The knight's action made Raven quite surprised, just enough to make her lips quirk up and her eyebrows to raise. When was the last time she allowed that to happen? It must've been a while. The robber was bleeding by the forehead and was quivering with fear, his voice cracked, "I... I... I... d-didn't..." "Still denying it? Well I did warn you and that was a warning sign from him as well," she sighed and strolled her way until she was face-to-face with the fear-stricken man. "Are you sure you wanna continue with this? I can't promise you that you'll make it out alive." Her voice was cold, her eyes were still and dead. "M-m-mercy!" The fear was evident by now but she looked up at Panzer, signaling him to do it again. "NO! PLEASE! I-I'll tell you..." he was near crying, "Please don't... I-I stole most of the items... B-but there w-were some th-that I b-bought... But th-they were probably s-stolen as well... I'm serious! Please don't do it..." The robber bursted into tears of fear, not sadness. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" He kept babbling. This was too much for Raven to handle; she walked out of the room and smirked and choked back an insane laugh. Never before had she seen that or done something like that; it was satisfying. Once she calmed herself down, she re-entered the room with a displeased face, "Do you know what the man looked like and what he sold you?" "He was cloaked in black... I-I think he has blonde hair... Red eyes... Hunched over... I-I bought the things you're carrying... The stone... and a suitcase... I didn't look in it yet..." He listed all of her possessions before sinking back into his crying. "And they were taken after you ran... Seems like I have to go back there," She sighed. "Alright, I'm done, do what you want with him," She whispered to the knight. |

Panzer let the poor sap go and stepped back to lean against the wall arms folded as Raven went to do her part of it which she did by warning and threatening him about Panzer and what he would do. He remained on the wall watching and listening until he noticed Raven look up with a nod to signal for him to do it again which he went to do but stopped halfway as the criminal panicked letting out some information but it wasn’t anything that Panzer didn’t know already or Raven for that matter seeing as how the stolen objects belonged to her. That was when he said something useful, some of the objects he was selling had definitely been stolen but not by him, apparently this man had bought them off somebody else. And that was when the robber broke down into tears either of fear or sadness, it didn’t matter as his crying was a great sign that they had managed to break his will and once a person’s will was broken it was oh so very easy to interrogate them as they just didn’t have it in them to fight back or resist anymore. Panzer scoffed as Raven went outside of the room for some reason, perhaps it was to get some fresh air or maybe she needed a moment to pull herself together or something like that, you know, how new bloods tend to break down out of not being used to the work. “New blood…” he muttered to himself quietly as Raven returned and then almost immediately questioned him again to which the man gave away details about the person he bought the items from. So according to the males information they would need to return to his shop so they could track the other thief’s that moved in while Raven had Panzer had been chasing this shop keeper, if only he had told them this information sooner then they wouldn’t of waste any time question but oh well, not much that could be done about that. Having been granted free reign to do whatever he wanted Panzer grabbed the shop keeper by his collar and dragged him to an empty cell before throwing him in and locking it. “I’m returning with you” he said as he walked back to Raven after looking the shop keeper up. |

Raven stared at the knight in armor and shrugged. Honestly, she wouldn't mind some company as long as he didn't get in the way."Continuing this good-cop, bad-cop thing? Going to be quite fun if so," her mouth twitched again and let out a small, suppressed snicker. Oh god, what was going on with her? There was an unusual giddy feeling in her that hasn't been there in years. Maybe it was due to the "bad-cop" as he seemed to do everything she enjoyed. Whatever it was, she was ambiguous to it; hating the fact that she was laughing but enjoying the relaxing feel. With the bloody, quivering man securely locked in the cell, she made her way out of the barracks and headed back to the street. The duo walked back to the scene of the incident; it was tidier, but Raven suspected that it was due to people looking for free scraps to sell. They were met with quite a few stares along the way, some harsh words and taunts. Though nothing posed as a serious threat to her, she laid a hand on her large, broken sword as a warning and for safety measures. She eyed each booth, looking for her possessions as she believed that walking up to them and politely asking if they've seen or stolen any of her items would work. "This is why I hate shopping..." she muttered to herself while she rolled her eyes at the endless line of booths. A couple of minutes or what seemed like hours passed before she spotted something familiar. Again, it was piece that came from her original blade. "Hello sir..." she said as she made her way there. "The man looked up at her and narrowed his eyes, "What?" His tone was bitter. "I was looking at that piece of rock, I was wondering if I could have it." "500, 000 jewels," he grumbled. "Maybe you didn't understand me? I asked if I could have it," She said a little more forcefully and it sounded more like an order than a request. The man leaned forward and placed his hand on the hilt of a dagger that was on the table, "Dance for me, bunny... Then maybe I'll give it to you..." She scorned at him and gripped her sword, preparing to fight if needed. |

