Spirit of Fire let out a low roaring sound through its mouthless head as its gaze followed the man. The man, limber for his age, lept across the area with great skill and acrobatics. The rain not only was irritating the man with its burning, but the rain also weighed down the spores he had, in pouches and bottles around his belt. The man leapt across the path of the clearing and jumped onto the roof of a nearby building. Following the man with his eyes, Hao turned to his summon in command. "Spirit of Fire! Blaze Barrage!" he commanded, and his large elemental guardian responded with a sound of a roar and its eyes glowing. Several balls of fire came into existence around the behemoth. With a throw if its large arms, he sent the fireballs shooting out. They had a homing effect so they would follow the target but just enough to avoid collateral damage as the buildings were around. The old man lept again, but the fireballs collided in the air below him in mid air, the blast of heat sending him spiraling from the impact. "Foolish children!" he snarled as he took a vial of powder from his pocket. "Sleep!" he yelled and tossed it to the two wizards to try and make them sleep at close range if the bottle were to smash open at them. |

Aoi watched as Hao's flaming spirit unleashed another move, shooting more fire at the man. Aoi had to finish this fight quick she had already used her magic earlier and such continued and constant use would start to take toll on her body soon. She only had a bit more time before her rain spell would give and dissipate. She leaped back as the flame spirit delivered its move, as not to get hit by it. Then she continued forward, the rain pouring down on her yet she was still bone dry. For most fighting in a pouring rain would be a bit difficult for it would impair a persons senses, but for Aoi it didn't do anything but make her feel more at home, calm, and skilled. Thought the old man seemed as though he had no problem fighting in it either. Upon further notice the acid rain would begin to take its toll, the old man would soon notice his powder being melted away, along with his clothing and even his skin giving him a few first degree burns. Aoi would then rush forward with her blade in her sheath as the man counter attacked by throwing two bottles. Whatever it was it didn't seem good to let it get near if the old man was throwing it. Aoi would grab the handle of her katana and drew it out of the sheath. As the blade drew out of the sheath a swirl of nearby air could be seen forming and swirling around the blade, and as Aoi slashed down the air would be unleashed in the shape of an ark knocking back the bottles and what was in it towards the old mans position. |

The old man reacted to the girl's moves with good reflexes despite his age and the rain down upon him. Though the rain began to have a burning sensation on him, he began to slow down a bit. The combine assault on him was a bit more than he anticipated. Still the bottles of spores he threw came back on him, he gave a sweep of his arms. The spores in the air obeyed his will, moving as if in the winds. "Foolish," the old man replied. "My magic allows me the ability to control airborne pollens. In short you hasten to your own demise." With that he threw his arms forward to the girl to use the pollen against her. To put her to sleep. While the rain did dampen it, it was still enough to put a regular person to sleep. As the spores charged forward, Hao saw it and took action. "Spirit of Fire!" he commanded and the giant elemental obeyed. The elemental got in front of the blast of pollen and struck it. Fire crackled around the elemental as his heat hit the pollen. "Ahahahaha!" the man bellowed. "Sleep giant, sleep!" However as the pollen drifted around the large elemental. It didn't move or step. It just stood there, unmoving and in attention. It was unaffected by the spores. "What?! How!" the man yelled in fury. "Elementals don't sleep," Hao commented simply with a grin on his face that one would consider creepy for his calm demeanor. "In the end my summons are constructs made out of my own mana. They are spirits without physical form or traditional senses than humans. While your powder would affect regular humans, my spirits don't fall into that category." With that, Hao gave an almost evil glare to the old man, his patience at its end for him. "Spirit of Fire! Attack!" With a loud sound from the giant, the elemental lunged forward to attack, also giving Aoi the opening she needed. |

Aoi watched as the old man dodged her movies. He was very limber for his age doing it with such ease but non the less she had achieved her goal she knocked back the vials of sleeping powder the man had and it didn't reach her so it did its job. She watched and maneuvered as the old man and the spirit began to fight. As they exchanged moves and bits of commentary passed the spirit began to have the upper hand, the boy had a cocky and high amount of ego in his words and actions. As Hao's spirit lunged into attack Aoi jumped over its large hand as it swung and got within range of the old man. She had her sheath in her left hand blade in her right. As the man attempted to punch at her she blocked it with her sheath, with a quick land on the ground recovering from her earlier jump she slashed downward and vertically with her sword as she stepped forward in the old mans direction, and would now be at the mans side. As he blade swung down and came back to her side she flipped her blade around and then attempted to slash once more horizontally and upward. Her sheath would now be back at her left waste in the case that she had to use it block again. |

The sword was true to its mark and the man was hit. Between the attacking spirit and Aoi's blade, he had no move to counter and the spirit's firey body made his pollen useless. With a shout, the man got hit and fell back, clutching his side the sword struck. It was a good cut. Not life threatening but kept the old man down, unable to counter. He clutched his side, blood dripping from the wound. "Damn... you kids are stronger than I gave credit for." the man spoke. Hao slowly walked over to the old man, now clearly down for the count. "Okay, sir," Hao said almost calmly as he stood before the man. "The way I see it, you have three options. One, you get cut in half by my katana friend here. Two, eaten by Spirit of Fire. Or three, remove the enchantment on the town and face whatever punishment they have in mind for what you did. Sound good?" His tone was a bit too care free to be a serious opinion but there it was. Hao was a bit odd that way in the end. |

