Location Name:Shadow Art Facility: Elite Training (Privately Functioned) Location Area:Acacia near Grimoire Heart Location Descriptor: This is a privately owned training facility for GH. There can be many things here but it is not a place you want to cause trouble. Even though this is not owned directly by GH they consider it part of their guild. Anyone who tries to do harm to the facility is like attacking GH itself. Location Briefing: After a wealthy family member joined the guild the member helped build a training place for Grimoire Heart. Though it is designed for more then just GH members. It is also a place where rich people come to try and prove their own worth. The guild is not known to be connected to this as it is funded from outside the guild to have it created or protected or of anything else except that the guild members are all authorized to go there. The location is in the hard part of town, run down with suspicious looking people who would probably rob you if they were given half the chance. In the back of an ally way between two residential buildings, both of them look shady or just run down. Going from the south side of it there right side is some stairs leading down to a door, which does not go into the building above. The ally way is dark and covered in spider webs and trash. The door is made of oak with a slide peep hole to see who is coming to the door. There is a password needed that is chanced once a month, all members of GH know it and anyone else pays to know it. Behind the door is a hall way, painted gray. The lights are kept dim, although there is no chips in the paint or tiles it has the feel that it is dingy. The tiles are black and white and are in a checker pattern. There is seven doors painted the same color as the walls and ceiling, three on the left and three on the right, the one needed for the training room is in the center at the end of the hall. The one at the end of the hall goes to a metal spiral stair case, the walls are the same as the hall way before. The ground in the stair well is concrete. It is three story stair case with no exists but the bottom and top. There is only one door at the bottom, opening it changes the scenery completely. There is a large room that has all sorts of exercising facility equipment. there are rock walls, climbing nets, places to wall jump, things all over to climb on, vertical climbs, rope swings, with a bunch of other abstract things all to train the physical body in every measure. There is safety nets all over the place and most things were built to be fire proof, not counting the magic to cancel out all offensive magic. There are five doors in this giant room, one is the entrance and exist of the place. Another is on the left side from where you enter which leads to a weight room and a acrobatic/yoga room. Door opposite that one has a shooting range and locker rooms, relaxation areas. Then across for the entrance there is two more doors, one is guarded and can only be entered by VIPs, which has a special market that gathers items from all over the country to be sold in there. The room is installed with sleeping gas if someone tries to steal from there. The other room leads to an arena, the only place where you can fight anyone you find in there. No magic is allowed in those fights but you can physically brawl with anyone. Almost all guards to the place are unknown, only for the ones who work with the black market are ever seen. The others are training in the facilities. They will stop anyone who tries to cause trouble. Not all people who stop what is going on are guards though as there is GH guild members who will protect their place to train. Magic Items: Things from all over can be found here. Although there is no set price as everything depends on the dealer who brought it in but it is a good place to find an items you might want all in one simple location. NPCs: The Npcs here are strong and are used to the training facilities, so they can protect them. There is also normally a few Grimoire Heart guild members walking around, normally none that are well known. |

Location Name: The Fighters' Training Grounds Location Area: Central Fiore Location Descriptor:A small town where not very many people live. It's main purpose is to provide a secluded area for mages and knights and overall, anyone looking for a good workout to increase their skills and train there. Location Briefing:This town is located in the center of Fiore to be fair to everyone. It's purpose is to provide an area for people to increase their fighting skills, weather they be a mage, a Knight, or just someone looking for a workout. Upon reaching the front gate, you'll be asked to either buy a ticket, or show the person at the front a year's pass. After being let in, you'll be welcomed by a center plaza, with a large fountain directly in the center. The first thing you'll notice however, are three very very very large buildings. They are labeled, Knights, Mages and the last one is blank. These are the buildings for the respective people to train in, with the blank one being for the average jo looking for a workout. In the mages' building, you'll find secluded rooms with ample space, there, you're able to either train on your own, using the wide variety of equipment that they have available for you; or you could find a buddy to spar with or have a nice fight with. But remember, anything you break is the piece of crap