((first ever rp thread so will probably stink -_-))

Zoul was calmly sleeping on a train headed for Onibas town...or at least he would be if the train hadn't arrived several hours late and for some reason the last cart was locked and passengers were asked to stay away from it , while he had no intention of insulting the the workers on the train he felt that his attitude would show on his face and bother the other passengers so Zoul decided that the best thing to do was to go to the cart before the last one and try to sleep the rest of the ride off. After awhile he was able to sleep where he was dreaming of how different he was expecting Onibas town to be compared to his Oak town, during his sleep however he could hear faint sounds to tired he ignored them thinking he was hearing things and went back to sleep.

This however was a horrible mistake on the young mage's part since when he woke up and arrived at the station he noticed his briefcase on the floor, and not only that it was covered in bite, scratch marks and even a little bit of drool. The officials at the train station were surprised to learn about the last cart being locked and about Zoul's briefcase unfortunately for Zoul however the officials refused to pay for the repairs for his briefcase, stating that he was told ahead of time to stay away from the last cart they did tell him that he should go to Ghost Lotus Street to look for a replacement or repairs. Zoul gave out a sigh not wanting to start a scene of the officials,"well...there's two more thing on my to do list" he thought to himself as got off the train and started looking around the station for a map that would lead him to Ghost Lotus Street.

Kaze had somehow found himself riding on a train to Onibas town. He had no real business there, he just wanted to visit the city once so he could later say that he had been there. He wasn't the type to brag about his achievements or the places he had explored, he just wanted to see as much of the world as he could while he still had no obligations to any guild. Once he joined one and settled down he knew things would become different. The train ride was a strange one as the officials at the station told everyone to stay away from the last cart. This piqued Kaze's curiosity so he moved to the second-to-last cart and stayed there observing anything that happened. There was only one other person in the cart, a grey haired man with a briefcase. He seemed to be sleeping the entire ride and Kaze thought it would be rude to wake him up for no reason. Even though his inner self told him to prank the man while he was defenseless, Kaze did have some self-restraint. After the man that checked their tickets left the cart, pretty much nobody entered it. This gave Kaze a great opportunity to satisfy his curiosity. He approached the last cart and placed his ear against its door trying to listen inside it.

From the last cart Kaze heard a growling sound, something like a wild animal trying to break free. His curiosity getting the better of him, he tried to open the locked door. To his surprise, the lock fell apart the moment he touched it and the door could now be opened. Curious as to why the officials would make such a fuss about the last cart and then do such a poor job locking it, he further opened the door and peered inside. The cart was a cargo cart, it contained several boxes with various labels on them. Kaze ignored the boxes and searched for the source of the sound he heard earlier. In a corner of the room, there was a big cage with an equally big dog in it. It was a pit bull, and one that didn't look particularly friendly either. At this point, Kaze should have just turned around and left the room. But that was not like him at all. Instead, he approached the cage and opened it. The dog then ran out of its cage and into the next cart, where the man was sleeping. Kaze ran after it only to see it assaulting the man's briefcase. He expected the dog to attack him, but apparently it was more interested in gnawing the stranger's briefcase. Kaze didn't want any trouble so he decided to put the dog back in its cage.

After a hard struggle, Kaze managed to separate the dog from the case and used it to lure the dog back in its cage. He then closed the door with the dog in it while he quickly pulled back the briefcase. He left the cart and shut the door behind him to ensure the dog couldn't leave the cart even if it got out of its cage. The briefcase was now in a sorry state but it wasn't Kaze's problem. He placed it on the floor, next to its owner, and quietly left the cart. He was not about to take the blame for it, even though it was technically his fault. This could be considered a prank to the stranger, although by accident. Kaze spent the rest of the ride in a different cart and arrived at Onibas with no incident. When he arrived there he wondered where he should head next. He overheard some people talking about some Ghost Lotus Street, and since the name sounded interesting, he decided to head there. From the little he heard, it was a place where one could find all sorts of items or ways to repair broken things. It sounded like a place that might have many interesting things, so Kaze was now certain that was the place he wanted to go to, unaware that the stranger with the briefcase was also headed there.

