Sion had a cheery grin on his face as he followed Tormoru and the new guy through the equally cheerily decorated city. He had never really been the type for excessive social contact, even with these kinds of holidays, but for some reason he was going to treat it differently this year. He knew it had something to do with that dream he had a few days ago, the dream that had prompted him to consider asking Tormoru to celebrate Christmas with him. He would ask her on a better time, though. She seemed preoccupied with buying things for Christmas herself, now.

Sion's head had already subconsciously started nodding along with the music as soon as it reached his ears. That was something he liked; music. After all, he was a musician himself. He wondered if he would be able to play some for Tormoru, and whether she'd like it. He had even written a song for her during a moment of random inspiration, but it had come out way too romantic, not at all what he had intended when he started to write. Not that it was a bad song, no, it was one of his best, but he was rather embarrassed about actually singing it for her, because as has been said before, the actual text was way too... too cuddly. Nah, if he'd ever play it with Tormoru around, he'd tactically avoid adding he made it for her.

They entered the square where the music came from, and immediately a grin spread across Sion's face. There was a large stage, where a group of musicians were playing a banging tune. Sion found his body moving more with the rhythm, though he was no good dancer whatsoever. No, the prospect of dancing wasn't what made him grin. It was the banner hanging on the side. "Open Stage". Sion did feel like playing a bit, but he was probably a bit too late.

Luckily for him, a sign was hanging on the side of the stage. "Spot 7. still open. Start" The next part were magical numbers, a seeming countdown as to how much time was left. Five minutes. So they had an open spot in five minutes, huh? That was his sign. He turned to Tormoru and said: "Sorry Torm, not going to join in with the dancing. Just wait for a few minutes, I've got a surprise for you!" And with that, he turned and disappeared into the crowd.

One minute passed. Two, three, four, five. Tyf was dancing like a nutter, and half the crowd was following him, but after a while the red-haired woman's song died down. "It's been great playing for you guys, hope you enjoyed it!" she said, and the crowd cheered loudly. They enjoyed it, that was clear. Showered by cheers and the occasional rose, she and the band exited stage right. An announcer spoke through a magical sound amplifier.

"Alright! I hope you all enjoyed Fiery Amber! Such a sweet girl, and a killer voice! Now, our next participant is a new one, and he signed up juuuuust now to take the place of the Patriots, who, due to an incident, could not be part of the event today! Please give an applause forrrrrrr Sai Devons!" he shouted.

Followed by these words, Sion walked onto the stage with a guitar hanging over his shoulder by a strap, followed by the same band that had helped Amber. His outfit was slightly different, but what was more interesting was that he seemed entirely unarmed. That was unusual. "Hello Coreopsis, are you all feeling it tonight?" he spoke into the microphone, raising a hand. People cheered all throughout the crowd, obviously still hyped up by the previous group, and out of curiosity for this strange newbie. "Amazing! Wow, lots of people!" he grinned then stepped back a little, putting his hands on the right places. "But what am I talking about, you guys want music!"

He counted down from four, then started to play. A song he wrote about his home, about his parents, about how he was a social reject and learned that the land of the pariah was where he belonged. The band played along perfectly, probably through some magical means, and the crowd was rocking out. All the while, Sion's face was set in a wide grin while he sang, constantly scanning the area until he found Tormoru. He winked at her, as if to say that more was to come...

As Tormoru started dancing she realised that Sion had disappeared, where had Fancy boy gone off to, he was probably chatting up some poor innocent girl who had just come to watch the Fiery diva on stage. Oh well, not as if she cared, she was still in a mood with him after he ruined most of her plans for a nice relaxing day shopping. But there was a silver lining, with silver like hair and tanned skin. As the music went on Tormoru simply closed her eyes. Moving her feet in a fluid motion, raising her arms up and rolling her shoulders every know and then. Yes, she may have looked a bit like a hippy, but the music moved her. She loved all kinds of music, something that could convey feelings simply through the notes performed. They could be declarations of love, songs to remember someone by, even ones to lift your spirits. The one sung right now however simply calmed, the mellow tone of the woman's voice put all Tormoru's worries at ease, though she didn't have many at the moment.

