Another day had pass while he was in Magnolia. There wasn't much to do, and that was because he didn't want to go on any missions right now. Yeah it was weird that he didn't go on any missions when he was suppose to be the type to do something like that. He was trying to catch up to Relyk, so where was the mission that he should be going into. Well he was going to do them sooner or later. It was just that he had to get use to the place before he took a big step forward. Yuurei was out of his house right now. His headphones on his ears right now as he was listening to music. It was what he did most of the time, but he was heading towards the Park right now. There was an event happening right now. It was a little festival that they threw in this place. Magnolia was always lively, and they usually did a lot of things, so people could be involve with each other. It would allow people to meet others, and converse with each other about how they been and what things they had in common. A good place to be at, and Yuurei didn't mind going there. He wanted to know if there was somebody he knew who would be there. It was a slim chance, but hey if they were there then he could enter the events with them. It would be fun now wouldn't it? He thought so, and he wanted to do something that didn't occur with him having to almost kill someone or having to even fight someone because of something bad that happen. It was after that day that exhausted him out. He had to fight a huge Golem and it took everything he had to do anything he could to it. Thank god the cloak figure left the area. It stopped the Golem from doing anything, and it allowed him to get the rest he needed. Yuurei did wonder who was that kid, and if he was looking for a guild to join. There was Relyk, but he was a head of him in strength. Yuurei felt like his friend was too busy doing other things right now. The man just walked by people as they just ignored him. That was how he liked it. People didn't know who he was, and they forgot about him. That was nice because it was better like that. It was only right for the guild. Yuurei just looked up for a bit, and noticed a large group of people in the park. He was right to think it would be packed. That was good, but he was just looking around to see if he knew anybody around here. Yuurei had too much problems as it was. It was weird, but people left him alone, and it was good. He didn't have to be in the middle of people from groups bothering him about problems that they had. It was just how he liked it, and that was probably because of Relyk acted. Since he was around him the people that were after Yuurei didn't want anything to do with him since they would have to bump heads with Relyk as well. |

Ezekiel exited him home for high hopes of a calm and quiet day. However reaching the park, he discovered some kind of festival had arrived in Magnolia. Tents, cubicles and machines were being set up all around the area. To the young mage, this was going to be loud and obnoxious. However annoyed by the amount of people gathered at this area, Zeke couldn't turn back now when he had traveled all this way. He decided to look around for an open quiet area where the festival doesn't touch; a place where he can sit and read from his book. Every moment when he reaches an area of his desire, a wave of debris would pass by and the open area would instantly be replaced by a part of the festival. It was a smart choice to use magic to set up this event, however unfortunate for the barrier mage. After walking around for some time, Ezekiel came to a halt when he spotted something, or someone. Adjusting his glasses, he confirmed that the someone was actually Yuurei from the battle against Myermyer. 'Thank the Light' Zeke quickened his pace. Someone who he knew and who would kill this annoyance that surrounded him. "Sir Yuurei" Zeke called to him once he was close enough, "It is good to see you again; what brings you here?" |

Yuurei was enjoying the scenery. There were people around the place, having fun. There were kids running around as if they have never been to one of these events. It was either that or they were just loving the festival that they couldn't stop, but be excited, and move around the place. The Light Wizard smiled as he was happy things like this could happen in this place. There were a share of bad, and good things that happen in Magnolia. He just wish a lot of the good things over lapped the bad ones. Well too bad it wasn't like that. He could hear the noise that the festival had given life of. Still there was another thing he heard. It was his name. He was looking for someone he knew around the place, but he wasn't able to see them at first. He turned to the sound of the person who called him out. It wasn't hard to figure out who it was because of how he said his name. It was the guys from last time, Ezekiel. He wonder why the guy use the words sir every time he got the chance with his name. Yuurei turned in that direction, and smiled at the man as it seemed like he was glad to see him. It was good that he was able to meet this man again. It was surprising that they would see each other twice in this place. This was Magnolia after all, and it wasn't small. He listen to the man asking him what had brought him here. The man chuckled with a slight embarrassment, and scratched the back of his head. He had walked his way to this place without really know this event was happening. "Hey there Ezekiel. How are things on your side? Its also nice to see you too. I kind of did my usual strolls through the city, and ended up here. I thought I would relax in the park, but it seemed like there is a festival going on here. Seems interesting, and I'm kind of happy its going on," Yuurei said to him with a smile on his face. He looked towards the place again, and watch the kids run by him. Parents followed after them with a bright smile on their face. It was all because they were having so much fun as a family. Yuurei had that, but he left it all to become a wizard. It was his mother, and father, along with his brothers. It was okay, and he didn't mind because he was older than he was before. "What brings you to this festival Ezekiel?" Yuurei asked him as he was wondering why this man was here. He didn't seem like the type of person who would want to come to this place because he had to do something here. |

