Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

There was some sort of panic coming from the streets outside. Tyf had just finished helping clean the stack of food as his current benefactor, a local shops master in the bakery business had encountered an untimely accident. With his leg in a cast and his arms suffering what would seem to be a semi-burn, he wasn't even sure if the man was still in good health to work. He was sure the doctor had told him to get plenty of rest or else it would only agitate his current wounds, but the shops master was quite stubborn as well and Tyf could only help out to make sure the kind benefactor would not suffer any more unwanted incidents, for if that happened, he might find himself looking for another job to keep himself afloat from debts and his journey expenses.

Without a moment to lose, the young nomad jumped over the open window of the kitchen area. He landed outside, his red scarf-cape trailing behind as he began searching from left to right. No doubt that he could sense a disturbance in the air. Someone was using quite a frightening magic it seems, or so the residues of magical sources flitting into the air suggests. It helped when there were a bit of a panic going on along the streets, though some of the passers-by still stayed for the gossip.

"Murder?" he uttered when he caught wind of one of the gossips as he neared the main street. And he looked up ahead where he could feel an urge luring him towards the direction. "I haven't been here that long just yet and all ready there seems to be some trouble."

He sighed before coming to a run. As much of a strange he still is in the area, not even completely memorizing the ins and outs of the city, he had already fallen in love with the place that he knew he could not simply turn a blind eye to what's happening. Of course, he felt it would be safer if he could find either Sion or Torm along the way since those were the two mages he had encountered in the area.

And it was as he rushed towards what seemed to be an explosion site that he suddenly stopped. A chill ran down his spine as he looked around. There it was again, a strange sensation that his magic begged him to try and understand. Someone was using magic or has used magic close by, and from the looks of it, it was powerful one. But who? He could try and look for the source but it could take time so he merely heightened his senses as he walked closer to where there was fire when he stopped at the other end of the long stretch of the street to spot someone moving away from the fire.

"Hey!" he called out to the black figure, quite small as well.

Destruction?

Someone was speaking Commas language in Coreopsis- were she was looking for the life dragon.. The latest detonation had been quite close to were she was, and she rushed to see what it was. She glimpsed a faint spark of black and a childlike grin. "Eric?" she muttered. He was a member of her guild. Was he the cause of all of this?

She had to be prepared for more attacks and magical battle samba that was bound to arise. She tucked herself to the wall of a building and started to channel forth considerable amounts of magical energy that sparked around her in white bolts of mathematical equations.

It was frankly confusing to the small child that was Eric that he had been tracked by Relyk - he had been aware of the Lightning Dragon Slayers presence in the city from the get-go but he had been keeping tabs on the man and knew his sense of tracking through scent -yes, he knew something about Dragon Slayers as well- was limited, only about fifteen metres. As a result he had been trying to keep out of that range entirely, in fact he was certain he had far far outraced the other man and had kept the distance far over one hundred metres at all times. It didn't matter really that he had tracked Eric, really the boy had simply been trying to avoid detection from anyone he knew because he could hardly let himself loosen up to his fullest extent if he had to worry about friends and colleagues nearby when he did so - it would hardly do to go on a rampage to find out his targets only for them to withdraw because he couldn't show his fullest powers.

But Relyk did track him, he even shouted to Eric and the boy turned, his normal sword drawn and point held low. His eyes were aglow with annoyance and the flames of the nearby burning building, and his expression grew even more sour when he caught sight of others he knew. A bird fell from the sky soon after Relyk announced himself -and Eric- an enormous green bird with a familiar blonde boy on its back. Tsk'ing softly as Yovel too revealed himself to be a player here in the current game Eric simply shook his head in annoyance, before scanning his eyes around quickly to make sure nobody else nearby was here to mess with his plans. He ignored Yovel's question at first too, as he spotted first a woman hiding not far up the street, trying to be surreptitious behind a street pole. He didn't know her though, she might have just been a random civilian... were it not for the strange thing that was covering her shoulder.