Aoi watched as Hao became a bit over confident as the old man had taken a hit. He began to speak and preach to the man as if it was over but something told Aoi it wasn't not quite yet. The old man was limber, fast and strong those few hits wouldn't take him out. Not that easily. She readied her katana for a counter attack but her rain spell was finally begging to fade, and the exhaustion began to kick in. The dark clouds in the sky would began to disperse and fade and the rain would slowly began to slow. It was only a little bit of time now before the spell would completely stop. Her breathing was a bit heavy but her eyes focused and aimed at the old man. She dug her foot into the ground thinking of pivoting off it, and trying to lop off his head before he got the chance to counter attack but her conscious tried to prevent it. Desperately struggling to maintain some form of humanity and sanity. Not trying to succumb to the evil within her, though just the site and smell of the blood on her blade was almost enough to make her relapse. |

What Aoe didn't know was her rain alone was undoing the magic the old man had placed upon the town. As each drop of rain dropped, the pollen that had been among the town's people began to dissipate and remove the noxious effect it had. The sounds of groans and groggy voices began to pop up among the small village, coming back to life with restful gazes and wondering what was happening. Hao observed the area, seeing people slowly coming too. "Well, looks like things are clearing up. Perhaps that is your answer, eh old man?" Hao commented as he knelt down to him, and took the herbs from the man disarming him as Aoe kept her sword poised in the event of an attack. Luckily the man didn't fight back. His plans were foiled, along with his resolve. He had his head low, clearly no longer able to fight. Hao soon saw the hesitance in Aoi's attitude. He wondered what was happening and if she was trying to attack him even when he was clearly defeated. "Do you really see it nessisary to waste more energy on a villain with no more ability to fight? Put your energies elsewhere, I say," Hao suggested putting a hand to comfort her on her shoulder. Hope she would hear his advice, even though he didn't really care for the fate of the man before them. |

Aoi stood and watched with her blade pointed at the man, her gaze struggled to stay on him as the sounds of the towns people could be heard in the distance. Most would awake to wondering whats happening, even some of the more over dramatic ones screaming in fright of what was seemingly unknown to them, that or they could have just had a nightmare. Beads of sweat would race down the side of her face and drop along side the last bits of rain as they hit the pavement. Heavy breathes could be heard coming from her as she struggled to hold her spell in tact till all of the pollen could be washed away. She wanted to try and rid some of the evil in her by doing something good, but resolve wavered as her last bit of rain had fallen and faded away. She wondered why she was trying so hard to maintain such a sanity, such good within. Especially when just giving in to her bad intentions seemed so much more easier, and fun. Non the less Hao spoke the truth striking him down would do nothing but exert her energy. It would be a rather perfunctory thing to do and quickly. She was close to striking the old man down but she persisted against it. She returned her sword to her sheath sighed and then began to walk in the other direction. "Tired..." She said as she wiped the sweat from her face. |

Hao watched as Aoi had a sense of conflict. She didn't have to say anything but it was more than visible on her face. The tension, the emotion, the shaking of her blade. It was very clear she was fighting the impulse to kill the man. Hao was a bit worried. I mean he didn't really care himself. Death was but a natural part of life and he wasn't going to get in her way in terms of impulses. To his relief however , Aoi chose the high rode. She lowered her blade and allowed him life over death. As the villagers began to come to their senses to realize what had transpired upon their town, Hao smirked as he realized the fight was over. With a sigh he turned to Spirit of Fire. As the sun began to peak through, the giant elemental turned to his master and bowed his massive head. "Good work, my friend," With that and his words, Spirit of Fire began to vanish, going transparent then fading from sight. The danger had passed and things were becoming right. The villagers tended to the old man, making sure while his wounds were treated the authorities in the town also saw to him that he would be punished. That was all Hao could ask for . As he observed the town, he turned to Aoe. "Well I am glad things turned out well. It was nice to meet you," he said to Aoe as he waved goodbye. With the matter done, Hao turned and left the town, off to continue his journey. (OOC: Let's end it here okay?) |

Aoi could only watch as the man was treated and arrested, hauled in the back of a carriage by some knights that happened to be in the town. The man had a look of disappointment and despair on his face. Which in turn bought nothing but a smile to Aoi's. She sighed once more, her plans for the day had not gone anything she had planned. If anything her plans went far from it. She took her leave walking through the village, completely ignoring the fact of all the things she had destroyed and even stole a new magical sheath. She walked along the side walk a small tune blazing through her head that she had heard when she was in the guild one day when the carriage with the oldman in the back drove past. His eyes where fixated on her with anger, which once again did nothing but make her happy, she giggled as she walked further, and even decided to skip a little. Her hands at her side while her legs leaped forward in front of each other and a dull expression on her face. Though it wouldn't last long as she tripped over a rock and landed on her face. "Ow." She said with a teary eye as she got up, dusted herself off and then left the town. |
