Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Yuurei just looked at the group of people that were there. It was a group of girls, and one boy. He was lucky to be surrounded by females, but what if he were not interested in the females. Well that would make sense to why they were all together. He didn't mind at all about preference. He found it cool that people were brave enough to show what they truly were. There were those who couldn't be brave about what they were, and it really annoyed him that they would were like that.

Anyways Yuurei smiled over at the girls as they seemed to be having fun with selecting what cake they wanted. The woman who was alone was doing the same thing, and she look clueless on what she wanted. He sighed because he was going to give her a few more minutes before he could help her out. He just knew that this day was going to be long though. Still he had sell over three cakes and he was excited. He was going a good job, and hope more people would come in as these people left.

Yuurei shook his head when he saw that the group people were coming towards him. He smiled at them as it seemed like they were all approaching him. "Good afternoon how can I help you today?" he asked them with a smile on his face. He looked at them waiting for one of them to speak to them. It seemed like they all giggled except the guy. He looked embarrassed to be around them, and he chuckled a bit to figure out that he was probably a younger brother to one of the girls.

That kind of suck that he needed to be with his big sister, and go around the area with them. Still it looked like he was helping them pick out a cake earlier. He wonder why the sudden change of heart. It was probably because the way they were acting in front of a stranger right now. "We were wondering if you had any pumpkin cake in this store. It took us awhile to figure out what we wanted, but we came to an agreement on eating that for today," the man said as he smiled a bit.

Yuurei just like the sound of the cake, and began to look for one. He knew that there was one here. He had saw it when he was looking for the velvet cake the man had asked for. That was why he went over here. Yuurei had remember seeing one around here. He hope that it wasn't an imagination. The light wizard was about to give up because he though it was all in his head, and that was when he saw. He chuckled because these things were annoying to look for.

The light wizard had took the cake, and took it out from display. He put it out on the table, and smiled at the group. They were all giggling again, and he could see them not saying anything to them. Instead he could hear them whispering to each other. He wonder what they were saying, but it wasn't important to him. Yuurei wasn't going to let it bother him as he was looking at the mature person here. The man that was in the group was the person who spoke to him earlier.

"Thank you for finding the cake for us. I though we were going to have to go for an alternative for the cake if you guys didn't have it," he said as Yuurei began to to wrap the cake up. They all took money out as it seemed like they were splitting the cost of the cake. That was cool to see that they were trying to not waste each others money. He took their jewels, and handed them the cake. He watched them all leave as a group and smiled to see them having a good time.

The lady was still there looking for something that she wanted. It seemed like she was embarrassed to ask him for some help. Yuurei just smiled at her, and noticed that as the group was leaving the girls were smiling at him. He could see them waving at him as they left, and he blushed. He knew they kept staring at him, but he wasn't sure why they couldn't just speak to him about why they were doing that. It was probably why they were having a good time while they were here.

The old man placed a whole pumpkin on the table and said "Time for the pumpkin cake" he patted the side of the vegetable.

"And how are we going to turn that blasted thing into a cake?" Zeke was surprised by the size of the pumpkin.

"We'll we'll just grind it using the grinder" the old man pointed to an old machine, " "It will take about two hours to fully grind it though".

"I don't think we have the time for that, sir" Zeke replied as he examined the old machine which looked too old to even start up.

"Of course, you are truly right, then we have no choice but to use magic" The old man pulled out what seemed to be a red ladle. He waved it and the pumpkin turned into a bowl of it's own constants but it seemed to have mashed and churned several times.

"I didn't know you knew magic" Zeke said as he poured the pumpkin mash into the bowl containing cake mixture.

"Me? Goodness no, this is an enchanted item that I use to do the mashing".

"So the machine was just a joke?" Zeke put the pumpkin pre-cake into the oven and pulled out a already baked cake.

"Wasn't funny?" the old man began writing things down on a notepad.