He noticed the other nearby person too, the one who was actually talking to him and, to add icing on the cake, he saw caught a glimpse of someone nearby who was also from his Guild... an older woman whom Eric remembered was named Comma. But she ducked away into an alleyway or something and Eric rounded on his two friends with blade drawn in his right hand and five more blades suddenly hovering over his left hand in an instant. His eyes were flat, mad, angry and seriously pissed and while he had no aura on his left arm any more he was still giving off killing intent - enormous amounts of killing intent that was enough to flatten anyone "weak" or the like nearby. The tip of his normal blade began to make small circles in the air as he stared back and forth from Relyk to Yovel, before he sighed and turned his back on them.

"It's nothing," he said in an annoyed voice, "Just business."
And with that he tensed his legs and jumped to a nearby rooftop, running away at a fairly even pace but still faster than he knew Relyk was capable of running - and likely faster than Yovel could without increasing his physical abilities. It really as business, Eric's business, he wanted to find out who was infiltrating the money of Fiore and he wanted to find out now.
Coreopsis was his best lead - the businesses here had only been recently aquired according to his sources so if he had managed to destroy them before they got a foothold here they'd have no choice but to show themselves, just to find more businesses.
Or so he theorised as he ran.

Though Eric was long gone, his scent lingered. That was always good, though there was really only one weakness to the whole 'tracking' someone tactic. If it rained, he was screwed. Though he finally managed to meet up with the boy wonder, but despite his intentions, the kid seemed pretty upset. He looked up, only to notice his old pal Yovel. This guy was kind of a dick, but Relyk knew he usually meant good. In all honesty, Relyk enjoyed Yovel's company. Before another word could be uttered, the kid took off. It was always awe inspiring to see such a small boy run so fast. The lightning mage couldn't even keep track of his movements, which was pretty obvious seeing how powerful the demonic black haired kid truly was.

"So, what's up Yovel, Vitz?"
Relyk said, smirking faintly as he found himself leaning against a water tower. The sky was a pretty blue, and the clouds were as white as snow. The dragon slayer lowered his gaze to the streets as he awaited an answer, only to spot an odd, new interesting face. There was a woman, hiding behind a light post. This was odd, was she actually following him? No, it wasn't possible for a non-magic user to even think of keeping up with Relyk. Well, it was.. just very, very rare. Relyk ran the calculations through his head as he adverted his gaze so that it would appear he hadn't caught sight of the woman. "Judging by that thing on her shoulder, she's no new comer to magic. Is she tracking Yovel, Eric, or myself though?" As Relyk allowed himself more time for thought, his curiosity would soon flare.

"It's been real nice catching up, but i have some business to attend to. Try to keep yourself safe pal, same for you Vitz!"
Relyk shouted as he jumped from the small building. He would find himself in the streets. He had a variety of options to pick from. He could follow the ever so pungent scent of Eric, which still lingered in the air. He could head out in search for Ryo, an old friend who he hadn't seen in a while. OR, he could find out this girl's true intentions. Option three it was, and so he casually looked around before darting off into the city, heading west.

There is no doubt that Ryo was stupid in a lot of matters, and often couldn't spot the most obvious thing in front of him but someone jumping off the side of the building and having lightning claws to slow their drop to the ground when being watched by a quite angry fire loving swordsman who was hovering in the air! Watching as Relyk got a cowboy hat and ran into a crowd, suppose he thought the hat would help him blend but this was far from any cowboy convention going on and why it would happen here of ALL places would be a more logical question to ask possibly.

Following the crazy boy till he saw Vits and Yovel come down from the skies all seeming to converge onto one location. However by the time Ryo had gotten to the location Eric himself had already taken off, leaving Yovel, Vits, and Relyk, just as Relyk would jump off the building however he wouldn't be touching the ground just yet as a flying tackle would smash into the lad as Ryo used the last power of his Imbue to literally fly into Relyk and smash into into the ground in a diagonal a good 15 meters away from the building Yovel and Vits were on. Yovel should already be able to guess what was going to happen next as the flash of flames shot by them.

