Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

After a long, winding journey by foot, Zachary swore he would never go back to Trillium again. That town was trouble and with no transportation he had to go back to Magnolia on foot. What a pain. The trains had broke down so he had to walk all the way back but he was there and he was happy. He planned to take a job right after the next one. He was happy to be a dedicated member of Fairy Tail.

He had only been a member of Fairy Tail for a week but he was already loving the feeling of being in such a great guild. He even helped complete a C class quest, even if it was counted 'off the books'. In the end, he accomplished the mission and also helped others on his way home. He even mastered a new spell for him to use. Still, he thirsted for more adventure and knowledge to gain new spells. If anything he learned there was still a lot more to learn before he could become a fully realized mage.

As he made his way back to the guild, he noticed something odd as he made his way past the park. A lone clown was doing a street performance for passer-byes. He was goofy in many colors. Zachary didn't consider it with too high regard as he made his way. But it wasn't before he heard a commotion coming from up ahead.

He looked into an ally to see other others helping a young girl with brown hair. He kept his distance knowing that she already had help. What shocked him the most however was on her left hand, dangling at her side was a pink tattoo mark. It was the fairy tail mark, the mark of his guild. This startled him, causing him to watch in silence, stunned by the event. "What the... what the hell happened?" he said to himself, "One of my guild members was attacked?!" he cried out.

Unbeknownst to all who inhabited Magnolia a simple man who resembled a different type of clown roamed the streets and alleyways preying upon the weak and the helpless, not to mention anyone he thought gave him a funny look! His mind a machine of madness he would simply hide amongst the crowd as a simple actor or crazy man, seeming to just be that of a normal entertainer he would find victims to further his means for death and destruction be it by inflicting it himself, or by simply taking their valuables for further planning and means to achieve his goals. As he had started his performances however and made to take care of his sighted prey a mage stepped in whether by accident or on purpose, perhaps enchanted by his madness, who knew but he had to take care of that succulent little morsel albeit regretfully as he made both his pray as he took what goods they had and beat them into damn near death's cold embrace.

Dancing around now as he was surrounded by somewhat of a crowd admiring his insanity he laughed almost evilly as he "entertained" the crowd, or more to say they entertained him as he thought 'Such ants waiting to be crushed under by boot! How I can't wait to do to these worthless meatbags what i've done to everyone else!' Getting in a little childs face kneeling slightly he waved his fingers erratically and then with a quick snatching motion pulled behind his ear to reveal...A Jewel! As people clapped and laughed at his insanity a little kid made to touch his clothes "Hey! don't grab the goods whelp!" pulling out 3 sorts of rubberized balls he began to juggle them still laughing as if going mweehehehe as the crowd kept watching Kefka started picking out various targets including what looked like a blacksmiths apprentice, an elderly woman, a newly wedded couple who looked happy...HAPPY?!

If there was one thing Kefka despised it was happiness! hope! love! ugh that word love gave him a serious urge of vomitting or at least the exploding of the backside! All the while he kept a falsely cheerful face continue to entice the crowd as he thought to himself 'I Hate! hatehatehatehatehatehatehatehate HAPPINESS!' Continuing to scan the crowd he noticed a young man with brown hair walk past him, watching him somewhat he grinned 'Why yes that might a good target indeed as well!' As he clapped his hands together the rubber balls disappeared in a flash of smoke as he spoke "Okay shows over you can go now." he said rather blunt and plain as if there was no fun to be had and with that he made his way down the nearest alleway as he plotted to make his move here soon, before he made it too far he turned clapped at the crowd so they faced him as he invoked his magic upon them inciting a riot of the crowd as they all took to beating each other violently before the spell immediately wore off after a good hit freed the mind. With that Kefka was gone for the time being sitting down an alleyway further on watching the commotion as the body of the young girl he so brutally played with until he smiled wickedly yet insanely as he licked his lips for a moment the moment coming to mind 'IS THAT ALL?! BUT I WANT TO PLAY MOREEEEE' he had whined like a little child before leaving the young girl broken on the ground with his latest prey.