Then the song finished, a irritated scoff came from the purple haired girls mouth. She was enjoying that, what imbecile was coming on to follow that, it'd be hard, especially since it started with a rocky beat. However this wasn't an exactly upbeat song. A tormented voice came over the speakers, one that sounded all too familiar. For as Tormoru turned round and opened her eyes she saw her Fancy boy stood up there. What the hell was he doing! Embarrassing himself maybe, which meant he was embarrassing Tartaros. Oh how she'd shoot multiple holes into him when she got her pistols back. The weirdest thing was the fact he winked at her. What the hell was he thinking, winking at her. Was there more to come, oh great. It wasn't that he was bad, no he was quite good, but the thought he might be singing for her made her stomach feel funny...were those butterflies?

Shaking her head as if to shake the thought clean out she had to do something to stop her from feeling this weird. Instinctively, and also spitefully she grabbed Tyf's hand, pulling him close and wrapping her arms around him. Placing her head on his chest she swayed side to side as if they were at a school dance. Not caring what others thought, not caring what Tyf wanted, not caring what Sion would feel. Though what was happening now was..quite nice...

The night could never have been more perfect. A little dancing to the nostalgic tune of the people, too nostalgic that it brought back memories of his people, that Tyf was showing off moves of his tribal kin. It was satisfying to know that the people about them found it quite amusing as well. An interlude of calmness proceeded after the wake of the festivities over the dancing, to which he found himself a slight reprieve before joining Torm and Sion again. No, it seemed they were one member less at the moment. He looked around and saw no sign of Sion but Torm was not quite alarmed by it so he figured it was just normal or that the other white-haired man had gone off to the John's.

"This is city is quite fun. I like how their jovial spirits could transcend through music and culture. Now I don't feel the least bit alienated by it." He commented about his short-lived happiness over the dancing before looking back up to the sky that rained with white fluff, "Of course, I suppose it will still take some time before I could get used to such a weather phenomenon." and he rubbed his hands together and blew some hot breath into them, waking up sleepy digits.

Just then, the stage was emptied from the dancers and was replaced by a band. To his surprise, the lead guitarist-slash-singer was none other than Sion himself. Sporting a rather showy outfit, the white-haired man had addressed the crowd, cheered them on and teased them for the show to come. A strum of his fingers against the chord and the interlude of calmness was replaced by another exhilarating event. Tyf couldn't help but notice how Torm looked on, probably in surprise as well but there was obvious admiration. And for him, looking at her face amidst the afterglow of the stage lights and the pure snow was magical. But the surprises were far from over as the girl had held him close and were they now swaying to the tune?

He blushed at the thought since it was the closest contact he had ever had to a woman before, except for his sisters who liked cuddling him, but still. And before he knew it he was holding her back and following her lead, leaning a bit close that he could smell the scent of her hair. "This city is lovely indeed." he ended up saying without much thought.

For a moment, Sion felt happy. Tormoru looked, well, not sure if impressed was the correct word, but it was as close as Sion's thought pattern could get right now. But, of course, that happiness was temporary when he saw the scene unfold in front of him. Just met, huh? he thought rather grumpily. She hadn't been treating Tyf very well when he was with them, but then again, he had always imagined things with Tormoru to go more into the 'tough love' direction. Still, there was something that felt weird inside, again that feeling that it should have been him in Tyf's place, a feeling he just couldn't lay his finger on. He had felt it before, when he had seen Tyf and Tormoru alone together. And now, too, he was confused by the pang of envy he felt.

These thoughts passed his mind in a matter of seconds, because he was still playing. He had to concentrate on the chords, the strings of the guitar in his hand, the lines, the lines! Go back to the emotional trainwreck you are, he thought. you're not a teenager who gets caught up in a string of drama. Whatever it is you're feeling now, push it back and concentrate. Lucky for him, the song was almost over. The final part was mostly him, and after that the music died down.

The crowd cheered and Sion still couldn't help but grin at their enthusiasm. He waved and said: "Thank you, thank you!" before avoiding a couple of flying flowers and then a pair of panties. He wasn't done, though. He had another song up his sleeve, one he was going to employ right here right now. Considering the scene he had witnessed between Tormoru and Tyf, he figured that there was no better time than the present. He cleared his throat, an indication that he was about to talk, and the crowd died down.