As the two men crashed into the ground the street quite literally parting from the impact of the two and Ryo's monstrous strength. Before Relyk could even begin to beg or plead or heck even try to explain what was going on, Ryo would straight up start trying to headbutt him. He would then proceeded to still stay on top of him grab his head and head butt him once more before he could even react from the first powerful headbutt. Ryo's goal was to knock out the lad before he even had time to wipe out any of that strange magic or spout off about being some great sort of slayer or something of the sort.

Eric moved away even as he felt the familiar presence nearby of the one man he had been wanting to avoid in this city, the man known as a "Wildfire" to his colleagues and as a "Damn Menace" to those in Eric's Guild now - his colleague, friend and former-associate Hasaki Ryo. He felt the presence behind him as he turned -only about a block away for the moment- and saw Relyk leap into the air like some kind of jackass only to get tackled in mid-air by a red-haired stripe of something.
"Good," Eric said to himself, reaching up to stroke the head of Jessica that had just now poked its way out of the back of his collar and put her head onto his shoulder in a lazy way, "At least that should draw his attention for the time being, I'll explain to him what this is all about when it's done."
"Then we sssshould hurry up, dear one," the snake hissed to him as he turned back to continue running, "Lesssst you actually make him want to fight you."

Eric laughed at that comment, arriving at a rooftop near the scene of his second attack not long after and falling silent as he saw three people standing in front of the still-smouldering wreckage, surveying it without speaking but their hands flicked back and forth in strange shapes, almost like a form of sign-language between them. Creeping forward slowly, silently, Eric got to the edge of the roof and etched their faces into his mind, especially when they finally turned around into a little triangle and he got a good look at them all. Even as he analysed them and remembered them he realised what was the most odd about them - their clothing. He had been all over Fiore, literally to every town and city and place in the country and he had never seen clothing made like that, it was as outlandish as the clothing in Taiji had been but more... straight-lined. It was Western somehow...

The first man was of a moderate height and was quite young, dressed in what was essentially a silver suit and with bright silver hair -and from what Eric could see, silver eyes as well- and he remained silent as the other two spoke about how their 'operations had been compromised somehow'.
The second man was taller than the first, older too, and had a tattoo of a '69' on one cheek as well as a strange black tattoo under his eyes. He had short spiky black hair and a strange way of dressing in some kind of black outfit and on his back were strapped two scythes. He was the one who spoke about the 'compromised operations [they] had in Fiore'.
The third member of the group, a very tall woman was dressed in an elaborately long flowing red-and-patterned dress and she carried a short red sword in one hand, her fingers idly toying with the hilt as she spoke most vehemently about 'finding their enemy' and dealing with him'.

It didn't take them long to reach a decision though really, they decided to split up and view each of the scenes of attacks personally, with the silver-haired man and the woman leaving in opposite directions. It seemed Eric's first target then was the tall man with black hair, and as he smiled to himself and moved to rise up his eyes widened as the man vanished. Nobody was that fast surely, Eric would have spotted them move! Even as he heard a soft 'swoosh' behind him he rolled thankfully to one side, a heavy 'thunk' into the roof where the scythe had stabbed into the bricks where he had been laying and the black-haired man cursed slightly as he missed.
"Not bad kid," he said as Eric righted himself, his face and voice both expression- and emotionless as he looked at Eric, "Now, if you don't tell me why were you watching us I'll have to kill you, ok?"

Relyk was in mid air when he noticed the fast approaching scent. His options were literally limited as each thought wasted every last precious second. It was too late though, as Relyk fell to the ground. He rolled with the swordsman, only to come to a complete stop. As he looked up, three large talons bursted out in attempts of propping the man off of his body. Once free, he would jump up and run towards a nearby structure. As he bent his knees, he would kick off in a powerful jump. Two more talons shot out from each hand, the end of the lightning tendrils forming into two large hands. The magical digits opened wide, gripping the roof top of a near by building. The two talons then shrank, pulling the slayer to the roof top, which must've been four stories tall. The three still exposed talons that erupted from Relyk's chest were still hovering, protecting Relyk's rear. Relyk turned to face the swordsman on the streets below, his brow raised. " Geeze Ryo, I would've been fine with a simple 'hey'". Relyk shouted, crossing his arms. His bright blue eyes pierced deep into Ryo's own, the slayer a tad but curious. "I was meaning to say hello, but what's with the aggression?.." Relyk questioned, eyes narrowing.

