Hey everyone! It's May and you know what that means? Yeah, me neither. There's not a whole lot in terms of major news right now, except for maybe some clarification on some forms of magic like usual. As for a new event? Right now, we're just having the April Event (Bosco Invasion part 3) taking place, which runs into the middle of May. But, one cool new thing that we're introducing this month is SS-Class items. Now you have something to grind and agonize over! Yay, isn't that just lovely? I think so. You can find more info on that in the Equipment and Item Creation section in the rules. That's it for now, folks! If I get anything new to add to this you can guarantee that I will do so. In the words of the immortal douchebag rival, "Smell ya later." Keep on RPing everyone! Kill some Boscans! ~The FTG Staff~ Fairy Tail RPG |

Marcus walked along the streets of Magnolia slowly; for he wasn't in a hurry, no, he had a dilemma. A problem that he pondered as he navigated his way across the crowded streets of Magnolia and dodged the passerby. Ever since he left his village, he had been part of the Knight Academy, studying hard and learning the ropes. The academy provided food, lodging and all the essentials. But now, when Marcus had finally finished, all the harsh reality of living solo crashed down on him, and now he lacked the most basic thing. A home. So now, Marcus was traveling aimlessly, hoping to find a decent town to settle down in, after that, he would have to track down the Knight's local HQ and register himself there when he was ready. Until now, Marcus hadn't found a home. So he was in Magnolia, a suitable candidate, calm and somewhat peaceful. If it weren't for Fairy Tail, then it would be a done deal, but he didn't know much about it other than it was a magic guild. A long sigh escaped Marcus' lips. He looked no different from any other civilian. His clothes were no different, he wore a simple T shirt and cargo pants. His stature was no different, either, with his hands in his pockets and strolling comfortably. There was a vacant look in his eye as he thought. Possibly the only thing that gave him away was the relatively short wooden staff that was strapped to his back. Edited by MaZe, Jul 14 2012, 04:05 PM.

Zoul had finally arrived at Mongolia and was fortune enough not to have run into a dog with his briefcase fixed good as new he decided to start finding out more about mage guilds specifically light ones, which is why he was in Mongolia to find out more about Fairy Tail. The only thing he knew about was it reputation for causing destruction, as he was walking some of the locals started staring at him. Zoul wasn't surprised since it wouldn't be the first time the combination of causal and formal clothing he wears confused people at first, what he was surprised with was that people were also staring at his sword that he was holding "maybe they think i'm a mercenary or something ?" Zoul thought. As he continued to walk he was thinking of how exactly would he find more info on Fairy Tail as a guild at first he thought of asking the locals of Mongolia but decided against it hoping for the best, as Zoul finally reached the front of Fairy Tail's guild hall he was thinking of how he should explain his situation "should i just go in and ask ?...no that won't work why would they help some random mage ?" , realizing his problem could end badly if he did something wrong he stayed at the front of the guild hall pacing back and forth trying to think of the best way to explain his situation. Eventually he gave up and sat on nearby bench giving his legs a rest "with any luck i can find someone who's actually a part of this guild to help me ?" he said to himself as he accidentally fell asleep. |

It was another boring day for Reggie. Her supplies of papers already ran out due to the simultaneous drawings that she did. She didn't really have something productive to do except for drawing. And she's not in a mood to go in a mission. She was sitting right in front of the counter, sipping the orange juice that she ordered a while ago. She only knew few members from the guild. And they were not even here. They might have gone into missions. She was sipping the last of her orange juice when a brawl started inside the guild house. Reggie sighed. She took jewels from her pocket and put it beside the glass as the payment for her order. She stood up from her seat and walked towards the guild entrance. She was already outside when she noticed a guy standing few meters away in front of the entrance. He was looking at the guild house. "Hmm, maybe he wants to join the guild." Reggie said to herself. She was looking at him when the guy seemed to notice that she was staring at him. But Reggie didn't take her eyes away from him. She then thought that he might be an old guild member. The guy seemed to be tired so he headed to a nearby bench and sat on it. Reggie decided to talk to him and said, "Hi there! Do you need help? I'm a guild member if you haven't noticed my guild stamp." Reggie said as she showed the guy her purple guild stamp in her left hand. But it seemed that the guy wasn't paying any attention to him as he was sleeping quietly as he sat in the bench. She then scratched her head, trying to think of a way how she'll wake him up without causing annoyance to him at the same time. |