Zachary accompanied the body of the unconscious guildmate to Magnolia hospital. The staff were lucky to treat her wounds in time. Her name was Eris, a new recruit to the guild and barely 14 years old. She was a young prodigy of telepathy magic but whoever attacked her didn't stand a chance. Zachary felt personally responsible to see her through the evaluation for the doctors to inform him what happened. He did know she was alive but her condition was bad. Whoever did it didn't just attack her, they tortured her.

"I see you are here too," a voice spoke beside him. Surprised, Zachary turned around to see a man he had come to know well since he first joined. He wore a purple shirt and short hair, glasses on his face. "What a mess..." he sighed with deep regret.

"Master Silver!" Zachary exclaimed, jumping back a bit as he noticed his guild master's presence. "When did you...?"

Silver turned to Zachary, a grave look of worry on his face. "I was informed at the guildhall of this and came as soon as I could. How terrible. Eris was our latest recruit after you, and now she was the victim of something like this? What is her condition?"

Zachary looked through the window into the now darkening city of Magnolia. "The doctors say she was not physically harmed too bad. However, the reason her condition was so bad was mentally. They said whoever did this caused alot of mental trauma to her and why she collapsed."

Nathan's arms trembled and soon he delivered a punch into the wall near the window. A sickening crack echoed down the hall followed by a crack along the wall were he punched. "How dare they... how dare they lay a finger on one of my guild mates, my children..." he was seething, anger Zachary had not seen before.

Guilt dragged at Zachary's heart as he realized how serious a crime this was and how much it hurt him and his guild. "I am so ... so sorry, Master Silver. I should of been there sooner. If I was this wouldn't of happened. I could of helped her... I could--" He was silenced by Silver's hand on his shoulder.

"No... this is not a matter of fault upon you, my boy," he consoled, realizing his anger triggered the boy's guilt. "The monster behind this is the real culprit. Right now I can only be thankful that she is safe and hope that her recovery will be swift."

There was a long pause between them as they watched the city turn from afternoon to dusk, the stars now twinkling in the sky. "I have assigned everyone in Fairy Tail to be on high alert. I don't want anyone alone until we know who is responsible for this mess. Thank you for keeping close, but right now I want you to head back home." Master Silver instructed sternly.

There was a problem as Zachary turned to him. "B-But Master... when I first signed up with the guild I hadn't made any lodging reservations or anything. I don't have a place to stay yet. " he explained with worry.

Nathan took a moment to take out a piece of paper, scribbled something down and gave it to Zachary. "Listen then," Silver informed him, "I want you then to go to the Siren's Inn on the south east side of town. Give the inn keeper this note-- he knows me. He will give you lodging and dinner for the night. I will come later tonight to check that you arrived safely. I have to wait here a bit longer but I want you to go there now before it gets too dark. Don't stop for anything, okay?" he said with emphasis as he encouraged him onward.

With a nod, Zachary took the paper and kept going. The master didn't even give him time to say thank you, as he was soon pushed along and made his way out the hospital. He began walking briskly towards the south part of town, heading in the general direction of the park.

Kefka sat in his alleyway still rubbing his hands together maliciously as he decided it was time to make a move on those targets he saw earlier cackling madly to himself. The sounds of the short lived riot amongst the show goers had died out hours ago with a few sharp yells, confusion, and some guards attempting to break up the fight. Laughing at the fact that those fools would have black eyes, maybe a missing tooth, or worse, hell even some probably being taken to jail for their insanity without anyone being the wiser! Smiling to himself he remembered the exact people he had picked out as his smile turned to a wicked grin and started skipping his way out of the alleyway down the main street looking again like the entertainer he was, or was he? Looking around as he went his grin plastered to his face he made his way first to the nearest blacksmith shop as it turned completely to dusk the starts twinkling above as Kefka thought 'One day I will be the heavens mweehehehe.'