The Slayer didn't take his eyes off of Ryo, he was too powerful to ignore. Well, he was the only one to pick Relyk as a target. Yovel was a good acquaintance, but Relyk didn't want to rule him out either. To run would be meaningless, so his best bet was to try and survive. "You smell like an oak tree Ryo, should get something done about that. Pretty distinct in a city environment." Obviously no one had control over their scent, and how others perceived it. With a small breath, Relyk's talons would start to submerge back into Relyk's body, waiting to protect their master. Luckily Ryo hadn't launched a huge ass attack, if anything, the talons only acted as a buffer. They separated Ryo from Relyk's body, and the added mobility was nice to.

Meanwhile, something was going on and immense magical power levels could be felt. For a brief second, it demanded the attention of Relyk as his skin crawled. "What.. Is this?!.. " the Slayer shouted, turning to the direction of Eric. But they weren't just by Eric, they were starting to surround Relyk, Ryo, and Yovel. Though for some reason, these foes were vastly different in mentality and motive. More than likely, men looking to take advantage of the chaos. It was eerie as Relyk looked back to Ryo, wondering if he noticed the seemingly untimed attack that was about to occur.

[OOC: Sorry, Ryo's orders.]

San was usually not one to partake in affairs like these - he wasn't even in Coreopsis half the time, and even when he was, he usually kept to himself and his business, drowning out the actions and words of his fellow guild mates through continuous consumption of- well, whatever ale or the like Tartaros had on hand. It didn't matter. He couldn't get drunk either way.

But this time, San found himself not walking, but running out of the guild hall, his new gourd in hand and lacking both his sword and his two companions; the news was too sudden, sounded like too great an emergency, and, to be frank, the undead summoner had seen Ryo's reaction. Something in his undead gut told him that it would be prudent for himself to partake in- well, whatever this madness was. So of course, he left the guild hall immediately after the Wildfire had departed, instructing his golem and mountain spirit to remain within the guild hall to protect it, and even handing his blade over to Kuilei for safekeeping. If trouble was brewing out, he didn't want to get caught as 'the guy with a big sword on his back'.

In any case, following Ryo should have been easy enough a task - "Follow the explosions, go after the place with the most fire," he muttered to himself as a reminder. Too easy. Fireballs in Coreopsis were too noticeable, even San couldn't get lost trying to follow it. But, at some point, the Tartaros mage slowed down to a normal walk, moving forwards at a steady and decent pace towards the predicted area of conflict - that is, wherever his ears could pick up on. Someone was shouting nearby, or at least, several dozens of meters away. More than enough. With all the discretion of any decent-minded summoner, San soon looked around and entered the nearest building, where of course other people were also hiding in.

Looking around, San found himself inside a bakery, with around half a dozen people standing around nervously munching on bread, most of whom were too busy talking to one another to really notice him. "Now, a simple matter of asking what is going on - Ryo is somewhere near here. Should be near enough for me to reach him." He quietly, serenely purchased a pair of egg custards, and munched on one of them slowly while waving his free arm. "Ciar, come to me."

Moments later, a child burst through the doors of the bakery, an excitable young lad with golden eyes and white hair. "Gramps, Gramps, did you see what's happening outside?" The boy asked, his eyes shimmering; San wasted no time with instructing his summon. "Go out. To the left. Keep going. I recommend running as fast as you can, it may get dangerous out there. Call out to whichever figure you see is on fire or has fire on him. Address him as Ryo. Tell him that I am here, ask if he needs anything to be done." With a happy nod and a quick "Okay, Gramps!" The young summon-child ran right out the door, much to the confusion of the other people in the bakery. San simply continued to munch on his egg custard. "And they say summoning is a terrible magic. Tch. Well, at least if Ryo fails to realize that he is my summon, I can send someone else. The poor child, he cannot possibly stand against the fire." He looked out the glass wall, awaiting the hopeful return of his summon.