As Zoul was enjoying his sleep in peaceful bliss but after a few seconds of hearing what he hoped was another person, he yawned and opened his eyes to see a young women looking over him. Shocked Zoul jumped from his seat and almost bumped in her by accident, with an embarrassed look on his face he apologized "sorry about that." Noticing the mark on the girls hand Zoul's eyes widen for a sec, "sorry to be blunt...but are you a part of Fairy Tail ?" he asked. After the girl confirmed his suspicion a huge grin drew itself on Zoul's face, "that's great i was hoping a mage from this guild could help with something". After hearing the question being repeated by the girl Zoul cleared his throat, "yeah i do actually need help...well how to put it i'm try to find out more about the different mage guilds so i was wondering if someone from this guild could tell me more about how their guild works ?..that doesn't make much sense does it ?" After a few seconds have passed Zoul remembered he forgot to introduce himself, "my name is Zoul Helel " he said doing his best not to sound rude and extended his hand "and your name is ?" he asked not trying to sound rude again. |

Marcus was still walking calmly, until he noticed a man walking among the people. He wore odd clothes, a sign that he wasn't just another citizen. Marcus eyed the man's sword, a rather odd-looking blade. Carrying a weapon, of course, meant the carrier has some use of lugging it around like that. Marcus rationalized that he was either a criminal (which meant he would have to track him down) or a fellow knight or a mage. Noticing the look in his eyes, the way he walked and seemed uncertain of himself, he figured that he was probably wasn't a criminal or a dark mage for the matter. That left only the possiblity of a knight or a regular mage. The former thought was forgotten when Marcus witnessed the man stand in front of Fairy Tail guild hall as if he was debating the idea of joining. Well that settled it, the man was a mage. He grimaced at the thought, Magic, such a dangerous thing. Wielded by children and capable of widespread chaos and destruction, regardless of whatever hands it fell into, child's or man's. He had heard stories of young children yet in their early teens, killing people and destroying cities. Magic, the cause of such pain and fustration for the knights. Soon enough, he saw the mage fall asleep and another mage from inside Fairy Tail (A fairy tail mage, of course) exchange a few words with him. Normally, Marcus wouldn't find it important to keep watch over them, neither of them seemed like a legitimate threat nor were they in violation of any laws, yet. But something told him to keep an eye on them, a gut instinct if you will, and Marcus knew to trust his gut instinct. So he continued walking at a lesiurely pace, hands in his pockets. Reggie seemed to startle the man. But she haven't done anything to wake him up. She didn't make some noises either. The guy apologized for what had happened. Reggie just reply him with a smile. The man then asked her if she is a mage from the guild in front of him. Reggie didn't answer but only show him the purple guild stamp on her left hand. He seemed to be excited upon knowing that Reggie is a Fairy Tail mage. "So what can I do for you?" Reggie said in the most friendly tone that she knew. The guy told her that he was trying to get some information on how the guild works. Reggie was about to answer when the guy suddenly introduced himself to her. He's name is Zoul. She was about to say her name when he suddenly interrupted again, asking for her name. "Mine is Reggie, nice to meet you!" She said as she smiled unto him. She wondered what magic does this guy use. Maybe something that would involve a sword as he was carrying one. But not an ex-quip mage. Reggie observed that most ex-quip mages do not carry weapons with them. "Well, you just sign up for the guild that you want to be in and you can get the jobs that they offer for your class, and it depends on what is available in the mission board of the guild." Reggie said. But the man seemed to be confused with it. So she decided to give an example. "As for my case, I'm a C-class Mage. So I can only take C-class missions that are available in the mission board." Reggie felt someone was staring at her. She looked around and noticed a guy from a distant eyeing the two of them. Reggie assumed he's a knight who is trying to find some faults against the guild that she was in. Most of the people who are from the magic council have been doing that. "Let's go inside so you can understand more about the system of the guild." Reggie lied. She wasn't trying to give him a better understanding about the guild's system. She was just trying to stay away from the scandal that the knight might cause by his wrong accusations. |

Zoul's grin on his face turned into a nervous one as he realized that he was constantly interrupting Reggie, "well it's nice to meet you Reggie" he said trying his best to hide his nervous face. She then started explaining how guilds work although Zoul was confused at first, but when Reggie used her Class as an example he started to understand a little bit more "so the missions a mage is allowed to take depends on their class ?" he thought to himself. Noticing Reggie was looking at his sword "don't worry i'm not some kind of mercenary" he said jokingly, when Reggie said that they go inside to under stand how guilds work better Zoul has a surprised look on his face since he didn't expect to be allowed in the guild's hall itself. As they both start making their way to the entrance Zoul noticed someone in the distance eyeing both of them, tempted to stop and ask Reggie if she knew until he realized something "she's trying to avoid that person...and the best to do that is by going inside the guild" Zoul said in his head and let out a sigh deciding to play along. Right as they were about to enter the guild hall Zoul was still somewhat nervous. since it would technically be his first time seeing the inside of a guild hall that wasn't abandoned or destroyed. |

