Fairy Tail Guild RP Current News

Hey everyone, it's me, your Lord and Savior, your Once and Future King, and your new Admin-for-Life Unlimit Sendo. I'm here to drop some turnbuckle-diving elbows and awesome news. There's been some relatively small updates to rulings regarding summon familiars and single summons. Additionally, there's also been a pretty big update in regards to the AP shop which reorganizes it and adds a ton of new stuff. You can find that in the AP Shop section under Item Creation. Check it out.

Location Name: Gravity Zero

Location Area: South Fiore

Location Descriptor: Gravity Zero is an island that was once a piece of North Fiore. Now sitting in the Sea south of Fiore, it is home to one of the most bizarre phenomena of Earthland. The Land has locations of alternate gravity.

Location Briefing:

The island from the distance seems to be one solid land mass. As you get closer to the tall mountain floating in the water, one would soon discover it actually isn't touching the water at all. It is floating 20 meters above the surface. The solid mountain is actually large chunks of rock orbiting each other with 5 meters of clearance between each chunk. Each chunk can is roughly 100 meters across, though sizes vary.

Getting within 3 meters of a chunk, one would find out the truth about these chunks. Each one has it's own Earth Like gravitational pull. Since each chunk is just outside of this 3 meter pull, they pass by each other without ever colliding. To move from chunk to chunk, one just simply needs to cross the 3 meter zone of one chunk and enter the 3 meter zone of another chunk. With each chunk having it's own individual gravity, a person can walk normally on one chunk, leap up into the air, and land on the underside of another chunk as if it was the normal ground.

This island was created when a mountain was utterly destroyed in the clash of two powerful Gravity Magi. The iron ore of the mountain reacts quickly to Gravity and Magnetic Magics making it harder for these magi to use spells.

Location Name: Pinpin Toshi
Location Area: North Fiore
Location Descriptor: The town is a lively place to enjoy, when you come to North Fiore. It's a place that never sleeps, and there are people always outside making some type of noise. Its usually has the spring time feeling around it, with a bit of its really hot summer days. People in this town don't see snow unless they travel to other places. It has very modern houses all around the area with their local stores, and Inns where people who come, and go can rest up, and restock their supplies. Its located South of Makahiya Village.
Location Briefing: Pinpin Toshi is a crazy place to visit. People do whatever they want as long as they aren't breaking the law. When that happens they usually get warnings depending on how serious it is. Everyone seemed friendly with each other with the minor problems of people arguing from time to time when they are influence by things. Still people in this town know each other as if they all grew up together, and were willingly to grow old together. There are usually a bunch of different parties around the town. That's how the people in this time spend their time.

The local stores around the town have items that could be found anywhere else. They are above the average price, but people can bargain their way to get the price back to normal, or even reducing the price by a lot. Inns are all over the town. Well actually there are only five of them. One in the north side of the town, east, west, south, and the last one being in the middle of the town. This is usually because of the loads of tourist that come to this town, and relax here. The Inns make a lot of money with the amount of people that come to this town with their exceptions to do all that they can in this place.

Its nothing like their neighbors at Makahiya Village. People wonder why that, but it seemed like a lot of people moved to this place. It was probably because of how the other village had become. They never see snow, or any really extreme cold weather. People in this town have a Local tale about why they don't expect any type of snow. There was a weather wizard who had funded this town, and had governed it. He was having the time of his life, and giving everyone who lived there freedom, and doing whatever they want as long as they don't fight with one another.

That was when their village was attack, and the weather wizard was curse, so that he could never use any type of weather magic that had to do with the cold. It put him at a disadvantage, but there was one thing he could do to stop the invasion. He sacrificed himself to get rid of the people that were attacking the village, and from there the town never seen a snowing day, or had any type of cold weather. They would feel breeze every now and then, but it wasn't that big of a deal. People tell this tale to their kids because of the amount of questions they get to why it doesn't snow here. Some people believe this tale, but nobody really knows for sure.