Sooner or later Ryo would hear a loud shout from the voice of a young boy, and, if he bothered to look for him, would find a snowy-haired child hiding behind a hot dog stand. "He-llo, are you Ryo?" the young one shouted. "If you are, Grandpa San wants me to tell you that he's here, and wants to know if you need anything! A cup of ale, some flowers, a bit of tea? Just shout it out to me!"

Steel your mind. Run on instinct.
Within moments of Shorai having taken her ‘hiding’ spot on the side of the street another figure showed up on the scene. At the other end of the short street and on the other side of the group that Shorai was watching was the figure of …. A man? From the distance between them Shorai wasn’t quite sure if it was a man or not but she was leaning towards that it was, were they with the little kid and the man on the bird’s back? Suddenly and without warning the little boy that seemed the centre of everyone’s attention unleashed a powerful magic, it wasn’t something Shorai had been expecting nor would she have thought could come from one so young in appearance. For a woman that hadn’t been the least bit scared by everything around her the time mage took a turn for the opposite as the magical force slammed into her like a tonne of bricks. It was the kind of force that would move her physically but that didn’t mean she feel it collide with her; what on earth was happening?!

Suddenly Shorai’s body felt cold, freezing cold to be exact. Her skin crawled with goosebumps as every hair on her body stood on edge and her heart was beating so fast and so hard she thought it might very burst from her chest at any given moment. Fear; immense fear had struck the innocent young women and it wasn’t anything fleeting either. The feeling didn’t fade an inch despite Shorai trying to tell herself that everything was alright, she felt as though she had just been thrown into a pit filled with venomous creatures and sprayed with something to make them focus her. Mushu had been hit by the same overwhelming feeling of fear and with his claws digging into Shorai’s shoulder the tiny dragonette bundled himself up and hid underneath her long, white hair. The mages around here were nuts in their power levels and he knew that Shorai couldn’t hope of standing up to them if they attacked her, not now she’d lost all her power.

Luckily though the small boy that was creating the menacing aura left the area via a rooftop and although Shorai was amazed at his speed and agility the mage found herself only thinking about how much better she felt with him out of sight. A gentle warmth returned to her body and it felt as if the sun had just come out of hiding,; she wasn’t scared anymore. She probably should have been though since she now knew how powerful the mages in the area were but as Shorai always was; why be scared when they aren’t going to hurt you? As Shorai straightened up and relaxed Mushu found himself able to do so as well and without the fear pounding into him the small creature took the air once more in order to see where the small mage had gone. He was going to have to keep an eye and ear out for that one if he was going to keep Shorai safe.

With the small mage gone and everything back to normal as far as mood and atmosphere went Shorai’s eyes wandered back to those remaining. The person (Tyf) at the far end of the street was still there as she could see their vague figure, the man on the giant bird was still in the area and………………… OH NO WHERE WAS THE MAN SHE HAD FOLLOWED?! Far be from me and most likely even Shorai herself as to why she was so interested in the mage she’d seen jump from a building but she couldn’t help but find herself interested in his magic. She’d not seen anyone using magic like it before and she got the feeling that something was truly ‘different’ about him, this meant she was going to try and find out what. Shorai’s eyes darted around and quickly spotted the blonde mage with the hat again as he leapt from yet another building, seriously what was with him and jumping from buildings? This time however the ‘bungee’ like jump was anything but smooth as another mage slammed into him, that wasn’t very nice!

Shorai couldn’t see the specifics of the scuffle that was underway between the two men from where she was standing and although she probably was safer staying away the mage found herself moving closer despite Mushu’s sounds of warning. Stopping roughly one hundred metres from the fight that was occurring between then two Shorai stood at the corner of a building peering out from behind it, now she could see what was going on and hopefully find out why she felt as though that blonde man was indeed different to other mages she’d met. Why were the two fighting anyway?