As he approached the shop he watched from around the corner as it seemed to close the balcksmith being the first to leave as he left the apprentice from earlier to clean up and finish shutting everything down. Looking around to make sure no one was watching he laughed and cackled mumbling to hismelf "Oh yes...soon...just wait for that fat oaf to leave and...mweehehehe its show time!" Finished speaking to himself Kefka seemed to creepily stealth walk over to the door where the apprentice was about to lock it...only to have a potion pressed to his lips giving him a couple of drops of the liquid the targets eyes fluttered slowly shut "Chloroform! oh no he was just asking for a hug!" giggling as kefka looked around grabbing the apprentice and dragging him inside slowly as he grumbled "This weakling is pretty heavy for being such a wimp! gah come on you fat bastard!" looking around quickly kefka found a chair forcing the body into it and tying the man up with rope. Making sure the door was closed and locked behind him Kefka just cackled rubbing his hands together as he scoured the shop finding nothing of value with various curses, in his frustration he ran to his captive and slap him a couple of times until he woke up "WHERE IS THE VALUABLE STUFF?!" the shocked apprentice struggled and fell backward in the chair uncertain of what was going on "I...I..don't know! the old man takes the money with him when he leaves!"

Mumbling to himself as he stormed around the shop scowling "How inconsiderate of these fools! Who do they think they are keeping all the money and good stuff from me! Why the nerve!" Spinning around on the spot he grinned wickedly "Well since you're of no use to me..." he advanced on the apprentice grabbing his chin forcefully as he pried his mouth open listening to the protests "W-W-Wait! what're you doing?! Stop! I'll give you anything!" Kefka's wicked grin widened "Oh? Anything? do you have a loved one perhaps? a girlfriend? wife?" Terrified the apprentice shook his head "N-N-No!" Shrugging Kefka pulled out a blackish green looking vial popped it open "Too bad then." and poured a couple of drops in the apprentices mouth before securing the vial and closing it "I would have played more with your life and those of your loved ones..but this'll do!" Tears streamed down the apprentices face now as he was scared feeling the poison slowly working through his body "OH QUIT BEING SUCH A BABY!" Kefka slapped the apprentice but then grinned again "I am furnished with a thought! You want to live, but in order to live you must suffer!" Rubbing his hands together he cackled madly grabbing a nearby dagger and examining it before looking at the apprentice "You have one chance to save yourself.." he took out a light blue vial and gently poured a few drops into a small cup. Placing it by the apprentice he grinned wickedly "If you get that cup you will live but...some RULES!" walking next to the apprentice he stomped on his hands breaking them with a bunch of stomps as the apprentice cried out in pain "Use this knife with those broken claws and cut your way to freedom! drink the cure and you'll live! If you can't you die, so sad so sorry. NOT!" cackling evilly he tossed the dagger by the mans hands and left him to his fate as he walked out of the apprentice shop closing it quietly and looking around, from inside you could hear the quiet crying of the man afraid for his life. Dusting himself off he walked down the street before stopping and going "Oh whoopsie me, I seem to have given him the sleeping potion, You are so disorganized sometimes you know!" laughing he walked once more leaving the apprentice "It probably won't kill him, but will give him a bad case of the stomach flu since its not perfected, but good enough!"

Getting unfortunately lost on his way to find that elderly lady from earlier Kefka just yawned and laid down lazily on the ground "Sadly this has grown a tad bit boring, mayhaps I find better fun elsewhere!" Looking around he saw the park nearby and clapped his fist onto his hand "Over there be pretties to play with!" getting up quickly he started to do his skip run once more his big evil grin plastered onto his face as he made his way slowly into the park where he found a couple of passer-bys to terrorize "Excellent, Excellent! Mwehehehehe" he rubbed his hands together as he made his way into the nearest area with enough passer-bys to entertain him.

