pig pen only to find Hisoka struggling to get one of the pigs to move, though it wasn't long before he managed it and although he did end up in a pile of dung he still managed to get two pigs into the pen... which gave Dai an idea. He took a look around the grassy plain and when he spotted the two pigs that were ramming their heads into each other he thought: If I can get those dumb pigs to get mad at me instead of each other I can lead them towards the pen. It probably won't be very safe though... And he was right to think so, if those pigs got a hold of him he was a goner. I'm not sure who was dumber at this point, the two pigs clashing or Dai for attempting to lure them into the pen by provoking them. Dai walked up to the two pigs that were making some insufferable noises, nothing cute about these pigs. Dai stood for a second, he hesitated for a bit. "Okay, I'll taunt them and then sprint to the pen. Nothing difficult about that... right?" he whispered to himself. He walked up closer, and the pigs stopped. Dai was stunned. "Why'd you stop?" he asked... the pigs. They grimaced, looked at one another and then looked back at Dai. "Oh, no..." The pigs let out a dreadful sound as they proceeded to chase Daisuke. Dai quickly followed the plan he had made and ran as fast as he could to the pen, unfortunately he had forgot one small detail. Wait how am I going to get them into the pen and escape? He looked back at the rabid pigs and panicked. He ran straight into the pig pen and ended up cornered by the two pigs. With his back against the a pile of hay and the pigs charging at him he reacted as rapidly as humanly possible, getting out of the way just in the nick of time as the pigs dove right into the hay. They weren't hurt, but they were disoriented and began to roll in the hay unable to get on their feet. Daisuke's heart was still beating like crazy as he ran out of the pen to safety. "Talk about a close call," he said with a deep sigh of relief. |

Get Chance and Luck!!

Staggering out of the mud and over to the pen where five of 40 pigs reside, "Good job with the Betus and Butthead there, but before we move on, they're still 5 other pigs in this area. In which I can not see at all." And he was right, the front yard was bare of swine. "Well, what do you say, shall me split up and look? You seem to be able to handle you share of pigs." At this point Hisoka knew it was best to do this, 5 pigs, 2 each and 1 spare, seems easy enough. Looking around the yard, he could see an old wind mill to the east and nothing else, the drive way that was all way down the southern area that was about 500 meters long, to the west is the old hay barn and to the north is the chicken coupe and main house. "Well then, I'll take the south and west, so, will you be ok to take the east and north?" And so it was set, Hisoka headed to the south and don the winding drive way, that was full of rocks, dirt and the random cow patties that were dropped when the cows were being moved. 100 meters down and still none in site, 200 meter's down, nothing, 300, 400 meters... Not a singe swine found and now at the end, nothing. Well, until a snort had erupted as he turned his back to the south. He stopped and looked, nothing was there. Shrugging and moving back down the road, Another snort and squeal had been heard, but he could hear or see nothing. A rm had hit him from behind and knocked him on to his back, "Bloody hell was that?" he cursed and again, he got trampled by an invisible feet. Things were now getting interesting, an invisible force was around, knocking him around like nothing. Once again, he had felt it, but this time he was quick to act and grabbed it, the feel was like a form of fabric and nothing more. It slips from his arm and he falls, but at least the thing was visible... A pig that was small, fleshy pink skin skin and curly tail. It wore black circle black glasses, a yellow and maroon scarf around it's neck and had a lightning shaped scar on it's for head... Remembering the picture ... "Harry Plopper" The pig than ran... And ran... And ran some more down the road and Hisoka didn't even give chase, for he knew that ie running back too the pen and said "These pigs are really not normal." He get's up and heads back to the yard, he had found 1 of 3 pigs that he needed to find on his half. OoC

OoC "Thank you." Daisuke said with a smile graciously accepting the man's complement. With 5 pigs out of sight Dai thought they might as well split up, which was what Hisoka ended up suggesting anyway. After Hisoka headed west towards the old hay barn, Dai took off to his designated locations, which were the old wind mill in the east and the chicken coop and main house up north. Daisuke headed opposite Hisoka; towards the chicken coop, he thought that if he was lucky he'd find a pig hiding in there. The coop was open when he walked up to the entrance, inside it was a complete mess. The hens were going on a rampage while a little piggy, Arnold was his name Dai remembered, was being harassed. The sounds of the chickens cluck and coo was only made worse by the smell of the place. Dai had to think fast, since staying in there was unbearable, he had to think of a way to get Arnold out of there without get the hens more worked up. What he needed was a distraction, but what could get get this fowls to face the other away while he snatched the swine. Daisuke thought as his gaze narrowed, looking down at the wooden walls of the well closed off coop he saw the light switch. You see the coop was made to be pitch dark so that the hens wouldn't wake when the farmer didn't want them to. Now all Daisuke needed was to know exactly were to charge to get Arnold and he also needed to time it perfectly. He looked carefully at where his target was position, waited to the count of three and listen as the moment the light was turned off the hens all went silent, and he made his attack. Dai went straight for Arnold grabbing his little body with both arms and running back out of the coop, not forgetting to open the lights on his way out. When he was a fair distance away from the coop he stopped to take a quick breather. He held Arnold up so that they faced each other. "This was exactly what I was hopping for!" he laughed. After sending he wee little piggy all the way home, he went back north this time to the main house to see how his luck was there. |