A precarious event was currently taking in place inside of the guild hall of Coreopsis where it seemed as though that someone had decided to turn on the news of the guild to check in and see how things were going on out side in the oh-so-great and grand world of Earth-Land. This bystander however was unfortunate to be changing the channel while one certain soul was watching his daily dose of sadistic horror shows for that day and hogging the T.V while the other C-rank and D rank mages glared daggers (figureatively and literally) at the back of his head in envy, since the one sould who could control the television through the remote could control life and time itself, true story bro. The problem with this though was that with some of the explosions going on outside, the lower ranking guild membes were gaining a patriotic streak and looking out of the guilds windows quickly and becoming antsy, most turning to the one with the remote to stop watching young women in their twenties being killed by cliche mosnters such as the swamp thing or bigfoot-Llama on the Science Channel. This was futile though since the person controlling the remote right now was Obeorn Led Zepplin and he had his hand elbow deep in some goddamn flaming hot puffs, and when a man has his arm elbow deep in a bag of flaming hot puffs, it is near impossible to move him.

"Can't we change the channel for ten seconds?!?!" One panicking guild member shouted in confusion over the chaos that was erupting outside. Other murmured in agreement as they were growing restless from the damage being done by the anomaly outside who had seemed to come out of nowhere as if it were as powerful and quick as a flash flood. To this Oberon Led Zepplin gave a sigh and stuffed his mouth with red puffs before belching up a small flame- a side effect from this brand of food. "Come on man, the monsters about to fight the robot- THATS HAPPENED IN THE LAST TWELVE DAMN EPISODES YOU'VE WATCHED!" Oberon was cut off, contemplating this, the blood mage put his finger to his chin like some old wise chinese guy before shrugging, "Really? Huh who knew..." he said before eating some more puffs and belching more fireworks out. "Oh Oh Oh! Look her face was eaten by the monster!- aww man did you see that?" Obeorn said, like a spastic school kid who had just eaten sugar for the first time. The guild groaned in annoyance before Oberon replayed the brutal attack twenty times and continued to marvel at the expertise of how the woman's face was ripped clean off. Laughing at the parts most gruesome, it was a wonder the guild had not give him a psychology workout yet.

Oberon was replaying the scene for the fiftieth time when he felt a distinct hand on his shoulder and dropped his bag of hot puffs on the floor in fear, only one man could have that kind of terrifying yet intriguing effect- and that was Master Vile, who was looking down at the young mage with a death grip on his shoulder. "Oberon vwould joo cahnge ze channel no? Come my child zis is no time for joo too be vwatching jor silly shows" Oberon hesitated and felt a large pang of pain in his shoulder which caused him to scramble for the remote and change the channel quickly to the closest news station. At first nothing of interest came on, apparently Jo-Jo the new baby panda had come out with his first birthday catalog and the annual Coreposis Kitten parade was taking place in the park but nothing substantial that had to do with what was going on outside. A few minutes later after hearing about the fashion tastes of kittens a news flash hit the scene and scenes of mages fighitng in downtown Coreopsis flooded the screen. A flash of concern could be seen across the dark mages face as he looked at the destruction going on. "Huh, that is important i guess" he said before sighing and shaking his head. Ryo was probably out there, he had better get going too.

After that the events kind of happened in a blur, Oberon exited the guild hall and donned his red clothes before looking around, he didnt really need to look hard on where to go, he simply needed to follow the screams and which way they were coming from. Oberon whistled as he walked along the streets and back alleys of Coreopsis many panicing and looking for guidance from the knights who were doing their thing. Oberon didnt really care what master Vile did, he was the master, and they were all his children. Instead Oberond ecided that it would be wise to seek out Ryo, the two of them together would make a formidable force for anyone who got n their way...Unless..."What kind of man could do something like this?" the blood mage asked himself, little did he know he would find out very very soon, for now though he walked. He walked here, he walked there, he walked just about everywhere until he saw a flash of ginger across the sky- a ginger he recognized anywhere. "Oi Ryo!" Oberon called and chased after the Ace of Tararos and their team leader, where was he going though? Obeorn frowned and quickly fell behind the fast warrior mage until he was merely looking again, god where was he going exactly? Just follow the screams buddy, follow the screams.
