Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

San's distraction worked perfectly for some strange reason and Clear was not going to waste that chance. He moved to the door on the back and was about to enter when he remembered one last detail. "Suina, don't make a sound. Be as quiet as you can be." he whispered to her. "But why?" she asked with a puzzled look. "Just do what I tell you." he answered coldly and entered the house. The door led to a storage room, it was filled with old things and mostly junk. It was a complete mess, there was everything from old rusted tools to old newspapers and everything. It was your typical storage room full of useless things most people seemed to have in their houses. Still, the whole place was a mess and Clear thought it would be best to ignore it for the time being. If Ganondork took Tim's ocarina for the reason Clear assumed he would keep it in a safer place, somewhere he could have easy access to it. Even if their relationship was kind of weird he and Tim were still friends, or at least they should be. This meant that he would most likely not damage the ocarina before returning it to its owner. Unless that was his plan all along.

Clear moved closer to the door that led inside the house from the storage room and placed his ear to listen inside. There didn't appear to be any sounds coming from the next room so he opened it carefully and peeked inside. The door led to a hallway which was apparently empty at the time. Clear stepped in it and looked around him. The hallway extended towards two directions, the door to the storage room being in the middle of it. Clear walked to the left of the hallway until he reached a door on the opposite wall of the one the storage room was in. He place his ear on the door and could hear talking from thee other side, San's voice faintly recognizable. He assume this was the living room where San was distracting Ganondork so he moved back towards the other side of the hallway. There were two doors at its end, one on each opposing side of the walls. Opening the one further away from the living room and closest to the storage room, Clear found himself in the bedroom. This seemed like the best place to hide something important. "Start looking for a small blue object. Don't make any noise." Clear told Suina who nodded, got out from Clear's gourd and started walking around the room.

Distracting Ganondork, as it turned out, was the easiest part - the man practically distracted himself, as while in the living room he focused on nothing save San. Keeping his own sanity while under a constant bombardment of random questions, pointless queries, and unceasing string of distractions - that, was much more difficult. While the sheer amount of words coming out of Ganondork's mouth was far too large to be recorded by any means, much less by an illiterate undead mage, it would appear that his presence alone was enough to keep the man occupied for now. He talks too much, San considered, while Ganondork babbled on about who-knows-what; he himself gave up on trying to understand him. Something about dark magic, ruling over the world, and triangles? I think I'm starting to develop a- well, haven't had a headache in decades. This is a refreshing experience. In the meantime, though, I need to make sure Clear has assistance...summoning time.

And so, at the front of the door, a mass of sprites flew up from the ground, which merged into a humanoid shape that transformed into a real being; a decently tall man, well-adorned in colorful clothes, with a straw hat over his head and an unusually decorated gourd slung over his back. Through the means of summoning, the man seemed to already know the tasks expected of him, and immediately looked around. "Hello? Uhhh...what's his name? Claw? Crepe? Clamp? Cramp? Probably not the last one, but hey! Is anyone around here?" the man asked, in a voice loud enough for anyone near to hear, but just sufficiently so that neither San nor Ganondork could hear. Looking around in examination, the man decided that the person he was looking for must have been somewhere in the house already - a hunch, no more. "Heee-lllo?"

Meanwhile, inside - Ahhh, so this is what a headache feels like.

Clear was about to start looking through the bedroom in search of the ocarina, when he heard a voice come from the hallway. Confused, he peeked from the bedroom's entrance to see a man with a straw hat standing there. Nobody had to tell him who this person was, it had to be one of San's summons. His appearance was somewhat similar to the one Clear had witnessed during his first day meeting San, in a sense. The man seemed to be calling for Clear, or at least he should be. Clear motioned for him to come inside the room he was in as well and at the same time whispered to him. "San sent you, right? We are currently searching inside this room, your help would be much appreciated. The object in question is a blue ocarina. If you don't know what that is, it looks like an oval musical instrument." He then moved back inside the room to continue his search. The first place he decided to search was the nightstand next to the bed. People usually kept small objects there. He opened the first drawer and saw a notebook in it. After examining it for a short time, it appeared to be some sort of diary where Ganondork wrote down his plans for world domination. Weird fellow.

