Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

The pleasant sound of nature was refreshing to Hao as he walked on his path to the next village. He felt completely at peace as he made his way through the forest. The birds were chirping and the wind blew easily, sweeping up his cloak and long brown hair. He was making his way into Tully Village. A rest stop between major cities in Fiore but also a calm place so he had heard. A good area for him to rest up and recover from his trip in the jungle.

He had come back after meeting a kid named Kaze, a summoner himself, and had emerged from the jungles with his second spirit guardian. The Spirit of Earth, Wildheart. A powerful being said to command and shape the earth with its power. It was a well deserved feather in Hao's cap as he felt even more confident in his quest and future adventures to explore Fiore.

He could see the small town up ahead, settled in the forest clearing up ahead. It was a small town with alot of ads and taverns, and places basically for short visits. It wasn't a well known or big town, but it did have alot of business dealing with travelers and was meant to help serve them on their journeys. However little did Hao know as he grew closer, it wouldn't be as active as he initially thought, even as he had that carefree-cryptic smirk on his face.

Aoi had been traveling for quite sometime. She had finally gotten use to being inside her guild. In fact she got use to it to much and found herself spending a lot of time at the Guilds HQ. She needed to get away, with all the psychopaths, killers and run of the mill evil that was surrounding her guild she found herself being further sucked down into a sense of wrong doing.

She had always been one for certain since of evil nature and deviousness but it was mostly due to how she was raised and who it made her feel close too. Someone she held near, someone she needs to get back no matter what the cost. The only man she had ever loved and the only that had ever shown that he had loved her. Her father.

If she where to become truly evil she would no longer be able to disguise it and manipulation would become a lot harder, which for the most part would be a key component in the future. She knew this all to well and this was in fact the main reason why she needed to get away. To clear her mind and to cleanse her soul (in a sense). She sighed as she walked through the fields on her way to the town known as Tully Village. She would need to pass her if she wanted to get to another main city of Fiore.

From what she had heard the town seemed like it would be a rather peaceful place. Though peaceful places had always bored her, and she preferred more hectic and chaotic places. Sadly the type of places she enjoyed the most happened to be what she was trying to get away from. She had her usual attire on, the one with her purple ruffled top and silver jean shorts with a purple belt, her hair pulled back into a Medium Mid-Back Ponytail and kept together with a purple ribbon.

She strutted through the field more, trying to get her mind of things. She had a fun little tune playing in her head and she displayed it by nodding her head back and forth and marching with her arms struck out stiff at her side in a silly manner. Though her face displayed a dull expression, which in turn made her seem a little weird, though she didn't mind... As she approached the town she began to notice that the town didn't seem all to lively or active.

As Hao exited the shade of the trees into the field, he noticed an unusually calm. Being a shaman, a person in extreme closeness with nature, he understood how peaceful the land should be and the surrounding area. Normally it was a clam with subtle breaks in between. However the closer he got to the town, the more quieter it got. He had learned that any settlement with humans had some sense of sound, however what he heard over the sound of the wind was nothing but silence. It was unnatural ... as far as human settlements went.

Hao stopped in the middle of the field, and looked over the small village. Something was out of place. Even the wildlife there was still. Not a single bird or breeze passed through that space before him. Something was amiss that much was certain. Logic told him to go away from it, but he couldn't just leave a place this suspicious without understanding the cause.

On the outskirt of the village, Hao spotted a small hut. He could hear but a small whistle coming from it, almost like the steaming of hot water on a kettle. Curious, Hao made his way through the fields to that hut. The building was small, looking like a tiny cottage that would hold only one person. He approched the door, and gave a simple knock. No one answered. He tried to peek in the windows, but he didn't see anything. "Hello! Is anyone there? If not i am coming in!" Hao announced and then brought out his twin swords. He pried one end into the door and pushed, dislodging the lock and opening the door.

The kettle still whistled but no one was inside. As Hao moved into the place, he noticed a single old man. He was in fact sitting in there but didn't move. Hao approched quietly, and shook his shoulder slightly. The man wouldn't budge, his head slumped forward as if he was in a deep sleep. Hao then went and turned off the kettle before it overheated. In the end, he left the hut, puzzled by what was happening.

"How bizarre, even for Fiore," Hao commented as he ovserved the hut.