that you'll have bought before you leave. *trollface* Also, located in all three of the buildings, are relaxation places where you can sit and just relax after a hard training regimen. Plus, they have conveniently located stores and restaurants where you can buy some snacks to eat, and water and refreshments to drink. In the Knights building, again there are spaces where you can train solo, or with a buddy. Not only that, but they have large areas where there are dummies to take out all of your frustrations on. Also, once a year there is a tournament that is held. In this tournament, all of the Knights compete in contained sparring matches to see who will be on top. The winner of this tournament receives a free one year pass for the town. Also, they are rewarded with a free one year lease of a town house located in the town. The same policy of you break it you buy it applies however. To be fair, there are stores and restaurants located here as well. In the blank building, for the avereage Jo, there are pools, workout rooms that have weights and everything you'll need to build up your muscles. And there is everything that the other buildings have in there as well. Not only that, but there is a hotel where you can relax your sore muscles afterwards. Hell, you could even stay the night if you so wished. However, this town isn't only a training town. Not many people live there, but there is however, still a few houses where people live. These are located beyond the three large buildings and there is everything that a town could need, including a school district, a grocery store, ect... So you see, this isn't just a training facility where you can work out, but this is also a place where there is a lovely community for you to live your life in. |

Location Name: Poppy Town Location Area: Western Fiore Location Descriptor: A city among the trees of the nearby forests, Poppy town is most notable for its reputation as a 'City in midair' which would exactly describe this area. It is a city comprised completely of tree houses with not a single structure touching the ground due to the fatal gases that the plants below emit Poppy town is notorious as a city for parties, concerts, and fear of the below. Location Briefing: Poppy town is located in the western edges of Fiore, lying in the heart of a valley formed by two mountains that are north east and south of it making the only traditional way of traveling from there west, around the mountains and to the gondola leading to poppy town. For you see, Poppy Town itself is not on the ground at all- that would be instant death thanks to the fatal gasses that are emitted by plants not he forest floor. No, instead Poppy town is located in the trees far above the forest floor where the people of this town can live safe without having to worry about dying in their sleep from poison. The original settlers of Poppy town learned this the hard way as the place was originally intended to be a mining town to get at the precious earth deep within the nearby mountains. Within the first few days of camping near the forest multiple settlers grew ill and died to the poison's emitted by the toxic plants. What was a settler to do? Simple. If you can't go through it, go over it. And thus the idea of Poppy Town was born. Collective travelers from nearby area's left their homes to live in this new city in the tree's with their loved ones for a new life and work at the mines. And after a good ten years the airborne city expanded greatly and prospered in good fortune thanks to their export of precious ore. Yet metal and iron was not the only current exported out of Poppy Town, death itself was harvested. The military began taking an interest in the area when they found that the various toxic gases emitted from the plants below could be harvested- and eventually unleashed upon their foes. Thus a great debate began, would poppy town continue its traditional route as a peaceful mining town or be swept up in the tidal wave of the military and its demands of toxic gases and other poisons. This issue has never truly been resolved and separates some of the people in the city- Toxins, represented the group wishing to support the military and provide lethal poison for profit; and Diggers, those who wished to continue a peaceful life in the mountainside supplying ore to Fiore in order to fund the town. The town itself is quite large. The gondola station ten miles west of the forest takes a good hour and a half to travel high enough to not be affected by the poisonous gases, and far enough to reach the town's station. At the town station many may find busy workers going about their duty and checking the support beams hourly for signs of stress and decay. This is the only normal way in and out of Poppy town, unless of course you plan on using magic powerful enough to arrive here. Moving out of the town station one finds him or herself moving through the many bridges and poking their heads into the fairly loud bars and inn's. The tree's that support this city grow to gargantuan sizes, towering over the forest floor with height that rivals a small skyscraper! Poppy Town's main hub is located at the center of the forest, supported by the largest and oldest tree which has been carved into to double as the town hall, among other facilities. There is a massive woodcarving of a man looking towards the town hall and the tree, inscribed on its pedestal it says "we