Putting the diary back in its original position, Clear opened the second drawer where he found a book titles "How to rule the world". It would seem this man has some sort of weird obsession with authority. Was he really just a regular citizen? He could always just be delusional. Ignoring that book, Clear opened the last drawer where he found a pair of binoculars. Now he was really curious, what would a person want with binoculars in their nightstand? This man was weird, definitely weird. On the other side of the room, Suina had managed to climb on the closet's door and open it to get inside. On the bottom side there were clothes, common clothing used for everyday purposes. Not exactly clothes an ordinary person would wear, but they were still not that strange. Below the clothing, on the closet's base, there were several books stacked. It seemed that Ganondork lacked a bookcase or simply didn't want people to take a look at his books. Suina looked through all of them, although she couldn't really read their contents or titles. Dismissing them as a bunch of gibberish, and the fact that the object she was looking for was blue, she moved on to examine the rest of Ganondrok's closet.

The summon was more than happy to oblige. "Alright, so, blue thing with holes in it? Got it. Oh, and by the way, my name's-" Alas, Clear had vanished by the time he was making his introduction. When he finally noticed it, the summon's shoulders slouched dejectedly. "Awww. There goes another friendship that could have blossomed beautifully," he sadly said to himself, before immediately straightening himself up again. "Stick to the mission, Wu, stick to the mission...ooh, I wonder what's in this room." With that, the summon opened a door, making his way into, of all things, the restroom. Of course, being one of San's summons, chances were that he had never entered a Fiorean bathroom or anything of the like, and the consequences of such were about to be displayed. Entering the bathroom, the summon looked around, disappointed at the contents: "What's this? A...funny shelf with a hole on top, a funky-looking giant crater with rising edges and some creepy-looking metal implement on top, and- ooh, is that a well?" No, that was a toilet; not that he would know. "Do they drink from these? Oh, and what does this-" He was about to dip his hands in, but was saved at the last minute by his gourd; for reasons unknown, it began to suddenly and randomly spew out puffs of smoke.

San, meanwhile, was having the time of his life - or not. "So, Mage, you see, and that's how the relationship between me, Tim, and the Lady of the Intensely-Old-Fashioned Dress developed." At the rate which Ganondork was talking, the undead mage was beginning to consider a secondary death. I wonder, if I jumped at him right now and smashed my head against his own, would he...? Would I...? Ganondork saved him this trouble, though. "And look, I've developed a bit of a spell already!" the otherwise-not-so-handsome man said, pulling out a gauntlet with a triangle made of triangles on it. As San watched, initially unamused, the man wore the thing, calling out a loud "HA!" - and, as a giant sword appeared in his arms, the undead mage merely gaped in despair. "That...is it exquip magic?" he cautiously asked, only to be met by a barrage of words as Ganondork began an all-too-lengthy explanation of the spell, how he came to discover it, his preferred means of using it, and way too much information for San to comprehend.

Clear...hurry yourself up, before I get arrested by the Knights for manslaughter.

Suina had somehow managed to climb up over the first set of clothes and reach the shelf above them. In contrast to the clothes that were hanged below, this shelf had blankets, pillows, towels and other mundane things. Still no sign of a small blue object. Yet Suina thought it would make sense to hide something inside all of those things so she burrowed inside it and started looking for it. She was unaware of the fact that the ocarina wasn't there and she was making a mess of those things for no good reason. Clear would notice that fact too late when he would turn around after he finished examining the nightstand and witnessed the scene. Immediately he got up and grabbed her by the legs and pulled her out of the closet. Looking at her with mild irritation, she responded with an innocent smile. "There was no small blue object in there." she whispered. Clear sighed and put her back in the gourd, thinking that she was going to efficiently search around was a stupid idea in the first place. He took a moment to sort out the closet before closing it and turning back to the rest of the room. Where else could he look? The only thing he hadn't examined yet was the bed.

The thought of lifting the mattress crossed his mind, but he quickly realized an object like an ocarina wouldn't fit under there. So he ducked, and looked under the bed. There, he found some magazines. Curious, he picked one up and looked at its contents. With blushing cheeks he put the magazine back at its original location and got up. There was nothing else to check in the bedroom, the only room that remained was the storage room he didn't care to search through in the first place and the last room he hadn't opened yet. Exiting the bedroom he opened the door to the last room where he found the man from before closely examining the bathroom's toilet. No words could express this scene so Clear tapped on the man's shoulder to get his attention. "You won't find anything in here. Follow me, there's one room we've yet to check." he told the man and moved back to the hallway and headed to the storage room. He opened the door and was once again greeted by the same pile of junk as before. Sighing, he looked around the room hoping to find his target without having to go through all that junk. Why would that man even keep all those items there in the first place?