"Are you looking for something, young man?" A voice spoke behind him. This however caught Hao's attention. Behind him was another old man, with white hair and wearing an odd martial arts outfit. "Not in too much of a hurry I hope?" he asked, almost casually.

Hao then turned around. Despite the situation, Hao gave the man his simple smirk. "Why not at all. Who might you be, good sir?" he replied without missing a beat.

Aoi continued to march deeper towards the town, she passed through a bit of forest only to almost trip a couple of times due to her refusing to stop marching so awkwardly. In fact as she walked her foot got caught on a tree root and she slipped. Only to tumble down a small hill and land on her butt. A dull expression was still on her face except a slight frown could be seen. She got up brushed the dirt of her butt and clothing and continued to walk. "Ow..." She said with a slight tone of voice.

One good thing had came out from the fall... She had made it closer to the town, a nearby hut could be seen and by it an old man and a young boy talking to each other. The boy seemed to have some swords out... Aoi could only help but wonder if they where going to fight. She walked a little closer, a small bruise could be seen on her left hand but she didn't seem to mind, nor did it hurt that much to her, or rather she just ignored it to the best of her abilities.

Her Katana and could be seen sheath and hung from her side, though she did not plan on using it today, would could never know what events might unfold. But what was the most odd was that from what she could hear thus far was hardly anything. The town itself seemed to be in some form of sleep from how quite it was. It was strange, really strange in fact considering this town was pretty much a path from one city to the next. Major cities in fact, it was like a ghost town.

As Hao withdrew his twin blades, he continued talking to the elderly gentlemen. "I am curious, do you know what happened? The man inside was out cold and with his oven on. I had to make sure he was okay. Do you know if anything odd has been going on?" Hao asked as he continued his cryptic smirk at the older man.

"I am afraid I couldn't tell you anything, young man. I live on the outskirts of the woods. I only come into town briefly, but I sure hope everything is all right. But I am glad you are not in too much of a hurry. Young people these days do not learn when to take it easy and relax. You are a good boy," the old man chuckled, having the same kind of smile Hao had.

Hao did take this news with interest. Something was amiss and yet the man had no clue about what was going on. Even so the man himself had the same smirk as he did. The kind of smirk a man would have when they knew more than what they were letting on. Despite what he knew, Hao just shrugged the thought off for now till he knew more. He would have to enter the village all the same to discover the cause. "I see. Well thank you for your information. Perhaps I shall see you again after I finish my business in the village. " The old man just nodded at Hao, and then departed in the other direction.

As the man left, Hao turned around, his cloak wafting in the gentle wind. As he walked he heard the sound of someone else. He turned to see a young woman making her way to the village. Another traveler perhaps? Hao then raised his hand, trying to wave her in his direction.

Aoi settled herself down and watched as the two where talking. A dull expression could be seen on her face as she watched them. They where to far for her to hear them and they did little talking from what she saw from their lip movements. Sadly she couldn't read lips, but their body language did say a few things. The old man seemed rather limber for his age in his martial arts clothing. The boy withdrew his swords which was a sign of him being calm and relaxed around the older gentlemen.

It seemed she wouldn't get to see a bit of chaos like she hoped. Things where still a little odd though, the town was still incredibly quite and yet the only two people she had seen so far was a kid and an old man. They began to give a slight smile at each other, an odd one at that which seemed as though they where withholding information or giving information to each other. Aoi couldn't tell but she didn't want to interrupt or rather she didn't really care.

She found herself staring at them without the intentions to do so. However as the two finished talking she quickly tried to make it seem as though she wasn't watching them. She turned to her side a quick manner and stepped on a branch which of course made this incredibly large crunching sound. She looked back towards the older man and the boy only to see the boy left standing there waving her towards him. She in turn took the bait, if the boy tried something she could always cut him down. Oh, what fun that would be for her. The thought of it made her smile a bit as she walked towards the boy.

Eventually she made it near him and stopped, the wind blew and her eyes had a dull expression yet she had a smile on her face. She placed her hands at her mid section and did a quick bow before looking back up the boy. She didn't say anything she simply bowed and starred at him, waiting for him to say or do something.

The woman who approached him seemed a bit odd herself. Whether or not she meant ill will was unknown except for the fact she held a katana close to her side(from your cut him down comment). It was likely her means of self defense, to which Hao could understand very well. As she approched, she seemed lost in thought as she bowed before him. Even though he was confused by her appearance, Hao still smiled at her all the same.