The whole situation was sending a chill up Zachary's spine as he made his way down the street. To his luck some people were still around so he didn't feel too anxious to sprint. The weight of the situation was still making his heart heavy with dread and grief. Who in the world would bother to beat up a weak newcomer, a girl no less. The thought was disgusting to him, making him angry. Master's Silver had the right idea though. Now was the time for patience, and safety. He wished he did team up with someone back at the guild but it was not anywhere around. It was probably closed for the night now. He also had not been at the guild hall long enough to make what he would call lasting friendships.

He looked up at the stars. It was odd. The Star's always comforted him. In a way it helped him remember his first magic mentor who taught him about balance in all things. Even in every day life, the balance applied. Under the light of the stars, even he wouldn't be afraid of the dark. A sigh of relief escaped him as he approched the end of the street.

He was still less than a mile away from the inn Master Silver told him to go to. He was moving fast but he stopped as he looked around. He now stood at the southern end of Magnolia with a choice. The fastest path to the inn was through the park. It however was darker, and lit by only the night lamps. The other option was to go around the long way, around the park and via the canal. That would take him twice as long and be even more time caught out late at night. He looked into the park entrance, the stairs leading down into it. He knew the way through it from his first trip, knowing there was a bridge, a easy walkway and a garden.

Swallowing his nerve, he picked up his pace and decided to venture through the park. He climbed down the stairs fast and kept a steady, power walking through the park. Though it was dark, the lights from the lampposts kept him in relative light as he entered the park and the trees that obscured it from the rest of the city.

Skipping out and around the park for a short time he approached the group of people and started his "act" to gain their attention and possibly their money, showing off his various moves and making a few silly jokes that had them mildly laughing. Working his gig he wondered if these new toys would prove a challenge or perhaps have the spoils he so desired to have from his victims, anything that could further his conquest and raise him to godhood! Dancing and prancing around performing various acts of magic and mystique Kefka felt degraded that he had to do this to find his victims and lure them into a false sense of security.

Thinking to himself as he played the silly jester 'I hate acting so friendly, so happy, so harmless! I just want destruction! Mayhem! DEATH!' Keeping his malicious eyes as he scanned the small audience he also kept his eyes alert for anyone that might try to stop him or recognize him from any attacks, which he doubted since one could hardly tell it was kefka's doing. "Don't forget to help an entertainer out the bigtime!" he jested as he stopped his act for a moment to collect a few jewels, it was all pitiful but it was better than nothing, as he collected the last jewels he clapped his hands together "Now watch them....DISAPPEAR!" a puff of smoking erupted from his hands as he opened them revealing empty palms "Ta-daaaa!" he received a round of applause and he bowed slightly "Thank you! thank you!"

The park wasn't completely dark, still lit by the lamp posts, and the city lights in the distance. It was just difficult to walk through without seeing the next spot on the road. The trees masked a lot of the area, making the park bigger than it actually was. The dark made it seem ominous, but only convinced Zachary to press forward. He heard some sounds but he assumed it was mostly soft, people talking. He assumed some romantic couples were out enjoying the night time romance in the park.

He had heard that parks like these in big cities were havens for crime during the night, but it was only really dangerous if you were to loiter around in one spot too much. He knew his path. He would cross the gardens, past the playground and over the bridge with the stream running through the park. Then he would be home free and able to continue to the Inn just a few blocks away.

The sound of crickets and owls made the trip eerie, as if expecting something to pop out and surprise him. He had not need to worry. He wasn't the weak kid he used to be back in Sleepy Hollow. He was now a wizard, and a capable one to at least handle the average thug from the roadside. He could easily fight them off, at least long enough to get away and defend himself. However, that was in the case of average people. If he were to fight a mage who was skilled, he would likely lose. Reguardless, it was not a time to be careless. He soon passed the gardens, keeping an eye out for anything as he made his way for the bridge.