"I have an odd sense of humor, it wasn't you" Zeke was getting better with the icing, all he needed was practice. The first couple of cakes he had iced might not be entirely satisfying, but the customers would just have to deal with it, or wait another few hours for another to prepare.

Yuurei had did all that he could do with all of the customers that had came. There were one more person in the store right now, and it seemed like she was completely out of it. He wonder if there was anything to do right now. He just chuckled a bit as she was just staring into space right now, and placed her finger on her lip. She seemed to not even be looking for anything right now. It was as if she was stuck in a deep thought right now, and she wanted someone to snap her out of it right now.

The light wizard just laughed a bit more to see if it would snap her out of that deep thought of hers. It seemed like it didn't work, and he sighed. "Hi there beautiful, are you okay, and do you need any help right now?" he asked her loudly enough that she would be able to hear him. The woman was looking up, and the voice that was directed towards her could be heard. Her eyes open wider when she heard those words because she had totally forgot where she was right now.

She looked around, and noticed that she was in the cake store. Her face fluster in red when she saw that she had did it again. She was thinking about how yummy her cake was, and how she would eat it all on her own. The young woman turned around to face Yuurei, and she smiled at him. "Ohai. Sorry about that I was just thinking about something really yummy. And...and thank you for the compliment. Have a boyfriend though, so its as far as we can go," she said with a smile on her face.

He just chuckled to hear what she said, and he blushed a bit. "I'm okay with that. I did mean what I said, but it was mainly to get your attention which worked. Still is there any cake that you're looking for today?" he asked her wondering if she knew exactly what she wanted. He didn't want to have to really give his opinion for someone who was taken. He wasn't sure if he would get her in trouble, if he put his input on something that would be share by her other half.

Yuurei watched her as she was looking around again, and then she shook her head as she was looking at him this time. "Yes I do want a cake that I saw in display. It said it was a carrot cake, and I love it. Can You bring it to me I'll buy it without a problem," she said as she had begun to take out money from her purse. He saw her pointing at what she wanted when she said that. He took it out of display, and brought it over to the woman without a problem.

It was heavy, but he knew that she would be able to carry it without too much difficulty. He placed the cake on the counter, and he noticed that she was putting it on the counter. He took the jewels, and quickly placed it inside the cashier. He had began to wrap the cake up, and pushed it towards her. She smiled at him, and took the cake, and began to walk out the door without a problem. That was good, and he noticed that someone had open the door for the woman, so she didn't have to open it herself.

"Have a nice day," he said as he noticed another customer coming in here. Yuurei smiled as he noticed that it was a man. It seemed like he meant business right now, and he wonder what was up. He could see that his man was a serious person, even though he looked really skinny. Yuurei noticed that he went to the displays of cakes first before even going to him. He was another buyer, and not some mass murder, or a burglar. That was good because it meant that there was another buyer to his list.

The two who were working in the back had been running low on supplies. The old man had asked Zeke to get the flour that was in the highest cabinet while he went out to fetch a few dozen eggs. The barrier wizard grabbed the long ladder that was in the corner as the old man left. He began climbing up. Half way, he realized that the ceiling was circular like a cone, the higher he climbed, the shorter the area around him seemed.

Once he reached the peek, he could barely touch the ceiling, there were two cabinets. Zeke didn't know which one contained the flour so he figured he would check both. The first one he opened had contained what seemed to be a tiny plumped man with a brown beard eating what seemed to be cookies. The barrier wizard raised an eyebrow as did the tiny man in return, "What in hell are you?".

"You've never seen a gnome before?" The tiny man asked as he stood up and patted his sweater; crumbs fell off him.

"I've heard of gnomes in stories" Zeke was still in shock to see such a thing.

"Well then I guess you must be dreaming or smoking something enjoyable" The gnome laughed before he jumped out of the cabinet and floated down to the floor. Zeke looked down and realized how high up he was. The distance would most likely kill him.

