Things went much better than expected. Two of the knights were taken out with no fuss at all, this was a good day. And the last guy, he was going to be even easier to deal with then the other two. He let fear consume him and acted recklessly, people who did that were the easiest ones to kill. Clear took a step back to avoid the swinging sword and then reached forward with his hand to grab the man's neck. It should be pretty easy, considering he was the one charging at Clear. By putting pressure on it, he was going to make the man pass out. Then, he was going to toss his body to the ground, next to the other two. Whatever the case, he was planning to use his spear and kill all three of them off. No reason to let them walk around after this, they were only going to get him in more trouble. It was pretty convenient that they did in a cemetery, their graves could be made at that very same spot. "Not that I'm going to give them a burial myself." Clear mumbled before tossing the last one aside. He wiped the blood off his spear and put it back, moving to the grave itself. Clear dug up the grave with some effort and found a small crate lying there. Not too small and not too big, it was about half a mater long and made out of wood. Whatever was inside it was of no concern to Clear, it wasn't his job to check the item he was about to deliver. He even lectured a person on that once, you don't open the package you are given to deliver. He picked it up and dusted the dirt away before placing it under his armpit and moving off. For some reason, he felt that leaving it inside his backpack was not a smart move. Anyone could steal it that way, it was much safer in his arms. People could see it, sure, but that mattered little. His next destination was the outskirts of the town, the place where he was supposed to meet with the person from the gang. He forgot to ask the details on that, was he going to meet with one of their own first, or was it one of the men from the other gang? He was just going to find that out firsthand when he got there. And where exactly in the outskirts was it meant to be? Clear took a guess and moved to the closest part to the cemetery that could register as an outskirt. |

There was a scraping noise that was making its way towards Clear as a lone figure was walking towards him. In a low gruffy voice it spoke. What the hell do you think you are doing. Killing knights in my grave. They'll cut your head off for that you know. Well actually they will since I've called them here and they should be here any moment now. It was the grave keeper and he heard and saw the commotion that was happening. While Clear was digging up the crate, the grave keeper went of to alert the knights. With that completed, he confronted Clear in order to keep in preoccupied and allow the knights to catch him. The grave's keeper was a horridly disfigured old man after years of working in the grave and his body eventually breaking from the strain, but it didn't stop him at all. Raising his shovel in a threatening manner, the grave keeper hobbled towards Clear and attempted to make him nervous while jabbing at him with the shovel. In the background there was the clinking of metal as the knights eventually got closer, but they went to the grave's keeper house first to see where he was so he could lead them to Clear. That gave Clear only a snippet of time, but if the man made any noise, he would have alerted the knights to his position and see the unruly mess that he made. |

Well, shit. A grave keeper, Clear completely forgot about those guys' existence. Why did they even put someone in charge of corpses? It wasn't like they were going to walk off or anything. All right, keep calm and act composed. This is just an old man, he didn't have the power to go against Clear by himself. He could only rely on the knights to capture him. For now, the best course of action would be... knocking him out. Clear took one swift step forward and thrust his punch at the old man's stomach with most of his strength. The idea was to make him pass out in one go, before he had the chance to do anything else or call for help. He could have just killed this one off like the rest, but the thought of killing an innocent man didn't sit well with Clear. Even if this old man got in his way, he did nothing wrong. He merely reported a murderer to the knights, no big deal. If anything, it was only his bad luck to get involved with a member of Tartaros. If the old man did pass out from Clear's punch, he was going to quickly drag him off the graveyard and hide him in a nearby area. Preferably somewhere with lots of vegetation to obscure vision. When the knights didn't find the one who called them over, they would probably dismiss it as a prank. Clear heaved a sigh of frustration at this whole situation. Perhaps killing those knights in broad daylight wasn't such a smart choice. He should have paid more attention to his actions, it was his own fault that this happened. If only he had moved with more subtlety... But covert operations were not his forte and he should stop brooding over things that already happened. Yeah, he should probably think of what to do next. There was a chance the knights would arrive before he managed to drag away the old man, or he could prove tougher than Clear anticipated and a single hit wouldn't knock him out. Either way, another confrontation with the knights was likely, and this one wouldn't end so well. He wouldn't be able to take them by surprise, making this a less than ideal situation. |

