Location Name: Avalon Location Area: Notable Places Location Descriptor: Avalon - The land of the dead. The echoes of what once existed now shimmers in a ghostly fashion in a endless land of hilly grass while the dead planet dies in the skies above. The spirits of the dead will greet you kindly, but do remember where the exit lies. Location Briefing: Avalon is a compressed dimension. It belongs in another plain of existence, but after the destruction of the planet, it resulted as this. It is now a wide expanse of green hills that run endlessly with no end in sight. The entrance itself is a simple 2m tall and 1m wide door that is completely black. One can pass through the door without any ramifications, just please move out the way once you pass through or else you'll jam up the line. Along the lands of Avalon there are fields of flowers which sway in the winds. Their numbers are great and they cannot be destroyed as they are ethereal themselves. Other than these ethereal flowers, there are echoes of what existed on Avalon prior to its destruction. Large towns can appear out of now where, even cities that have changed over the eras are overlapping each other melding the differences together. Some of the more notable places on Avalon is the capital known as the Divine States. It is a large citadel that has six distinct eras that are combined into one. The technology of the world is a place where it combines magic and machine together. Each era has influenced the style of which the buildings are laid out, what buildings are available and the designs of said buildings. The eras reflect the period of the Noble Empire, the Crumbling Age, the Renaissance, the Modern Age, the Cybernetic Age and the Dying Age. The Noble Empire was when the Divine States became into existence. It was the place for political power and governance to begin on Avalon. Thus many of the structures that belong in the Noble Empire are those which have administrative uses. Whether it is to govern the city, make laws or stage military attacks on others, it is a place that is festering with lies deceit and trickery. The Crumbling Age was when the Divine States control and was usurped from within. As a result the citadel became a slum and many were impoverished. The divide between rich and poor runs rampant in these parts as crime is the primary source of gaining both monetary funds and power. Be careful when you make a pass through this part of the Divine States as those filled with despair might act out in desperation. The Renaissance was when the Divine States was rebuilding itself. It was a time of culture and fanfare bolstering street festivals and celebrations. It was a time of where the masses would commune together in the streets and the parades would culture the citizens. It is a place where it would be considered medieval. Stone buildings, market stalls and inns littering the place. The Modern Age was when the glory of the festivals and celebrations died down and piece reigned over the land. It was a time where everyone worked together and resembles the current day Fiore. People working together to make a living and banding to fight off any foes. What one can find in Fiore, one can find in this part of the citadel. The people here are happy and grateful and has not learned the fear of poverty or war. The Cybernetic Age was when the Divine States started to move forwards. Mixing Magic and Technology together to create something that everyone could use. This part of the citadel is a place where new technologies and machines ran the place automatically making everyone's life easier and more complacent. Doors automatically opened up as you walk to them. The streets lit up when it got dark. Holographic images and displays allowed real time talk and chat on a flat screen opposed to a giant Lacryma ball. The Dying Age is a war ridden age. This part of the citadel is in a far worse condition than the Crumbling Age. Ruins strewn the streets and the citizens are in despair. Death lies all around them as periodic attacks laid siege to the citadel. Constantly under attack, the section of the Dying Age is the end result of a battlefield. Within the Divine States, the ghostly memories of people past can be seen living out their lives fully aware of their death. A side effect of the death of their world and the creation of Avalon, those who lived on the dead planet now exist eternally in a new world. Caught between the rifts of space and time, a second chance or a curse? It is up to them to make that decision and thus they will continue existing, but never moving forwards with their lives. Throughout the grassy plains that surround the Divine States exists an ever changing landscape, replaying the history of the world. Yet the world itself, Avalon can be seen high in the sky. It is now a barren wasteland where everything has died and turned to sand. What was lost cannot be claimed and Avalon stands as a testament to the annihilation of a planet. Location Briefing: Togenkyo is a lavishly beautiful mountainous town, filled with flowers and plant life. The people that live here are laid-back, care-free and welcoming. A large percentage of the citizens who live here have moved from Makahiya Village. There aren't even any paved streets, just green grass and houses are made from red bricks. In the far northern part of the town is a huge ancient tree guarded and worshiped by all residents. The tree is very old, but produces extravagantly delicious fruit that seems to cure locals of illness's. According to the townspeople, Togenkyo Town was once a barren, desolate hill due to all the fighting and war. After the war, people started planting flowers around it to cheer up the place, but nothing would grow. They would simply die. Suddenly, a beautiful woman seemingly made of plants, blessed the whole area with magical power growing flowers of extravagant colors and trees with delicious fruit. Exhausted, the woman collapsed and threw what was left of her life energy into the ground. Later on becoming the large tree they worship today. As bandits/people with bad intentions attempt to cross the border of their peaceful utopia, the tree would slowly drain their stamina. |