"Hi there," he said rather casually, almost like there was nothing wrong at all around him. He felt at least, he could greet her no different than anywhere else till he knew more about her. "Are you one of the villagers who live here? Any chance you can explain what is going on? I haven't entered the town yet but something seems very out of place. "

His calm attitude to all of this seemed to throw most people off, but in truth it took alot to truly surprise Hao into a physical reaction. He had seen alot in his past lifetimes, and it was rare that he showed his true emotion behind his smile. However, his intention was sincere to see who she was and possibly help her. She did not look well.

The man sure did smile a lot, he seemed a bit like a happy go lucky type of person. Aoi however was bored, and he was even more boring then she could imagine. Though it seemed he just made it to the town as well and had not a clue about what was going on. It seems her, him and that old man that walked away where the only ones who seemed to be a bit lively in this town.

Just what was going on? The boy began to ask a lot of questions which really made it seem as though he didn't have the slightest clue as to what was happening. In response Aoi simply shook her head side to side as if to say "No." Which was true she had no idea, but she wanted to find out. She turned to the side and began to march with her arms stiff at her side once more.

She marched in place for a second before looking back at the boy and gesturing to come along with her hands. She didn't really care much for the boy, but if something where to happen she could always use him as a distraction or even a human shield. However what she would see once she entered the village would be something she was not expecting.

The girl's behavior was certainly what Hao considered extremely rude. The woman wasn't very friendly or even willing to communicate. She just gestured him to follow and proceeded into the village without a second thought. Not smart, in Hao's honest opinion. He decided it was best to not follow her, she not looking very reliable or trust worthy. As she made her way into the village, he felt he could go on his own. If anything he would bail her out at his own leisure if she was in fact innocent, or part of the problem.

Hao took the time to circle the village and entered in the east entrance. He entered past the first few buildings, which were made of wood. A soft mist hung in the air that smelt like incense. The town was eerie quiet. At first glance he would assume no one was occupying the village, however upon closer inspection, he could hear the soft sounds of breathing. He approached a tavern building that was built like something from the old west. He pushed past the doors to discover the people inside were all asleep, the same state the old man at the shack was. Not a single soul was immune, sleeping like the dead. This was more serious than Hao thought.

His smile faded as he realized this was an unusual situation. He regretted having let that girl in on her own but hope she was alright. Hao still needed more clues and proceeded to search. For the time being, he had to rely on stealth and keeping as quiet as the people asleep for he feared he would risk being discovered by whatever caused this unnatural state.

Aoi continued walking not looking back for quite sometime after gesturing for the boy to follow her. She had finally got a bit deeper into the city only to hear a large amount of snoring and people moaning lazily. It was quite odd if anything, she looked around only to see most people sleep. Every shop she passed by, was full of people asleep. Even some of the more crowded areas had people sleeping in the middle of the street. Just what was going on? She had no idea.

The only thing she could think of was that some sort of curse was cast, or some sort of spell. That or someone filled the drinking water with sleeping drugs. Non the less she was hungry, her stomach began to growl and as such she took this opportunity to do a bit of shopping. And what a day to do it! Everything was 100% of with her nifty 5 finger discount. She smirked lightly as she walked towards a store. As she got closer she tripped on a thick tree branch that had fallen from one of the large near by trees.

As she slipped she tumbled forward, she curled up to avoid falling flat on her face. Though it didn't turn out as planned instead she rolled forward and ended up tumbling down a large hill. Smashing into a trash can which flew in front of her and proceeded to scoop her up which then continued to to tumble down the street. Eventually the trash can stopped and crashed into a wall bouncing and bounced off, the trash can flew one direction and her body went the other.

She landed on her butt once more. "Hungry..." She said as she stood up, leaned back and cracked her back a little. Luckily the trash can was pretty clean and thus she wasn't covered in filth. She brushed of her shoulders and continued to walk trying to ignore the pain of tumbling down a hill. She walked into a shop that still had stew bubbling on the stove. All the workers seemed to be sleep, one even fell asleep into a bat of food ingredients. She got a bowl and took the ladle and proceeded to pour herself a bowl of stew before going on a shopping spree.