Location Name: River Vista
Location Area: Kingdom of Fiore – Regions – East Fiore
Location Descriptor: Located in the middle of a large lake in East Fiore, River Vista is a harbor city that is completely set on the water. It is held in place by a magical item somewhere around the city.
Location Briefing: River Vista is not only a place where people like to visit but also one of the largest fishing cities in Fiore. Free from the ties of land, the harbor city is set in the middle of a lake. Thanks to the magical item (Which the whereabouts are not given so no one can go and steal it) the city never gets pulled by the current and stays perfectly in the middle. To get to the city one would normally catch a small fairy that goes from the bank to the city that arrives every hour. Otherwise it’s up to the traveler to get there.

At the edges of the city are the harbors that home all the city’s boats. If a family has lived there a long time more than likely they own one or two of the boats seen there. Stepping into the city itself one would find two things that stand out. One would be how the houses look and two would be the cannels. The further you would go into the middle of the city the more you would notice how crapped and tall the homes and shops tend to get. This is because the very center is both the shopping district and the most populated. On the outskirts live the richest people who need the space. The cannels that are located alongside the housing and walkways are the easiest mode of transportation. It is seen as the city’s highway.

Most people living in the center of town. Though it takes awhile to get to the harbor it is a good trade off. Besides the fact that it is where most of the shopping is located, it is also the starting place of the River Races held every year on June 21 to mark summer. It is a big event that brings all types of people to the city to participate. Most do it for the fun of it, others for the victory. However it is always a good place to have a good time.

Location Descriptor: A newly reconstructed and a developing city situated just a mile south-east of Crocus in the Recto Mountain Range, Recto Valley is filled with thriving corporations of various businesses and with newly established magical schools along with other Universities. The valley slowly becomes a center point for both magic and non magic users to live in since its not only close to the capital but also connects to various regions of the kingdom with its new railway system.

More infrastructures and buildings were built as the city prosper and as it expands, the valley starts to have a higher standard of living compared to what once it was. As the Recto Valley expands and became a well known place, it also opened its door on building schools not only for those who wanted to have good quality of education but also those who wanted to study magic. With its new and one of the most advanced railway system mainly using its own technologies, it will only take for about a couple of hours from Recto Valley to get to Kunigi Station which will then connect to the other cities and towns. But as much as how advanced the valley became and the interest of investors is the interest of those with bad intentions. But with the Valley's very own security along the kingdom's military, there's nothing to worry about.

Location Name: Zephyr Pass
Location Area: West Fiore
Location Descriptor: A middling-sized town in the middle of a canyon of crystal, shined to a polish by the constant winds that race through the pass and giving the town its name.
Location Briefing: Zephyr Pass was named appropriately after the whipping winds that race through the canyon of crystal the town is planted in. The town was formed years ago to provide supplies and shelter for travelers crossing the fields of Fiore, but the way the wind gets focused as it gets squeezed between the canyon walls makes some beg to differ about it truly being a place of shelter. The crystals that make up the immensely sized canyon walls were formed over years of bitter winds and rock formations, the winds outside the canyon being not quite as fierce, but full of sand and grit.

The locals decided to use what they had available, which were two things: Crystals and wind. The town now has a small reputation for selling wind crystals to tourists that function as miniature fans until their magic needs replenishing. Some of the locals even built their homes from the sometimes smooth, sometimes rocky crystals.

Largely a pit stop on the way to bigger places and destinations, the pass has nevertheless been a somewhat busy spot in recent years.

★★★Urano Metria!★★★
Location Name: Fairy Hills
Location Area: Magnolia
Location Descriptor: One of the old structures in Magnolia, located on the top of a hill in the west side of Magnolia.
Location Briefing:

Fairy Hills is a large and mildly imposing building composed of bricks. It consists of a central, elongated section at whose sides sit two wings protruding outwards, with the one to the center's right acting as the main entrance, which takes the form of a double door with a pyramid-shaped upper part topped by a similarly pyramid-shaped roof, held up by wooden beams. Enforcing the multitude of standard bricks on the edges and marking rectangular sections in the central part are larger, lighter bricks lined up in vertical rows, with light beams instead marking sections horizontally. The front part of the building possesses a porch adorning the central part, with a steep tiled roof split in sections by beams being held up by simply wooden pillars paired with arcs. The two wings are each adorned by small numbers of large, arched windows, while the central section's windows are similar in design, but noticeably smaller and more numerous. Each section possesses an elongated, pitched roof composed of tiles; the wings, beneath such roof, have round windows adorning their top part. Sitting in front of the entrance, held up by two pillars composed of stone and bricks, flanking the pathway leading to the building, and each topped by the sculpture of a stylized Fairy Tail's symbol, is a large, mildly arched sign reading "Fairy Hills" in sober, elongated dark characters.

