Link to Arc Plot and small Side-Note

Blitz woke up with a groan, rubbing the side of his head with a hand. "Okay, that freakin' hurt, where the hell....am I...." His sentence trailed off as he noticed his was slung over the top of a palm tree like a sack of potatoes, looking down at the ground that was a little too far below for total comfort. Sliding backward, he grabbed the trunk and slid down to the ground, below, landing in the grass below with a small "puff" as the grass underfoot bent to cushion his landing. Glancing around, he saw nothing for miles but trees and grass and the occasional shrub. Not another soul in sight. A bemused expression crossed his face as he reached up and scratched his head under the brim of his hat. "I know I was fighting on the ship a few moments ago, but I guess I got thrown clear when I landed....did I really fly that far? Damn, I got some serious distance," he said to himself, half worried, half impressed on how far he'd flown. Being aerodynamic was important for a guy who'd just gotten his ability to fly back.

A small glint in the grass caught his eye. Blitz walked over and picked it up - it was the small shard of crystal the doppelganger who he'd been fighting had on him. The thing sparked for a moment as Blitz held it, glowing brightly. "Oh..." What Blitz would have said next was anyone's guess, but it probably wouldn't have been "Dearie Me." A shockwave erupted from the small shard, shattering it into a fine dust in the process, one that slammed into Blitz backward and into the tree, Blitz's breath leaving him in a huff as his lungs introduced themselves to the surprisingly unyielding tree trunk, Blitz landing on his rump on the ground. Coughing, Blitz staggered back to his feet, clutching the side of his head. "Dammit, what the hell hap...." Then he noticed that his hand felt weird on his head, and brought it down to look at it - it was in his Double Knuckle form! Blitz looked at it, mildly confused. "I didn't find that form yet...." Hope crossed his face. "Maybe...." He focused, and his arm turned into a blade, but only the one arm. Frowning, he let his arm turn back to normal. "Guess I got my forms back, sort of - that gun fragment must have had my powers built in, but only in parts. Guess it'll have to do."

Any further thought was interupted by a group of Amazon warriors leaping from the brush, leveling spears at Blitz, three of them at his throat. The warriors wore rough shirts and long, skirt-like cloths, with tribal-looking masks on that had been altered with some kind of paint, and small rings of leaves around their ankles and wrists that seemed to be some form of decoration. All of them had tanned skin and were female. Granted, they had masks on, but considering that they all had some degree of curves to their chest, and that a few had ponytails, it ruled out male - none of them had the proper muscle structure for it. Blitz slowly raised his hands, palms up, the international sign for "look, I'm not carrying a big murderous weapon". "Okay, when I imagined myself alone on an island with a group of women, this is NOT what I had in mind...."

Meanwhile, the crew members, along with Yovel and Hiryu, would be waking up or getting their bearings back on board the half-crunched ship. The captain stumbled onto the main deck, a small trickle of blood leaking from under his cap. "Engineer, status?" he said, leaning on the door frame. The Engineer, who looked unharmed but tired, wiped his brow, leaving a small grease stain there. "The front half of the ship is crunched, but thankfully the core systems are on the back half of the ship. The real issue is the engine. That cannon shot blew the engine to pieces. I might be able to get it running - and that's a BIG "might" - but we're not airworthy as we are now." The captain sighed before turning to Yovel and Hiryu. "We'll tend to the ship. Right now we need to find that hat-wearing friend of yours. I think I saw him fly into the jungle when the ship crashed and he might be hurt."

Yovel awoke and was sore all over. He was cold and shivering as he tried to move his body. He found that his body was stiff and thus Yovel just groaned attempting to move them. It was going to take a while for him to recover if his body. Looking around he saw Vit's giant head peering down at him. Vits was looking over Yovel's body and cocked his head from side to side. Yovel never knew why Vits did that, but it was clearly an owl thing. Maybe Vits spent some time with the owls after dusk and played around with them. Yovel looked around and noticed that the ship itself was in tatters. It was in a poor state and there were many wounded. It was best for Yovel to treat them all, but he wondered where they were. The ship swayed and lurched causing an echo to verberate throughout the ship's haul. It seemed as if they were on water and that concerned Yovel.