The gravekeeper was old and slow and well he was knocked out by the younger youth and down he went. Collapsing on the ground, he was dragged into vegetation to hide him for the time being. With that, Clear had cleared the area. The knights were slowly moving through the cemetery looking for the grave keeper who had raised the alarm that three knights were killed. They were concerned since they couldn't find him, but in his house there were no signs of struggles so he was either in the cemetery somewhere or he had duped them and ran off. Crazy old man, but they'll decide to call him crazy when they can't find him. Meanwhile, in the warehouse that Clear initially visited, there was a message that was sent to an orphanage. The orphanage was always a good source of new members and they were used to complete errands for people. The head mistress got the message through a series of low tech contraptions. The head mistress looked at the message and it said Get one of your kids to deliver the following to a mage working for us. "The client will be on the outskirts of town near the abandoned farmyard. He will be there at 2am so be in on time. The code word is Bootylicious" With that, the head mistress walked to the kids that were playing around in the courtyard and she called one over to her. It was a small girl with brown hair tied in pig tails and she was wearing a brown one piece dress. She was about 5 years old and she was given the message. Smiling, the girl skipped out of the orphanage and started to look for the mage. |

Good, this took care of that obstacle. Silly old man, you don't mess with a person who can kill three knights on his own. Clear could never understand that logic, you see a mass murderer and you call the knights on him, then you go to confront him? What was this, a police drama? The same thing had happened a few times in the past with people who could have easily ran away from Clear revealing themselves to him. It was as if he inspired no fear at all. Which he probably didn't. A cloak and gourd don't exactly scream dangerous. "I need to update my wardrobe..." he thought. But since he was in little danger of getting caught by the guards now, he could leave the cemetery. Before that, though, he had to make sure the old man didn't get in his way again. He might wake up and try to mess with Clear's plans again, he couldn't have that. He ripped a piece of cloth from the old man's shirt and used it to tie his hands together. A second piece of cloth was used for his legs and a third for his mouth. And just for safe measure, another two pieces to tie the man to a tree. If he could get away from that, well, he was one tough fellow. Someone would eventually find and rescue him, but that wouldn't be for a few days. When all was taken care of, Clear started moving to his objective once more. The outskirts of town, there weren't really many places one could call that. Since the place was practically a dump, there was only a small area that was outside the city, yet close enough that it couldn't be called wilderness. And in that place, there was a single girl wandering around. She couldn't be older than six years and looked like she was in search of someone. Clear, being the softie he was on children, approached the little girl in a friendly manner. He made sure to lift his hood before that, else he might scare her. "Hello there, are you lost? Did you get separated from your mother?" he asked as casually as he could. He didn't want to come off as a creeper, people tended to be too uptight when a man approached kids on his own. The same wasn't true for women, surprisingly. Prejudice, this world was full of it. Crazy people were likely to be found among both genders, guarding your kids from only one of them wasn't the most effective strategy. Edited by Vilis, Jun 18 2013, 05:33 PM.

The girl ran up to Clear as he was exactly how he was described in the message. She giggled and ran up to Clear and then said I've got a message for you, but before I give it to you. I want to play a game The girl then ran to a bush which was near by and then she pulled out a mask. The mask was a white mask with exaggerated features like a large noise and prominent cheeks with red swirls all around and black fur for the hair. She then activated then walked up to Clear and then said in a man's voice Are you ready to play the game? The girl giggled and then ran around Clear and told him what she wanted him to do I want you to bring me Charlie Stuart Charlie Stuart? Who was he? Well the girl giggled and in the manly deep voice she explained who he was. Charlie Stuart is a thorn in our side. He is a unruly fucktard who has been trying to steal territory from us with his new young and stupid gang. They have been useful for diverting the attention of the knights for some time, but now that we are under the careful watch of the damn knights, they are going around like they own the place and we can't stop them. To prevent them from being a bigger problem later on, so to make things more easier for us. We need his body alive. I can't stress how much it is important for him to be still breathing because framing a dead body is not that easy. Now are you ready to play the game? Come back here and your time limit is midnight. You fail to meet this dead line and you won't get the message. The girl giggled and then ran off into the bush. |

What. What the hell was wrong with this kid? A messenger? Why would they choose a method like that to contact him? Was it because a kid wouldn't arouse suspicion? That was probably the case. Basically, Clear had to find this Charlie Stuart and bring him to this location before midnight, otherwise, he wouldn't get the message he needed to complete his actual mission. This seemed unnecessarily roundabout, they just added more work for him that wasn't really part of the deal. No matter, he was just going to make them pay him extra when the time to collect his reward came. "So I need to find this person by myself. Any ideas?" Clear asked Suina. "You could just ask around." she shrugged. Ask around, that was not such a simple thing in this place. People didn't simply give you the information you wanted in a lawless area, you had to earn it. There were several ways to go about it, bribery, buying a drink or downright beating the information out of people. And with the way things were, the last option was the more likely. Clear wasn't going to spend his money on a mission he was doing to get money. It would be an oxymoron. Thus, he returned to the town and looked for a place that looked like it would give him what he wanted to know. A pub was the go-to place in situations like these, the shadier the better. Well, every bar was shady in a town like this, but Clear remembered a specific one he had been to before. The one where he was sent to by the master to pick up a cache of beer, the very same cache that got him into tons of trouble the last time he was in Dandelion. Well, the barman was an acquaintance of the master, so it was likely he was going to give Clear the information he wanted. If he remembered correctly, his image was that of the typical barkeeper stereotype, short balding hair, beard and a mustache. He had a map to that place when he was there last, but he didn't need one anymore. Getting to a place once was all he needed to remember its location. Anyway, he got to the bar after some time and sat down at the counter. "Old man, what can you tell me about Charlie Stuart?" he asked in a really low voice. |