"Before I play the next song, I want to talk about it a little. I wrote it... Not too long ago, in a moment of strange inspiration." He was quiet for a moment and figured, oh well, if I'm this far, might as well say it all. "It's strange, because I wrote this for a very good friend of mine. She's here in the crowd tonight. I won't be saying any names, but she knows. So, I want to dedicate this song to her." He calmly walked over to the side of the stage and exchanged the electric guitar for a semi-acoustic one, and then returned to his old place before the microphone. "This song is called With Me."

And with that, he started to play. The crowd was quiet. All simply listened to this song, this emotional tune, dedicated to the mystery woman. Of course, said mystery woman was Tormoru. This song gave obvious hints to feelings beyond the simple friendly. Sion didn't even know he felt that way, but he did, as far as his utterly wrecked emotions could.

Dancing with Baldy was nice, the feel of another body to lean on, the heat generated in the thickness of the cold that was the season. It was nice to just be held, no strings attached and all. Granted she was doing it so that one, she could ignore Sion's randomly brought on insanity, something she was used to in a slaughtery way but not in one that made a public spectacle. Sighing to herself she closed her eyes as the song went on, gleefully wavering back and forth in the swaying motion that Tyf was taking her, she'd let him lead now since he was the gentleman. It was a nice feeling, having someone there to nestle into even if it were just for one song, it was great in this winter weather.

Then the winter wonderland ceased, the song coming to the end and her body, though unwilling, forced itself away from Baldy, she couldn't get attached, nor let him get the wrong idea, yet. He was her prey and she wasn't done playing the hunting game now. Since Sion's sickly song had finished now she shot a glare at him, ignoring most of the words he was saying to make sure she had the 'Come here now' look nailed down to the T. Sion wasn't coming off of the stage however, nor was he taking off the guitar or stepping away from the mic. Of course not, the white haired lunatic had to sing another song and dedicate it to...oh god no.

A mystery woman, in the crowd. Unless he had a whore someone else in town it could have only meant one person. "Me..." She muttered, not loud enough for many people to hear but maybe Tyf, he was standing pretty close. A mix of emotions washed over her, nausea first, accompanied by the fact that her heart was beating faster. Dry lips was the next symptom, she wasn't sure if a heart attack was coming or she just felt...no she couldn't. A flushed face looked up at Sion , making eye contact with the devilishly handsome man. Confused, that was the main emotion, why now, why her, why him. Without really thinking she did the one thing she could to leave the area immediately. With an alley way in sight she closed her eyes, the images of her and Sion acting all lovey dovey burning into the back of her skull. She didn't want that...did she? No she couldn't think of it now, not in public. Magic gathered almost instantly, this time no words were needed for her to activate her spell, as the magic inside her moved with her emotions. The purple haired girl rose in the air a couple of inches, a magic circle appearing and illuminating the faces of the people around her. Some would be shocked, some scared, she did not care, it was time for her to get the heck out of there.

In but a shimmer Tormoru disappeared moments later, her body appearing in the said alley way she had been eyeing up. Quiet, empty, and away from the public, away from Sion. It was here where she could really think, and she had plenty of thinking to do.

The slow dance ended and before Sion could the next song, Torm had placed some space between her and Tyf. A red tint washed over Tyf's cheeks as he raised a hand to partially hide while looking aside. He was probably feeling the same thing that she felt at the moment, or not. He couldn't tell but it was quite the exciting moment, something he had never experienced since he came to Fiore. Then, Sion began to speak by the microphone and riddled out about a special person in the crowd. It didn't need for Torm to speak out for Tyf to recognize that it was her the other white-haired man was talking about. And at that point, he felt slightly awkward. He could almost curse at himself for almost becoming a third wheel as it seems.

"To-" he was about to address the girl but then Torm had began to use her magic. Immediately, she rose from the ground and the people around them were in shock. Tyf was left speechless as he watched her but he quickly became aware of what's happening. His eyes were transfixed on Torm and he had urges to do something about it, but he would not. Instead, he glanced around the crowd for a moment, looked at the stage where Sion was to try and read his reaction, before looking back to Torm and watching her disappear. Immediately, there was a ruckus in the crowd.