He could here people running around and shouting, most likely to check the entire situation. People were crying and Yovel assumed that a number of them must had died in the crash. He sighed as he went back to moving his body. He was able to, but now it was sore as he moved. Vits seemed to have left somewhere and was most likely exploring the ship. It was tiring to say the least, especially when the ship lurched and Yovel's body slid in the direction. It was not what he wanted to do when only a few hours ago he was sun baking naked on the deck of the ship. He then could hear some people cursing and there was a lot of commotion and shouting. Vits was screeching as there was some sort of argument happening between the humans and bird. Yovel wasn't in the mood to deal with them and Vits was more than capable in dealing with them. Spending the next few moments, Yovel focused on getting his body moving once more.

(OOC: Invoking the 2-day no-post rule and skipping Strider this round.)

Blitz kept his hands palm up to show his intentions weren't bad, but they still seemed skeptical of him - as "skeptic" a vibe as you can get from woman with masks who aren't uttering a peep. Wonder what's up with the silence, he thought with a mild look of puzzlement. Vow of silence, maybe? "Eh....I come in peace?" Blitz said, attempting a peaceful approach with a sprinkle of witty humor in there to boot. Not much effect, however. The females simply looked at each other for a moment, and one - a bit taller than the others and with more elaborate tattoos on her mask - nodded towards the jungle depths. Another one nodded and poked Blitz in the chest with just the tip of the spear, pointing into the jungle. "Okay, we're playing follow the leader, that much I got." he said, rubbing the spot where he'd been poked with a fingertip for a moment before marching after the leader of the amazons as they wandered into the jungle.

The deeper they went, the thicker the treetops overhead seemed to get, until the sunlight filtering through made the jungle appear to be some deep, green cave instead of an open forest. Leaves crunching underfoot, they emerged at a cliff face a ways into the jungle, with ivy crawling across it in patches, a thick curtain of the stuff hanging over the bottom part of the cliff. The leader walked forward and through the curtain, sweeping it aside long enough for Blitz to see the tunnel behind it, and that there were more Amazons inside. This could get hectic if they decide I'm not worth the trouble, he mused. I could probably fight my way free, but I'd rather not hurt these innocent - and rather sexy - natives. Plus, I need to find out if Yovel and Hiryu are okay, along with the airship crew.

The leader came back out and gestured inside. Looked like the field trip would keep going a bit further. Blitz walked inside, brushing the vines to one side as he walked into the darkness under the cliff.

Yovel was still weakenend, but he managed to reach his medicine bag. It was underneath his poncho, but was attached to his armour. Slowly moving his arm, Yovel managed to unclip the bag. He was looking for his Healing Salves and went through the different jars and vials. Luckily nothing broke and thus Yovel had a full set of healing supplies readily availiable. Feeling the jars, Yovel moved his fingers looking for one particular type. Finally finding the Healing Salve Cs, Yovel pulled one out of his bag and brought it up to himself. Letting his hand rest on his chest while holding the jar, Yovel waited to gather enough strength in his other hand. Moments went by and there was still a lot of ruckus and chaos going on. The screaming never stopped, it just kept on going with women and children wailing in despair. There was the occassional shouting, but no real scuffle had occurred around him. Most people ignored the blonde boy on the side of the corridor as they kept rushing around. Maybe it was busier somewhere else as the last he remembered, he was in the engine bay when Blitz grabbed him as they were falling. He must be somewhere else then now and it wasn't going to do him any good, nor is it going to do him any harm either. Breathing slowly Yovel managed to garner enough strength to oversome his fatigue. Bringing his other hand up, he grasped the lid of the jar and started to unscrew it. The problem was that Yovel didn't get a good grip on the lid and his fingers slipped past it. Still, he attempted once more to open the jar.