"Flour" He remembered; he then opened the next cabinet and found three large sacks of flour. As he try pulling them free, he fell. This was it, he was going to die. There were so many things he didn't do in life.

Then he stopped falling. He looked ahead of him to see the gnome gesturing his hand, "You're welcome" he said before he vanished. Zeke collapsed on the table with the sacks of flour falling on him. One of the bags burst open, leaving him all white.

-Ding-

Another cake was done. Zeke walked over to the two ovens to realize it was the ten layers that were done, he cursed knowing he had to pull all of them out by himself.

Yuurei was looking at the man who was looking at the display of the cakes. He wonder what he was going to get right now. There was a lot of different cakes that he could have asked for, and he wonder what he was going to get. There didn't seemed to be anybody who would be coming in right now. That was sad because he wanted more people to come in. He had sold a lot of things, but he needed to sell more. It was for the future of his guild, and he knew their reputation would be better after this.

The man with the green bandana just waited for the man to finish on his decision. He knew these things take time, but he wanted to see more of these cakes. When the owner came back he wanted to be able to show that their shop was in good hands. Future jobs would be sent to the Fairy Tail guild if it was like that. The light wizard wonder how Ezekiel was doing right now in the back. He could hear constants dings coming there, which meant that he was doing good when it came to baking the cake.

He just smiled because he didn't need to run around the cashier, and get the hell out of this shop. That was a good thing for him right now. He just looked at the man who was looking at the display, and it seemed like he was ready to get what he wanted. Yuurei noticed that he sighed when he approached him. He wonder what was wrong to him, and he just waited for him to say something. The man stopped as he looked at Yuurei, and he just smiled at the man that was behind the cashier.

"Hi there I was wondering if you guys had vanilla cake. I was thinking about getting something else, but I decided that it was good enough to get just that. Sorry to have you watch me looking for something to decide something so simple," he said as he was embarrassed to be here for awhile just to come up with something so simple. He just smiled as there was no problem, and trying to figure out what you wanted. He just chuckled a bit after that because he found it funny.

"You don't have to worry about that. It was good that you had time to think about what you really wanted. You don't want to buy something, and then regretted later on now," he said as the man smiled at him. The light wizard had moved towards the glass, and pulled out the many vanilla cakes they had, and just wrapped it up for the man as it seemed like he was taking out the cash. The light wizard took his money, and then open the cashier right away.

Yuurei just got the money that he needed to get back from the jewels he had given him. He handed him the change, and the man smiled as he walked away from him. That was when three people came in right as the man was about to leave the shop. It seemed like none of them new each other, but looks could be deceiving. The man just left the shop, and now he was there with three more people. That was good because he didn't want to look around an empty shop.

Yuurei smiled because they were all going in different direction. It seemed like none of them new each other, and he just chuckled because he was right. Now he was waiting for his next customer to come to him. He was just in the move to be able to sell more things right now. The day was going well, and he didn't even know what time it was right now. He just knew that he was making progress for the store he was working in.

Ezekiel had pulled out all ten layers that was to be the wedding cake; he placed them all throughout the kitchen table, leaving barely any room for any of the equipment. With the lead baker gone, he had no choice but to go by the book. He flipped open the cookbook and scanned through the pages until he met with the most basic looking wedding cake, or most common by what magazines present.

The main part of the cake, the taste, the filling, the cake itself was done, but it was the decoration and the icing that presented it, which was stupid by what Zeke believed; presentation was enjoyable only when the taste matched it. He placed white icing ontop and on the sides of each layer. After that, he pulled out a white bag at the corner of the room that read "Decorations" on it.

It had taken Zeke a bit of time to find the stands that would keep the layers above one another. The widest at the bottom, the thinnest at the top. Doves were placed on each layer, at the top were the usual man figurine dressed in black and the woman figurine dressed in white, unless... He shook off the thought, he had no proof if the couple were the same sex, so he would have to use his common sense.

The cake was done after an hour of preparations and reviewing through the book. The old man returned after a half hour. What Zeke questioned was that the head baker only returned with one dozen eggs, "Where did you go?"