The rent is 100,000 jewels a month but girls can have multiple rooms so the rent can increase from there. Discounts are not possible.

The lobby sits right behind the main entrance. It is an elongated room which possesses wooden floor and ceiling, and its walls, enforced by beams, are composed of bricks in their lower part. To the entrance's right sits the wooden counter, complete with a flowerpot, a lamp and some stationery. Behind it, a door is visible, leading to an unknown room or a closet, and not far a small picture is secured to the wall, with a large door without shutters leading to an unspecified room to the right. In front of the counter is a carpet with intricately decorated edges, over which sits a short table with round edges, with its central part covered by a rhomboidal ornamental tablecloth. Flanking such table are a sofa and an armchair, complete with extra, small matching pillows. Behind the armchair, farther into the room, are small, elongated shelves housing book, topped by various objects, among which is a flowerpot, and a large window with double curtains faces outwards; adorning its inner ledge are a flowerpot, a cartoonish plushie or statue, and an elongated vase. The rest of the room seems to be pretty bare. A staircase is located on the other side of the lobby from the entrance, and at its left is a door. Lighting the room, is a simple wooden chandelier.

Whilst each Fairy Hills' room comes with its own private bathroom, the dormitory has an open bath area nonetheless, where the girls can enjoy bathing with fellow tenants. Such room is shown to be majestic, with horizontal panels decorated by intricate motifs topping the various, rectangular mirrors lined up the walls of the section to the entrance's right, each possessing a basin and a matching, small decorative seat. Such section has a tiled roof and bears a large, square-shaped and intricately decorated pillar on its left edge, holding up the ceiling. The room's left part is completely occupied by a very large, rectangular pool, full of water and of an incredible amount of lather, obscuring the former from sight. Such part is thought to bear resemblance to the outside world, as shown from its walls, on which a light sky adorned here and there by clouds is painted, and from a large, ornamental rocky formation occupying the pool's right part.

The dormitory's basement houses a resource room, which, despite not being as good as Fairy Tail's main one, is quite large and houses every current and previous tenant's record of work. Such room is highly decorative, with the ceiling protruding on the walls below in arched section, creating vaults, and the arched staircase leading down to the resource room being flanked by a balustrade which as a protruding, semicircular section, somehow reminiscent of a church's pulpit. Another staircase is visible on the other side of the room, leading down from a mezzanine held up by beams. The walls' upper part seems to be covered in lamps, while pictures are visible on the lower part of the wall flanking the arched staircase. Lined up against most walls are large shelves packed full of books, which can be consulted on the large, decorated table sitting in the center of the room, always covered in books and documents, and flanked by two sofas. A small piece of furniture again housing books is visible nearby.

Location Name: Yuma Village
Location Area: East Fiore
Location Descriptor: Yuma is a small fishing village located on the north-eastern part of Fiore. There is not that much to note about it, the people living there make their living as simple fishermen and are pretty much cut out from the rest of the world. Its dock is only used by the locals so making your way to this village is usually done by foot or a personal boat.
Location Briefing: Yuma is located on one of the most north-eastern shores of Fiore. Surrounded by sea from every side, there is only one path to get to that village by land, and that path is also covered by hills, though not particularly tall ones. The sea surrounding the village is filled with reefs, save for a rather small area where the villagers dock their fishing boats. There are no boats coming from or going to this dock, it is only used by the local fishermen. There is also no train or other means of transport, so this village is pretty much isolated from the rest of the world.

The people of Yuma make a living by themselves; most of them are fishermen because the land is mostly barren. There is little land that can be cultivated but it’s enough to supply the village. For that reason they also do not breed animals because feeding them would be impossible. The only meat the villagers eat is from the fish they catch in the sea. That said, there is no trade going on with any other area of Fiore, the village sustains itself perfectly.