will not fall down, we will rise above", in fact these words were the very verses uttered by the founder of Poppy Town Christoph Rasmuzan, a former dark mage turned light through rehabilitation and love. You may be wondering why Poppy town is such a paradise for party-goer's no? the answer is quite simple really, Homestead Brew. This local alcoholic beverage is world renowned for its hard punch and lasting effects upon the mind and body. Once a round of Homestead Brew, is passed around- you know that its going to be a long long and crazy night. This specific brew has been known to make people giddy as a mayfly and crave music or rhythm- something which the music industry is all too happy to fund. Thus the reputation of Poppy Town as a party paradise began- all thanks to Homestead Brew. However, not all is as easy going and happy as it seems. There are some people, specifically in the Toxin's, who wish to make a quick dollar by selling of poison to not just the military but to whoever will buy it. This illegal activity is greatly feared by the general populace of Poppy and the surrounding area's and has resulted in tight security at the gondola stations. If one single canister of that gathered poison gets out, it could spell disaster for people living in the way of the wind... |

Location Name: The Blightlands Location Area: Kingdom of Fiore - Notable Places Location Descriptor: Once a peaceful arctic tundra used as farm lands for centuries, the area has since been corrupted by a mysterious substance known as blight which has been killing crop and destroying nature. Ever since it's appearance which coincided with a cataclysmic incident which created a massive crater, life has been hard on those who hope to make a sustainable living out here. However, it is by no means easy as food shortage, wild animal attacks, and other such hardships are common in these arctic wastelands. However, the people who still inhabit this place are hardy, and the Fioren government offers ample help. Despite this, one can not shake the feeling that something sinister waits in the heart of the land. Location Briefing: Existing along the edge of the Glacial Flats lies an area known as The Blightlands. once teeming with life, the Blightlands has been struck with devastation in the past few decades. The Blightlands once teemed with life, it's name hasn't always been as such. It has been struck with devastation in the past few decades, creating a sinister corruption that threatens to spread out, though it has thankfully been contained to an extent. The area gets its name due to the malignant substance known as blight, a disease that rapidly corrupts land, soil, and weakens the immune system of animals upon long-term exposure. As a result, the land is slowly, gradually dying. Crops are rotting and dying constantly, and what little manages to grow is never enough to feed everybody. The Fiorean government actively supplies the Blightlands with food and secondly protection. Numerous villages and farms are surrounded by the blight, which seems to creep along the ground and slowly spreads. The blight itself appears to look at first like a black tar or oil-like substance, thick and viscous. It also appears to manifest tendrils of sorts, wrapping itself around nature. It also creates large "blight crystals", which are only found here in the Blightlands. Few know what actually brought the blight to Fiore or how to combat it, though it fortunately seems to only spread in very cold climate. Strangely, these blight crystals have a market of their own, and some dangerous adventures and entrepreneurs seek to harvest them to turn profits as they serve as a powerful energy source not unlike lacrima. It can be assumed that they are essentially lacrima but only corrupted by the encroaching blight. The true nature and source of the blight is uncertain, however it draws parallels to a incident that occurred in Fiore several decades ago. A massive airburst had occurred within the heart of the Blightlands, causing nearby wildlife to die or otherwise disappear. Theorists believe that it was the result of some sort of asteroid or other space-related phenomenon, which may seem likely due to a massive crater, known as the Pestilent Scar, located in the area. However, others have theorized that it could be anything from a miraculous plasma storm, covert weapons testing, or extremely powerful mages battling it out. Whatever the cause the end result is extremely evident - blight is spreading out from the center of the area and slowly spreading out. What was once a simple arctic tundra biome has been clearly corrupted. Flat lands have rapidly changed to craggy ridges and outcroppings surrounded by blight crystals, and countless areas now resemble bogs and swamps. Dangerous creatures can also be sighted inhabiting the area, some of which have appeared only after the appearance of the blight. Species such as Blight Flayers, savage bipedal clawed beings who harvest the crystals for unknown reasons, countless mutated or diseased native animal species, bog beasts and swamp monsters, and countless other terrors. It is recommended that travelers stray from the Blight Lands, or at the very least stick to the beaten and paved roads. Knights hold several strongholds here in order to protect the citizens, always wary and vigilant for something in the center of the land seems to stir. Edited by Mazohyst, Sep 18 2012, 05:06 AM.