The summon turned around in surprise. "Eh? Are you sure? But this kind of place looks like the perfect one to hide something in. Just drop it into this well, and down it goes!" he commented, though he willingly stood up and left the bathroom behind Clear, and he too saw the storage room. "What, it's in this- what kind of a person has all of this random stuff just thrown out in a room?" As he spoke, another puff of smoke popped out of his gourd, rising into the upper parts of the hallway. Meanwhile, Ganondork was very busy showing San a magic trick - conjuring a tiny fireball, the size of a tennis ball. "See? It doesn't really burn, though, and I don't think it even emits smoke, but if I can get it to be larger and hotter, I can probably use it a lot more," he said, amongst a lot of other things that he was also saying. San, of course, had to - and still was - endure it, though he felt on the borderline of cracking. I beseech the merciful heavens, send me something to stop this man's mouth; it gapes wider than a valley, and more useless things come out of it than trash from a can-

The cause was, really, unknown. It could have been the summon's smoke puffs, it could have been the hastily-conjured measly fireball, it could have simply been an answer to San's prayers, or perhaps a combination of them all - whatever it was, it caused it: All of a sudden, the smoke detector beeped, and almost immediately several sprinklers hidden within the tops of every room in the house began their task of spraying water down. The summon was quick to notice it, though his hat prevented the worse that could happen. "What in the world- and now it's raining?" In the living room, obviously, San and Ganondork were instantly soaked. "What? The fire alarm went off? How?" Ganondork announced, looking around. The fireball in his hand had vanished almost instantly. "That's strange. I thought I fixed it last week- give me a moment please, mage," he said, walking off to a corner of the room, where there was a series of complex-looking switched. The man fumbled with them, while San looked onwards. Oh, thank the heavens.

Raining? It was true that there was water pouring down on Clear at that moment but it was not rain. The only explanation he could give to this phenomenon as that the house's fire alarm had gone off for some reason. Clear stood there emotionless, starting at the wall for a couple of minutes without saying a word. Many thoughts were swirling inside his head, mainly things like 'Why me?'. Why did everything had to go like this whenever he attempted something? This was beginning to get really irritating, he had sneaked inside a house to retrieve one tiny ocarina yet everything unfolded like that. Sighing at this whole thing, Clear decided to ignore this development and focus on the task at hand. His cloak was going to shield him from all of the water. On the other hand, Suina seemed to be enjoying the development and was humming along to the sound of the water falling down on them. A water elemental she might be, her actions still annoyed Clear. Still, he wasn't going to take it out on her for something that was obviously not her fault. The pile of rubble in the storage room looked like it was going to collapse at any second, so Clear thought it would be best to make haste.

On his right there was a pile of small items. On his left a pile of bigger ones. Their owner at least had some sorting sense, so if anything, the ocarina should be on the right pile. Yet how exactly he was going to go through all of these items was a mystery. Especially since the slightest wrong move was going to make this pile fall down on them and bury them for eternity. Pieces of paper, broken plates, childhood crafts, random metal junk, these were the items Clear unearthed. Obviously not something a person would need, Clear was frustrated at how many useless things Ganondork kept around his house. For some weird reason the pile was much more stable than it looked, Clear could easily take any item and place it next to the pile without it giving even a hint of moving. Sorting genius or dumb luck? It was probably the latter, if Ganondork was indeed so good at organizing his stuff he wouldn't be keeping these in the first place. That, and the fact that he had also gone through the bedroom and things were not exactly the tidiest there either. Clear was steadily reaching further into the pile's base, although it would be unlikely that the ocarina was going to be kept there.

While Clear was digging through one pile, the summon thought it to be very wise for himself to scour through the other pile, that which contained items at least twice the size of any normal ocarina. "Divide and conquer? No problem with that," he even merrily said, as he nonchalantly bent down and literally dragged the first item he could see out of a pile. It was a miracle, how stable the pile was; it barely even moved, much less all tumble down and bury the summon alive. Of course, the summon was clueless as to the potential dangers, and continued to pull out items one by one, examining them before throwing them off to the side disappointedly. What he failed to notice, was the fact that the more items he pulled out, the more the pile looked like a perfectly-constructed Jenga tower. "You know, I've never seen it rain indoors like this," the summon chattered, while flinging various useless objects left and right. "Does this happen all the time, everywhere now? I can't help but think, that the old fool San has something to do with this- ooh, a blue violin. Wait, we're not looking for that."