Speaking with Yuurei, Ezekiel figured the light mage hadn't intended on finding a festival here neither; well at least they were on the same page, "We meet on the same ley line, I only wanted to relax and read a chapter of my book, however I doubt the festival would allow me any peace and quiet" Zeke looked around to view the citizens enjoying themselves, whether it is purchasing food at stands, playing the games that were completed or merely strolling along. "I've been well; nothing new has happened; let us walk, hopefully we'll find something that will catch our eyes" Zeke said as he began moving in a random direction. Judging by the number of stands lined up, it seems he was in the food district. Riceballs, fishballs, ramen, various different seafood and meat; then there were the exotic drinks in which Zeke couldn't name. The festival was surprising and colorful, however it was still loud. Looking up, Zeke noticed a contraption in the distance. It looked to be a giant spinning umbrella and looking a bit closer, he could tell that on the ends of long rope were seats with citizens strapped in them. At first the idea seemed mad, but it looked like the riders were having fun. At a corner stand, Zeke noticed a different variety of teas, "Earl Grey" he asked the man running the stand. After a payment, Zeke received his hot tea and took the moment to enjoy the first few sips of it, somehow in his mind, he managed to tone down the crowded noise around him. |

Yuurei was wondering why he was here? It was interesting that they were able to meet up again, and that's why he was wondering how that happen. The wizard looked at Ezekiel as he told him that he only wanted to relax, and read a piece of his book. That was interesting to see that this guy was the type who took their free time, and used it to read and gain more knowledge about the world's history. He knew there were other things he probably used his free time for, but he didn't know exactly what that was. He chuckled when his friend had told him that he had doubted he would get some peace time. That was true about the festival not being quiet. It was a bad day to want to read a book outside. These people were in the middle of having fun, and they weren't going to stop because of Ezekiel urge to read. He looked around, and noticed the amount of games that were being played by the people of Magnolia. He thought about enjoying the festival as well, but he wasn't sure at the moment. Yuurei listen to Ezekiel speak more. This it was on him doing well, and he smiled when his friend had wanted them to walk. He began to follow Ezekiel side by side wondering what this guy was planning on doing for the future. He really just looked like a normal wizard who had nothing to gain. Well he wasn't sure, and he wasn't going to try and put him down. His magic was unique of course, and it caught the Fairy Tail wizard's eyes for sure. Hopefully that magic could be use in tight situations. The two continued to walk, and it seemed they had put themselves into the festival. Yuurei could smell the food's aroma that was lurking around. It smelled so good, and it made his tummy rumble. This always happen when he was around food. It was like the food he ate at home wasn't good enough. He sighed noticing that he was slightly hungry, and thought if he should get food. It wouldn't hurt anybody now, and he felt like Ezekiel would probably want something to eat as well. Well he wasn't going to bother Ezekiel right now. He moved towards the food stand, and noticed some riceballs that looked good. He quickly went up to the person making the items, and smiled. "A riceball please, and a piece of chicken breast please," Yuurei said as the woman smiled at him, and prepared the plate for him. He smiled, and handed her the jewels he had to pay. He looked around wondering where Ezekiel went and noticed he was holding a cup in his hand. He chuckled as the man seemed to have wanted something as well. That was cool. Yuurei took a bite out of his riceball, and then a bite of the piece of chicken breast. There was no bone in the chicken breast, and it made him happy. He didn't want to have to chew carefully hoping he didn't take a bite on a bone. When he got close to Ezekiel he swallowed his food slowly, so he didn't choke. When everything went down that he had chew to bits, he sighed, and looked over to Ezekiel. "I see you wanted something to drink Ezekiel. Well tell me something. Are you planning on joining a guild? Or are you already in one?" Yuurei asked him wondering what he was going to tell him. They were both wizards, so it was only logical that they both wanted to join a guild. Not everybody did, but there was a majority who decided that going to a guild was perfect to get stronger. It was the best way to make money since you needed to join a guild to do missions. |