Location Name: Rook of Reguul Location Area: Sanzibar Desert Location Descriptor: A small village which contains mainly marketed stores. It is known as the trade center for Sanzibar. If you wanted something trade and sent across the desert, or if you wanted to sell or buy illegal merchandise, this is your place. What is most noticeable about the village is the tall tower that is centered and stands scraping the sky and piercing the clouds. Location Briefing: Years after the first magical war against the counsel, Reguul Redwing created a tower that reached past the clouds and possibly even touched the atmosphere; the diameter of the tower is said to be equal to that of thirty meters. He created this to isolate himself and keep the counsel from ever using him or his magical creations to cause war or any harm ever again. Travelers would climb the ‘Ever-stairs’ that spiraled within the tower to try and reach the top, however it is said that no one has ever made it up there. Each floor they passed, there were several rooms for different occasions. There have been times when a group of adventurers dared to climb the stairs and finally reaching Reguul, making it an achievement for fame. After an entire week of traveling up the spiral staircase, a group finally reached a point where breathing became impossible; those who didn’t pass out turned around and headed back down. Centuries passed, people created a small village around the Tower of Reguul for tourist, but over time, the town became more of a hotspot for trade, and blackmarkets. A number of people actually took shelter within the tower, actually calling the tower it’s own town with all the people he housed. After centuries of wonder, few people believe Reguul still lives at the top of the tower. |

Location Name: Redaria Location Area: Sanzibar Desert Location Descriptor: A huge city-ruin in the middle of the Sanzibar Desert that is rumoured to be the leftovers from a great civilasation and a huge catastrophy. In the middle of the city lies a big building that once were the Imperial Palace where the Emperor ruled with an iron fist. It is now center of many myths and legends and rumours. There are only a few stone houses standing and if you are lucky (or unlucky) you can occasionaly find bones from people. Location Briefing: A long time ago in the middle of what today is called Sanzibar Desert there existed a city, a large city housing over a million people that was the capital of a country long forgotten by Man, the city was prospering, thriving in gold with succesfull trade politics, the city was the home of many mages, scientists, artists, military leaders and so during it's prime, the country was leading in most areas, for example magical research, military and sciene only to name a few. Noone really knows why the population left or why the once great capitol city is now nothing more but an unimportant ruin in the middle of the desert, there are speculations however that the city was destroyed during the battle of two of the strongest mages who have ever lived, Selene the Light and the mage knows as The Fallen. Then we have other theories suggesting that a huge natural catastrophy engulfed the city and forced the people to leave, as scientists have found evidence that the Sanzibar Desert was once a landscape that flourished with grass, trees and various kinds of vegetation. We do know from ancient records that the city's name was Redaria and that it was the center of a country ruled with an iron fist by a man called the Emperor, there is no further record of any other rulers (that has been discovered) so it is a high probability that the Emperor wished to wipe his predessesors from the face of History. Right now the ruins serve no purpose but a restingplace or popular view for the people that are traveling between the countries and even though there is no law or rule that forbids it, the goverments and law-enforcements are strongly encouraging people NOT to go near it, not to mention using it as a restingplace, even on the day not to mention on the night. During recent years people who have stopped to rest at the ruins have mysteriously been disappearing and last time one of these incidents happened, the Fioran law-enforcement sent out a squad to search for them, only one member returned and had been literaly scared half to death, the member shouted about ghosts and demons haunting that place. Another expedition, a larger one was sent to the ruins and found a few bodies, they had been ripped apart and it looked more like a wild, huge beast had done it than ghosts or demons, the law-enforcement officialy said it was the work of a paramilitary groups and rogue-mages and that they would deal with it sooner or later. Perfect excuse since the ruins has been used before as an HQ for various paramilitary organisations, roguemages and other criminals. It is rumoured that beneath the ruins there lies a huge hall along with tunnels that were used for protection of the citizens, military purposes and horrid magical experiments. The goverments of the nearbying countries have started various discussions between each other about what to do about the ruins and the so called "ghosts". People who have ventured there and survived claims to have seen ghosts and hear piercing screams at night when the full moon stands high upon the sky, makes you wonder what happened there all those years ago doesn't it? Was the country and the city so angelic as they were described during ancient time?.... Edited by Darion, Sep 19 2012, 07:39 AM.