"A couple of block down to my most reliable store" The old man sat on a stool to relax.

"One dozen eggs? Doesn't seem reliable"

"Don't smart mouth me , boy" The two began packing away cakes; the wedding cake was to be placed in the front to save trouble and time.

"Hey, Yuurei" Zeke slowly walked to the front and across the area to place the wedding cake at the windowsill.

Yuurei was waiting for one of the people that were looking around the area for their cakes. It seemed like it was a bit harder for them to decide on what they wanted. He just looked at them, and sighed because he wanted to sell some of these cakes already. It wasn't fun to do this, but it was good to know that you would get somewhere by doing this. He knew that he, and his friend would be rewarded for doing their share of work in this place. He smiled because that was good, and it was why they took this quest.

The light wizard just smiled as he noticed that there all trying to get their priority straight before they came to him. He noticed something right now. It was the fact that his friend had arrived at the front of the area. Yuurei smiled when he saw that his friend was covered a bit with flour. That was quite funny, and he wonder what had happen to him in the back of the place. They were baking cake there, and it looked like he had messed up while doing his job as a baker.

There was a wedding cake though, and it seemed like his friend was doing a great job. He just smiled and he could hear his friend greet him. That was true they haven't saw each other for a while today. They came together, but they were separated as they both had to do their own thing. It was all for the sake of getting their quest done with. He nodded his head at his friend as he saw him putting the wedding cake in the display. It seemed like it was waiting for its owner to come pick it up.

"Hey there Ezekiel. I see things are going well in the back with you. Why all the flour on you?" he asked his friend as he noticed that one of the customers were heading towards him. He looked at the man, and smiled at him. He wonder what he wanted from the man, and it seemed like he was a bit confused on what he wanted. "I would like that last peach cake there," the man spoke up waiting for his cake to be given to him.

Yuurei just smiled at him, and moved towards the display were the peach cake was. He took the cake out, and moved it over towards the man. He placed it on the counter, but he waited for the man to give him the jewel that he was waiting for. The man smiled because he knew that he wasn't going to get his cake without the payment. He took the money out, and then handed it to Yuurei. "Thank you, now wait a minute," he said as he began to wrap the cake up.

He handed the cake to the man, and he smiled at Yuurei. He felt like this man was going to walk out of this store without paying. That wasn't going to happen because he was around here. The light wizard just chuckled as he was probably going to go and tell the man that he was going to give the money back later. He just looked at Ezekiel as he was wondering what his friend was going to say to him.

As Zeke was propping up the large wedding cake on display, Yuurei called to him; nearly reacting to turn around, the cake nearly toppled, but the wizard caught it in time. After it was properly set, he turned around to see that Yuurei was busy with a customer, he guessed he'll wait until the transaction was done before he could answer the question.

Zeke looked around and noticed a good number of displayed cakes have been sold. He nodded with satisfaction and pride. The two of them were completing this job well, regardless who had the easy task and who had the other. As the customer left, Zeke went up to the register and patted his shirt, causing the flower to disperse slightly and gather around the two wizards.

"Everything is going well, I believe we are nearly done, I'm not sure, I lost count; as for the flour" Zeke looked down at himself to see he was a mess, "Well when you work with your hands, you will always get dirty". He gave his friend a smile before returning to the kitchen.

Zeke cursed himself as he realized he had lost his train of thought. The baker was there waiting for him as he read a cooking magazine, "Wonderful, let us continue our baking"

"No break?" Zeke tried not to whine.

"You took your break when I went to the store" The baker said lightly. Zeke held his tongue back and endured the thought of his nonstop work. The baker pulled out the list and continued on. The next on the list was a vanilla birthday cake with a fancy design. Zeke cursed, but he couldn't stop; if he didn't get pass this cake, then it was pointless to come here in the first place. They prepared the batter.