Location Name: Alesian Forest Location Area: Notable Places Location Descriptor: The famed Alesian forest is a dark and mysterious forest constantly shrouded in mists and eerily silent as the graveyard, There is no civilization inside or around the cursed forest, just scattered bones and destroyed dreams remain, the trees seem naturally health and unopposing as though there it is a normal forest, its not the landscape itself you have to worry about at first. Location Briefing: This famed forest only seems to exist in stories and legends anymore as though everyone had forgotten the terrible wars that were waged within the boundaries of this terrible forest. At a first glance one would assume this to be a standard forest just rather shrouded in mists, normally paid no mind many a fool has wandered into this cursed forest that is haunted by the many souls of those who died in bloody battles, scattering their enemies corpses eagerly to the earthen floor. Cursed by powerful magics the forest floor is still littered with various weapons, armor, and seemingly still fresh corpses with blood splattered on the earth and trees, all of which seem to cause madness the longer you stay within the boundaries of the forest itself slowly draining you of your will to live before you too become a lost soul trapped here foreever. The forest shifts and moves hungrily as people enter causing and battles or magics cast to make the forest lash out in hungry greed seeming to want nothing more than have a meal and rend the living limb by limb. Those smart enough to avoid this forest claim that there is a man who can barely be seen from the forests edge, some claiming it to be the darkest mage of all Zeref, making it unsafe for all to enter entirely. |

Location Name: Tiandore Location Area: Kingdom of Fiore – Notable Places Location Descriptor: The town is like any other to speak truthfully. The town is rather similar to many as they have a business district, a military force and a mayor’s office. However, the thing that stands out on this town is its location. It is located on floating rocks the size of battle ships. With the gravity equaling the moon, one can simply jump up to the mile high floating city as some could call it. Location Briefing: Tiandore is normal by all means except for a few extraordinary ones. The town possesses all that it needs for a rural area to survive. Businesses, Military and Politics all have their own areas taking up 40% of the towns mass. The other 60% of it is housing for residents to live in. The other areas consist of 10% of the town except for Military in which takes 20% for some very embarrassing reasons. The reason this town is notable is that the gravity of this area that covers miles of terrain equals that of the moons. With such low gravity, one can leap for meters despite being a normal human. This allows many to travel here to take part of some exhilarating jumps that most wouldn’t be able to experience anywhere else. Another notable environmental feature this place has is the dozens of island sized rocks floating in the air. They seem to react differently to the gravity of this place as they never seem to move. The town is located on the highest rock of this terrain. As it is not only the most flat and habitable, but the safest for the civilians. There are 3 official ways to travel up to the town. All in which has camps and officials to help instruct the best ways to climb and jump up to the village. For trade they have a teleporting system from the very bottom of the earth to the town. However this system takes a day to message the town to activate their circle at a certain time in which both must sync in order to function. This can be used for visitors who lack the proper means to travel up the floating terrain as well. Due to the gravitational pull however, the residents of this land lack the same bone mass and physical capabilities as others. A normal Human from Tiandore isn’t even half as strong as a normal Human from the rest of the world. This forces many to stay in Tiandore as it is hazardess to venture out outside of emergencies or trades. Thus why the military is heavily funded as to allow highly trained archers and militia to maneuver and control the land they live on with as much peace as possible. |

Location Name: Soviet Acacia Location Area: Acacia Location Descriptor: An isolated and hostile zone of Acacia, which has separated from the other districts due to political reasons. Its surrounded by a titanic red metallic curtain that reaches from the ground to the sky, which always seems cloudy and snowing, for some magical reason. Entance is granted only to those who have missions that take place in Soviet Acacia. Location Briefing: Soviet Acacia, once you are inside its massive metal curtian, seems to be quite an hostile urban enviroment. The sky is constantly cloudy and snowing, due to a magical curse, an enough exposure to this snow causes your vocal cords to mutate into a highly consontantical accent, and forces your hand to write letters upside down, or mirrored. The townspeople are a bit reluctant to speak with foreigners too, however they are friendly, in a shy way. Most of the district is ,oddly, farmland. A ring of crops surround a cental urban area, that has a monastery, a town hall and some residencial apartments. |