It wasn't as loud and obnoxious as Ezekiel had thought the festival was going to be; the tea has done it's job. As far as the young mage could see, the festival was fully set up, well as far as he could within this food district. He turned around to see Yuurei with his hands filled with food, he held back a chuckle. As they walked, Zeke turned to Yuurei at his question, "Guild? no I'm not in a wizard guild; I have thought about it several times and I've come to the conclusion that it would benefit me greatly, however I know not of which to join, do you have any suggestions?" True, a guild would benefit him, socially, educationally and financially. A young kid had crossed Zeke, however stopped for a moment to awe at the young mage's sword and buckler at his belt. It was only for a quick moment and the boy was gone; hopefully he didn't mistake Zeke to be a knight, for he is far from it. The code of chivalry is something he doesn't mind following, for his moral judgment relates similar to it, however all in all, he's a mage in the end, and for that, he rather continue his studies, rather than play security guard. Another sip of his tea with thoughts swimming in his mind, he decided to pursue his original intentions when he had first discovered the occupation of Yuurei, "Yuurei, can you tell me how you came to learn light magic and why?" this was the initial question, understanding the mage's reason for taking up this magic, soon after will be the study of how the magic works. Yuurei was walking with Ezekiel. His friend was going to tell him if he was in a guild or not. It wouldn't be a surprised with whatever the outcome is. People had their own choices in life, and that would have been his choice. They were walking, and now that Yuurei was done asking him this question it was time for an answer. He was just looking at Ezekiel while he took another bite of his riceball, and then some from chicken breast. The combine flavor of these two put together was great. He was just chewing on his food as he was looking at Ezekiel as his friend turned his head towards him. His friend told him that he wasn't in any guilds, and that made him smile. That was good to know, and it seemed like he was thinking about joining a guild. Yuurei just wonder what made him not join one. He didn't think it was hard to join a guild, but there was usually always a probably with how things work. Yuurei chuckled a bit with the food that was still in his food. The Fairy Tail wizard when he was asked if he had any suggestions. Well he could reveal that was from a guild which he didn't mind telling him. Yuurei swallowed his food without a problem, and just continue to think if he should suggest the guild to this guy. Well he thought he should, so why not. It was good to share some information to other people, and this guy looked like a nice guy. He wouldn't think of betraying Yuurei or going against him now would he? He watched his friend take a sip of drink, and wonder what was going to happen. He was about to give his friend a suggestion, but he was quickly interrupted by the barrier wizard. Yuurei looked at Ezekiel, and heard what he had to say to him. It seemed like he was asking about his light magic. He was wondering how he had came to learn the magic, and why. Yuurei didn't know why, but it seemed like light magic came natural to him. He shrugged for a bit, and then just decided to answer everything. "Well I suggest that you should join the Fairy Tail Guild. Its a nice place indeed, and there are a lot of strong wizards that come from that guild. You should wait, and get a little bit stronger first before you decide to head there thought," Yuurei said as he noticed that he didn't have very much left of his food. It seemed like his huge bites made him go through this a little faster. He thought they were normal bites, but it wouldn't be normal if others saw how big he bit into stuff. The mage looked at Ezekiel, and smiled at him. "My light magic. Well I actually can say that I didn't have a master to teach me this. I was walking around the area, and I found a book on it to be honest. It seemed as if someone was testing me to see if I would go in that direction. I took the challenge, and learned it from the book itself. It was weird, but I just go with the flow. Hopefully that answer your questions. What about you how did you come to learn your type of magic, and why? Yuurei asked Ezekiel wondering what he was going to say. The wizard took the last bit of bites of his food, and began to chew it again. He was waiting for Ezekiel to speak, so that way they could continue on with the conversation. Yuurei just continued to walk as he was wondering what would happen today. There was a lot of things they could do here. It would be enjoyable to do anything they wanted in this place right. It was a festival, and they were allowed to have fun. |