The barkeeper made a low chuckle when he heard that name and said quietly to Clear Piece of work, that guy and his gang. Thinks that the can do what ever they want here now that the big shots are under the eyes of those knights. Business has gone to the shits cos everything is up in the air. And you don't look like some wee nilly shit face kid who's trying to get into some hot shot gang. Well you can find them flaunting themselves in the red light distract. Brats aren't even old enough to sprout hair down there and they think the can walk around and own the place. You can find more information from the mother of the yellow dress house in the red light district. She'll tell you more. Of course there was going to be some shady business in the town. Everywhere does, but because of how unruly and how the knights are not even bothering to control the area, the underworld just surfaces up in pockets and the red light district is one of these unsavoury faces. Charlie Stuart with his cohort of idiots would waltz around the district in shitty teenage gansta gear with their hair hidden by bandanas, ripped clothes and tattoos, they were nothing more than carrions who took advantage of the situation. Even so he was the only active power in the underworld at the moment and with the chaos and turmoil going on at the moment, all the business and livelihood are up in the air. |

Ugh, the red light district, Clear really didn't want to hear that. Walking around that area was going to be unpleasant, to say the least. "Thanks for the information." he told the barman before getting up and leaving just like that. He got a few curious glances from the patrons, but nobody bothered themselves with him for more than a few seconds. People came and went all the time, one man with a peculiar outfit wasn't that out of the ordinary. Now outside the bar, Clear was met with another question. Where exactly was this town's red light district? He didn't know the place that well, nor did he know where such a district was normally supposed to be. If he had to take a guess about Coreopsis, it would be some secluded part of the city. But here, he wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being right in the center of everything. Good for business and all, they didn't have to hide from any knights. Those were probably customers as well, it should be common ground. But the original problems was still unsolved, where was this district? The only way Clear was going to get the answer he needed would be by asking someone. And any random mook would know of such a famous place. It had to be famous, right? This wasn't the kind of town where one could do much else. So, he grabbed the first person that walked in front of the bar by the shoulder and tripped him over to speed up the discussion. "Where can I find the red light district?" Clear asked sternly. "Woah, man, what the hell's your prob- ouch, ouch, ouch, fine! You just have to follow the little red dots at the end of each street to find your way!" the man screamed as Clear twisted his shoulder. Content with the answer he got, he let go of the man and started his venture to this so-called 'yellow dress house'. Honestly, what kind of name was that for a brothel? It didn't really sound... erotic. But Clear wasn't going to question a line of work he knew little about. When he finally got to the district, his surroundings were exactly what he expected. Women 'dressed' in suggestive clothing were trying to pick up customers. He quickly walked through the place and ignored anyone talking to him, heading to an obviously yellow building in the distance. |

The yellow house was a brothel house with a lot of oriental women who were there. They were exotic to Fiore and these girls were brought from over seas for the locality, but even then they were taken care off by the Madam of the house. She was telling the girls to clean up the place from last night's escapades as her voice could be heard violently from outside. She was a stern and explosive woman, but she would direct her viscous tongue and hair pin dagger at anyone who tried to harm the girls. They were her commodity. Charlie Stuart and his gang were attracted to the girls in the yellow house and they would come all the time to flirt with the girls and to woo them. They had a thing for the girls since they seemed all meek and cute like, unlike the wrinkled and saggy eyed cows in the other houses. The Madam had it up to her neck with the boys and was so close to stabbing one in the eye with her dagger if they weren't so full of shit and had a lot of things under their control. She went outside and had a smoke while she looked up and down the street. The other whore bags were doing nothing to make their place presentable, but that didn't make her happy or anything. She had a thorn in her side and she needed to get it plucked out and pronto. That was when she saw Clear who was walking down the street. She eyed him up and thought that he was a horrid choice for a dress crosser. With that she flicked her head away and started looking at other people and wondered if they could be any use to her. Finishing her cigarette, she threw it on the ground and walked in side and shouted to the girls to get washed and clean before they got ready for the night. |