Zoul started making his way to Ghost Lotus Street after he received directions from some locals, unfortunately everyone he talked to spent more time staring at his mess of a briefcase then his questions not sure if he directions he got where credible the annoyed look on his face unmistakable . As he continued making his way through the town a thought crawled inside his head "what if this Lotus street doesn't have what i'm looking for ?...this briefcase is one thing but if this place doesn't have what i'm looking then this entire trip is a waste of time." He continued on his way to what he hoped what was Ghost Lotus Street until he noticed several of the locals loading crates and covered cage of several shapes and sizes in a large truck, deciding that some extra direction would be better than nothing he went up to one of them and asked where he could find the aforementioned street. Oddly enough the local didn't stare at briefcase in fact the person didn't even look at Zoul at all, and just pointed at the direction needed and drove away.

"that was rude" said Zoul stating the obvious as the truck drove away, he continued walking the new direction he was given fortunately for Zoul he was finally able to reach Ghost Lotus Street with in a few minutes. The first thing he noticed was the dozens of stores filling the street and the dozens of dozens of people going in and out of the stores, he let out a small sigh hoping that the flood of people wouldn't make his search more difficult. As he searched each store looking for either a replacement or for someone to repair his briefcase, after what seems hours of searching with no luck Zoul went to a one of the restaurants with a starving and defeated look on his face and ordered a large bowl of ramen. As he waited for his food " how exactly is it that every store in this street is sold out on briefcases ?",he thought to himself hoping his food to come earlier then expected.

"Check please." Sam called out to the waiter a few tables away. The restaurant was pretty small so he didn't have to raise his voice past his regular tone to get the message across. As Sam sat in a booth on the wall opposite the door he took a final sip of his herbal tea and set the delicate cup on the plate with the remains of the semi-decent sandwich he had just finished as well. He had to admit the food wasn't the great overall ,but they did make a really good cup of tea. More importantly the service was really fast here, he did have a train to catch after all. He had just come to Onibas Town to conduct a bit of business and was eager to get back to Belladonna and his simple but lovable home.

Unfortunately not have steady employment Sam relied on odd jobs to have an income. Just four days ago he had been approached by a man while out shopping for cigars who needed a courier with a professional flair to deliver a few things to a merchant in the famous Ghost Lotus street. The client had provided the train ticket to get to the meeting place and the briefcase full of merchandise so Sam didn't have to come out of pocket for anything on the trip besides food. Earlier that morning he was able to find the recipient for the goods and received the full amount the client had promised him from the merchant. Strangely though the merchant had made him empty the contents of the briefcase instead of just giving him the whole case.

As the waiter came over to bring the check he almost tripped over the now uselessly empty briefcase. Sam fished his wallet and a cigar out of his suit coat which he had folded up next to him before he ate and paid the bill in full before putting the stogie between his lips. "You can't smoke in here." the waiter said full of disgust. "It's not lit." Sam retorted deadpan as he decided not to tip him because of that comment. Getting up from his booth he straightened his suit and tie before picking up the empty briefcase and heading to the door. Just before he made it however he accidentally bumped the case into the arm of a silver haired guy who had just come in. "Sorry about that Sir." he apologized as he stopped to make sure he was alright.

The streets of Onibas were alive as the market was filled with people and wares beyond Zachary had noticed. The young man in the white jacket looked on in amazement as he explored the town. He had arrived after a trip to Trillium. After the major events that took place in the large city, the sixteen year old teenager was more than willing for a little relaxation. He had reached the town just yesterday, and had planned to take a late train over to Magnolia.