Ezekiel hesitated for a quick moment when hearing the name 'Fairy Tail', of course he had heard it a number of times before, especially when reaching Magnolia. It is one of the most well known guilds in Fiore, it had made a legacy in this Kingdom. Yuurei had suggested looking into joining Fairy Tail, but why would he say it so nonchalantly? That was probably the equivalent to thinking that one could simply take a week long travel to find a dragon which was damn near impossible. "Good thought, I'll take a look into it" Zeke quietly said. Yuurei had also suggested to become stronger before anything, which was a good idea since Fairy Tail mages have been well known for their magical power, so Zeke took that thought in mind. Hearing how Yuurei actually learned from a book about his magic was something interesting to hear, however how long did it take him to learn such a magic? "I've came across a book on barriers and I began to take an interest in it, so I further my research; my reason would be so I could defend myself and others around me" It was a simple reason, but his reason nonetheless. "So... since I have to get stronger... would you train me? since you seem to train in your physical abilities and your magic, you could teach me" A bit rude of him to ask Yuurei so blandly, but he did need a trainer. Training himself seemed insane, he knew nothing about pushing his body further in anyway; the shield and sword were more for formality and style. |

Yuurei and his friend were walking together. The two was just walking together and Yuurei finally was able to swallow the last piece of his food. It was good, and he could say that he enjoyed it. The people who made that should have been given more money for the food, but it was too late. He wasn't going to go look for them to give them the money. Well there was that, and he wasn't going to give them more money to satisfy them. They priced it that way, so it wasn't his fault. He wonder what Ezekiel would say, and it seemed like he wasn't really shock in what he said about joining. That was good to know seeing as he was from there, and he just needed to recommend him to the master. It was pretty simple to join a guild, but he wanted the man to prove to him he was able to join the guild. The tone in his voice made him realize he wasn't really sure if he would be able to join the guild. Well that was okay when the time was right he would show him what he got himself into. The Fairy Tail wizard listen to his next question being answer. He had learned his magic from a book as well. It seemed like he didn't have a master as well. That was okay because that was how it usually was for people. There were that rare item that was born into a strong magical ability. The man wanted to learn this magic to protect himself and those around him. An interesting man indeed, and it was good to know he was not all about himself, but of others as well. "I see that's good to know. Some people take magic for themselves, or learn magic to protect themselves or get stronger. I like your style Ezekiel. I on the other hand just gain my magic because of my personality reacts to the situation," Yuurei said as the two were walking again. That was when he heard something interesting coming from his new companion. This man seemed to want him to help him out with getting stronger. That was something he truly didn't expect coming from Ezekiel. Yuurei was suppose to be a sensei, and train the man. That was funny, but he held his small chuckle a bit. He was asked to teach him, and he didn't know if he was going to be able to help the man out like that. Yuurei coughed a bit to clear his throat while he covered his mouth, and turn to look at the barrier wizard. It was nice to see that he wanted help, and it was something that he wouldn't turn down. "Well I can help you train. I don't know if I can help you thought. I never train anybody. Still joining Fairy Tail shouldn't be about power, but about dedication, and your resolve. I think you will have what it takes to join," Yuurei said with a smiled as he looked around the area. There was a lot to do here, and there were a lot of nice rides to get on. Yuurei wonder if he should take the time that they were here to get on something, and see how it was. He noticed a roller coaster making a few spins and circular turns. It was interesting, and he thought maybe Ezekiel would want to go on it. "Hey man would you want to get on that roller coaster?" Yuurei said as he was pointing in the direction where the roller coaster was at. He didn't want to make Ezkiel look around like a mad man trying to find the location. |

As the two spoke, the conversation was getting more interesting and some come say at first sight, the two could be friends, and maybe they are already considered that. As fars as Zeke could tell, Yuurei only learn light magic because the chance was there; he's optimistic then. At first it seemed that the light wizard might reject Zeke's asking of his time, but the smile said otherwise. He agreed, however he wasn't fully sure of his power to teach and train, "I'm will to taking the chance" Zeke said as he finished the last bit of his tea. He tossed the cup into a nearby trash can. "Do not worry, I am a dedicated person, I'm sure Fairy Tail isn't far of a reach" Clearly the young man was lying to himself; he could try, yes, however this was Fairy Tail the wizard guild, the chances of being accepted were too high. But a possibility is still a possibility, and he had to take the chance. Yuurei pointed to some contraption called a roller coaster; observing what it does for an amount of time, Zeke opened his eyes wide. That machine was a deathtrap, who would honestly ride that thing? But there were people who were indeed riding it, and Yuurei didn't seem to fear it. Instead of admitting his true feelings about the 'coaster', Zeke decided to prove his bravery and accept the invitation, "Sure, why not?" |