Back in the living room, Ganondork was still busy messing with the switches, which seemed not to be helping the situation at all. One button, and- "Whups, wait, no, that one intensifies the-" the water began pouring even harder. Quickly reversing the change, the man began to press a combination of switches and buttons, resulting in- well. "The water. Smells like Lavender. and is now. Colored. Pink," San flatly stated, as floral scents began to overwhelm the house, and anything easily dyable was turned a light shade of pink. "I know, I know, I almost got this, just a miscalculation," Ganondork said, continuing to mess with the panel. Several minutes, half a dozen colors, and twelve different fruit and flower scents later, he finally stopped the sprinkling. "Okay, there we go." Turning around, Ganondork found a highly disgruntled San, dripping wet as if someone sprayed a liquid rainbow on him, and smelling like a combination of lemon, strawberry, and kiwi. "Are you...alright?"

I want to kill him, and I wish for his death now.

Clear was visibly getting more annoyed as he had to go through a pile of trash while the sprinklers were dousing him with water of various colors and scents. "This is a fire alarm system. There are various sensors around the house which react to smoke. If the sensors come into contact with a specific amount of it, they start spraying water along the house to extinguish the fire. It's a rather efficient system to prevent fires from spreading, although in this particular case it seems to have gone off with no real reason. So yeah, we just have to endure it." Clear told the man. The sprinklers eventually stopped but by the time that happened the room was smelling like a flower garden, much to Clear's dismay. The same went for the water inside his gourd and Suina had now changed colors. She didn't seem to mind the color change, in fact she was visibly happy and giggling. "Girls and those stupid pink colors." Clear thought as he finished going through the pile. Nothing was left and there was no sign of anything that looked like an ocarina. What a waste of time this had been, there was no way they would have found it in such a place anyway.

Clear turned to look at the pile the other man was going through and to his horror he noticed that it was ready to fall apart. Why it hadn't done so earlier was a miracle in and of itself, but Clear quickly moved to stop the man's actions. "Stop this at once, can't you see that the pile is ready to collapse? Anyway, I don't think we can find the ocarina in this room." Clear told him and exited the room. But if the ocarina wasn't there either, where could it be? Was it perhaps in the living room San was currently in? If that was the case it kind of ruined their entire plan as they couldn't just take it in front of Ganondork. But wait, there was still one room they hadn't checked. It was kind of a far fetch, but when Clear got the man to leave the bathroom they didn't check it first. With his last hope laying there, Clear entered the bathroom to examine its contents. Apart from the toilet and the shower, there was only a small locker etched on the walls containing first aid supplies. Clear opened it and much to his relief there was a small blue ocarina inside it. Why, oh why would a person put an ocarina there? Was this Ganondork stupid or a genius, Clear couldn't decide. Now all that was left was an object as payback...

"Wait, so it wasn't here after all?" The summon asked, following Clear out of the room. "Are you certain?" he asked, while Clear was busy looking in the bathroom; he didn't see sense in re-entering it. "I mean, what if he had concealed it in a box in that big load of junk? Or actually, I don't think I saw a box, huh. That's-" of course, seeing Clear suddenly in possession of the ocarina, the summon couldn't help but gape in surprise. "How did you- were you hiding this the whole time?"

In the living room, San was just about ready to get in legal trouble for murder, when a more intelligent idea entered his mind. In fixing the switches, the unfortunate Ganondork had taken off his glove, and it was in fact lying right there on top of a coffee table; of course, the undead mage couldn't pass off the double kill. While Ganondork was busy looking over himself- "Well, this is unpleasant, I smell like roses" - San, with a swish of a finger, de-summoned the summon that was bothering Clear; the summon would instantly explode in a burst of bright multicolored sprites, which all vanished into the ground within moments, like bubbles but a tad bit more impressive.

Following de-summoning, San looked around, noted that windows, doors, and obstacles, and immediately afterwards summoned another figure right outside the living room door. Excuse me for this, Clear, but this is an opportunity I cannot pass up, he thought, as at once the door to the living room burst open with the arrival of a scarlet-armored figure. Naturally, Ganondork was surprised. "What the- who in the world are you?" he asked, pointing at the man. The summon cackled in response. "Me? Oh, that's easy. I'm just here to-" he did not finish his statement, as he vanished in a red blur, and reappeared next to Ganondork a moment later; across from them, San collapsed, as if dead. "-get rid of something that belongs to me."

When in doubt, make more distractions. Clear, if you're not grabb- even if you grab something, I'll be taking something too.