It tooke a few good minutes and by the end of it Yovel flopped his hand by his side. The jar was loosened, but it wasn't opened properly. Instead Yovel rested for a bit, breathing in slowly to regain his strength. The jar went up and down on Yovel's chest as he breathed in and out. His entire body was still sore and ached as he breathed in. It wasn't painful, but it caused a lot of discomfort for him. Yovel yawned and wondered how long he had been knocked out. It could be more moments after they crashed, it could be hours later. His perception of time was never good and his member was all fuzzy. It was just being dragged by Blitz somewhere was the last few moments he remembered. After regaining some more strength, Yovel brought his hand and scooped a bit of the salve out. Yovel felt the soreness throughout his back and felt that most of it was there, other than his knees and hips. With the scoop, Yovel brought it under his poncho and in the space of his armour. He lathered the salve on the upper layers of his back and started to spread it all around. The healing salve soothed the soreness and Yovel started to apply to his head with the rest of the scoop. It was feeling good, but he needed to attend to the rest of his body. Resting his hand back onto his chest, Yovel waited for the Salve to work on the area he just applied. He needed to take his armour off if he wanted to put the Salve on the other areas, but he needed to get up. Atleast he wasn't in any immediate danger. It would be troublesome if something were to happen, but if that were the case Vits would run up and drag him away. There wasn't much Yovel could do for everyone else and thus it would be saddenning. Yovel contemplated as his body started to recover.

Distress, whimpers cries and outrage filled many sectors of the now sunken vessel. Hiryu was not privy to any of these emotions, for Hiryu was still alone on in the desolate, soulless casino floor. While the lights and jingles of the machines still in tact emanated annoyingly yet endearingly in the ambiance, they played for deaf - or more specifically unconscious - ears. From feeling more awake then ever before in his life as he hung perilously one a shattered metal support beam while occupiers climbed up to kill him, Hiryu hoisted his weary body back to the floor having been freed by Vits and Blitz, he was suckered punched by the ships sudden lack of a function engine as he took a moment to recapture his breath and his mettle after nearly falling tens of thousands of feet to his death. Hiryu was still in the casino as everything tilted violently, and wasn't in a position to was the slot machine that stuck him and knocked him out.

Hiryu stirred as a wetness lapped against his face. It then lapped again and again for third time. His groaned childishly trying to turn his head away from the taunting sensation, registering a tug on his crown as he did so. A blurry vision of the casino ceiling greeted Hiryu as he came to. He knew he must have hit something fairly hard to be experiencing a boxer's wake up. He tried to rise to a seated position, but after a small orientation of his neck, for he could not lift his head higher than a few inches from the ground. Furthermore, the wetness that smacked him across the face earlier had already soaked into the right side of his clothes. Hiryu glance about as best as his limited peripherals would allow, deducing that the gaping whole he had made with the roulette prop was now taking on water from the outside and that his hook, that he didn't actually take out his hair was not pinned under a slot machine, clamping his head in play to. His first though was to free himself, which he couldn't do by pulling (or more he simply wouldn't as the hook had somewhat knotted itself into his long wavy hair during the crash landing. To add to the confusion, the magicell headset began to flash intermittently, just not on Hiryu's head but off to one side out of reach. Hiryu looked around, knowing that he was alone and not braced enough to rip his hair free, spotting a glass shard on the slippery floor. He used his feet to claw it into range of his hands and began sawing at his hair. It was a crude and half-blind process. Hiryu took his time and play a little guess work. By the time he was done, he rolled away from the slot machine and wobbled as he readjusted to being on a vertical base again. He found a reflective surface to check himself. He was a few scratches and bumps but the worst damage was to his hair, now short and seemingly unkempt. It was nothing unimportant at all.

...none the less Hiryu dipped his tender, reddened hands into the salty water and dapped his hair to simulate gel and sleek it back. All this time he had yet to answer the magicell hedset which was no flashing for an incoming communication for the sixth time. Hiryu finally picked it up in a grouch.

<What?> he snapped grumpily.

<What? Why the hell haven't you picked up till now? What's wrong with you?> exasperated Mahkan from the infirmary. Just like the casino, the infirmary had been he shuffled like a Rubik's cube in the crash with beds and shelves being right as new patients from other sectors poured in.

<My hair!!> rebutted Hiryu. His ego was so rancorous about his hair which was now floating out of the water filled hole in strands that he was happy just to use the tense conversation as an excuse to take out his frustration on an animate object.

<...What!?> bellowed Mahkan, un a short-fused place of his own since his beloved ship had been plucked from the air. Hiryu sighed uncharacteristically giving up on his ego trip rather quickly. It would have been appropriate seeing as he did not actually witness the victory (as short as it was) of he and the rest of the mage defence team, so for all he knew the invasion could still have been in progress, however, Hiryu was just out of sorts and quite literally couldn't focus enough to be mad.

<Nevermind... I was pinned down in the casino. What happened? Why is their sea water in the casino?> asked Hiryu, his thought coming through less distorted with each passing second as he exorcised the grogginess from his mind.