The design of the buildings is pretty simplistic as well. They are mostly made out of wood with the exception of one building, the mayor’s, which is made out of stone. Despite their feeble looks, the buildings are pretty sturdy and can survive even the harshest weather the sea can shoot at them. Strong winds and rain are not a rare occurrence and thus the buildings are made to be able to endure that. Architecture was never a strong point of the villagers so there is not much design, the buildings look pretty ugly, both the interior and the exterior. The people prefer durability over beauty.

The population of the village is pretty low, not more than a hundred people total live there. There is not much to see in the village itself, so there are rarely any visitors there, but the locals treat anyone that happens to end up there kindly. They will offer both accommodation and food to anyone free of charge; they don’t use any currency after all. The villagers are aware of jewels and their value; they just rarely get the chance to use them. If a visitor wants any item from the village, something that also happens rarely, they are free to trade something of their own for it, or even pay in jewels.

A little further from the regular buildings and closer to the sea, there is a residence where a single man makes his house. That man is called crazy by the villagers and rumor has it that he never grows old. He left the village on his own when the stories he told the rest of the village all the time were met with laughter and ridicule. He spoke of impossible events of the past, things he shouldn’t have known or been there to witness. The kids seem to love the old man and his stories and the villagers don’t mind him much; it was of his own free will that he left them to be alone.

It should be noted that the villagers are completely inept at using magic. It is in very rare cases that a child is born with the ability to manipulate magic, and even in those cases it usually has something to do with manipulating water or plants. For that reason any magic is seen as foreign to the villagers and they can be easily impressed by simple feats that would be otherwise completely common in a big city or town.

The villagers lead a peaceful life, never meddling with others and never being hostile to people. They don’t have any guards or security though the men of the village are not to be taken lightly. They are using their bodies to survive every day so they can hold their own in a fight, although they have no actual combat experience. They are sturdy and stubborn; they will never let any harm befall their home. Even if it is a completely plain area with nothing to note, they love it as it is their homeland.

Dark Lorde of the Sith

Location Name: Under-City
Location Area: Trillium
Location Descriptor: The remains of a previous city, perhaps Old Trillium, that were discovered after an opening caused by the arrival of the Queen Dragon, Astrea. It's unknown what these ruins hold or contain, but there is one thing to be sure of - watch out for the shadows.
Location Briefing: Under-City, the name given to the remains of a lost city found buried under Trillium and with no real evidence or discoveries to call it otherwise it was simply called 'Under-City'. With no real discovery teams available due to Trillium's poor state, the opening - a cavern of sorts leading directly underground - was cornered and closed off to prevent tempted civilians from wandering into the unknown and possibly not returning. After a while, a discovery team of sorts delved into the cavern and they began to explore the ruins beneath.

The 'team' entered and as they delved deeper, almost an entire twenty feet, they entered into an opening of sorts to which they soon found to be the remnants of a building. What they found next was the city itself, the remains of a lost city right under Trillium itself. Light was scarce, but the team had brought with them lights in the form of laciryma crystals in which they simply threw up into the air and they shone, providing a nice area with light, and they continue to shine to this day. Splitting into groups, they searched the lost ruins trying to see what they found and it proved to be their best idea and yet their worst mistake.

Placing up Light Crystals wherever they went, the team furthered their search trying to find out more of this ruined city. They discovered everyday items such as knives, forks, plates, even books - although they were barely readable. They came to a meeting place in a library, in which they found a single room bearing only a single box on a single table, nothing else. The team, being humans, were naturally curious and as such they opened the box, a wave of black fog like smoke leaked out of the box and out of the room, dissipating away. Confused and annoyed at finding nothing else, the team left not realizing that they had just opened Pandora's Box. Upon returning to the surface, the team, well only one of the survivors. The survivor told of what he - his team found before they were taken by ... Shadows, according to the survivor.

The city itself is like any city, although not as nearly as updated as Trillium itself it's buildings are of old make and structure from a more simpler time and almost no technology can be found or even sighted, except for the Light Crystals dotted around the place to provide light. There's not much else you'll find here except for ruins, although not all of the city has been discovered so you may find something of interest - just make sure to stay out of the shadows...