The events that unfolded in Trilium solidified his resolve of what he wanted to do. The dragon he witnessed emerged, the powerful magi he met. He was certain Fairy Tail was the place he was meant to go to. If he took the train, he would arrive in Magnolia in a night's trip.

After exploring half the market, he felt hunger get the best of him. Having enough money to spare, he found himself a restaurant and sat himself down. He ordered a milkshake, and one of their lunch sandwiches. As he waited, he looked around the area, noticing the man with the briefcase with dog bites on it. He had to admit, it was a funny sight.

It would appear that Ghost Lotus Street was not an especially known place and most people Kaze asked for directions only gave him a vague explanation. He moved in the general direction most of them pointed to and eventually managed to arrive in it. The worn out sign at the beginning of the street was nearly impossible to read, most of its letters having faded from time. It didn't look like anybody cared about replacing that sign and it didn't really cause any problems so Kaze just ignored it. The street was filled with people, contrary to its popularity when Kaze was searching for it. People were probably distracted by his peculiar clothing to answer him seriously. Or they realized he was an outsider and didn't bother with him much. That didn't matter at all now as Kaze had arrived in the street with tens of shops to look around in. This place had anything from weapons to groceries. Quite a weird assortment of items but this was probably the main market street in this town. Kaze was unaware of the fact that this street was famous in the entire town for having pretty much everything. He didn't have anything particular in mind, so he just strolled around looking at various shops.

After a few minutes of walking in the street, Kaze's attention was drawn to a shop with weapons. In the front window a majestic hammer was on display. Kaze stared at it for a full minute before noticing its price and leaving the shop. "Why does everything have to be so damm expensive? I'm going to have to get a job soon. Probably join a guild or something." he thought while turning on a narrow alley where much less people were passing through. This alley had practically nothing in it, but at the end of it, what looked like a dead end, there was a small shop. While Kaze wondered why anyone would open a shop here, he was curious about it and so approached it. It was a rather small shop and on its window there all sorts of bags, briefcases, backpacks and the like. There were any kind you would think of, mostly leather, and some that looked like they were really expensive. Kaze immediately thought of that poor guy he met on the train. With the state his briefcase was in when he left him, he was probably looking for a replacement somewhere in this city. If they met, Kaze thought he should let him know about this place, as no other shop seemed to have anything along the lines of a briefcase.

Since Kaze was not really looking for a bag or anything similar, he turned around and left the alley, going back to the busy street. He was still wondering why that shop was located there, and also why he didn't seem to find any other place that sold briefcases. Was this a conspiracy to deprive that man of his briefcase? If there was a plan like that it would be both stupid and incredibly funny. After all, why would someone care about some random guy's briefcase? Kaze couldn't help but think this was a hilarious yet improbable idea. That guy, the one with the silver hair if Kaze recalled correctly, was really unlucky. Not only did some weird dog happen to destroy his briefcase, he was now probably looking around a street with nothing to replace it, save from that small shop which Kaze doubt he would easily find. Kaze kind of pitied the man, but at the same time thinking about him made him laugh. This was a really interesting day and Kaze was already satisfied with the man's misfortune. With nothing else left to do, he continued strolling the street, thinking how longer he should remain here. It was a rather interesting town but with no real job here Kaze had no reason not to leave.

As Zoul continued waiting for his food the annoyed look his face was slowly becoming more agitated, not from his lack of food but because he had spent last few hours pointlessly looking for a replacement for his briefcase. It's as the entire universe was making sure his day would be horrible in every way possible, while waiting he accidentally bumped into another person who he assumed was another customer before Zoul could say anything the other person was already apologizing.

He cleared his throat "don't worry about its my fault...i should probably be more careful huh ?" Zoul said trying his best to no be rude, he then heard one of the waiters telling his food was ready and left it on the table. Zoul not thinking a simple question wouldn't be to much of a problem asked " sorry to be a pain and...but i was wondering have you seen any of the stores around here sell briefcases ?", he then showed his mess of briefcase in all of it's mangled shame. " I kind of ran into a problem at the ride over here so I've been looking for a replacement",. Unfortunately for him at the same time he was talking to the person he bumped into, his food was quietly being eaten under the table by the same dog that ruined his briefcase.