Yuurei looked at his friend come towards him when the guy had left. It seemed like he was waiting for the person to leave before he decided to do something. That was when he noticed that his friend had began to pat himself, and making the flour that was on him going around him. He moved away as he didn't want to get that on him. He wasn't in the back with them, so why would he get dirty for it. He just looked at him, and just smiled ay his friend because it wasn't something that bother him.

He heard his friend speak up to him as he was telling him about how he was doing in the back. That was good to know, and he was just happy that his friend making cakes without a problem. The light wizard was impressed with the wedding cake that he seemed to have made. It seemed like they were close to finishing making all the cakes that they needed to make. That was good, and he just knew that he was about close to sell more than ten of the cakes that were surrounding him right now.

He smiled at his friend as it seemed like he was getting his hands dirty because he was trying his best to make what he could. That was good to know, and he watched his friend go to the back. His attention right now was to see to his customers. He wasn't sure who was going to need his help, but he was here for that. There were two people that were left in the store, and he wonder who would be the next person to come to. The last two customers were females, and he just stood behind his cashier waiting for them.

He just watch the females moving around each other, and just making humming noise as if they weren't able to figure out what they wanted for their even. That was when one of the females came up to him. That was good because he wanted to continue his sell, and get this thing going. He smiled at the lady coming to him, and he wonder what she was going to ask for. There were so many different kinds of cakes, and he just stood calm and decided to ask her what she wanted.

"Good afternoon. How can I help you today?" he asked her because he felt like that was the only thing he could say to her. She smiled as she waved at him. To her it seemed like he was a really nice man. "I'm here looking for a strawberry cake. Do you guys have any of that?" she asked. It seemed like she was looking for that, but she couldn't find it. That meant it was his task to search for the cake, and satisfy his customer.

The light wizard just walk towards the display area, and began to move the cakes around trying to read the labels right now. There were peach, velvet, and every other cake in here. Still he couldn't find any strawberry cake. He sighed because he was about to say something, and he noticed the cake right there. It was in his face, and he quickly grabbed it before something decided to go wrong with the cake. Yuurei moved it out of the display, and closed it as he walked over to the woman.

"Here it is. It seemed like we are running out of these cakes, so my friend in the back would have to make a few of these," he said as he put the cake on the counter, and waited for the woman to take her money out. She was happy to see that her cake was there, and she began to take out her money without any problems there. He just waited, and grabbed the money that was being handed to her. He was getting the change for her, and she just giggled a bit.

"You can keep the change. That is for helping me, and checking for me. People are that nice all the time. It usually they don't have it if we don't see it," she said waiting for him to pack it up. Yuurei nodded as he was okay with the extra money, and just began to pack the cake. When he was done he handed her the cake, and she nodded as she walked away from him. It looked heavy for her, but there was nothing he could do about that because he had to stay here.

"Have a nice day, and come back soon," the light wizard said as he looked at the last person that was here. It seemed like his day was coming to an end soon, which was good. He hope that his friend had made enough cake for this shop to keep going when they were gone.

They popped in the birthday cake into the oven. The baker asked Zeke to check up on the front to see what else they need to bake since the day was passing by, the display cakes might have been selling, so the barrier wizard did as he was asked. He poked his head out of the doorway and noticed Yuurei was selling what seemed to be a strawberry cake.

"Strawberry" Zeke returned to the baker.

"Then we'll work on strawberry then" the baker said as he pulled out a bowl of strawberries from a cabinet. They added half the bowl's contents into the leftover batter and beaten and mixed them until the mixture was a lighten color of the strawberries.

"Wouldn't this be red velvet?" Zeke asked.

"Red Velvet and Strawberries are different" The baker said as he slid an empty pan to Zeke.

"Oh, then what is Red Velvet cakes made of?" Zeke asked as he poured the mixture into the pan.

"Red Velvet" The baker went back to his magazine. Zeke stood staring at the baker for a moment before putting the pan into the oven. Note to self, look up Red Velvet.
