Hey everyone! It's May and you know what that means? Yeah, me neither. There's not a whole lot in terms of major news right now, except for maybe some clarification on some forms of magic like usual. As for a new event? Right now, we're just having the April Event (Bosco Invasion part 3) taking place, which runs into the middle of May. But, one cool new thing that we're introducing this month is SS-Class items. Now you have something to grind and agonize over! Yay, isn't that just lovely? I think so. You can find more info on that in the Equipment and Item Creation section in the rules. That's it for now, folks! If I get anything new to add to this you can guarantee that I will do so. In the words of the immortal douchebag rival, "Smell ya later." Keep on RPing everyone! Kill some Boscans! ~The FTG Staff~ Fairy Tail RPG |

Mission Link Green let out a yawn as he staggered, slightly, over to the bar he wasn't drunk just tired and bored. Things had been moving slowly, a little too slowly really and it began to occur to Green that he would need some reputation shall we say to help further his plan. However, that was easily said than done. He looked about the club area of Raven Tail and found no hopeful potential in sight and so he sighed, this place was rather dull in the terms of potential ... Servants shall we say for now, at least. Looking over the bar slightly he soon walked off from the bar, it was a little early for a drink and besides he had a mission to get going. Speaking of missions, Green was on his way over to the mission board in search of a simple enough mission to take to start his way on gaining this 'reputation' that he apparently needed. Standing straight, his hands in his trouser pockets as he was dressed in his casual business man attire something which he began to like rather well. It gave him that sort of 'bad ass' like style, all he needed now was some sunglasses. Scanning the simple pin up board of various bits of paper he soon spotted one and took it off the board, holding it in a hand he read it silently. The Game. Reading the simply flyer made the mission more curious, a simple D-Rank mission but yet it sounded rather interesting and not just any sort of D-Rank mission. Grinning a little, he soon noted however that it however requested that there be two people. He let out a silent curse and was about to put the mission back on the board before ... |

Callista yawned as she lounged on one of the more comfortable chairs in the corner of the hall. The area was well air-conditioned - it was fairly comfortable sitting right there, getting cozy with the chair as it continued to keep her warm from her own body heat. Yet it was these kinds of chairs that felt so cold to the touch, giving the impression that the chairs were hard and stiff. When Callista rested herself on it though, the sound of air coming out of the chair softening the area under her bottom for her was more than welcome. As she noticed some other people engaged in the slots lacrimas Callista let out a soft yet drawn-out sigh. She was quite bored in fact - finding something else to do that didn't bore her even further was a tall order. Though her ruby eyes were fixated on a small ornamental fixture at one end of the room, the prospect of fooling around with her magic in the locality of Trillium did tempt her a fair bit away from her current objective, the current event on the agenda - a board with several slips of paper that only fluttered a small bit due to the air-conditioning. The pieces of paper were attached by some very pesky metal pins, thumbtacks rather, that could almost induce frostbite to whoever touched it. It was lucky she was wearing rather comfortable and long-sleeved clothing, because she would suspect for any yet-uninitiated Raven Tail member it would be a luxurious trial by fire... or cold in this instance. On her agenda was to try to fulfill her D-ranked mission quota for her guild. It was a rather organised yet biased system that divided mages based on accomplishments for the guild, and not by their true power... yet this argument would not be made public, because Callista wasn't at that stage to argue for it yet. She was still D-ranked, and she would have liked very much to change it for the better. There was a young man near the location of the Mission Request board that also caught her attention. He did seem rather... presentable... with his business attire. Meanwhile, it was totally not Callista's idea to wear sexy clothing. (Wait, what am I talking about? Of course she's not wearing sexy clothing. Look at her main picture!) "Taking a mission there, I see," Callista spoke up loud enough for the young man to hear, yet soft enough to keep out of earshot of the other members. "What's it about? Mind if I join you then?" |

Green was about to place the mission back on the board when a figure stepped beside him, turning his head he found a female standing there who seemed curious as to what he was doing. The female in question had a rather stylish, shall we say, haircut of red hair rather attractive from a certain point of view and she wore a simple dress by the looks the girl spoke about him taking a mission, "Well done, you can use your eyes properly..." Green thought before he pulled the mission back down and stood to face her as she asked what the mission was about and if she could join. Coincidence? Quite possible, his eyes narrowed at the female before he looked at the mission flyer and spoke, "It's about some virtual game that requires two people, and they have to win it." He said softly, and he looked upon the girl once again. How old was this girl? Seriously, she looked way too young to be in this type of establishment let alone asking to go on a mission. Things became interesting firstly due to the fact that to take a mission, one must be registered with a Guild so that concluded the fact that the young female must be a member of Raven Tail. Secondly; she seemed interesting. A possible future servant or potential ally, both rather the same depending on how you look at things. Green smirked, "I see no reason to not let you join, the mission does require two people and," Green said before pausing and looking around club, "There are only a handful of ... suitable people, shall we say." He finished, adding another smirk at the end. |