Continuing the good cop bad cop act? Well Panzer would continue the act as he was sticking with Raven for a while but you see the thing was that it wasn’t even an act to begin with, Panzer was that much of a hard ass and would treat criminals that violently if the need for it arose like it had been required with the criminal who was now rotting in a two by eight stone walled jail cell as he belonged. As they walked to the market street Panzer could of sworn that he heard Raven fighting to suppress a laugh by snickering but for why was beyond him unless, was she laughing at him?... Hmp… stupid little girl, any sense of trust he had placed in her as a fellow had now been shattered unless of course she had a VERY good reason for laughing at him or so help him she would regret it greatly. They had now arrived truly at the scene of the crime and began to search around for any signs of Raven’s property or clues that could lead them to the thieves that had the nerve to DARE still from a knight of Fiore, stealing from the general public was one thing but stealing from a fellow knight of Fiore was UNACCEPTABLE or at least it would be if Panzer had any damn say in the matter which he was determined to make sure that he did have! As they searched Panzer noticed the area was tidier from before, most likely due to blasted scavengers looting the place, that was not the worst part of this though oh heavens no, the worst part of it all was the fact both himself and Raven where getting dirty looks, insults and taunts from the people around them yet he ignored them despite furious that they had the nerve to, the knights of Fiore DEFENDED these people every day and this was the thanks they got?! Ungrateful assholes... Finally Raven had seemed to find something that belonged to her after many hours’ worth of searching. The item that she recognised on closer inspection seemed to be some sort of rock that like before looked like it was once a part of something greater, most likely a sword seeing as how Raven had a broken blade on her waist but why not simply replace it? That would be better no? Unless of course it had special meaning to her but still, why not simply replace it with a new sword and keep the old one at home? That would make her a lot more effective at her job “You should replace your blade, your current one hampers your effectiveness in combat” he said honestly and bluntly getting right to the point. Seeing as how the shop keeper/thief wasn’t going to play ball and give Raven back her stolen property Panzer decided to just reach forward and take it by hand then gave it to Raven. “There, item returned and you are under arrest” he said to the thief as he went to arrest him. |

"The blade has been replaced but it's not the same as it was before... Aside from that I'm not allowed to have it reforged to its full size nor use the original material," Raven said quietly as she grabbed the stone from Panzer. To show him the true strength of the real blade, she lightly pressed the stone on her skin; it was able to cut her like a hot knife through butter. Blood trickled down from the cut and the vendor took a step back, grabbing the dagger that was under his hand. Seeing the movement, Raven wielded her sword and disarmed the man, then pointed it just under the mans chin. "You're already arrested for stealing, don't make us arrest you for attempted assault." There was no way out, the man could obviously see, so he sank to his knees and bowed his head, surrendering. "Any blade can be effective as long as the wielder is as well," she glanced at the knight, referencing his comment about the blade preventing her from doing her best. She was born into a family of knights, she is able to use anything with deadly ease. "Now then... Where would the other thing be?" She questioned the vendor. He gulped and quickly looked behind her, Raven followed his gaze and was able to catch a glimpse of a shadow backing away to an alley. Taking a chance, the man tried his best to get up and run but atlas failed to do so he tumbled over. "We should lock up this one as well, he'll become trouble if we drag him with us. Maybe he should be with the other one... he's uneasy with blood," another smirk escaped from her. "Terror is such a lovely thing." Edited by AuraLex, Apr 16 2013, 11:10 PM.

Panzer rolled his eyes at the stupidity of this girl. It might be true that she couldn’t have the blade reforged to its original size or use whatever advanced material it was created from originally but that didn’t stop her from buying a new blade of the same size and using it until she was allowed to have her current broken blade repaired and remade. He watched not flinching or reacting in anyway as Raven demonstrated the quality of the material he had reclaimed for her, truly a blade forged from that would be incredibly sharp and most dangerous but he couldn’t help but wonder what applications it would have for creating armour or shields yet alas he doubted that there would be enough of the material to conduct suitable tests. It was at this moment Raven rapidly drew her weapon and used it to disarm the shop keeper whom had drawn a dagger hidden in his belt with the intention of attacking himself and Raven which would be another crime added onto his list of charges and so far it was of the following: Selling and handling of stolen goods as well as carrying a lethal weapon in addition to attempted murder. “I am grateful for the aid Raven” and without another word Panzer dragged the man off the ground as he had fallen down during an escape attempt then cuffed him and began dragging his sorry behind back to the barracks with no intention of putting him in the cell with the bleeding male because if they did need to scare him into speaking then it would be better to keep it a secret for a while. Having locked the criminal in his cell Panzer turned to face Raven and removed his helmet showing off his questioning expression; he wanted to know what other item Raven was seeking to acquire or else how on Earth would he be able to look for it yet alone find it? You couldn’t exactly search for something if you didn’t know what that something was after all. “So, what is your other missing item?” he asked as he took a seat in a chair his helmet set down upon the table turned so its eye sockets where facing Raven staring at her like they were boring into her very soul. Raven saw a glimpse of Panzer rolling his eye's under his sockets, "If I tell you the whole story, maybe it'd make sense but it would also make me untrustworthy." She ignored his compliment and sheathed her sword before making her way back to the barracks. There she took a seat and waited for Panzer to return. He asked her what her last item was and suddenly, she got slightly defensive. "Lets see... It's used as a distraction but I keep it in a gray metal suitcase so no one would be able to look at it. If a blasted person took it out then lets just say it has a bunny headband." In full, it was a seduction suit that Raven wore during situations that involve many guys, bars, or clubs. Though, she'll only wear it if it's the only thing that'll get her into the place; long story short, its a suit she wears on super-duper, extraordinary, near-impossible situations... And maybe when she finds a lover. Finding a need to look at something other than Panzer after saying that, she focused on the helm he took off. It was intimidating to look for most people, but Raven wasn't like most people and thought the designs looked rather unnecessary since it added weight. "Let's get going, we're wasting time," She stood up and grabbed the things she needed. "The first one said a shady guy was selling them and this one was glancing at someone else during our encounter." How were they going to find the person? The culprit sounded like a door-to-door seller--you'd never know where they might end up next. "I guess we can return to the spot again and look for a blonde, red-eyed man... Unless you have another plan on finding this person." |