Location Name: Swordsman's Peak Location Area: Kingdom of Fiore - Notable Places (Western Coast of Fiore) Location Descriptor: The Swordsman's Peak is a world cultural location since it is home to the Tamakagahara Shrine, the HQ of the Shinto faith in the west and a training ground for warriors of all callings across the lands due to its extreme weather along with deadly flora & fauna. Its peak is both the tallest and the farthest point from the planet's core with an outstanding height of 17,397 km, making it the largest man-made mountain. Location Briefing: The creation of the Swordsman’s Peak is arguably one of the largest and most ambitious projects in human history, and it was original done for the singular purpose of it serving as prison for a single being; Oda Nobunaga. Zeref was to the west what Nobunaga was to the east, only difference lied in that Nobunaga didn’t summon demons and used them as an army; he was a singular force of ass-kicking of apocalyptic proportions. Armed with both overwhelming might and a ruthless guile and he brought the Haolei empire to its knees, by single-handily instigating the dawn of the era warring estates which send the second largest and oldest empire in recorded history to a period of chaos and political agitation that nearly tore it apart. It was during the End of the Sengoku Era that Tokugawa Ieyasu re-united the land and finally, realizing the source of all the trouble could be traced to the demon king of the sixth heaven, Emperor Yozei summoned the nakatomi clan and sent them along with ieyasu forces to the gates of oda, along with them were several wizard saints sent by the magic council as envoys to help quell the chaos. These forces met with an army of demon after Nobunaga purposely tore a hole in reality, opening a gate to the yomi thus began the epic battle of sekigahara which took almost a weeks of non-stop fighting against a single individual as the nakatomi were the only one's fighting the demon hordes while the rest of their forces attacked nobunaga . However, even the combined might of countless samurais, the best Qi users in all the empire along several of the most powerful mages in earthland could stop the awesome might of Nobunaga, only slow him to a near-halt, like stalling a lion by throwing sedated deer’s into its den. With the cost of keeping Nobunaga "captured" rising, the only effective way to contain the chaos was to seal him away in the same manner as zeref was but even that was challenging, since he drew his energy from the Yomi’s virtually unlimited Qi reserves so no amount of sealing could contain the power of the entire planet, eventually Ieyasu had an idea: To seal nobunaga at the farthest point possible from the planet’s core, his source of power, and then place a seal around the location that would prevent nobunaga from ever leaving, with the nakatomi clan working as the seal keepers. The only problem with the plan was that there was no place tall enough to completely disconnect him from earth existed so he decided to make one. So in a joint effort between the Magic Council, the Fioran Royal Family, the Nakatomi clan and the Tokugawa shogunate, countless earth mages and scholars were gathered to construct or better said, summon the largest man-made construction in the planet and the creation of the peak still remains to this day the largest quantity of ether ever used in a single instance in all human history as the edea count went over 4 trillion edea. In comparison, the most powerful spell in human possession, the Etherion, only generates around 2.7 billion edeas when fired. The drain was such on the planets ether that the area around the peak itself is permanently devoid of ether, making the use of magic immensely difficult and historical record say that all magic disappeared on the western hemisphere for 5 days after the rising of the peak. The peak was fully rise at the year x406, and the construction of the shrine to hold the seal began immediately after the Nakatomi moved in and placed the seal. Thus it the threat of nobunaga was effectively ended so the project was deemed an absolute success but King Richard, always the innovator thought: why stop there? Seeing he just built something that would probably outlast his kingdom and maybe humanity itself, why not go all the way and use all that space between the peak and the ground to make something awesome? He went and did just that by finding taking every endangered vicious flora