He couldn't help but notice the sounds of an animal inside the restaurant. Zachary felt a bit dumbfounded, not having noticed the beast as he looked around. He soon tracked down the sound to a table where a man sat, and underneath it was the dog. He gnawed at the plate the man's food, making a sloppy mess. The man was talking and soon as he turned back to his plate, his meal was gone. His stumped look made Zachary feel pity as he didn't yet see the dog.

"Um sir...?" Zachary called out politely to the man. He took a moment to look at him, noticing his white hair, his black clothing and jacket. What was most noticable was his different colored eyes, which Zachary thought was pretty cool. "I hate to be the bearer of bad news but... I found your food. Its well... under your table along with what took it..." he replied, a few dread lines appearing on the side of his head.

The man, Zoul, soon looked down to notice the dog. His reaction was peeved at the lousy mutt for robbing him of his meal AND gnawing at his suitcase.

"I couldn't help but overhear, but I am sure there are travel stores along this street. Since this is a traders town, there are bound to be plenty of places carrying what you are looking for." he added as he tried to ease Zoul's anger. "By the way, I'm Zachary. Zachary Draconis. Nice to meet you," he greeted him with a kind smile.

Zoul's anger consumed his mind and he had forgotten about everyone, except of course for the dog that was eating his meal who had a smug triumphant look on his face. well for a few seconds until he noticed Zoul staring at him with daggers for eyes, at the dogs face changed to sheer terror as Zoul's blade coming down on the table ab splinting it in half "time to get fixed you annoying mutt" muttering out of his mouth.

The dog barely avoids the sword and start to run for it , however before Zoul could give chase one of the employees stops him "sir you need to pay for the table...and food" . Zoul just stared at him for a few seconds an pointed at Zachary "he's paying for it" he said and ran after the dog, the waiter the looked at Zachery expecting a wallet filled with money to appear.

A disappointed look came on Zoul's face as he ran through the street realizing he lost the dog..and left his briefcase at the restaurant, he sighed in disbelief as his stomach made a hug growl "i'm starving" he complained to himself.

The sudden outburst of Zoul's fury and the table smashing caused Zachary to stiffen in shock and bewilderment. The guy had some severe anger issues. He caused the dog to panic and dashed out the door. As the waiter confronted him, Zoul simply pointed to Zachary in declaration.

"He is paying for it! Bye!" he declared, and ran out after the dog.

"WHAT?!" Zachary shouted as Zoul fled from the restaurant. He was left with the waiter looking at him impatiently.

After having cleared things up with the manager and at the very least paid for his own meal, he left the restaurant. Zachary was grumpy from the sudden outburst of the stranger. While no real harm was done, he didn't want to let go the fact the guy stuck him with the responsibility to pay with the damage. He was not responsible. Walking down the busy street, he looked to find where the energetic and easily angered swordsman had run off too. Not to mention, the man had left in such haste he left his suitcase behind and now Zachary was dragging it along with him. It was unusually heavy, but he didn't bother to peek inside.

"Just my luck," he groaned as he looked around for where they went."What made me his little target to put blame on. When I find him, I will give him an ear full. Okay so the dog was at fault, but no reason to cause an outburst like that and break the restaurant." he thought aloud. He was lucky enough to walk away without paying the fine.

There was ruckus across the street as people discussed of a man chasing a dog. Knowing few others in the same situation, he decided to follow the trail and see if he could give that guy a piece of his mind. He only hope despite the stupidity of the dog, the dog was relatively not a bloody pulp. The man didn't strike Zachary as one with good patience for animals. He held on to the suitcase , somehow getting the feeling Zoul would be more pissed without it.