<We crash landed! I spoke with witnesses at the engine room and at the captain's quarters. Those damn pirates shot out the engine and then fled!> explained Mahkan, able to give Hiryu a mental image of damage, one which he had been given from the previous telekinetic conversations.

<Then we won? They ran away?> asked Hiryu, unsurprisingly more concerned about his own success than the state of the ship or the passengers.

<If you can call it that... at least, there's no reports of any known intruders. However, we have many wounded... some worse. We have passengers on board that we need to tend to while we radio for help. Someone will need to go inland an courier a message for help.> explained Mahkan.

<...>

<Hello?>

<Oh, I'm still here. I just think you used the word 'courier' to try and trick me into going in land and looking for help. As if just using the word will make me want to be the courier in question.> snapped Hiryu in an unamused, dismissive tone.

"Argh!" cried out Mahkan out loud, giving a fright to those around him. His roar was in annoyance, since that was not his intention at all and was simply using appropriate emergency landing vernacular. "Fine if you don't want to do it I'll just send someone el-"

<Wait, wait, wait... I never said I wouldn't do it. I really should do it after all, it's not like anyone else could possibly do it better. I was just trying to explain that I had already thought of that before you started ringing and distracting me.> lied Hiryu smugly. Mahkan at this point didn't care.

<Fine. That's great, then I won't keep you any longer. Find the rest of your team and go on ahead and also make communication with the captain. He wanted to alert you about something.>

The communication ended and Hiryu walked out towards the top deck where the core of the fight had taken place while the ship was still in the air. One the way he got in contact with the command deck via the magicell. The Captain's representative spoke of Blitz being separated from the ship during the crash and falling into the jungle, giving Hiryu a mental image of what he saw. Hiryu found this mental image thing trippy and and decided to test it himself by giving him a mental image of Vits and Yovel and asking of their whereabouts. The bird did as Hiryu knew him to do and was harassing bewildered strangers with Yovel tending to his own wounds near by. Someone had already complained of the bird by the time Hiryu made contact.

Hiryu chose not to tarry, and picked up his feet and made way to Yovel with the intention of telling him about Blitz and mounting a rescue party. Hiryu was ebullient about finding Blitz because blitz had technically saved his life just before the crash.

...While the sentiment seemed pure, gallant and honourable, Hiryu was not vivacious in Blitz rescue because he felt he owed it to Blitz, but because he hated the idea Blitz could hold it over him that he needed his hat-wearing, guitar playing, metal-morphing help. He knew that he needed to be swift, as Blitz had an annoying habit of being resilient and capable. If he took too long Blitz might find his own way back to the ship, and then who knows when Hiryu could relieve the burden of owing him one.

Walking through the tunnel, he emerged in a lush garden-like city, with stone structures dotting the landscape, with intricate designs weaving up the various pillars holding them up. There were many more amazon warriors inside, all wearing masks, but none said a word as they passed - it was starting to go from "cautious" to "creepy" in Blitz's mind. Maybe it's an island of mute Amazon warriors, he thought. The warriors lead him to a large structure at the city's farthest edge, a building atop a large stone staircase that was almost pyramid-like in nature. Entering, there was a row of curtains blocking something on the far side of the pedestal across from him, some sort of throne was visible faintly through the curtains. "The one you asked to see, Master." the leader of the scout warriors said. Her tone surprised Blitz - it wasn't as rough or stern as he had expected it to be. The amazons bowed and left as quickly as they came, leaving Blitz alone with the would-be Amazon Leader. "Er...." Blitz said, trying to quick think of what he was supposed to do or say, but before he could get a word out, the curtains swung back, Blitz's eyes widening at the figure gracing the stone throne behind the veil with his arms crossed - Luminous Fortress, his Shield takeover form.

(Shad, Strider, feel free to take the helm on the "search for Blitz" part of the mission. The main plot will resume when the groups meet.)