Although Kefka made a few jewels off the few people he had found in the park this night he deemed them as unworthy of prey for the time being, although tempting to make the people fight each other he decided to leave them be...for the moment. Glancing around with a fake joyous grin plastered to his face he made some loud noises, jokes and gags hoping to draw attention to himself by anyone that was around, maybe draw in someone a little more worthy of being his prey. Skipping around in circles doing various tricks and gags he began to grow bored rather quickly uncertain if there would be anyone worth a damn and it would be better to just end this charade and go crazy with destruction.

Sighing mentally he decided to do a final trick that he hoped would be flashy enough to bring in a wild cheer perhaps, probably not. "And now for my final trick! I shall make myself...DISAPPEAR!" wiggling his fingers erraticly Kefka pulled his arms apart holding them to each side as he spread his fingers and clapped really loudly disappearing in a puff of smoke, it was just a parlour trick for sure but he was now behind the crowd and he grinned wickedly, oh how easy it would be to sabotage these people from behind and just ake the joyous fun and pleasure of the moment, but he decided it was time to pop back. Speaking loudly he played ventriloquist as his voice echoed "Now its time to...REAPPEAR!" clapping his hands once more a faint cloud obscured the audiences vision and he popped back in front of the group bowing ever so slightly to a round of applause "Thank you! Thank you!"

(IF you would, maybe have your clown spot Zachary in next one)
There were those sounds again. It was starting to test Zachary's nerves. He was beginning to regret having gone into the park at this time of night. Even with the lanterns along the path it was still creepy. He now made his way past the garden and through the playground. The swing swung eerily in the breeze and some clown faces on the jungle gym looked scary in the partial dark.

The soft coos of an owl made the trees seem scarier as the moon hid behind the clouds. "Okay... there is nothing to worry about. Its just the trees, and the animals. Nothing scarey going on. Sure there is a crazy mage killer on the lose targeting rookie mages, but no reason I should be scared." he justified aloud, feeling his voice would keep anything ill away.

"There is nothing to be afraid of. I am a pretty tough mage and a member of Fairy Tail. I am destined for great things... I won't get scared by something so small ... and stupid as the dark. " Another pause in his voice came as he passed the playground. "And I am talking to myself... that's a good sign," he joked aloud as he made his way to the bridge.

Kefka looked over and noticed his mark from earlier in the day, stopping to rub his hands together quickly and calculatingly he cackled to himself as he put up both hands in front of the crowds "Wait ladies and germs seems we've got a new plausible audience member!" the little crowd of four people looked at each other then back at Kefka as he skipped off eagerly in aim for the mage across the way, the group quietly followed him to continue the show. Slowing down for a moment he caught him talking to himself seemingly spooked as if the park were out to get him this night. Clapping his hand over his mouth he stopped a laugh as he looekd around quickly for an attempt to terrify him to death 'This brat is gonna get a show of his life, maybe he'll just die of fright! Ohhh this is too rich!' Turning around and putting his finger to his lips to silence the small crowd he smiled wickedly.

Quietly shuffling his feet along the dirt so as not to make any noise his wiggled his fingers erratically once more as he threw his voice over into the distance "My My a new victim to enter my domain as the shadows fall across the park. I suggest you leave your money and turn around and go back from whence you came!" Trying not to bust out laughing he was almost tempted to just jump out and destroy this fool swiftly to take his valuables, although the most value anyone ever had was their life, but what fun was that at this point? No he would only destroy them as he saw fit in the future, that was the best way to do it, yes when he became a god!

Looking around quickly he was seeking another place to throw his voice from..ah hah! he could throw his voice over by those trees or perhaps back towards that park they weren't far from it! Again he was forced to keep himself from exploding into a burst of giggles as he decided to mess with this ones mind as he looked towards the front where a bridge awaited where he threw his voice once more "Ooooooh Tuuuuuuurrrrrnnnnnn Baaaaack! Beforeeeeee Youuuuu Dieeeeeee!" he made a ghostly wail as he sat there with the slight crowd in hiding. Once more he threw his voice this time behind the man as he used different voices to say small things such as "He went this way!" "I got dibs on his jewels!" "I get any equipment he has on him!" as if to sound like a small group of thieves.