But at that moment he heightened his senses and turned to the side. He wasn't able to track it down completely, but he could feel traces of her magical aura leading to that direction. His eyes glowed slightly before the radiance harmonized with the bright surroundings that it could not easily be discerned. By then, he gave a swift glance to the stage with a slight smirk (one that is quite a habit of his) before he ran off from the crowd to follow the trail he believed to be hers. After all, with his magic, tracking sources close by wasn't all that hard. Now, if only he could forget about the urge of wanting to disrupt the said source as what his magic is all about.

Sion's song... Had the effect he honestly expected on Torm. That was fine, he had used it more like a distraction than anything, even if he spoke the truth when saying he had made it for her. A song was a song... He'd have to find an excuse later. Something to calm her down, maybe just make it seem like he was trying to get some... Yeah, she would probably mind that latter less than knowing he actually had some kind of confusing feelings for her. Lust was nice and simple, and nothing Tormoru was a stranger to.

She had teleported off somewhere, disappeared. Perhaps that was for the better right now. As he played the emotional tune, Sion's bearing gave nothing of his current observations away, but as always, the two dark red eyes were easily tracking everything that was going on in the area where Tormoru had disappeared into nothingness. Knowing her magic, Sion didn't expect her to have teleported very far. The song was almost over when Tyf glanced at Sion. Not much to respond to in that glance, likely just observing his reaction...

And then as swiftly as the song came, it ended. Sion gave a few hasty waves of goodbye, said a few thank you's, and then left the stage as quickly as possible. Seconds later, he came bursting out of the door where he had entered, growled "Corvus Corpus", and broke up into a flock of crows before he could autograph or comment on anything. No, now there were over 20 crows, circling and quickly spreading over this small area of the city. One small crow swiftly spotted Tormoru, swooped down, and seated itself on a nearby trash can.

It looked at Tormoru for a while with its beady black eyes, observing her confused manner. In truth, Sion didn't know what to say. Well, he might as well do this as a whole. He recalled the crows to his current location, or at least nearby. Soon, about a dozen were flying over the alley and the nearby blocks. Where were the rest? Sion shifted his attention to the others. His eyes opened to a strange face, restrained wings, and a pencil in his talons. Some of the autopilot crows had been caught and used to give autograps. He sighed. He had to do this from this single crow, then.

Softly, Sion's voice spoke from the crow: "I guess I have some explaining to do, huh?"

Tormoru's back found the brick wall of the ally. Her heart pounded, half from what had happened in the crowd and half from the quick usage of her magic. It was a great tool to evade any attack, even one that was aimed at her heart. Head in hand she slowed down her breathing, why the hell had she gotten so flustered? That bastard Sion had surprised her with such a song, such a devotion to her and it was not a comfortable feeling. She hated surprises, well the ones where she was caught off guard that is. The purple haired mage stepped from the wall, turning round and thrusting her palm into it. Pain shocked down her wrist but she didn't care. Her eyes fixated on the floor, searching through her mind, no, her body for the answer about her feelings. Was there more than pure animal lust for him or was her mind clouded by the seasonal joy.

With a disgruntled moan of irritation she looked to the sky, small white flakes had continued to flow down from the midnight blue ocean above. It must have been that, the Christmas mood had fiddled with her judgement and made her think of feelings. Eugh, how horrible was that, there was no way she could be any use for the guild if she had feelings for one of them. All this present getting and decorating her house, what had possessed her to do something so- so soppy. She couldn't,no didn't have any other feelings for Sion than just partners in the guild, and acting any different would be bothersome right now.

As soon as the blue haired mages mind was made up she was snapped out of the dilemma spiral by something she had not noticed, and what it did was very unnatural! As a voice, oh so familiar and soothing, wait, no, normal, his voice was just like everyone else's right! As the voice came from the small black crow she could have sworn out ten or twenty times. Had no one taught Sion not to creep up on people, especially when they were now a weird little black bird. If Tormoru had had her pistols she would have shot him right there and then, not that it would have done anything, he was a resilient bastard after all. But as she processed what he had actually said she felt her stomach twist...oh god, what did he mean by that. There was only one thing about it, to nip it in the butt.