Location Name: Lichen Wasteland Location Area: Kingdom of Fiore - Notable Places Location Descriptor: A large patch of land, easily a hundred square miles, lying at the north/eastern border of the Sanzibar Desert, the Lichen Wasteland is not as much of a wasteland as the name may imply. It is, in fact, a huge scrapyard, a remnant of a long-forgotten war between Fiore and the nation of Mins, on the other side of the sea between the two. Far beneath the upper layers of scrap, a bustling town of scavengers, blacksmiths, engineers, and other such people. Location Briefing: A long, long time ago, Over the entire area, everything is covered with the rusting remnants of blimps, steam tanks, and golems. Ancient, wrecked ships line the coast, their masts sticking out of the water, and prows as sharp as the day they were forged lay dangerously close below the water line. It is as dangerous a place as any for ships to land, so very few do. Sometimes, a scavenger group launches a ship off a makeshift dock, aiming to dive around and find treasure underneath the waves. Few ever return, and those that do speak of horrid things, made of steel and wood, with eyes glowing red as flames and the power to snap a man's bones like a cocktail pick. Some say they're golems, still functional so long after the war. Others say they're the ghosts of Minskean soldiers, haunting the waves with shells made from their old machinery. Below the scrap lies an entire community, by the name of Moss City. A bustling underground community of scavengers and engineers, if it's made of metal, it can be found or made here. There are flea markets everywhere, scavengers selling their stuff at extremely low prices. However, once in a while, an unknowing scavenger finds a power core or another item that seems out of place with the Minskean steam vehicles, and back then even more primitive Fioreans. Why these items pop up, no-one knows. All they know is that those items are related to the ruins in the Sanzibar Desert. Even in Moss City, though, strange things sometimes happen. People who bought some of the strange items, dead the next morning. Scavengers going out and never returning. Sometimes other scavengers find places where human remains are scattered all over, ripped apart with rusty pieces of iron, impaled on twisted broken rods, strangled with tubes bent around their necks with strengths normal humans shouldn't be able to achieve. No-one knows who or what commits these murders, and most people don't want to find out. Moss City has an underground port, with most of the docks being in a humongous cave under a cliff. They hold up one of Fiore's greatest trade routes with Mins, and when the scavengers find something important, documents, soldier emblems, et cetera, they tend to return them to the Minskean embassy seated in Moss City, gaining themselves a hefty rewards for returning artifacts of their noble country, so they can be displayed in Minskean or Fiorean musea, so nobody will ever forget the war that happened so long before Fiore and Mins entered their prosperous alliance. All in all, you can find all kinds of things in the ruins if you don't get ripped apart by the mysterious creatures, and Moss City is the place to sell the things you find, if you decide not to keep them, plus it has transport by boat to all of Fiore's ports, and an embassy from one of the mightiest countries on the continent. It also has a subway to the city of Magnolia, and a recently opened track to Tully Village, allowing for easy travel to the other cities from there. |

Location Name: Ant Tunnels Location Area: Kingdom of Fiore – Regions (Western Region) Location Descriptor: A gigantic maze when a mage enters the tunnels. It lies on the shore of West Fiore, but the entrances and exits of the tunnels are not easy to enter. The entrances and exits of these tunnels are below the cliff. There are hundreds of tunnel entrances and exits, and the chances for someone to come out of the same entrance are very unlikely. Careful when traveling in the tunnels, this area is known for the dangerous creatures. A long time ago, the Council sealed off the tunnels, because of the death rate. Location Briefing: Ant Tunnels is thought of as one of the most dangerous locations in Fiore. The Council decided to seal off the current entrances and exits of these tunnels. The death rate of mages adventuring in the tunnels and trying to enter was about 70% of all mages. Ever since the Council sealed off the entrances and exits, no more new entrances and exits appeared around the cliff. The Council forbid any legal guild to break the seal or barrier. Only those of a high rank could even break through the barrier or seal. The Council have announced the creatures in the tunnels to be A to S rank. In the past, people that tried to enter the tunnels died. A person had to jump from a cliff and somehow enter the tunnels. The entrances were facing the ocean. At the bottom of the cliff were sharp rocks that could pierce through the skull. The drop was twenty two feet. If entering the tunnels failed, the person will die. Some journals of famous mages said that the tunnels were so confusing that the best mages could not navigate out of them with ease. These mages would have to stay in the tunnels for a few days or weeks. There are several different paths in the tunnels. The creatures in these tunnels can be thought as the strongest. Rumors from journals said that there were creatures that could nullify the magic, and the mages had to rely on their physical abilities to fight. None of the creatures seemed to wander out of the tunnels, and the strongest creatures seem be closer to the middle of the tunnels. All of the tunnels reached one area called the Heart of the Tunnels. History says that no mage has ever reached the Heart of the Tunnels. There is no simple way to reach the Heart of the Tunnels. All mages must follow the premade paths and decide which ones to take. At times these paths could lead mages to dead ends. In many journals of S-rank mages, these mages say that the walls could not be destroyed. The walls of the tunnels were made out of something that nullified magic and could not be destroyed by the strongest strength mage. The material of the walls cannot be removed, because swarms of creatures will follow the mage. The material once in motion begins to drain the magic and life force of mages. These tunnels were sealed off by the Council in X750. (Change the date to whenever. Just the date should be early.) |