and fauna around the world and placed it on the peak, and then he proceeded to alter the climate to be even harsher that it already was and use the location as training area for his knights. Ieyasu, seeing the opportunity to harden his men and demonstrate the power of the empire, sent his own samurai to the peak and offered to make them damyio should they reach the peak of mountain before richard’s knights did. And thus the tradition of the swordsman’s festival was born as countless warriors challenged what it’s called ‘the world’s deadliest mountain’ as proof of their martial skill. Geography Geographically speaking, The Swordsman’s Peak is actually two mountains joined together as if they were Siamese twins, the regular mountain which was originally much smaller but it was used as a base for the magic that supports the massive stone pillar that was built. Both mountains are joined to one another through a relatively thin wall that lets a small river flow from down the peak and unto the pillar plateu where the shrine is found and then producing one of the most breathtaking waterfall that spills it glacier cool contents to the earth The climate around the area is mostly humid tropical type but the mountain ecosystem has changed the weather drastically, making it common for thunderstorms to occur, temperatures can rises to almost 150 degree celcius during a heat burst to drop to a -40 degree celcius half-way to the top. Most if not all the flora and fauna in here was either bred or naturally adapted to survive yet they all carry one singular truth, they are fatally dangerous to the average human armed with a sword and nothing else. Location Name: Exploding Mines of Mt. Gilimancaro Location Area: Mt. Gilimancaro Some Music to Listen to as you read. Location Descriptor: On the Western side of the peak of Mt. Gilimancaro there is an entrance to a mine that only opens after the last ray of sunshine has hit it. After that point in time this door shall only be open for seven minutes and after that will be closed shut for another twenty four hour period. That is only the first obstacle of many in these mines. The next thing one would encounter is that the head room is very short in these mines as it seemed to be mined out by dwarfs who have been rumored to be extinct for thousands of years now. It also isn’t a direct path but seems to be a maze filled with traps, creatures and to make it even harder the rocks within the mine been imbued with runes that feel too much pressure, heat, or are even stepped on in the wrong way. Not to mention countless amount of TNT traps! It seems to be engineer not by one but many geniuses yet insane mines who are paranoid of their fortress being invaded. Location Briefing: Built by the dwarfs thousands years ago the Exploding mines are the only entrance to the rumor last fortress city of the dwarfs from the ages of old. No any living creature besides the rumored dwarfs have ever been able to make it through the maze or at least alive as there has been have been account of dead bodies of adventures found at the entrance of this mine seemingly carried by some form of intelligent being. This mine is recommended to be explored by only the most experienced and battle hardened people as it is likely that one after completing the maze would be greet by an angry Dwarven army, have supposedly captured beast from hell itself and put them in their maze to stop any wood be hero’s. The traps also tend to be feats of mechanical engineering powered by steam that would unleash boiling oil, spike traps, arrow walls, and pits of lava, cave in and of course the trap of choice for dwarfs TNT. Yes dynamite and tons of it are in the exploding mines and that is how it got its name there have even been reports of people feeling the ground tremble from the explosives miles away! Not only did they use a ton of TNT but they’ve even imbued the majority of rocks there with runes that will make them explode with the lightly touch. Many false treasure that glimmer with gold and diamonds that are sit to explode with even the slightly touch would doom most people. Some even say they’ve managed to capture a dragon but few believe that and say if anything it is a mechanical dragon that the dwarfs have created over the Millennia. Isolated for so many years almost anything is possible especially since they were considered some of the greatest crafters t ever exist in the world. Edited by Dran, Sep 27 2012, 06:44 PM.