"Nah Fancy boy, I mean I understand, you just can't help but fall in love with me,"
She arrogantly stated, tossing her hair with her hand so it flew out of the way of her face, " but let me tell you one thing, I'm not a girl who likes to be tied down by some lovesick puppy that you'd no undoubtedly be, plus you're not my type anyway, I go for the interesting ones, such as- ah there he is!" She said in a serious tone, pointing to Tyf as she noticed him. Running over to him she grasped his forearm and turned to Sion. "Anyway he's staying at mine tonight, since he doesn't have a place to stay and all. I don't need to go back to the baker but if you want to collect what I paid for you're welcome to it, I couldn't really care now..." Her words had a hint of venom to them, but this was all she could do, for herself and for the guild.

Ahhh crap, he had surprised her. He hadn't meant to do that. Whenever he entered this form, he always forgot that he wasn't exactly normal anymore. Crows weren't supposed to talk. Tormoru knew about this spell of his, of course, but she probably hadn't seen it coming that he was going to use it. On the inside, Sion grimaced. That was a great freaking way to kick off this conversation. He just wanted to return to his original form again, and these people weren't exactly helping.

A few meters further, the crows suddenly and violently started picking at people's hands. Fingers opened and oaths sounded as the black birds freed themselves from the grips of Sion's newly-gained fans. The carrion birds circled over the alley for a little before all diving down on the one, reforming into the white-haired young man seated on a trash can. He reached down, and his hand came back with a cigarette and lighter. He lit the cigarette and stuffed the lighter back into his pocket again.

As he enjoyed his smoke, Sion was greatly unfazed by the things Tormoru said. Honestly, it wasn't like he had expected her to like, fall into his arms like some kind of swooning maiden. He just laughed to himself when she basically called him a lovesick puppy. "Really, I had expected a bird comparison or something, but not a dog one." he said with a snicker, tapping the ash off his cigarette. His stomach knotted slightly when she grabbed Tyf by his arm and said he was 'going home with her'. Sion knew what that meant. After all, it wasn't like he didn't know Tormoru. He also knew it would probably turn out to be nothing, and yet... And yet... And yet he felt that pang of envy again.

Still, he forced himself to laugh, drawing on his undercover experience so it wouldn't sound as forced as it felt. "Hey, hey, calm down, it was just a song. No need to get your panties in a bunch." he said with a grin that was about as venomous as Tormoru's words had been. He figured he might as well play it off as some friendly banter right now. "Really, I dunno how bad you can misunderstand something, but I'm not in love with you or any of that. Sure, I can see how any girl'd want to believe I'm their prince on a white horse, but sorry, that ain't gonna happen."

He took another short drag of the cigarette and tapped the ashes off again, blowing out the smoke. Outwardly, he would appear entirely relaxed, and he was definitely taking his time with talking. "Though, I do have something to ask you that I'd rather do under four eyes. Mind letting your boy toy go to give me a few moments of your oh-so-precious time?" The grin appeared on his face again, though there was something troubled lying beneath those blood-colored eyes.

"Don't get snarky with me fancy boy!" Tormoru snapped back, her one eye narrowed with irritation. Was he an imbecile? He was acting like he was the one with a-. She let a simple breath out and let go of Tyf's arm. "Fine fine, I'll let you have your say and then I'm off home." She muttered, leaving the other white haired man's side and going to Sion's. Grasping his arm now she tugged for him to follow her the other way and waited till he met her round the corner. It was private enough, she wasn't in the mood to completely indulge Fancy boy's paranoia so a quiet little side street was enough for the man that had pissed her off on this snowy night. In all the fluster and frustration she hadn't realised that she was quite cold now,the nipping winter wind numbing parts of her body and chilling her to the core. He'd better make his little chat quick, her patience was running thin.

But as he would turn the corner and want to speak, Tormoru would interject. " First off fancy boy, I'm at the end of my fuse here, maybe its just because I am cold but Im just annoyed today. Secondly, you my friend would not be able to bunch my panties even if you tried, you wouldn't even be able to get near them!" Tormoru barked, conveniently forgetting the drunken night where she'd tried to seduce him in her underwear, "and anyway you are no prince on a white horse, today you're more like the thing that comes out the other end of the horse, that's certainly not white, infact you're full of it most the time."

Tormoru didn't know why she was so pissed off and didn't really want to find out either, she'd had enough of hazy feelings lately. "So come on, get on with what you want to say!" the purple haired mage murmured with her arms folded and foot tapping. She wanted to get home, open a bottle of wine or two and drown her sorrows, not chat with the guy who'd annoyed her in the freezing cold and wait for him to smoke himself to death.