Location Name: White Castle Location Area: Sub-Forum of Oak Town Location Descriptor: Once. Two dudes were really hungry. So they travelled across the town and found the great White Castle. It's the best fast food joint, ever. Location Briefing: White Castle used to be an urban legend amongst the people of Oak Town, it was said to be a fortress containing infinite burger patty, bun and condiments, it was the perfect place for two really hungry dudes to go after they had spent a long hard night out. Nobody however, no matter how inebriated they were in all of their drunken wisdom could even find a trace of this perfect consumption facility. Some, who had been searching all of their lives had suddenly given up, they had looked for so long, but nothing. They figured it didn't exist. They were wrong. On a lonely Saturday morning after a very unsuccessful night out, two dudes who had been partying and trying to get them some sweet, sweet Oak Town ass had walked home empty handed. They had saved for months for this trip, they didn't even eat for two weeks to conserve their cash. Their undying hunger, rage and sleep deprivation led them. They ran around the city like mad men, soon they would die from a lack of nutrients but by god they used every ounce of energy they had, smashing everything in their path due to their now undying rage. And there it was. In plain sight. A giant, white castle stood directly in front of them, revealed to everyone. The wait was over, their desire to eat for free, to survive, not out of gluttony or for the infinite burger patties, but their raw desire to continue living had allowed them to open the gate to White Castle. And they were hailed as heroes. White Castle is indeed a giant White Castle. Though it's more of a decoration since you can really only enter a throne room. Once you cross a moat, full of the most delicious coca-cola you have ever tasted, right in front of you is the throne room. At the far end of the room are two thrones, where the two kings sit, endlessly eating burgers in their rage. To the right and left are counters, where people pay massive amounts of jewels just to get a bite of that sweet, sweet beef. Even without condiments these burgers are boss. Everything is magical and thought provoked in White Castle. Need a seat? No need to wait for someone to get up, just think of where you want the seats and table and it'll pop up, reserved just for you! Want a burger? Don't even have to go to the counter, they're just there for the atmosphere. Think of what you want and money is just taken from your wallet, and a burger is yours instantly! Not only do they sell burgers, they have fries, chicken nuggets, juice, apple pies, garlic breads and even onion rings. White Castle is the last refuge for the truly hungry, and as such, only the truly hungry can enjoy the full power of White Castle, if somebody was eating out gluttony in this establishment, they would only receive ten percent of the White Castle power, however, those with an empty stomach will receive the ultimate pleasure in the form of pure taste. Location Name: Waulder Bridge Location Area: Kingdom of Fiore- Regions- South Fiore Location Descriptor: This bridge town is 15 miles long and 3 miles wide. The top side of the bridge is a hot spot for the latest fashions, the most valuable accessories, furniture and spices. The trade markets, exquisite shops and delicious restaurants make Waulder a shoppers paradise as well as a great place to establish contracts and trade routes with merchants. However the bustling streets of the town cover up the slums on the underside of the stone structure. With two large piers Waulder can be classed as a trading port, however it has a darker more dangerous twist. Location Briefing: Waulder Bridge is a magnificent town. A great structure bridges the gap between two sides of a deep estuary. Where the sea turns to river the 15 mile long, 3 mile wide bridge spans the entire gap. Once starting out as a small sea outpost it has over the years become an overcrowded, busy haven for many merchants, travellers and criminals. The top of the bridge houses tall stone buildings, many extended upwards because of the lack of space. A few main streets run throughout the town from one side to the other. Connected by narrow alleys it used to be difficult to navigate about Waulder bridge. Yet a simple solution was found. Between the tall stone buildings many walkways and bridges were built, the rocky roofs housing various establishments. Rich with trade and business Waulder has been a great port town over the years. Many a men have reached the Bridge town, wanting to make their way into the trading world to earn their mountains of money. The three main streets, converge at the dead centre of the bridge. Giving birth to a large circular town centre it houses a large building in the middle. Being the tallest in Waulder it has no walkways or bridges extending to it. This is where the small town's council reside. A group of powerful land owners, ship captains and merchants both men and women are the 13 that run the town. Many of the council have either been corrupted by the seedy underbelly of Waulder or by their own wealth and power and seem to live in a world detached from the towns reality. Living in large villa mansions near the Council building they use the large structure to debate over certain issues along with passing judgement over