Marcus had been eyeing the two mages warily, a disapproving look in his eye. Two mages, both of them seemed around his age. He began to think, arranging a plan in the back of his mind, like he always did; just in case things went severely wrong. The white-haired mage was no problem. A mage who hadn't joined a guild yet was probably beginner, and the way he seemed unsure about Fairy Tail only reinforced that belief. His magic would be near useless at that stage, so it wouldn't be a concern. A mage would usually focus on training their magic and neglect their bodies. Had he been at a more advanced level then that wouldn't be a concern; the skill in magic could pick up the slack, but as a beginner he was lacking on both accounts. Marcus would have to strike first, lock the man’s wrist so the sword would fall out of his grasp, and then kick it away. He would then break the fingers so he couldn’t grasp the sword again. Follow up with a strike just above the eyebrow, where the skin would break and bleed, where the blood would go straight to his eye, blinding and irritating him constantly, making it hard for him to retaliate. As for the girl, she was a guild mage, which meant that her magic had reached a point where it became potent. Marcus would have to be cautious, and trick her into revealing her magic and her power level, where he would then take action. His goal would be to disable a threat, not to kill. A knight’s job was to maintain peace, not disturb it. All of this went through Marcus’ mind as he strolled along, watching the mages from the corner of his eye. However, the blonde seemed to notice him and hurried to go back inside the guild with the man in tow, obviously to shield themselves from his watchful gaze. Marcus sighed to himself in relief. Good, now they weren’t his problem anymore. Anything that happened within the guild was their business, not the knights. And secretly, in the recesses of Marcus’ heart, he was happy that he wouldn’t have to deal with them. No matter the fact that they were mages, the idea of confronting them wasn’t a happy one; Marcus knew that Fairy Tail mages were a good sort; their reputation vouched for them. Even if their good deeds had the nature of collateral damage, he knew that they meant well at heart. But sometimes, a good intention does not condone mindless destruction, and the eye of the law must always be vigilant. So, with an unburdened heart, Marcus set out to finish his initial task, to learn more about this city. First stop, the local Knight’s office. After taking directions and a few minutes of quick stride. Marcus found himself standing in front of the office, an impressive building with an elegant but simple design. Marcus had always preferred the knights’ order and discipline over the messy nature of guilds. All the talk of bonds and friendship all seemed like rubbish to him. To him, the organization of the knights appealed to his nature, and while a mage might argue otherwise, an organized party of Knights with a clear goal and mission far outclassed the chaotic nature of a gaggle of mages. Marcus stood in front of the HQ, drinking in its sight just before he would enter. |

Reggie calmed down as they were inside the guild house. She had no plans of having a fight with another man from the council who was trying to find fault in a guild mage. She didn't hate them, but she's annoyed about their cautious reaction when they are near to them. As if every move they make would cause destruction. Well, Reggie doesn't cause destruction. But her spirits do. Especially Lupus who would do everything what it takes to get the work done in a nick of time. And because of his haste, Reggie often payed for the damages that he caused to the locals. Reggie was thinking much about the knight who eyed them outside that she forgot to entertain Zoul, who seemed to be fascinated with the guild. "Welcome to Fairy Tail!" Reggie said. The two of them are walking through the guild bar when a guy who was drinking nearby said, "Nice sword!" Reggie turned to him and smile. Everyone seemed to notice his presence and started to say their compliments to him, "Hey cutie!" One woman said who seemed to be just a customer in the guild. Reggie told him, "They're really that warm especially to a newcomer!" They almost reached the counter when the waitress said, "Hello Miss Reggie! Do you want me to prepare your usual drink?" Reggie said, "Yeah sure! How about you? What do you want to drink? It's my treat!" She then took a seat in front of the counter. |

The nervous feel Zoul had was quickly replaced with one of excited joy once the entered guild house itself, "so this is a guild hall ?" he said to himself noticing Reggie was calming down a bit he smiled a bit hoping the person who was eyeing them before wouldn't be a problem. As Reggie was walking him though the hall two people complimented him one his sword and the other his looks, on both occasions Zoul shyly thanked the person and continued following Reggie. Reggie then stopped at a counter where a waitress asked for her order when asked what he wanted Zoul simply answered "some cold water is fine" , once he had gotten his drink he thanked both Reggie and the waitress and started drinking his water thinking of what to ask next. Part of him wanted to ask more about how guild and specifically how fairy Tail works but another part of him continued to wonder who the person from before was, as he finished his drink Zoul cleared his throat "thanks for the hospitality Reggie i doubt everyone gets treatment like this ?" he said with a honest smile on his face. However this smile quickly disappeared replaced with face that looked like a mask more than a face as he continued, "so before i ask about anything else...i need to ask who was that person who was eyeing us at the entrance ?...sorry for the blunt approach but i'm just wondering is all." |