Panzer noticed that Raven suddenly became defensive about his inquiries into her last missing item. Well that was another rather stupid thing of her to do; Panzer didn’t actually care about why she had that item or even what she used it for, he only cared about knowing what it was so he could find it. Whatever was so special about this outfit had to be something pretty impressive to warrant the protection of a metal case and her secrecy yet the fact she had told him about the headband was enough information for him to go on. After all how many outfits that incorporated a bunny headband could possibly exist in this town? Watching Raven stand up he had to admit that she brought up a very good point. How where they going to find this man? All they had was a vague description of his general appearance and while Panzer did have an idea it was not one that they could implement due to the fact none of them owned a dog but the reader must be confused with this so I shall explain. Panzer’s idea was to use a dog to track the scent of Raven’s missing headband because as she had obviously worn it numerous times then it would smell of her not that she smelled of a disgusting smell but every life form had its own unique scent which dogs could track thanks to their more advanced noises. “Well… perhaps we set up a trap? Use your stone as bait and leave it in the area where we busted the guy we interrogated” he was of course referring to the man that they had played the whole good cop/bad cop routine on. The reason why he picked out that area was because the person who originally stole Raven’s items had stolen them again from that area after they got flipped off the table so it meant that he was aware of the area and kept a close watch upon it. |

Raven rather disliked the fact of using her blade as a bait, actually she hated, loathed, was disgusted, denied it. But there was no other way as far as she could see and against her will, she agreed, "Alright..." Before she went through the door, she turned and handed the stone to Panzer, "Best if you set it up, I've already made some scenes at that place. Would be better if you could remove your helmet while you're at it since they've seen it but not your actual face. Of course, I doubt many people paid attention to you so it would be okay with it on... Might be slightly suspicious but who knows. Oh and be very gentle with the stone, for your sake; it's much harder than diamond and as you've seen, it's extremely sharp." Her gut twisted about leaving it with Panzer but she had a small feeling that he could be trusted. While walking back to the scene for the third time, Raven noticed that they were accumulating a few stares or she was for the fact. Normally she would dismiss it as it was due to the size and condition of her sword but this time, the eyes weren't looking at the sword, they were looking at her. The whole plan couldn't go on with everyone staring at her, she had to leave and take a detour. "I'm going to leave and find another way to that place," she said quietly enough for Panzer to hear and took a random turn. The buildings in the city were organized in a simple manner. Everything was divided into rectangles which made for easy navigation as there were no twisted turns and very rarely one direction. Finding her way to the thief market--as she called it-- was quite simple as it was just comprised of following one long street. Every so often, there would be an intersection where Raven would glance of to the side to look for Panzer. Sometimes she would see him, sometimes she wouldn't which was alright since they were traveling at different speeds. |

Panzer could see the facial expression of Raven twist into one of such pure disgust and disapproval that for a moment he thought she would reject his proposal which would be problematic unless of course she could offer some other idea or proposal in capturing this thief but fortunately she agreed against her own will he felt but anyway. Taking the stone off her he had to admit that her suggestion of removing his helmet and setting the trap up by himself would be a good move to make, although if he was going to remove his helmet then he may as well remove his armour but no way was he going to go that far, removing his helmet he could tolerate but not his armour. Having removed his helmet and placed it away somewhere secure he began to make his way to the thief street tightly clutching the valuable stone that Raven had given to him it might not of belonged to him but from what he knew and had guessed at Panzer assumed that it meant a lot to Raven so he could not afford to betray her trust with this object, not at all lest he forsake his vows of knighthood. He nodded in response as Raven split up from him heading down a separate alley way while Panzer made his way to the before decided destination and after a few moments of a brief march he found himself in a little side alley just off the main street, it only had one way in and out with no crowds inside it to get in the way of making chase. He put down the rock leaving it utterly in the open right in the middle of the alleyway which would be the best place to put it, somewhere obvious and easy to see which also created the dilemma of not making it too obvious yet in some situations like this one he couldn’t risk making it unobvious as that would put the entire plan and Raven’s stone at far too great a risk of being stolen or in the case of the plan itself, failing badly. Now that the trap was set though Panzer swiftly moved away into one of the side alleys that came off this alley, a sort of side side alley in a sense, confusing but you understood what I was getting at. |