any lawbreakers and criminals that are unfortunate to be caught, or those who aren't paying the council. These unfortunate individuals are usually executed, so much that execution grounds have been built. One street cuts through from the council building towards the Sea side of the bridge. A balcony protrudes out and upon it sits a set of gallows waiting for the lives of the captured criminals. Once hung they are then attached to the side of the bridge as a warning for all others that break the town's laws. The section underneath this part of the town is clear, the rest is a different story. The two support columns near the Council district of Waulder also are home to two long piers stretching out into the sea. These are for the trade and merchant ships as well as passenger ships. Being the main source of money and produce for Waulder it is usually heavily patrolled by the Council's Brigade and Police. Direct lifts and walkways have been built from the piers to the top side of the bridge, arriving outside of the Trade hall built about 100 metres away from the Council Building. With no space wasted in Waulder the less fortunate residents have been forced to create an under bridge slums, attaching their small shack houses, their corrupting clubs and bars and other less than legal businesses to the underside and legs that support the bridge. Most of the goings on in these slums are overlooked by the council, their care only for the topside of the bridge. The slums are similarly connected by bridges and walkways yet these ones are not stone, instead made out of scrap metal and wood wherever they could find it. Being separated by the clear council section named 'The Deadzone' the slums have formed two warring factions or gangs. The Blue Bats are the faction at the east of the bridge. Their beliefs are less drastic than the other faction. Caring for each other and everyone they are seen as the 'good guys' of the slums. Doing everything to better the community everyone who is not an official member still look up to the Bats and often supply them with what little food they can afford to give them. Wanting to escape the slums some time soon they don't believe that revolting against the Council can do that, instead they often work the jobs that the higher citizens think are below them, earning money for the community so that they can hopefully one day buy the East slum's freedom. However they are no pushovers, and will defend the citizens of the East slums without a care for their own lives a lot of the time. Not only do they defend against the Council's brigade they also have to protect themselves against the other faction, the west faction. The Nightmares are the faction at the west of the slums. Their beliefs are to revolt against the Council. The faction are more like a gang in their section of the slums, taking from the citizens who refuse to join them and forcing a lot of the residents into fighting with them. Countless revolt attempts were easily crushed due to the Nightmare's lack of resources. Over the last few years they have gotten bolder and started stealing from the top side of the bridge, causing many raids from the Brigade within the western slums. The often make their way to the east to recruit citizens there and to steal resources. To reach the slums from the top their are gated stairs. Each of the slums are suspended about 60 metres above the clear, tropical water of the estuary. Many small anchored wooden platforms along with makeshift ladders (rope and fixed) lead down to the waters surface, used for fishing, bathing and swimming normally. The water below the bridge has a slow current but 100 metres into the river it turns to a strong current. The slums are usually dark and a lot of the time it feels like night time even when it is daytime. It is rumoured that throughout the slums there are small little alcoves perfect for hiding in along with a few old thief stores, their locations lost when they were caught and executed. Although the slums overlook what happens in the slums to a certain extent it isn't without a cost. Strenuous and insane taxes have been implemented as so to keep the slum residents where they belong. Only a few in the towns history have ascended to the top side of the bridge and stayed there. Either side of the bridge are two large gates. These gates are the only way in and out of the town other than by boat. However the harbour border is policed excessively making sure none of the residents (mostly the slum) escape Waulder. Most people visit on a Traveller Pass, which allows them to enter and exit once. Although not expensive the pass only allows for a week visit. If visitors stay within Waulder for longer than that they are considered sub-residents and will have to pay the same hefty sum to leave that most of the others have to pay. This corrupt places its citizens in different categories. Full-Resident and Sub Resident. Full-residents are allowed to come and go as they please, they are the ones that live on the topside. Within posh mansion villas and normally owning extravagant businesses they are at the top of the food chain. The Sub-residents are not allowed to leave once they have been branded with a W tattoo. This tattoo can be removed and full residency can be granted if the sub-residents pay a hefty sum 100,000,000 Jewels to the council for the 'privelage' to leave. Most of the sub-residents live on the underside of the bridge in the slums, not many of them leave 'legally'. Altogether Waulder may seem like a paradise at first but break the law, stay long enough or venture below the stone bridge and you will the seedy, criminal underbelly of the town. With a mostly corrupt council and warring factions it is a place that breeds scum. With many other dark secrets in its foundations Waulder is a dangerous place for someone to visit without a purpose. |