The young man did in fact seem more aloof than Callista was expecting. Yet again, she had too realistic expectations of social cohesiveness, no doubt fostered by her own upbringing. It seemed as if the young man was judging her. No doubt, she looked younger than she actually was - a slight stretch to say that she was legal, and a bigger stretch to say that she was as old as him. Yet the young man wasn't exactly big-sized, nor post-pubescent either. His rather soft, contrasting introduction of the mission's details no doubt intrigued her, not only for his... tone... but the contents of the mission that did entail Guild help in the first place. His overly formal tone gave Callista no sense of safety in taking the mission, though. She did feel slightly uncomfortable, being a fairly social person in a fairly disconnected guild, dominated mostly by all the distractions Raven Tail provided, not to mention gambling and other vices. It did seem as if this young man was willing to give her a chance to strengthen her position in Raven Tail, and not to mention that she was only one of the few females in the guild. "Well then, I shall join you." Callista tried talking formal, although it was expected of her upbringing it still felt strange to her. In the end her comment only came through as direct and to the point. "Well, looking at the mission details the client's in southwest Trillium, probably another reason why he or she asked Raven Tail instead of any other guild. Let's just go there and see what's up with the mission, then." Callista started walking towards the entrance (or exit, rather) of the guild and beckoned to the young man. "Oh, and if you were wondering... I'm not as young as you would think I am." Situated right in the centre of Trillium the Raven Tail guild quarters was relatively far away from the locality the client seemed to be in - it was probably time to walk then. Green watched the woman carefully, but he invited the girl none the less. Perhaps she was different to the usual bore of the other Raven Tail members and the girl accepted in joining him on this mission. She was a strange one, she seemed to act more than be herself and it didn't help very well. Smirking slightly, the girl pointed out that the client was in southwest Trillium and stating that it was perhaps another reason as to why Raven Tail was asked to take the mission and the girl walked to exit Raven Tail, Green simply followed with his hands in his pockets and raised an eyebrow at the girls comment about her age. He didn't really care how old she was, it was unexpected to find a girl like her in Raven Tail ... Especially in this 'Guild Hall', he kept quiet and followed and they soon exited Raven Tail. "Let's go then." He stated once outside and he walked down the steps, before walking onto the main street of Trillium - or at least one of the main streets. Raven Tail wasn't exactly hiding, and it was in the center of Trillium. Looking around, he soon eyed down the street before looking back at the girl, "Come on then, this way." He stated and waited for her to join him before he would begin to walk down the street and to the south western part of Trillium. |

"I sense you're not one to engage in small talk, and I won't bore you with anything to that extent," Callista joined the young man as they walked down the street. "Hence I felt it would be slightly more appropriate if we engaged in mission speculation. We won't really know of the details until we get there, so I think I might want to wager something on an assumption." "100,000 Jewels that this game that the client wants us to play is more difficult than normal games from the game lacrimas. Another 100,000 Jewels that we would actually have to devise a plan for this." Callista challenged the young man to a test of approach, and she felt that it might break the ice. But Callista extended a hand for greeting. "Since we're in this together, I'm Callista. Of the di Cesare family." She only hoped that the young man would respond in kind, with an equivalent openness that Callista had displayed. But knowing Raven Tail, probably not. The road to the client's location was pretty straightforward. Trillium was laid out in a wheel-and-spoke pattern, and that the main street facing southwest was the only street they had to walk on to get to the client's place. It wasn't so far for them, but Callista was growing more enthusiastic in anticipation. The client's house came up shortly after and it was more than a decent-looking residence. It seemed significantly affluent, but it wasn't as extravagant-looking as their guild quarters. Depressing the button of the doorbell lacrima Callista waited as she looked over to the young man, and at the door for the client to "establish contact", in formal terms. |

The girl said something and Green looked at her as she spoke about not wanting to engage in small talk, she learned fast. However she continued to speak, although it was something worth speaking about, the mission. The girl seemed to want to make a little wager regarding that this game they needed to test was more difficult than normal games and another one-hundred thousand jewels if they had to devise a plan for it. The girl stopped soon after however and extended a hand and introduced herself, Green smirked and took her hand and shook it, "I'm Green." He replied and withdrew his hand, "That wager is unnecessary, 'why' I hear you ask. Well, simple. Why would anyone put up a mission to test a board game, that's any persons job not that for Mages." Green then said, a little bit of laughter in his voice before they continued moving. Walking down a street and then turning here and there, the two soon found themselves at the clients house and it was a rather wealthy accommodation. This far out from the inner city and such a house existed, although not unheard of it was rather interesting to take note of that the other buildings and houses were not as near in wealth to this one. Perhaps there was a reason behind giving the mission to Raven Tail, after all. Callista soon hit the doorbell and Green stood behind her, his hands in pockets as he stared at the front door. "Something tells me, Raven Tail wasn't picked just because of convenience." |