(OOC: Healing Salve C is going to take 2 more posts to finish working so Yovel's out for the moment XD)

Vits was arguing with some people as they attempted to go into the room that Yovel was resting in. He had earlier managed to scare people out of the place and now he was barricading the door with his fat body. There were a number of crew men who were trying to get past the bird and they shouted at him. Vits ignored them, but there was a point he could take before he would rage at the humans. One of the crwe member tried to man handle the bird. Vits nearly popped a vein as he stood up and screeched at the man. Vits slammed his talon down and pinned the man onto the floor. The others took a step back in surprise from the bird and one idiot had the gala to pick up a metal pole and tried to strike Vits with it. Vits retracted his head quickly as the pole came swinging. Once it had passed, Vits extended his head and attacked the crew member by clamping his beak down on the man's chest. It pierced his shoulder which caused blood to gush out. Vits now staring at the rest of the crew members with blood dripping down onto his feathers was poised to strike. This caused within the survivors as they were worried what the big bird could do to them. Vits started to stomp forwards and people started to get scared. If things were to continue like this, then some might get pushed over the edge and cause people to break down. Vits wasn't concerned as he was prepared to fight them to protect Yovel.

The coming together of this rag tag team of magic-incensed brawlers usually meant they could find each other by simply following the route to chaos. Even without prior direction from those around, Hiryu could have inevitably found his way to the recovering Yovel by walking towards the biggest commotion in the local area. Hiryu was greeted by the sight of a bleeding member of staff and a giant ever-frenzied green bird with blood on his mouth. Hiryu panned his head around the area, It took him a few seconds but he eventually was able to surmise that Vits was acting as centurion for the door, keeping the crowd at bay with his cannibalistic rage. Hiryu wondered whether the bird was naturally overprotective, or his pancho-wearing master had a really big issue with being disturbed. Hiryu stood in front of Vits. He and the bird weren't exactly best of friends, but the bird had yet to give him the same hard time he gave most strangers. Hiryu wasn't indifferent or completely apathetic to the plight of the onlookers around him who had suffered at Vits's talons, but he was trying his best not to take on any more confusion than necessary. He tilted to the side and raised his heels off the ground to shout over Vits's shoulder as if he were an inanimate statue.

"Yovel, Blitz is lost in the jungle. I'm gonna go save him. You coming or what?" he called casually.

Blitz stared at the figure on the throne for a moment, then whipped a guitar off his back, ready to face off against the form. Unnecessary, however, as the form raised his hands palm up in the same manner Blitz had against the amazons, going "Easy there, I'm not here to harm you like the other forms. This is more of a.....little vacation get-together kind of deal." Blitz looked at the form, confused, then sighed, stowing his guitar away. "Okay, I'm bursting with questions, but I gotta know - how did you end up as the ruler of an island kingdom of amazons?" he asked. Fortress chuckled as he rose from his throne. "Well, when the forms split up, I didn't have anything to do with the others, so i went off in my own direction. I managed to find a ship and set sail, hoping to get some time to myself, but it sunk in a storm. When I woke up, I found myself on this island, being peered at by the natives." "And they just decided to make you king of the place?" Blitz said skeptically. "What, were you their one thousandth visitor or something?" Fortress laughed. "Nothing so simple. Take a look." He walked over to the wall, drawing the curtain back further to reveal stone etchings in the wall, most of it seeming to involve combat. He moved about halfway down and tapped a metallic knuckle against the etchings. "Look familiar?" Engraved on the wall was a blocky figure with round shields on its arms, one that looked remarkably similar to Luminous Fortress.

Vits looked over to Hiryu and remembered the time where Hiryu grabbed onto him as he attempted to fly around in Aster town. It wasn't a pleasant experience as it was very abrupt and it left him tired and fatigued afterwards. Meanwhile in the room, Yovel heard Hiryu call out to him. He was sitting up now as the healing salve was taking a greater effect and his body was almost recovered. Yovel shouted out of the room Jungle? Do you know where we are? Last I checked I thought we were out at sea! Yovel stretched his arms as he started to slather the rest of the salve on his legs now that he could reach them. His kness were knocked and his thigh was throbbing. Most likely he landed on something during the fall. It wasn't the only part that was sore as there were signs of brusing that were developing, but the pain regarding them subsided with the healing salve. I'll join you in a sec, I'm still recovering. It would be a 10 to 15 minutes until I can stand up again, then I'll join you. As well as what was with the noise outside? Has Vits decided to attack people again?

Hearing what Yovel said, Vits ruffled his feathers to make himself bigger. He looked at the scared people and squawked at them causing a few to flee in fear. The others were either warily observing him or cowering in fear. Vits then sat in front of the door making sure that no one could open it from his end.
